This core power location is good in a pinch. However, I have walked out twice during classes and have had some bad experiences. Ants on the floor, rude instructors, and unbelievably LOUD music to the point of overstimulation. Overall the studio just feels very dirty and the employees are not very nice. I very much prefer Santa Monica location over this one. But good if there is no other option and you need a workout. Classes are PACKED. They need to do a better job of capping the amount of people because it’s just too overwhelming.

I generally like coming here but Jaclin was rude. Her class was going over and was leaving due to heat safety and time. Wanted to clean the blocks and she told me not to and not to make any noise. Completely inappropriate and acted rude I have been going to core power for over 10 years now. Disappointed in this.

I love coming here because Jaclin is an amazing teacher!!! Her moves burn, her music pumps you up and she keeps you motivated. I’ve taken Core Power classes all over the US and throughout LA. She is literally the best!

Dirtiest corepower yoga studio in socal, I canceled my membership because of this place.
The showers were filthy and constantly out of service for days. Ring of grime in the shower pan, mold covered curtains, toilets broken and full of feces.
Worst part is I work 10 minutes from here was was intending to come here daily...but nope.
Classes were packed like sardines, I didn't like having people's feet in my face.
I ended up going to Bayclub, much farther away but at least its clean.

This location is great for many reasons. They have a wide variety of skilled and creative instructors.
The studio is spacious with several showers.
There is plenty of free parking.

As the father to a newborn baby and longtime CPY member, I can confidently say that Amber’s Yoga Sculpt class is more challenging than any 4am feeding 😅
She and so many of the instructors know the body better than any other studio and will work every muscle group to make you feel like a champ walking out that door. Coming up on my 400th class, I know I’m a stronger person and my practice has grown exponentially thanks to their expertise. Join now or at least try it with a buddy!
Marina (and Wilshire) studios have free parking, along with a few others I’m sure. The studio is clean and well kept and the staff is a pleasure to
see every time. I feel right at home here :)

I also had a very bad experience with the 3 girls working the front desk. Very- not nice! First time to studio, and I asked to join the next class - she said “theres a wait list” in a not very nice way - no yoga, happy, pure smile; rather a bitter, mean LA girl style; it was just 2 minutes before the class- and in 2 minutes she said ok- you can go. They definitely need to hire mature women that are there for all yoga has to offer, not just to sweat. Did not feel comfortable at this studio.

Classes are packed to the brim - so much so you can barely get through class without accidentally touching those around you. They really should enforce caps on their classes - otherwise it’s completely unemployable.

This studio is disgusting every time I come here. Bathroom floors are filthy, gross dirt/dust/germs along base boards behind toilet. Hair all over. I’ve had a membership to core power for two years and try to avoid this studio even though it’s closest to my home. Today there was mold on the bottom fifth of shower curtains. I said to a guy in the hall, doesn’t everyone realize there’s mold. He said, “Yes, that’s been there forever.” I would avoid this filthy black mold infected studio if you have any respiratory issues. The picture is not even of the curtain either the most. Also, when I started they had mouthwash, desodorante, tampons, que tips. They have not had those for at least a year.

I was 1 minute late and the doors were locked and no one was there. According to the CorePower website they do this for the “safety of their students.” Sounds like they do this so they don’t have to hire more than 1 person. I definitely won’t be going back.

I've been taking classes for years with Brian Kest and several other wonderful instructors like Julia Horai and was on my way to dinner and decided to stop by and pick up a schedule or info on classes. There were three young pretty girls talking together and one behind the desk. When I asked if there was a schedule, she looked at me very meanly and said we don't have schedules. That was all I got. She didn't say here's our card or anything else. I finally asked how I could find out when the classes were given, she sald look online. There were two business cards holders stacked with cards on the desk. She didn't offer me one. I know we live in the Trump era were it's ok to be publicly hostile to minorities for no reason, but it's not a good look for your "yoga" company which means "join" or "unite". The treatment I received was beyond rude and condescending. I hope your staff in your other studios represent what you are supposed to stand for much better.

LOVE coming to core power MdR and taking Jaclin yoga sculpt classes! Aside from an amazing workout she creates a VIBE with expertly curated music that makes you want to push as you can. Always leave her class with a smile and feeling incredible and I will follow her wherever she goes

Unlike some other rather negative reviews, I found no issues with cleanliness.
I surprisingly enjoyed my time at CoreYoga. Although I would have liked it if it was hotter (personal preference). But to be fair, they don’t advertise it as a hot studio.
You can borrow locks and hair ties at the counter.
I particularly enjoyed Daveen and Jaclin’s class. Daveen’s class was electrifying and had me giggling away. Jaclin has great energy and her classes are always booked out in advance. (Thank you Jaclin for the yoga mat. I tried it in class the next day and absolutely LOVED how grippy it was!)
I’ll definitely be back!

