Won’t forget the time Annalise told me I need to move my mat away from the wall and door to say, “unless you want me stepping on your face” and that done it for me. I won’t sign up to this studio for complete rudeness right when class was about to begin. Having me pick up my mat and scramble to look for a new place and embarrass me.

This studio has an extremely strict policy — even if you are 1 minute late, they will lock you out. There aren’t many parking options nearby, and traffic around Santa Clara Square is notoriously bad. Even if you arrive early, it’s stressful.
Today was game day, so I left 30 minutes early for a drive that usually takes me 10. Despite my effort, I ended up just 5 minutes late (as the police just closed the line. And I am sure I am five minutes late as I keep watching clock while I am running to the studio.) The class had only just started, and I could clearly see an open spot right in front of the door. Instead of showing any understanding, the front desk spent over 10 minutes enforcing their “lock-out” rule.
It felt like they cared more about blocking people than about members’ efforts. They showed zero flexibility or empathy for circumstances beyond our control.
To make things even worse, they won’t even allow you to sit quietly outside the classroom for a few minutes just to breathe, calm down, and make sure you can drive away safely. Instead of kindness, you’re met with cold rules. It’s shocking and honestly heartbreaking: this is supposed to be a yoga studio, a space for peace and compassion. Instead, I walked away feeling dismissed and unwelcome. There was no empathy, no understanding, and no gratitude for the effort people make to show up.
Avoid this place unless you’re willing to risk being turned away despite your best efforts.

I don’t know what Tiffany went through today, but she definitely shared her bad energy and microaggression with the class. She only demonstrated standing poses that require zero effort and she spoke to my face that I won’t be allowed to come back if I dare stepping out while opening the door throughout the class. There were no wipes to clean our mats or to sanitize equipments. Will never come back again. Worst hot yoga experience ever. Hot 8 and Yoga 6 are way better at least they care about their customers

Disappointed with these classes, extremely packed, hard to hear instructions over meaningless music, pop songs, no attention to breath, inner work or shavasana. One of the instructors said yoga is beyond just physical poses and made us do trataka for 3 mins, without even getting the basics of tratak right! They perpetuate the myth that shavasana is not important and give max 5 mins to it, when that’s the essence of yoga.

If you are into pushing yourself into poses and shapes and getting physically flexible and strong, this place is for you. If you know that yoga is beyond just that, it is beyond doing tough poses to extremely loud western music, then you will be highly disappointed.

Please read this: even you are late for 1min, they just lock you out. This place doesn’t have too many parking lots around. Even you arrive early, say 10mins. Imagine it is near Santa Clara square, the traffic is like very very bad. It is very possible that you are gonna be locked outside by them.
I recommend you arrive 15min earlier, but someone may think “oh, I’m too busy with my work, I don’t wanna spend 15min waiting there” Bingo, I agree with you.

The air vents inside the studio are packed with dust which is blowing right into my face. It is clear they are long overdue for duct cleaning/HVAC maintanence. This is supposed to be a hot yoga studio but the heating system is only working 50% of the time.

Amazing people, amazing coaches and if you follow it regularly amazing results. My photos attached from before and after.
CorePower Winchester, want to let you know "I feel the positive energy." The instructors are fantastic and cool—super encouraging, and they somehow know exactly when to push you and when to let you breathe.
Also, shoutout to the amazing community here—it's such a welcoming vibe, no matter your level. At times I am just looking for a place to stretch, sweat, and at times even surprise yourself. Go

I’m 3min late. Door is locked. No one will open the door for you. I end up finishing my own YouTube workout outside their gate. I think the instructor saw me. But I guess she wouldn’t care to address me who is late and supposed to be punished.
If you have a tight daily schedule, you probably need to consider another studio.
Overall, great customer experience and feel loved : )

I went to several classes this week at santa clara square studio and noticed the yoga teachers lack spatial awareness, some worse than others. Today's class was pretty packed and the instructor kept meandering through the cramped space every minute of the class which is extremely disruptive. She was either walking right in front of me or was hoping behind my mat as she paced around the studio without any purpose. I was unable to do my chatarangas because her feet were right by my face most of the class and she blocked my view of the mirror as she kept pacing through the class like a bumble bee. A fellow yogi who was doing a chataranga kicked her accidently in the face but she still did not get the message that she is way to close to everyone and giving no one space to actually focus on their postures. I was so disgusted and left the class early.

Very poor place to practice yoga. Difficult to park, non friendly personal, lockers with no locks given -wow, messy bathrooms, untidy yoga room, no spots left in the practice room although I arrived 10 minutes before the class. What else do you need not to do yoga again? Or, that's right, high prices. They have it, too.

