Best corepower Iβve ever been to! Very clean and spacious, beyond welcoming staff. Leah Z was a great instructor. Will 100% be back to this location!

I've been a Core Power member for years, and started going to the Fremont studio since it's a short walk from my new office. Vira has rapidly become my favourite instructor of all time. She brings so much energy and positivity to the class, you can't help but smile and challenge yourself to push just a bit further.
The studio itself is nice, modern, and clean, but Vira is the star.

Iβve been a corepower yoga client since 2008. Needless to say to part ways with a studio you have been a client for 17 years is hard. But they have changed their policy on when they close the door and I have lost countless class credits and time due to their policy change. Sometimes the uber driver keeps driving the wrong direction. Sometimes we all encounter a roadblock, or work situation. They used to have a 5 min grace period which was very helpful. Now I have to say enough is enough. After being rejected 3 times in a day and having to call and wait on the line for 20 minutes each time, I would never recommend this company to anyone. It is with great disappointment and sadness, I will have to part ways with this studio.

This studio and the classes/teachers used to be better, but it has changed a lot in recent years... and not for the better.
Most recent experience: The last time I was at this CorePower was such a frustrating experience! There was a group of us waiting outside the studio for class, but no one ever showed up to open the studio nor teach the class, and no one was answering their phones (we also tried to reach out to their support center). On top of that, the weather was wet and awful (obv don't blame the studio for that, but waiting outside for so long with no contact from anyone at CP wasn't great). When they finally responded to my support messages, they reimbursed my booked class and gave me an extra class that expires in one month, but it was still very unprofessional that this happened at all.
Classes: After pandemic, the studio is less busy which is admitted kinda nice sometimes as there isn't a struggle to find space in class even during "rush" times; however, this also means that a lot of their classes have been getting cancelled. It's unclear why, though I suspect a combo of lack of signups and the inability to find a substitute if the scheduled teacher is unavailable at short notice.
Teacher Training: They're always pushing their teacher training programs and it seems like teachers graduate often. When taking class at the same time a training is going on, the student teachers often socialized in the lobby during their break, making it more challenging to get through to the class.

No water in the building and the two staff i have talked to are very rude. Told me to get water outside the building while having the door locked. Go to another studio where the staff are more normal

Every time I do yoga I sob at the end; however, this time I started sobbing from the get go. I was made aware of the damaging and neglectful ways I did with my body. I went to the 5:30 pm class on Monday. Inadvertently I reserved on a hot yoga class, what a wonderful surprise. it was my first time at CorePower Yoga, and hopefully first of many more. I am looking forward to further connect mind, body and soul.

On the early afternoon of New Year's Eve I took the Hot yoga class. I totally loved it. The studio is very cute, and the instructor Taylor took us on this journey throughout the class reminding us to be present, and proactively made herself available before and after the class.

Negligent in hygiene
After a happy year with the studio, attending 4-6 classes/week, in Mayβ22 I got a severe skin infectionβ¦ and subsequently discovered that CorePower Yoga does not use professional cleaners. All cleaning is apparently done by teachers and volunteers. My overall isolation combined with the facts that my spouse never got infected and that my infection started at my feet β the feet that are bare in the studio! β pointed to CorePower Yoga. However, learning that they do not see cleaning as their basic responsibility made me think that my horrific experience β I lost nearly a week of billable hours and 3 months later, still have scarring from the blisters that covered my whole body β was not an unfortunate accident but rather the product of willful negligence by a corporation.
Like me, many may assume that hot-yoga studios, like gyms and other places where people sweat and shed lots of skin cells, engage commercial cleaning. Learning that CorePower Yoga does no such thing concerned me so deeply that I could barely focus. I suspended my membership and contacted Core Powerβs regional management for clarification. 7.5 weeks and several follow-ups later, still nothing. I am very sad. I miss the teachers I love. I miss hot yoga. But I simply cannot expose myself and my family to who knows what risks. Neither can I make it okay for CorePower Yoga to rake in fees and pandemic stimulus money β let alone profess to care about our wellness -- while putting our health at risk.
CorePower Yoga is negligent and should not be in this business.

Core Power have a high standard of studio & teaching right across the US but also have newly opened in Australia. I find the Vinyasa flow to be a great balance of strength and flexibility work at the right pace and in a manageable temperature. Recently went to class in the San Francisco Financial district. I really enjoyed the teacher & we happily chatted afterwards about being a yogis from Australia. Her kindness was appreciated.

I had the most comfortable experience at this yoga studio! The staff were also very friendly, and they helped keep the site clean. The yoga flow was great for experienced yogis and beginners as well. The day I visited was not very busy. I will definitely be returning soon! Such great views of the City on my way there, too!

These guys are the worst business to deal with. Their call center numbers don't work, no one responds to emails and their chat bot is plain stupid. I'm struggling to get a receipt for my purchase of private classes. It's been over 15 days and absolutely no one responds even on their FB page. I don't understand why can't they just send the automated email receipt as soon as the classes are purchased so that customers don't have to follow up. I'm yet to start the classes, but i'm already regretting!

