This particular YMCA offers an outdoor pool, which is a welcome treat after an hour or more of working out and a shower. However, the pool is only open for the summer season, I believe. the premises are kept clean , for a gym, and the staff is friendly. There are plenty of group classes available to members.

Good facilities and gym equipment. The pool is a bit small and there were people wading in the swimming lane and the life guards didn't care to ask them to move to the wading area. I had to share a lane with another swimmer, a nice fellow; but the lanes are very narrow. It was a good swimm. But, it could have been better.

Zero stars . We were there for a make up swim class. The lifeguard was rude and yelling at older people and children for no good reason. She scared and upset my kids

The Crescenta Valley Family YMCA is indeed a very versatile gym! They have tons of activities in this gym - basketball, swimming, ping pong, childcare, yoga, and many more. I love that the people here would recommend bringing children and to do workout and exercises together as a family. The downside in this gym is it is a bit expensive so I did not register for a membership yet, I can't afford it yet. All in all, this gym is wonderful and I highly recommend this to everyone.

I was a member here for a year and a half. Time after time it was clear upper management didn't care what happened at this location, and didn't prepare on site leads for how to problem solve while providing hospitality and customer service. I understand the y is community based organization run by young adults, but when upper management hears over and over again that this is no order, staff are talking and horsing around while classes are happening, and spaces are double booked and staff are rude when this happens because leadership hasn't given them direction it is time to take your family membership else were... the out door pool isn't worth the frustration I feel leaving the gym. The child watch staff is amazing, Kathy the water aerobics instructor is top notch, and Kristina one of the life guards is a gem, but everything else makes you feel crazy. If you ask a question the answer is always check the website. Then you show them the website doesn't have the information but there is no effort to find the answer. I could go on, but I will spare you. P.S. you can't cancel your membership via the website or app you have to email someone who doesn't respond to you so make sure you watch your credit card statement to make sure they stop charging you.

One of the greatest gyms on the planet. A gym that serves all of us, single people, older people, families, kids. The most up to date equipment that's ever existed - equipment that covers the latest. All a tribute to your great CEO, Tyler Wright, and a great staff. In N. Glendale there's only one gym - the YMCA - and there are three of them.

I think La cresenta YMCA is the best, between la cañada ymca & Tujunga ymca, they are remodeling everything and its looking awsome 💪.

I've been a member at FAC for 18 years and I love it. They have a helpful staff, all the equipment that you could ask for, and the club isn't so busy that it's a hassle to try and get your workout done. I'm just sorry that there is no way to give it more than 5 stars.

Pretty bad! I cancelled my membership as of July 31, 2014 because I was not using it that much and received what I call a "pearl", an invoice for $117.00, the month of August, September and a late charge!
Luckily, I not only stopped at the club to cancel my membership (which was done right away because even on the 31st of July I could not get in with my card), but I had asked my bank to stop the automatic withdrawal.
I don't know how long I will receive invoices from this company in Colorado named ASF Payment Solutions, but at least there are no withdrawals from my bank account. The Athlete Club cannot even find a collection agency in Los Angeles!!!
