Super disrespectful and im super disappointed that i left a good deal at other gym to check this place out,
As a customer i walked in the guy standing on pc not even greeted me he pointed me to main gym and the coach in middle of class he couldn't take care of me and asked the guy behind the pc to help he said tell him to come back at 1pm if he wants!!
Excuse me whats that attitude from? I dont have all the time in this world for your personality and attitude to wait 40 minutes to help me to sign and train in your gym !! Im totally disgusted and disappointed about my visit and i feel sorry for anyone who is working and training at this gym with this people. Shame shame.

Loved training here during my stay in Costa Mesa. I did a total of 25 classes over a period of 6 weeks.
I am a beginner so I appreciate the extra time the coaches took with me. Everyone was super nice and friendly, even the booking platform. Plus, they have a great variety of equipment and they USE IT!
Super dinamic, fun and adjustable work outs. Will definitely be back when I visit.

Their 6 week free program is a big SCAM!!! They would only let you take part in the 6 week program if you make a deposit of $600. Then for whatever reason if you do not want to continue or if you can't continue they will NEVER return the deposit back. I paid $600 for 3 classes. I was a student and really needed that money, but Nathan's response was always that we cannot return the deposit back. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Coach Max is one of a kind. I've never met a trainer with such genuine care, attention to detail, and depth of knowledge across, weight training, diet, flexibility, recovery, mental toughness...every facet you could want in a coach. I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. 10 stars.

Too much requirements having to call. Gym may be nice including ice baths; however, the communication is not on the same page. I wish they can improve. I was bringing a loved one with me. I would have doubts coming here. Just honestly saying from my experience.

I dropped in at CFCM while visiting family & loved it! The staff was very friendly & the facility is amazing. Coach Max clearly has a lot of knowledge on how to properly warm-up muscle groups and CF in general. They also have pull-up bars I can reach with a plate or box!!

Spacious, super organized with each athlete having their own lane, well known for producing top athletes that go to the Crossfit games.
I had lots of crossfit boxes to choose from within 5 miles of Newport Beach, CA. The Crossfit Masters Community in Facebook recommended this one.
I went on a Thursday morning as a drop in from CrossFit Fort Lauderdale for $20. It was a very good active recovery workout with 30 minutes of calisthenics then 40 minutes of mobility WOD. They told me that usually the workouts are not over an hour, but I will never complain about a longer workout.
Highly recommend this box if you are serous about competing or if you are a crossfitter that wants to drop in.
You DO NOT need to call in advance to work out (like some other reviewer said).
I did send a message to them on Facebook and they made sure I have already experience with CrossFit.

Went without calling (I arrived to CA late at night) and was welcomed. Was asked a few questions and signed a waver then joined a class minutes after. One of the best Crossfit boxes I've ever been to. Coaches were attentive, it was clean and workout were challenging. Athletes were super nice too and didn't feel like an outsider at all by anyone. There isn't a chance I drop by SoCal without going there again and again.
Thank you Crossfit Costa Mesa! Ya'll Rock! Hahaaa ππΌππΌππΌππ½

DON'T GO WITHOUT CALLING THEM FIRST. Even if you have been doing CrossFit for months somewhere else they will not let you join in on a WOD without "certifying" you first. Calling your current CrossFit gym isn't enough. They need a full day's notice, want to review your ability to participate, and have an extra coach on site just to watch the visitor. While I love CrossFit (and will continue to do it) this is one of its GLARING weaknesses. You can't travel for business, wake up early and decide to get a workout in, and just show up and participate. Every CrossFit affiliate has their own rules and allowances and some (like CrossFit Costa Mesa) are much more rigid than others... someone really needs to figure this out for people like me that have to travel.
