Just joined and I’m already considering cancelling my membership. The bathrooms are the worst I’ve ever seen for a commercial gym. They clean the toilets maybe 1 time a quarter and the equipment areas need to be cleaned more regularly. It’s unfortunate because staff is supper friendly and helpful but a clean gym is more important.

Was going through a really hard time and I went in to cancel my membership but the manager smooth talked me into just putting it on hold. Like a dummy I agreed then without warning or any sort of communication I was charged. I submitted multiple cancellation through email “per policy” and no response back. I get things take time but I’m sure someone saw that email. Called and of course cancellations take 30 days which is an easy way to keep people’s money but of course “you can continue to use the facility into the 30 days is up” manager doesn’t get on the phone only talks through his employees. Fair warning read everything before signing because you cannot just call and cancel membership it has to be done through email they don’t respond and there’s no guarantees.

My husband and I were trying to cancel our memberships, I can’t believe we had to call more than 5 times to do that. In every call they put us on hold and never answer back, every time they said “we did it” but then when we called again to confirm “boom” it was not canceled yet so I felt that they are just playing with us, it’s so unprofessional, they way the manager reply to the emails is unprofessional, we still don’t know if our memberships are cancelled or they are just playing. My friend signed up for this gym for me before I confirmed with him for the annual membership. Come to find out the gym was really far from me. So I called Dan the manager literally the next day to cancel because I will not use it. He said he can’t do it. It’s very disappointing that a business of this size would not accommodate such a simple misunderstanding. I didn’t even sign for my own membership and they wouldn’t refund it.

Will not go back here again or consider Crunch fitness again

So who has the best trainer in the world? I do! I’ve used trainers in the past but by far Dan is the best so far. I joined Crunch May 2024. I discovered I’m a stress eater and it showed. I instantly liked Dan when I met him and am so grateful for everything he’s done for me. The man is a saint considering how well he puts up with all my whining and complaining. I know I’m not the easiest client 🤣

Anyway, fast forward to today and my little victory. I have a pair of jeans that I haven’t been able to fit into in a very long time. This morning I decided to try. Really wasn’t expecting anything but they fit! No muffin top or anything. I’ve dropped from a size 10 to a size 6 in jeans. Definitely a win in my book and I’m sure proud of myself. 🙂

I definitely couldn’t have gotten to this point without him. I would have given up a long time ago. He kept pushing me and I’m so glad he did. If you are looking for a trainer Dan is your man. I 💯 recommend him. Crunch you need to give this man a raise he’s definitely worth every penny!

5 on price: Very cheap and very affordable for absolutely anyone.
3 on quality: Not an extensive amount of equipment and it's often times broken with long lag times for repair, but they have the basic db's and bb's so it definitely works for standard workout sessions!
3 on Customer Service: There are some amazing staff members here! Though, like any place you visit, there will be kind and helpful individuals and individuals who are struggling to show kindness and helpfulness, so that just means keep being kind and helpful to those staff members who are rude or struggling in their day and all those you come in contact with ☺️

The equipment and gym are brand new. The gym is cleaned every night. The employees were ok when I was there. They weren't rude, etc. They just try to up sell everything at an overpriced amount , etc, but thats normal for a business. The employees are just trying to meet their quota, make money, etc, so I get it. I signed up for a 1 year membership paid cash upfront for it, but my card was on file. They were supposed to bill the card after the prepaid membership was up. I went twice, and then covid happened. My membership was canceled without my consent. I spoke to a few different employees about this, and I was told I have to repay the sign up fees, etc. Nobody offered to fix the problem without charging me new sign up fees. Why didn't they bill my card call me etc?

Every staff member I've talked to has been easy going and nice. I once dropped my earbuds case into a machine and they retrieved it for me despite the difficulty involved. In the 19 months I've been there, the machines have consistently worked and I've had no problems in the showers. I just wish they were open earlier on weekends so I could go early in the morning, and that they didn't lock me into a twelve month contract.