Been going here for a year now. Amazing instructors, clean studio that doesn't smell like sweat, lots of classes at all timings and even on some holidays. C2 is regular yoga and Sculpt is a cardio fitness fusion, I mix and match.
It's also best value to get a membership, as you can also use it during your travels across the United States.
I do wish temperature is consistent in C2 classes, some teachers make it a bit too hot for a class that doesn't advertise as hot yoga

I enjoyed the C2 - CorePower Yoga 2 with Natasha. She is an excellent instructor with a great sense of humor.
Pros:
- They offer free, unlimited parking without the hassle of validation, and finding a parking spot is easy since they share the lot with other businesses in the shopping center.
- The staff at the front desk are friendly and welcoming.
- Amenities such as lockers, showers, and mat rentals are available.
- The workout is intense and leaves you feeling hot and sweaty.
However, there are a few drawbacks to consider:
Cons:
As many other reviews have mentioned, the cleanliness of the studio, especially the showers, leaves much to be desired. During my visit, I encountered unclean showers with lingering hair that appeared to have not been cleaned in a while, unrelated to the previous user. The studio's floor also showed signs of neglect.
It's unfortunate that the cleanliness issue, as indicated by numerous reviews, seems to persist without any noticeable improvements, despite it being a long-standing concern. I've visited their other locations, which were noticeably cleaner.
- Having explored various yoga studios in the area, including Hot 8, Modo Yoga, and Sweat Yoga, I'm familiar with the cleanliness standards. Unfortunately, this particular location falls short in this aspect.

Very unprofessional and immature ladies working this studio. They should be ashamed of calling themselves yoga teachers. Seems they just want the title to seem cool instead of actually walking the walk they are all talk and just physical beings lacking spirituality on a desperate level

Took the sculpt class this morning and it WHOOPED me. I started class with the mentality that I will be the one carrying the boats and the logs come hell or high water. THEY DONT KNOW ME SON. By the end, I was in childs pose in a pool of my own sweat praying to the hindu god Shiva to spare me and forgive me for my transgressions.
My only issue is that these post workout endorphins have me feeling so euphoric and invincible that I start sending risky texts and committ to things I will regret later. Blame it on Corepower!

Emily has an electric personality. Her passion and energy are infectious. Most importantly, she makes us work out insanely hard, which I love. And she does it with a smile on her face

First time at this studio as I’ve been trying to find a studio close to me. Although there were a few spots left when I got in, I took the spot right next to the door. However, I quickly came to find out soon after class started that there is absolutely no insulation beneath the door frame. Given that outside air was coming through the whole class, I did not sweat at all (while everyone around me was dripping.) The other off-putting part about this studio was the slacking on cleanliness: the area around me inside the studio was dusty and the bathroom was dirty.

Corepower Yoga offers a great blend of strength, cardio, and restorative yoga. When I first started I went 3x a week and it was less strain on my body with all the visible benefits. I recommend the CorePower Yoga 1 & 2 before attempting the Yogasculpt. The Yogasculpt class has weights so if your balance isn't the best n you want to get more familiar with the flow routines, do the CP1 class. Also, the YS class is heated so working harder is literal.Make sure you bring a towel to that class and go light. The prices for monthly membership are a bit expensive for my budget, so I usually just buy a class pass esp if they are discounted. If you are eligible for a free week membership, it's definitely the best way to see which flow class you might like. There is a Restorative Yoga class offered on Sunday @ 12p and it was great for me to start the week stretched out and relaxed. This has always been my favorite studio bc of the parking and location. If you have a preference for the location of your mat, arrive abt 10-15 mins earlier. CorePower Yoga is also a nice balance if you do other tough and rigorous workouts. I do Crossfit classes at least 2x a week so getting in active recovery feels great.

Core power yoga is a great workout !
The classes really focus on core strength as well as intentional practice
I've been a member for awhile (almost 8 years!) I don't understand why I still have to pay for a mat when I visit any studio. ***Wish there was some kind of tiered memberships for contributing to the business for so long.
This Marina Del Rey studio has 2 classrooms and 3 bathroom stalls. The bathroom stalls are designed to have a sink, shower, changing bench, towel hooks, toilet and mirror. Ive visited over 15 studios all over the country and this is the first "bathroom stall" I've seen. Not a fan of the concept but I do like the high ceilings and the lighting /decor
It is located within a small mall and so parking is plentiful. There are even a few stalls right outside the studio , very convenient!

I’m visiting and went to this location to get my workout on while I was in LA. Jaclin was an AMAZING instructor who had a legion of regulars - for good reason! One of the best corepower classes I’ve ever taken! The studio is very clean and the bathrooms are super nice. Highly recommend! Also has lots of parking!