I have attended the classes here for 3 months. The instructors are nice, front desk is clean, class is not as intense as I like but is ok. I think their biggest problem is hygiene. The classes are usually overcrowded and heated, people sweat and thus the floor is wet here and there after class. I need to be cautious to not step on other's sweat paddle when walk out. Classrooms smell pretty bad (smells like sweat and armpit), and the floor is dirty and sticky. It's easy to be touched by other sweaty people during the class due to everyone is so close to each other. The yoga blocks feel very dirty too (also smells bad). They can do a better job at cleaning.

I have attended a couple of classes at this studio. There are few issues I have seen mostly to do with their policies. Even with the kind of membership fees they have, they don’t provide complimentary yoga mats for the class, they will charge for each use. I feel that’s stingy, I have been to few different yoga studios in Bay Area ( including Movement gym which has some great yoga classes) which provide these basic things and clean the used ones.
Practicing yoga for a few years, I feel they have extremely westernized version of yoga, where they focus much less on the breathing component. They are fine classes for general fitness but it’s not the version of yoga for me.

I am practicing yoga in this studio for past two years and definitely observed improvement in my strength and flexibility. Yoga instructors are passionate and knowledgeable yogis. Though I practice mainly hot core power 2, there are other variations of yoga practice as well, which are worth to explore. As it is located in Santa Clara Square , evening it’s hard to find parking. I missed couple of yoga sessions but Cynthia and Valeria were kind enough to help me enroll in the very next session in the evening so that I would not be charged.Hence coming early in the evenings is recommended to avoid these type of incidents. Otherwise I will definitely recommend this yoga center to build strength and resilience to all yoga enthusiasts.

You MUST be on time if you wanna join the class. They even don’t allow you to join the class even TWO minutes late. My baby just cried before I left my home. So I came just 2 minutes late but the guy at front desk just locked the door and doesn’t allow me to come. And she is so RUDE. If she is friendly to others, then she may just biased towards ASIAN.

It's the worst experience I've ever had in my entire yoga practice!!! I spent 30 minutes trying to find a parking place. The front desk there had absolutely no sympathy of my situation. I wasted one hour on the road. I was locked out of the door and they told me there is no way to mitigate the situation. NEVER GONNA TRY THIS PLACE AGAIN.

It happened multiple times when I arrived on time and they locked the door earlier. The instructor was still at the desk and noticed a group of more than 5 people who arrived either right on time or slightly late because of the limited parking space in this plaza, but she ignored us saying “I can’t let you in” and came back to speak to someone laughing at us who didn’t arrive 10-15 in advance. If you don’t let people in 10th before the class starts, why putting the banner saying “we’re open?!”.

This studio is pathetic. They close their doors at sharp time. Not even a minute late. I reached at 5.25 and it took me 5 mins to find a spot. I arrived 5.31 for a for a 5.30 class and the doors were shut. I can’t believe it.

Read 1-star review if you don’t wanna ruin you mood. These reviews are true.
If you booked the session through ClassPass and thought you would get some help from them, NO. You will get locked out, wasting your time, and getting penalty fee from ClassPass.

There is no parking spots around 6pm at all. I arrived 10 minutes early and was still late for 10 minutes. The store manager was not helping. She asked me to contact customer support to get my credit back and would not even provide me the phone number. Also the phone number on their website is not even reachable. Ridiculous.

After trying a few different Yoga studios in the San Jose area I was so happy to find CorePower and specifically the Santa Clara location! I have now been a member for a few months and can say that this is definitely the best Yoga spot! The instructors are extremely kind and welcoming and very professional.
The location itself is always clean and has great parking and is easy to find. I cant recommend the instructors at CorePower enough, they are amazing!
Thank you!

I’ve taken multiple classes here and would’ve given a 5 star if it’s not for Cynthia. I left my phone in the car and asked if I could go get it, but it was 1 min before class starts and they lock the door during class. She wouldn’t leave the door for me if I went. That’s ok if she put if nicely, but she was rude. I drive a Tesla and it doesn’t lock if my phone is in the car. She won’t even let me explain why I wanted to get my phone, interrupting me in the middle of my talking, very rude and unpleasant. What a great way to help start the day at 6 am. Maybe she’s racist towards Asian, she doesn’t talk that way to other non Asians. Her class was less fun. She doesn’t do the exercise like the other teachers do, only talked and did minimum demonstration. I for sure won’t go to her class again. If this was my first class with CorePower I’m probably never coming back again.

