I love the heated classes here! Studio is clean with convenient lockers/showers. Taking classes regularly has improved my flexibility and strength. Very appreciative of CPY!

If you are a fitness yoga enthusiast don't waste your time or money. Classes are mediocre at best not challenging or interesting at all. Core power has gone way down hill. Teachers aren't great at all and seem inexperienced. Cookie cutter classes. Not real yoga teachers in my opinion. Expensive and boring

The first yoga session at CPY was okay. Not my type of yoga but I went for it. Heated room, weights and jumps itβs different but I enjoyed it. Very limited space. Calories burnt and good soreness thanks for the freebie!

Having been a member of CorePower years ago and now returning, I'm disappointed at some of their corporate decisions...
While no fault to the employees, CorePower could do a better job at choosing optimal locations for their studios - they make enough in annual profits to do so, seeing as their 10+ years old. This location is small, has a single studio, a tiny singular entrance hallway causing customers to bottleneck at every entrance/exit and only 2 single person bathrooms/showers. It's frustrating to pay increasing membership fees and receive less in return.
The studio itself is located next to a busy restaurant where you can hear employees cough, sneeze, laugh and move about next door through the wall! At least make the studio soundproof for your customers.
Why do members have to pay for towel rentals? It's costs nothing to cancel but they charge a $15 fee - why can't those funds be allocated towards FREE TOWEL + MAT use for members?? I'm disappointed in their cheap "free products" located in the bathroom ... that being said, I do enjoy the classes and various instructors I've encountered. Applause to them for sure ππ½ ππ½

I like that they have C2 classes as late as 8pm. The first thing I checked when I was looking for a yoga studio was the class schedule. This is helpful for people like me who canβt make it to 5/6 pm classes sometimes. Iβve been doing my practice at home on and off but itβs nice to be in a yoga studio because it gets lonely working from home and doing yoga by yourself at home. Studio is clean, there are shower stalls for those who need it. Padlocks for lockers are available.
Other thing is I havenβt seen anyone do adjustments which I wish they would so we (or I) know if thereβs anything I need to correct.

Keeps me going for so many years. It is the one part of the day that is to myself. I love all the mix of classes and seeing the breadth of experience that the teachers bring :) I love the little pop-ups and opportunities to try new things as well. Shout out to Jackie for pushing me the extra mile always, to Brianna for the confidence and calm in every class, and Ashley & Marissa are great too. I hate the parking situation at San Mateo location, but that's my only complaint.

The fact that you require a vaccine to do YOGA is absurd. I would never want to visit a studio like that, I can't imagine the mentality of the staff.

Everyone at the studio that I have met thus far is very friendly. I have especially enjoyed taking Kelley B's Yoga Sculpt class. She makes it easy for anyone to participate regardless of your level of experience.

I love CPY, it's my happy place.I was a bit worried about coming back to the studio in a Pandemic. I needn't have worried. The teachers are so conscientious following the safety protocols, I feel cared for and safe.Such a good workout for mind and body.Thank you CPY!

Different levels for different skill levels. You definitely sweat and the instructors are all super nice. I do wish you didn't have to rent towels.

I got scabies from this Yoga studio. Teachers were great but the yoga mats smelled like body odor and people that went here were not sanitizing themselves and the staff didn't take care of me when I raised my concern.

I know what I'm getting, can go to almost any teacher and have a great experience, there are multiple class times that make last minute urges to do yoga workable without too much planning ahead, and while there is no parking lot for this studio, I am usually able to find parking within a reasonable time before class making for an all around pleasant experience.

I was looking for a Yoga studio and found this one in a great location. Even better- you get a free week of classes when you first register! I went every day except the weekend. From the moment I walked in, there were smiles and welcoming attitudes. No one sales pitched, just set me up for my first class. The one I chose happened to be a great fit for me, and taught by the Assistant Manager, who is awesome. The facility is small but nice and well maintained. Some classes were busier than others but there was always room, and a positive spirit between yogis and staff. Only once throughout my free week did someone ask me if I'd considered membership yet. And, the staff got to know my name - even following up on an audition I had over the weekend. To me, that goes above and beyond. In my- a young yogi's opinion, the content alone is worth paying for class, there are more than enough class times, the location is great (plus parking isn't bad and free after 6pm), and the staff is genuine. I've already started considering who I can share this with.. because I'll be back ;]

This studio deserves 5 stars due to the outstanding consistency of practice. The instructors are phenomenal, and the joy and passion in which the classes are delivered make coming here a happy and relaxing part of my week and has increased my sense of overall well-being. I typically take their C2 classes, and I have only taken the Yoga Sculpt once or twice due to the overwhelming popularity (tough to get in to the class if you don't arrive early). The one other thing I would mention is the cleanliness of the studio makes it easy to relax and focus on yoga. I grew up wrestling, so I know what humid, sweaty rooms typically smell like, and Core Power's commitment to keeping the facilities clean and smelling fresh is a huge reason that I will come back to this studio again and again. Highly recommend this studio

I really like the lay out of the studio space, I like how clean it is. I love the teacher Cat and my yoga flow teacher (5:30pm - 6:30pm) class was absolutely wonderful. I love the clothing selection and the facility is easy to find and access. I like that the classes are one hour long. I've been doing yoga for almost half my life, and I finally convinced my husband to come along and he enjoyed it too! Our joint/muscle pain has substantially subsided thanks to yoga!

Nice and clean studio. I like it due to a lot of schedules to fit my late working hours. I was concern the parking in San Mateo down town. But so far not as bad as I guess.
