Why are people running in and out of the yoga studio while we are all in class? Usually, the yoga studio is locked to prevent this type of behavior. It's all fun and games until one of these crazy people come in and try to harm us all in class. Very unprofessional.

Carra J is absolutely incredible. My best friend and I were traveling from out of town and decided to pick up her class on a whim. When we showed up, we were the only people in class and Carra went above and beyond to make it a special experience for us. She was mindful of substitutions and met us where we were at. It meant a lot to us as we are not as as advanced as the standard yogi. Being a new mom postpartum… I rarely get time to myself, and this was already going to be a treat for me. However, I didn’t anticipate how wonderful the class would be. The playlist was amazing and included the instrumental version of the life of a showgirl. One of my favorite albums at the moment! Also, she did hands-on adjustments and showed me how to use blocks to better support my at home practice. I wish I lived local so I could go to her class every week. She is absolutely incredible and you will not be disappointed. Also, she has a very kind face! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜βœ¨

CP North Park is my favorite studio because of how hot the room gets! So many great instructors at this location. I usually go in the morning, but if you’re looking for an amazing afternoon class, I highly recommend C2 with Erika T!

As a beginner, this was my second hot yoga class and first at this location. I made it clear to them that I was new when I got there. After about a half an hour I began to feel light headed and took a break. I went back in, determined to keep on going but eventually had to leave because I didn’t want to become a heat casualty. After I took a shower and was sitting in the lobby still sweating, the instructor opened the door of the studio and asked if I needed my parking validated. Not one word about if I was ok or how I was doing. It was very dismissive. I understand that there’s the rest of the class there to attend to, but especially as a new student, I would hope that the teacher would have recognized that and shown a little interest or concern. That was my experience. I won’t be back.

Lauren G's HPF is the best of the best! She respects the practice while bringing her beautiful soul and experience to every class. Her music is inspiring, she has SO MANY followers and knows her people, I love her class, the perfect balance of heat and humidity is EXACTLY what we come for! Loved her in PL (can't wait to get back) and thank you for letting Lauren teach at NP while PL is closed!

Didn’t make it to class due to inability to find parking. I couldn’t find anything on their website site that mentions where to park and had to read the reviews. Pretty frustrating to come early and spend 20 mins to find parking and not make it in

When considering a yoga studio, ambiance and facility quality significantly impact the experience. Core Power Yoga, unfortunately, falls short in these aspects. The studio's state of disrepair and an unmistakable smell of mold or mildew are immediate red flags for anyone seeking a clean, serene environment for their practice. Moreover, it appears that Core Power Yoga's corporate oversight is lacking, particularly concerning the support and maintenance of their studios. This is especially concerning given the high membership fees charged, which one would expect to contribute towards a well-maintained and functioning facility.

Several visits to different locations have revealed a pattern of neglect, including lack of hot water in showers and issues with heating systems that compromise the quality of hot yoga classes β€” a core offering that should never be compromised. Such inconsistencies not only detract from the overall experience but also raise questions about the value for money and the brand's commitment to providing a premium service.

Given these experiences, it's challenging to recommend Core Power Yoga. While the quality of yoga instruction may still be high, the physical conditions and operational oversights are significant drawbacks. Prospective members are advised to consider these factors carefully and perhaps look into other studios that prioritize both the quality of their classes and the condition of their facilities.

Emily and Iskra, have been my guides to recovery through all my surgeries and injuries in the last 2 years! Emily lifts me with her gentle guidance while Iskra grounds me with her steady voice - and I love them and appreciate them both. Could not have survived the last 2 years without them.

I love this studio! I can walk there and the staff is so kind! The only thing is the rooms always seem to be way hotter than other studios. I can do HPF at another studio and it feels great but when I do it at NP, I always end up feeling like I’m going to pass out. I don’t know if they do the temperatures different or if it’s just me. I’d love to be able to come to this studio more often!

I took David W’s Barbie themed HPF and it was a dream come true. Not only is he a fantastic instructor, he put so much passion and effort into the theme of the class. From the decor to the music to the poses and even a parting gift, this class was 100% chef’s kiss.

North Park CorePower Yoga stands out as the top studio in San Diego. Having visited all studios, I'm amazed by the positive energy here. Tony's Sculpt class and Heidi's HPF class are unparalleled, with their motivating attitudes. Clean facilities and friendly staff make it a must-visit. Highly recommended! πŸ™

The North Park Studio is wonderful, the staff and the classes are great! I have attended the HY1, Hot Fusion Yoga and the Restorative Class (which was a double class with HY1) and I LOVED IT!! I wished my schedule permitted me to go weekly but it doesn't, but when I have FRI's off I will definitely be attending HY1 & the Restorative class again!

Northpark is my home studio and one of my top fav's- classes are challenging and staff is welcoming. The classes are some of the hottest Ive been in at this studio and I have my favorite girls. If you're not in the best space when you entered you will definitely leave in a better space! Glad I discovered CP yoga and also glad there are so many locations around my general area!
