About the Club

At Myo we believe in developing athletes of all levels. Whether you’re an experienced CrossFitter or just starting out, our program will focus on mastering the basic technical components to establish a strong foundation and movement proficiency. Through instruction and repetition, individuals will learn ‘by doing’ to promote consistency with the CF movements. With practice athletes will learn about range of motion, proper lifting positions, nutrition, and conditioning.

Llevo apenas 5 días viniendo a este box y ya me siento como en casa. Los 3 coach son demasiado COOL conmigo. Creo que soy el único latino (y el que menos sabe inglés 😅) pero aun así hacen un esfuerzo increíble para integrarme: traducen, me explican antes de empezar y siempre buscan que me sienta parte de la clase. La verdad, en los 3 años y medio que tengo en California, nunca me había sentido tan aceptado en un gimnasio como aquí. ¡Se merecen un aplauso enorme por toda su dedicación y buena vibra! 🙌🔥



🌟 I’ve only been coming here for 5 days and I already feel at home. The 3 coaches are just TOO COOL with me! I’m Latino (and probably the one who speaks the least English 😅), but they make such an amazing effort to include me—translating, explaining things before class, and always making sure I feel part of the group. Honestly, in the 3 and a half years I’ve been in California, I’ve never felt this welcomed in a gym. Huge applause to the coaches for their effort and awesome vibes! 🙌🔥

CrossFit MYO is an amazing place! Everyone here is super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Eric is an incredible coach—his teaching is top-notch, and he’s such a gentleman. After training for over a month, I not only feel physically stronger but also much happier thanks to the routine of regular exercise. Especially when it comes to CrossFit, finding a place that makes you feel good is so important. When you’re in a positive mindset, all your other goals naturally fall into place. For those of you who read my previous review I want to apologize for what I said because I was in my feelings at the time So this morning I had a small run in with the owner and words were exchanged and when all was said and done I walked back over to apologize for reacting the way I did after a couple minutes Taylor and I came to an agreement and shook hands (no bad blood) I totally understand where he was coming from and I have the upmost respect for Taylor and his business. I joined Myo in May 2022 and I've fallen in love with this place.

The facility is clean & organized, and the equipment is well-maintained.

The coaches (Blane, Eric, and Taylor) are very knowledgeable and invested in seeing their members succeed.
They teach & emphasize proper form, technique, and safety. They help you build a foundation that sets you up for continued growth as an athlete, keep you accountable for your progress/fitness goals, and motivate you to attain those goals.

The daily workouts & movements are varied, challenging, and can be scaled or modified to accommodate any fitness level. No matter your age or current fitness level, there is a starting place for everyone here.

The other members make you feel welcomed and supported. We are all there to improve our personal best and support each other in the process.

I've seen improvement in my strength, level of energy, endurance, and overall health.
I enjoy the experience and results I get at Myo.

CrossFit Myo is amazing! The proof? Everyone in my family has been a member here because it's truly great.
My daughter worked with Coach Taylor to improve her volleyball skills. Now she is a D1 college athlete.
My son, who's in high school, took classes to improve at baseball and rugby and can't wait to return.
My husband has been doing weightlifting here and became a National and Pan American champion in Olympic weightlifting in 2022.
As for me, I've never done organized sports before, but Myo made me feel comfortable. I've been coming here for over two years, and I've never been in better shape.
The three coaches, Blane, Eric, and Taylor, have different personalities, but they all genuinely love coaching and give individual attention.
Myo offers two free classes, so try them out. I highly recommend this place, whether you're starting or have been working out for years.
Also, for teens in sports who want to excel, take private lessons with one of the coaches.

The Coaches are awesome.They are very knowledgeable. I was afraid to give CrossFit a try but they scaled the workout to my fitness level, while making me feel comfortable. This is the best CrossFit gym that I’ve been to! Eric, Blane, and Taylor are all very knowledgeable and take the take to make you feel welcome every single time you walk through the door. They will push you to work hard but also help you modify movements when needed. There is so much emphasis on technique and they’re all great at answering any and all questions! The gym itself is always clean and well organized. The community is encouraging to all and will cheer you on regularly. They offer a lot of open gym hours for those that can’t make the regular class times work. 10/10 recommend CrossFit MYO to people of all fitness levels!