This was my second class being back in practice since the Pandemic. My experience at the Santa Clara location with Genevieve Sc as the instructor was absolutely excellent! I was pre-screened and so is the person that came after me. Genevieve gave us instructions on what to do in the studio clearly, reminding all of us to keep our masks on at all times. The studio at Santa Clara was sparkly clean, neat and tidy. The mirrors were wiped down, there was availability of hand soap and sanitizers. The bathroom was very clean. I felt safe and satisfied in this studio. The class has left me feeling good about my practice and stronger than I was when I walked in. Very happy with this studio & instructor!

Tried to go the the 6:15 pm yoga class TWO times, and both times could not find a single parking space after circling around for 20+ minutes. The parking at this location is horrendous at peak times, and deserves to be mentioned because it really negatively impacted my experience of CorePower. Also, a fair warning that you'll be completely locked out of the class for arriving late.

Let me preface this by saying I’ve been a CorePower member for 8+ years and have had pleasant experiences at just about every studio, except this one. Myself and 3 girls all sprinting to make the 7pm HPF class tonight, clock just hit 7:01pm - seconds late as a result of ZERO parking at this facility. There was a woman at the desk - dyed blonde hair, who point blank looked at me and 3 other girls and rudely shook her head no and then proceeded to point blank ignore us / laugh and not come to speak with members who are paying $199/month to be able to take classes. She was clearly in a rush to clock out (Friday evening) and couldn’t be bothered to be kind / thoughtful - the class had not even started ... she waited until myself and the 3 girls turned around to leave, making sure not to let us in. As a methodically punctual person, who is respectful of people’s time and space I am baffled how/why this was the behavior several of us encountered tonight. I will be contacting corporate and the frachinse owner at this location.

This CorePower has 3 practice rooms so it can offer numerous classes each day. I had attended a Made To Fly workshop with a friend who was a member there. The 90-minute workshop was taught by Brit, the studio manager. Brit explained the alignment of each posture well and she had someone else helping out with hands on assists, so even though there were lots of folks at the workshop, you still got some attention. When you look up at the ceiling, the heating grates are covered and the sound system is quite good (I think it's a relatively newer building) so in terms of facilities, it reminded me of a Barry's Bootcamp or SoulCycle in terms of facilities (showers, shampoo, etc.) although I do think you have to bring your own towel or rent one for $3.
Pros
1.) Ample parking, great location next to a giant Whole Foods (I'm always hungry after working out,) and the studio space itself plus the amenities are quite nice.
2.) Lots of classes and your first week is free--the CorePower membership also gets you into other CorePower studios around the country
Cons
1.) Most CorePower instructors are pretty junior in their yoga practice. While Brit was a great teacher, I could also see that she was still relatively new at practicing yoga too. It was an inversion class so Brit showed some fun inverted transitions and poses, but other workshops I have been to featured instructors who were much more grounded in their practice (e.g. 20+ years of practice).

This is a great studio. The South Bay doesn't have many good yoga studios. They're mostly just a store with glass windows and sweat in the air. Not here! The changer for s have showers and shampoo/body wash. They do mat and towel rentals. They have lockets and give you locks. Several classes throughout the day and good ones too. Only downside is that it's a little pricy but I'm guessing that goes with the rent they have to pay for the place.

Literally late for 30secs(super hard to find a parking lot around noon). The coach and staffs inside saw us (3 people waiting outside) but insist not opening the door. Not even opening the door explaining why we’re not permitted to come in!! I understand CorePower Yoga can have whatever late policy they want but I would appreciate I was informed about that when I registered. SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!!
Change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Classes are super awesome. I always view yoga studio not only as a place for my practice but for mental healing. However, CorePower Yoga ruins my mood today.

The Santa Clara Square Core Power Yoga is very special to my fiance and I. This very core power yoga was where I proposed! I first contacted the manager, Elisabeth, by email, and asked if this was something that they would accommodate. Her and the instructor, Danielle, did absolutely everything they could to help me put the proposal together. I informed them of what I envisioned and they made it even better than my fiance and I could have ever imagined. They thought of details such lighting to theme and even music that allowed the proposal to be as perfect as it was. The teachers, the support and the community creates an amazing place. On top of everything, this facility is always clean. The teachers are very supportive and very knowledgeable. I bring all of my friends to this facility and will continue to spread the good word.

I'm addicted to Corepower Yoga. I've tried several yoga studios, but CPY is the first one I've ever committed a membership to. And I have no regrets! The teachers are very welcoming, approachable, and helpful. I enjoy every class taught by Elizabeth, AJ, Sammy, Grace, and Erica. Some amenities available include shower stalls, lockers, refillable water station, mat/towel rental, and yoga apparel, accessories, and gears to buy. What's also great about CPY is the variety of classes they offer that vary in level of yoga experience, but everyone is welcome. Give it a try because a free week trial is available. :)
