Never go to Victoria S’s classes. She crammed 50 ppl in the smallest space, heat full blast, swimming in a sea of sweat and BO, then she goes over time and snapped at a guy who was helping his dizzy girlfriend. We’re paying an extra $100 hoping for better experiences. She definitely failed us.

Do NOT take hot power fusion with Sarah Cordial. She did a poor job explaining certain poses such as Supta Vajrasana (fixed form) and I felt a sharp pain in my lower back and she didn’t do anything to recommend any modifiers or alternate poses during more harder poses for people can’t do Fixed Firm pose.
Furthermore, Sarah only gave us ONE opportunity to drink water and towel off. That’s not ok for a hot class.
Don’t go to this studio if you’re fine with the potential of breaking your lower back and poor quality instructors.

I have never had a worse yoga experience. Tiny room jam packed with people, mat to mat. I enjoy hot yoga as long as the heat enhances the practice. This…. was a sauna with a dash of warrior two. The flow was completely random and not strenuous yet everyone was DRENCHED by 5 min in. I mean, dripping sweat in buckets. It was disgusting. Instructor was hard to hear and everyone was just doing their own thing so can't follow other's either. I left feeling like I’d done a mediocre stretch yet my clothes were soaked beyond belief. If you enjoy being in a sauna enhanced by odor of 30-40 sweaty individuals while you do your own thing, then this is worth trying.

Best instructors and space with 3 studios and locker-bathrooms with showers. Classes from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. everyday.

I love this location, lots of good teachers, and now that the heater and humidifier are working well, the HPF is amazing! Lauren G, her classes are life changing, it’s true HPF, I get so many benefits when she teaches! Thank you PL for hiring good teachers, and having hot yoga for those of us who come specifically for that! She knows everyone name, makes me feel valued and I ALWAYS leave better than I came!

Thanks for the hot classes!

Very poor customer experience… you’re 1 min late and every single door is locked and there is no one at the front desk. Meanwhile the parking lot outside is full 99%

The hot power fusion class was hard to follow, the instructor’s voice is too soft and the instructor couldn’t hold my hand when I was struggling with the one-leg poses (they’re not allowed to touch their students) leaving me to struggle and trip and fall and make noise only for the instructor to tell me to hush. This studio is only for professionals, not beginner friendly.

I went to check in before my class, and said the name of the class I was taking (CoreRestore) and my name. I was told to go to studio 3. It took a while for the instructor to come in which maybe should have been a warning sign for me but I was stretching and didn't pay much mind to it. Then an instructor came in and said it was a HPF class, but I had come for a CoreRestore. I told her I was in the wrong class, was told that CoreRestore already started, so I left the studio. The instructor stepped out with me and told me that I could not go into the CoreRestore class because they had already started and the door was closed. She said I had the option of taking her class. I felt really disappointed because there is only CoreRestore a week and after a really tough day I had been really looking forward to it, and was not in a place to take a high intensity class. The instructor did not seem sympathetic to my situation and told me "sorry you can take my class but I can't let you in to the other, those are your two options" I paused for a moment to think and she said "I have to go in to my class to teach now". There was not a semblance of authentic apology for telling me the wrong studio number and I'm frankly disappointed with how it was handled. I left the studio very upset, when I had come hoping for the opposite. I understand it is distracting when a student joins late and having a strict policy, but in this circumstance where I was told to go into the wrong studio by an employee, the instructor could have let me into the class I was signed up for and quietly let the CoreRestore instructor know what the situation was. Made my already not great day worse.

Jenn Ra is an amazing Yoga Sculpt instructor! Her class is tough and works the whole body getting you warmed up right away. Really digging into the muscles with repetitions and moves that build on one another. Yet it still feels like the hour flies by because of the fun energy she coveys with her voice. Staying on beat and switching to a new move right as the drop hits feels incredibly powerful - her musicality is top-notch!
Point Loma is my favorite of their dozen or so locations in San Diego. Having multiple studios is important to me for class options and availability. The windows letting natural light in definitely impacts my mood during the workout. If you haven't yet, try the best workout I've found in an hour - yoga, weights, & cardio in heated room - to make you sweat while stretching you out so you can push yourself to the limit without getting injured.

I joined Core Power with the free trial to see if I would like yoga. I hit a wall in my hobbies and decided to branch out and try something I haven’t done before. I first attended a session with Kevin and he was fantastic. He went slow enough so I was able to follow along and provided tips along the way. I felt so comfortable being new to class and was able to pick it up quickly. I took my second class with Allyson and she was great as well. She was helping me with certain moves and provided fantastic feedback. I have been thrilled with my introduction so far to core power and everyone I have met thus far. I will continue with my yoga sessions because I feel welcomed, energized and overall a sense of peace after class.

I’m so glad you sent me this survey! My yoga class this past Sunday with Sarah Moore was absolutely fabulous. I had not taken a yoga class with her in years and it brought back so many great memories and she has such a wonderful style about her yoga practice! Sarah is a wonderful instructor and friend and I’m really glad to know that she’s teaching and managing at Pt Loma. it won’t be long before I’m back for another awesome Sarah‘s C2 class🧘🏼‍♀️💕. Also loved the way she incorporated many sculpt moves but without the impact👌🏻🥰. -Kris

I was just about to finish the 60 classes that I needed to finish my Teacher Training Certificate (total of 200 hours and 2500$) and I guess my payment of 125$ for the last month (even though I only needed 2 weeks to finish my 60), didn't go through and the instructor was trying to get all up in my business about $$ business affairs, not yoga class affairs. I told her I'll deal with my bill if you get my yoga mat that fell behind the locker that I couldn't get out. So, long story short, not only did they cancel my month there, they didn't grant me my yoga certificate. Read the reviews on Better Business Bureau!! There are tons of complaints about them overcharging your card!! They did that to me when I first signed up for teacher training class and if it wasn't for 2500$ and 250$ instead, I would never had noticed. Check your bank card monthly!

I will attend any class taught by Nicole at Point Loma. I love her energy and the fact that she always makes me feel welcome even though yoga is not my strong suit. The Sunday night Core Restore class with live music that she teaches is amazing. And the restorative class really helps me recover from my other workouts during the week. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I love the fact that the classes are offered all day, starting at 6 a.m. through 8 p.m. The schedule is absolutely amazing and I am also a huge fan of having the ability to go to another Core Power studio if I wanted. The staff always greets me with a warm welcoming smile and addresses me by name. The instructors make themselves available after class to answer questions, help with poses, and chat if desired. I’ve only been practicing yoga a short time, but I feel at home at Core Power. It’s a nice warm feeling from beginning to end full of positive energy.

CorePower is actually an awesome place for yoga and I have enjoyed being a member of theirs for years but not anymore. Core power has managed to fire two of the most talented yoga instructors (Tabu & Andre) in a matter of a year. CP Why are you firing your best yoga instructors? These two fitness guru's help your member's stay in shape & feel better about themselves in a time where stress relieve is more necessary than ever before. I am baffled about this decision you made & why you decided to let go of instructors that bring so much joy to peoples life. A few problems here and there does not outweigh the exponential good these two made to so many peoples lives. CP loses in the end but its still irritating you guys are so careless.

This is where I go to reset. I have met so many wonderful people here and continue to do so. I love the community and the quality of teachers. I began taking classes when I had horrible injuries (five injured discs) and seven years later I am now a certified teacher. I did the CP teacher training last year to further my practice.
I’m always dragging someone to yoga with me!

I have so enjoyed my yoga classes at The Point Loma Studio. This studio offers such a wide variety of classes and the fact that it has three Studios allows me too deep in my practice and take back-to-back classes.