CorePower Yoga on Fremont Street is the best! As someone who used to be sort of intimidated by yoga, I've learned so much from going here regularly, and the experience has really been transformative for me.
Virtual yoga classes just don't compare to the sense of community and honestly *peace* that comes with flowing at the studio with others, in person. So CorePower corporate, please keep this location open! π
The teachers are wonderful β friendly, helpful, encouraging, and make yoga feel accessible to anyone. If I could take every class with Jenna, I would. Her classes are awesome and sheβs great at giving verbal adjustments to improve your form in real time... and I'm not just saying all of this because we share the same name, promise!
Thank you CorePower on Fremont for being such a sanctuary for me and the local community! So grateful for you.

The CorePower studio on Fremont is so filled with wellness, teaching and learning.... no words can describe how much I treasure the months I spent going to hot yoga at CorePower Fremont prior to the shutdown in March, 2020. The practice was transformative and amazing on every level. The instructors are true professionals. To CorePower management - please please please keep this location open. You have an incredible thing going here, and I so hope that you will re-open as soon as the City of San Francisco permits in-studio yoga. I have imagined taking extended child position for the first time again, and it will be amazing! I've been practicing to the CorePower video yoga, but it is not even close the in-studio experience. To all of the staff - thank you. You are the best!!!

I arrived at the studio 15 minutes before class started signed in and went to get changed. It was taking the teachers who were signing all the guests in a while to get organized. By the time I had changed and made it to the studio it was a few min before the class started. The teacher came out and told me and another guest there was no room even though we had already signed in and paid. She then told us she had to start class and closed the door on us. When going to the front desk to inform them they said they would refund our class but did not offer any sort of apology. I frequent other corepowers but will not return to this one. Not only was I not able to go to attend the class I had signed up for but I was treated poorly. The studio should know how many mats fit in it and book accordingly.

This is a very commercialized yoga studio, which is not necessarily a bad thing. There are classes through-out the day, the studios are great and them team friendly and helpful. Furthermore, there is no need to book a class, which is a pleasant change from so many other places, and I have never tried that a class was full. However, although the instructors will always say they are hands-on and will offer assistance etc. this almost never happen. You will be have to be far out from a pose for it to happen, and there is rarely any assistance into a deeper stretch etc.

Please be aware that this studio has extremely inflexible rules. I arrived exactly 3 minutes late, and wasnβt allowed in by the rude lady at the reception.
They urgently need to have their policy reflect that of a friendly lunch time yoga class and not the rigidness of the stock market. Very counter-productive to the spirit of yoga. San Francisco has much better to offer than this place.

Terrible front desk people rudely declining our request for the scheduled class due to βnot enough people showed upβ. My friend and I showed up the second the clock turned one minute past the hour and they say oh the class is canceled. I asked why and they said not enough people showed up and weβre late..... by half a minute..... Ruined the holiday spirit due to them being lazy and not wanting to honor the class cuz itβs just two students and they probably think itβs not worth their precious while.

I try to badly to love this studio (maybe its just this location) but I cant get over that there is no staff to clean the studios between classes or the bathrooms? Its 2018, studios are hiring people to manager things like this because people pay a lot of money to take a class OR better yet be a member!!
Also, towel rentals? Are you kidding me? They arenβt even good towels they are clearly overused.
Speaking of a support staff: 1. it would be beneficial to have someone clean the floors as well as the bathrooms and the WEIGHTS. Also, if a student pits the weights back... the likely hood of them not being put back properly are high!
2. SO WHEN THE WEIGHT ROLLS OFF THE TOP, a 5Lb one mind you, and slams down on my foot... you would hope they had a first aid kid or just some ice?! The girls at the desk looked at me like I was crazy?i get that there is a waiver for situations like this but, really?? NO ICE? How about an AED if someone has a heart attack?
Honestly, as much as I like your sculpt classes. You probably wont find me back here ever again.

Adam (I think that was his name) was a great instructor. I like that he pushed us really hard. If you're only working out once in a day, and it's going to be a sculpt class, make it count. Everyone is responsible for their own level of challenge and he set the bar high so that I made no excuses for myself. Really great workout.

During the weekend, they close the doors right before the classes start. even if you are 1 min late, they canβt accommodate your practice. Iβm a black tag member. on Saturdays and Sundays there is only one mid afternoon class in Fremont st in SF, and they usually close it right before the class start (2:57/58pm) so I canβt never use C2 on Saturdays.

Dear Yoga People, My friend took me here for my birthday, I was really irked to find out it was 70 minutes and even more annoyed that it was in a hot room. I did bikram yoga for a year to prove to all my yoga loving friend that I hated it and that I had given it a good go so they couldn't say I didn't try it long enough. First third of the class I was cursing the class. Two thirds of the class I was just trying to survive the class. Last part of the class......I made it this far, I might as well finish the damn thing. Twenty minutes later, I figured I felt good and in 70 minutes I got a good cardio, strength and stretching in. I decided I would take up the week of free classes and kinda like the 30 day bikram challenge I would do it daily. I told a couple of friends about my suffering and they either want to see me suffer or think its a good workout option for them too. I obviously have not seen any results, but a healthy change doesn't happen over night. Ask me after a month to see if I feel the same way. Sharon

Beautiful studio-- everything is brand new and they have a great locker room and amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only negative (but you have to expect this in SF) is that the 5:30pm class was super super packed which meant a super packed and crowded locker room after but I think that's just more the nature of yoga in the FiDi anyways!
