Dropped in for a class. I probably went with high expectations but came out pretty disappointed. There were too many people cramped up in a small room doing yoga at 95 deg F. It was such a hot and sweaty mess, and also unhygienic ! The Trainer was just reading the instructions from his phone in the back corner of the room, hardly visible, and going super fast without being very clear and audible, and no attention on how people are performing. He did not even give any demo of the different moves, and I was left very confused, forced to just follow people around me without any proper technique. Just ZERO engagement and interaction with the class!! After some time, I just gave up and couldn't wait for the class to be over!! Also probably picked up some germs from this class, as I started developing flu symptoms right from the next day and was sick for more than a week!!

Had a 4.15 class that I booked through ClassPass. There was no indication or messaging anywhere when I booked the class to show up a whole 15 minutes before class starts. If that’s the time you need to show up then surely that should be the start time?! At 4.15 the doors lock and no one is behind reception to assist you with any questions. Eventually someone appeared and I was told to just leave. Now I have to pay a late fee. Really wanted to love this place, so disappointed on every level. You lost a potential member!

This corepower is excellent!! My friends and I accidentally came to the wrong corepower (we had made an appointment for a different corepower) and they were able to accommodate us with no extra charge! Really the service was excellent and the slow flow was great. Although don't love the core excercises during the middle of the flow but I generally enjoy a more traditional yoga practice. Excellent!!

Predatory service. I signed up last year for a limited time special and was assured if I didn't sign up for recurring payment I wouldn't be automatically billed. I should have checked sooner, because they lied and I was. CorePower has stolen a LOT of money from me. Just be very careful signing up for any services here, clearly their business model involves lying and theft.

C1 on Saturdays at noon is a wonderful way to get some "me" time in just an hour. Total relaxation with the right amount of movement and heat/sweat. Welcoming environment with clear instruction, great for those like me getting back into their practice. Will def come back week after week. Bonus: street parking right in front on Broadway

I was thrilled with my first-time experience here! Pauline's Sculpt class was AMAZING! I came back just 12 hours later! I can't wait to come back!

This is one of my favorite studios due to the teachers, classes, and community. You feel like it is your home studio with their welcoming nature and classes that include everyone from beginners to experts. I am very grateful they stayed open consistently during Covid and followed all the right procedures to keep us safe. I will keep my membership for a lifetime and have recommended over 8+ friends since I started.

People here are lovely, facilities seem clean, parent company is scammy. I decided during the free trial period that hot yoga is not for me and I have been trying to cancel my membership for about an hour. The person at the desk told me I'd be able to contact her directly to cancel it before the 2-week period was up, but I've scoured all the emails I received and it seems like there's no way to contact this branch directly. Web chat and calling both regional and national numbers gets me nowhere.

Update: Increasing to 2 stars because I finally found where I could cancel the membership through the online portal, but it seems intentionally obfuscated. Poor form!

My daughter and I recently decided that we wanted to check out the Rockridge location of CorePower, so we signed up for a class using their portal. When I approached the counter to pay for a single class for my daughter and I ($18 each), the instructor Christina said that it would be $1 each for each of us for two weeks. That was it. No, "after two weeks your card will be charged an additional $199 for each of you." It wasn't until I checked my bank account and noticed two charges from CorePower for $199 that I realized she signed us up for some type of membership. I searched my email and found a receipt in the spam folder for an altogether different amount. Now, instead of relieving our stress with exercise, I’m spending my precious time and energy writing this review and contacting the company and my credit card company to reconcile charges. The classes were just okay in comparison what I’ve experienced in other yoga/exercise studios, and we were considering giving them another try but after this scammy experience, we will not be going back.

This studio was supposed to open months ago but the date keeps changing. The opening date has changed at least five times, and often the change occurs online 1-2 days before the studio is supposed to open. So you might find out when you plan on going to the studio the next morning. Frustrating since I signed up for black tag a few months ago, and now I'm driving up to the Berkeley studios to practice which is a bit of a drive. Hoping the studio opens soon, definitely looking forward to it!

Update... their Jan 15th opening date just changed to Jan 23rd. The online change happened on Jan 14th. Womp, womp.