Although staff members is just horrible, need to get retrain on good customer service skills. The environment doesn’t make you feel welcome. I Purchased personal training sessions and then had a medical emergency that has indefinitely kept me out of the gym. Not only will they not cancel my gym membership, they also will not refund any of the personal training sessions that were never even booked. I showed up for one session immediately following my original purchase where I spent $400 on sessions and my trainer No showed that day. I feel as though this business should be more understanding especially during a pandemic that is prolonging certain things such as corrective surgeries, or even seeing a dr in person. I agreed to pay the rest of my membership which I have literally used ONE time! They have not taken a loss on me. I want my personal training sessions refunded.

This location is poorly managed a while ago I signed up and I was signing the regular paperwork. I stoped going I wanted to cancel they said okay we'll cancel and months later I figure out I'm still being charged. They got me for "late" fees I told them I wanted to cancel again they said okay AGAIN but this time multiple members said it and confirmed it by walking in instead of calling they said they would take care of it again months later I'm still being charged now they said I had a yearly contract with them I had no idea about. so instead of cancelling it then and there for more money I figured it would cost less to wait it out I only had a month left. A month passes by and I just called, I'm still a member they're still charging me I'm they just charged me again for late fees 70+ dollars now I have to wait till tomorrow to speak with a manager who doesn't work apparently.
After I ask if I could talk to corporate they said they were corporate and they handle everything.
I hope this company closes this location due to these thieves

i have actually never seen the staff leave the front desk for more then a few minuets ( if i where to give advice about this place i would say look around for about 30min on your first free day and see if people are cleaning and also touch different equipment to see if want this quality for your money ) i changed gyms and i do pay more but honest i dont have to clean others sweat from equipment in-between using it so its worth it for me

This is the best gym I've ever joined. The staff is super helpful,energetic, and kind! Definitely will never go anywhere else :) great music ,great environment, the equipment, massage beds and tanning beds are all in good condition, bathrooms are super clean,the gym itself is clean, and they have great prices for what they offer! I also love that you can sign up on a month to month basis with no contracts. If you're looking to be in a good environment for your workout journey I highly reccomend this gym. The gym itself is nice, and not usually crowded. The issue I take I take is how they do business. I signed up in between moving houses, so I needed a gym for a couple months at most. After two months I had found a house, so I went into the club to cancel my membership. Upon speaking to the employee on the floor, he informed me that there are no managers available during the weekend - only that they are available during business days, which was extremely inconvenient for me at the time. The employee gives me an email address where I can cancel my membership. I email the address and get a response back, I can't cancel within ten days of renewing. OK, I don't take issue with that since that's just how contracts go. I requested to be taken off the premium plan, and to be put on the standard $10 plan which the employee that signed me up for told me I could "at any time." So the final installment comes around, and not only is it the premium charge of $34.95 (for a month I didn't even use), they've also charged me $49 which I assume is the annual fee (again I used the gym for 2 months) - but no one will call or email me back to tell me what it is. It's disappointing to be treated this way from a gym I otherwise had a good experience with.

I had signed up before the gym opened then moved so I had canceled my membership before my first payment was due. Then I charge went through on my account. I then canceled again this time through email as I was advised. Then again my account was charged. Both times putting my account in negative with overdraft fees because I only use my account to pay bills and these payments were not suppose to go through. I again spike to another manager that said he this time has my membership closed and issued a refund. Was told can take up to 7 days. After a week no refund had come in so I called again and the manager said it was never submitted and would submit again here we are a week later with no refund. So now again I had emailed and called with still no luck. In all this has cost me $90 plus $50 in overdraft fees that I will not get back. I'm only asking for the money that has been taken out. I have been very nice and patient with no luck. So maybe my indecent is a isolated one and the place is a wonderful place just be aware when canceling and make sure it is cancel or you will end up in my shoes.
