Iβve been attending the 3 Valley location yoga studios for over 3 years and truly appreciate the instructors, community, and overall vibe. One of the main reasons I initially joined was the flexibility and variety in the class schedule. However, Iβve noticed a consistent gap in the mid-day scheduleβmost classes end around noon and donβt pick up again until after 3pm.
It would be incredibly helpful to add more mid-day classes, specifically around 1:00pm, 1:30pm, or at least one 2:00pm class. This time frame would be ideal for those of us with flexible schedules or who work non-traditional hours. All three Valley locations seem to have this same gap, so adding even one or two classes during that window could really make a difference.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion!

Took an incredible sculpt class here one evening. One star off because of parking primarily. My class was after dark, and I parked underground in the structure that felt very empty (and thus unsafe to me). It was all fine but still had to pay $1.50 after parking was validated, and the card reader didnβt work for me on 2 separate cards, the βhelpβ button on the gate went to voicemail, so I felt very stuck for 15-20min trying to leave the parking structure. But some act of God the reader finally worked and I could go home. I would come back to this studio, but probably just do street parking to avoid this situation again. Posting so other people are aware! Also it would be nice to have free towel service as CorePower in other locations does.

Would 1000% recommend if you're considering starting your practice here. Been going to this studio for 4+ years and love it. The Cahuenga location is on a large street with easy parking, and it feels very safe. The instructors are all wonderful. I've taken a range of classes here β Trishta (Hot Power Fusion) and Sofia (Sculpt) were highlights.

This is a really great studio. Strange place, and suboptimal parking, but the yoga here is consistently better than other places include other CPY studios.

My review is only based on their website and ability to contact anyone to ask questions. I tried to reserve a class online as the studio is 20 minutes away and I didnβt want to drive all the way there to only be turned away because the class was full. Every class my girlfriend and I go to accept reservations online. So i tried to call someone and the call was routed to Denver and the office was closed. Why would I want to talk to someone in Denver about classes in California? And why would your office be closed on Sundayβs if you have classes going on? What if I forgot something at the studio or needed an answer right away like today? Itβs 2018 not 1990. Very bad customer service in my opinion.

Alexis is awesome! Her sculpt classes are creative and multifaceted. When working really hard, itβs great to have a fun-loving teacher who knows how to keep you moving. The high intensity and empowered instruction also gives your mind a chance to relax as you listen to Alexis and literally go with the flow.

When I'm feeling tense and stressed I can always count on a class here to relieve all of that. Everyone's really friendly and it doesn't matter how experienced a yogi you are as there is a class for every level. Yoga Sculpt is one of my faves and is a great workout.

Best hot yoga for me personally. I have to sweat but not pass out at the same time. Instructors are really nice, it's a good cardio flow, never boring, and I always walk away leaner and feeling great! Love love love

After trying Bikram Yoga, I wanted to try Core power yoga since I enjoy ab and core work out. My first time I experience -Friendly staff, great core ab work out with C2 before or after work, showers included, parking is easy but have to pay about $1-3 depending how long you stay, and awesome feeling after you leave. :) I love this place. It really relaxes me and give me energy throughout the day. Classroom size are a lot better in the mornings than in the evenings! Wish there was a location in Pasadena! Open one up! I'd be there.

I am a yoga lover and dedicated to the practice. I do love core power yoga in general. I think they have found a way to really bridge the craving that californian's have for excercise and still infuse some of the basic yoga principles. BUT - there are some teachers at core power yoga that are "wanna" be yogis. I realize they encourage EVERYBODY to take teacher training courses there - but i am hoping that core power yoga encourage more yoga philosophies and principles in their teachers. I was very very offended by a teacher there whose choice of music was just too loud. I realize some teachers are in the mood to play loud pop, rap or hip hop music - but if the music is too loud and an individual can't hear their own breathe then it is not yoga - not once did this teacher TELL THE CLASS TO FOCUS ON THE BREATH. Part of yoga is group vibration and meditation and a collective conciousnesss through the breath. I think some people in California just need a job and go for becomiing a yoga teacher. My advice to the CORE POWER YOGA COMPANY is to remember that it is yoga you are teaching - it is not a gym......I AM NOT LOOKING TO GO TO CORE POWER YOGA to get the feeling of a gym. I was very offended by my teacher who looked at me as if I didn't know what i was talking about - she actually suggested i wear earplugs to my class. In my opinion that teacher should be dismissed by CORE POWER YOGA. SHE IS OBVIOUSLY not a true yogi. In terms of music selection - there is all kinds of evidence that there are certain tones in music that trigger deeper meditation and help with certain glands - specifically the third eye. I am not saying every teacher at core power yoga should always play that type of music - but i think with the teachers training course there must be more emphasis on THE IMPORTANCE OF WHAT KIND OF MUSIC TO PLAY in the yoga class. I personally dont' like music when i do yoga - but if a teacher is going to play it please pick the music wisely.