The first thing I noticed when I joined Crossfit Myo was that they have a great student to teacher ratio. This means that the coaches actually have time to talk to every member and give them feedback and make sure everyone is moving safely. I didn't have much of a fitness background prior to joining Crossfit Myo so it was really important to me to get guidance and coaching to make sure I don't hurt myself.

The membership price here is on the low end - every other Crossfit gym I searched in the Bay Area charges more. The quality of coaching here is on par with hiring a personal trainer so you're getting a really great value. The membership actually includes both Crossfit classes and olympic weightlifting classes - it's a really great deal. On top of all that, everyone gets their own rig with a taped off area that contains your very own personal equipment. You don't have to walk all around the gym looking for the plates you need. Everyone wipes down their equipment and the coaches mop in between every single class. This is by far the cleanest gym I've ever been to.

The best thing about Crossfit Myo is the community. All the members were immediately friendly and welcoming. I've made a lot of friends here and we hang out both in and outside of the gym. It's a great motivator for me and this is the most consistent I've been at staying active, healthy, and strong.

The biggest, cleanest, most well run CrossFit gym I have ever been to over the past 10 years of my fitness journey. The coaches are invested in each member’s success across a wide range of goals (competition, weight loss, rehabbing an injury etc). The classes are well run and organized and the community as a whole is so welcoming and inviting whether it’s your first day or you’ve been cross fitting for years. Perfect for any and all skill levels.

Best CrossFit Gym in the Bay Area! I’ve been to a lot of boxes and CrossFit Myo is by far the best place to get great training, coaching, and meeting really supportive people. The group here is super friendly, supportive, and helpful not only in the gym but outside as well. We have three coaches at Myo and two teach each class. They all have different personalities and that’s what makes things awesome. They all push you to be your best with positive energy. The people at Myo really make it awesome! One of a kind group that will drive you to success, if you want to or just friends to joke and goof around with in class. Myo has classes that fits most people’s schedules at least but they also have open gym, barbell club, and Olympic weightlifting class. The moment my wife and I stepped in to CrossFit Myo, we couldn’t go anywhere else. It’s a great place to feel good and have a great workout.

Best gym to complain about how miserable you are, before leaving feeling great and looking forward to making yourself miserable again tomorrow.

Coaches are dedicated to form and ensuring you know how to do the movements correctly - including scaling down for individual needs. I am not a professional athlete and always feel the environment is one where the goal is to get *my* best workout; there is never pressure to do more than you can, but always pressure to keep going when it gets to the mind over matter stage. (Fully aware sometimes you do that last burpee and then you live on the ground and there is no getting up.)

For physical and mental fitness, this is where you want to be. (Even when you don’t want to go.)

Crossfit Myo is amazing. I moved to the neighborhood earlier this year, I was very nervous about whether or not I could find a good box (and safe during COVID-19 times) to continue my crossfit trainings. I tried out at multiple gyms, and I am glad that I am able to find Crossfit Myo.

Blane, Eric, and Taylor are three amazing coaches, each class they are able to give great attention to everyone, and able to correct our forms. I also like to sign up for open gyms when I want to particularly learn a certain new movement and want trainings from coaches.

I love the overall setup of the box, it is very organized and clean. Each person has a certain workout area, where you will have all the plates nicely lined up in front of you, you also have a jumping box, a PVC pipe, a row/or a bike, and a bottle for cleaning spray within arm's reach as well. You can pick the medicine ball, the jump rope, the dumbbells, the kettlebells, the barbells, etc. as your need. Everyone is super clean, and wipe down everything and all the equipment they have touched using the cleaning spray, and the coaches would clean the entire floor during the 30 mins in between classes.

The community is also amazing. Everyone is friendly and would cheer each other up. There are also events that the gym would organize for everyone to hang out. There was an autumn BBQ one at the park, and there will be a December elephant one too!

Overall, again, Crossfit Myo is really a SUPER GREAT gym! Cannot recommend enough!

This is one of the best CrossFit boxes I've worked out in (only second to my home gym). The participation and membership is exceptional and wonderful - packed classes, but they are still community-oriented - everyone knows and supports each other. My wife dropped-in Sunday with Blaine being the coach. I dropped in Monday with Taylor being the coach. We were visiting from Phoenix. I have too say. This was the most friendly and probably best coaching experience I have had at a crossfit box. Not only were the staff hospitable they were very knowledgeable of their craft. Best CrossFit gym in the Bay Area. The coaches are amazing and are actually interested in your well being. It's easy to see that they all love what they do.
