I’ve been to CorePower studios all over the country and around LA, this place stands out in terms of quality instructors. Rachel, Kristy and Natalie are incredibly talented, they bring a mix of sequence, music and rhythm to every class, every single time. I can’t recommend them enough.

The studio is right by the beach in the best city in the world. What more could you ask for. Love this studio.

I was a loyal CorePower Yoga member for nearly 10 years, attending well over 100 classes and referring friends along the way. I showed up early, followed studio etiquette, and was always respectful to staff and fellow students. That's why I was shocked to receive a call from a staff member accusing me of THEFT--months after I'd attended a class at this studio.

The accusation? That I took retail items into the locker room and left empty hangers behind. I never touched any merchandise, and no one said a word to me at the time. I asked if any evidence had been reviewed--such as camera footage--but was told that "could not be disclosed." I then wrote a calm, detailed letter to CorePower's corporate office explaining the situation and asking for a proper review.

Their response? A brief message stating I was permanently BANNED from all locations and that their "dismissal decisions are final." No explanation. No transparency. No accountability. Just silence.

I'm not someone who creates drama. I have no reason to steal, no history of misconduct, and I take pride in being an honest, good person. What's most hurtful is how easily a long-standing, respectful member can be discarded without evidence or basic due process.

I believe the yoga community deserves to know how this company treats its members behind the scenes. Yoga is supposed to be rooted in truth, compassion, and awareness. Sadly, that's not what I experienced here.

I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years --and as someone who has always valued the integrity and mindfulness that yoga is meant to promote--I never imagined I'd be writing a review like this.

The best CorePower studio in the city. Every instructor whose class I attend (4-5 times a week; different teachers) is a consummate professional. It’s a clean and welcoming environment, with classes scheduled at convenient times for early birds (like myself), anyone who wishes to flow throughout the day, after work, weekends— you name it!

I went to my Hot Yoga class that the instructor was Grace . I didnt had a great experience for my first time going to this class. The instructor kept barking orders. Not showing me how to do any yoga moves. As I was clueless since it was my very first time I felt very uncomfortable. She stayed on the wall with her arms crossed barking orders at everyone that was in class. I was expecting for the instructor to teach me something at least since again it was my first time. How can someone show up for a second time if the first time was a bad experience?

Love this studio. The older CPY studios (Wilshire and Westwood) are showing their age - they both need a remodel. Santa Monica is clean, bright and has excellent instructors - shoutout to Bylle and Allison!

Lovely stuff and beautiful space :)

I really enjoyed my yoga class with Bianca- she is one of the most inspiring and talented yoga teacher I have met. Her class was everything- a little bit challenging, very relaxing and extremely calming for the mind. I will definitely keep joining her classes whenever I will be back in Santa Monica.
Thank you so much for all the sunshine during the class and please keep up your magic 🌞🙏

all of the instructors that teach here (I have had 4-5 different instructors) are all very young girls that have very little to no experience with yoga training. Therefore, the quality is quite subpar, definitely not worth the money it costs. This studio has been a disappointment for me.

My very first time I am doing Hot Yoga. I've tried many fitness studios; CrossFit, pilates, Yoga, Barry's Bootcamp, circuit training, beach workout, etc. Hot Yoga is a lot more challenging than any other workout I've done. The heat in the room makes your body sweat right away, and you burn so many calories.
ProTip: Set up your mat near the door; it makes the heat a little more bearable.

The studio is clean and aesthetic, but I wish their customer service improved. They run a Facebook ad advertising a free trial.
From just looking at the ad, it needed to be clarified if the free week starts on the same day you signed up or later when you start coming.
When I arrived at the studio the first time, they said my free week is expired, but I explained Ive never been there before and that this was my first time. I had to wait until after the session to speak to the manager to sort it out.

They DO NOT provide a mat or towel. You can bring your own or rent it from them; it's $2 to rent a towel and $8 to rent a Yoga mat.
The women's bathroom has showers, but they do not offer bath towels. Bring your own if you plan to get ready to work after the workout.

If you are looking for a fitness studio where you can also build a community, it isn't the right place. People don't talk to each other here, they keep to themselves, and some are snobby; it's LA, so I shouldn't be surprised. People here come to work out and leave; they are not here to root for you in any way. I understand that some people prefer it that way, and that's ok; to each his own.

My favorite instructors were Janelle and Skylar. They lead a great flow!

The Santa Monica CorePower studio is the soo good! Easy, free parking across the street for the first 90 minutes, the facilities are spacious and clean. Plus, all the instructors are great. Try a class with Jade she’s the best!

Superb location on 2nd Street close to the parking garage, Santa Monica pier, and Santa Monica train stop.

This studio is on the smaller side with one yoga studio. It is a
Newer studio with infrared light technology.

I enjoyed a sculpt class here and enjoyed it. The facilities are clean and well taken care of.

I like that there is always a
Security guard outside for safety. I usually do morning classes and feel safe knowing that there is a guard right outside the door.

They made my child cry at peddle on the pier. A chapstick is not even a $1 for god sakes.
