Avoid this business at all costs. They try to get vendors inside the gumt and charge for rental space. I never made money with my business and ask the manager to cancel the contract. After 7 months of never returning, they charged my account another month and they won't give me my money back. That was on June, and they won't refund me my money. A business with no integrity. Disorganized, not replying to emails, stealing honest small businessea money. Disgusting!!!

So many things are great about this gym. They have everything you would possibly need to include the punching bags and lifting platforms but the best and greatest thing about this gym is the main man himself RALPH. He not only makes sure the gym is in tip top shape but he really knows how to brighten up someone's day. I look across the room he's making someone smile me included. Crunch Fitness has so much to offer. They offer Zuma, Body Sculpting, Cardio Muy Tie, and Yoga classes! I love all the classes, especially the Zuma class. I lost weight, and I'm very healthy. If you stick to it you'll will see results.

It is incredibly clean as a whistle, and many of us here appreciate the custodians Ralph with his jolly aura along with Luis whom they both keep the gym super clean and tidy. I come to the gym every weekend after work and I appreciate everything clean and organized it feels good working in a clean environment the music is awesome I don’t even need my headphones while working out every night I come in I see Ronnie the dude is really cool he greets me with a good attitude talks to me and over all a hard worker always working and making sure the gym is up to par I appreciate the fact that he creates a bond with the people who show up it makes me feel welcome every time no judgment or anything he’s a really good worker and has great customer service something I like to see when I come to a gym I just want to say you have a good person to represent crunch he really does make a difference especially with me who tries to go to the gym everyday I go to multiple gyms and this crunch stands out just because of the person who represents crunch

If I rate this place and its company a zero, I would because it took me over a month to finally speak to the manager, Jake. I emailed him and heard no contact with him. Heck, I visited the place for a week, but the employees kept telling me various times that he would be there, but he was never there. I didn't want to incur a cycle fee, and when I was recommended to email him, I CC'd the trainers. Long story short, I got charged 31.99, and when I finally got to speak to the manager through the phone, all he could say was, "Oh, this is policy and that I had a very finite time, which of course they don't tell you. Long story short, he refused to refund my money, even though he claimed my account was canceled. Then he dares to say he sent me the cancellation notice or agreement and misspelled my email. At this point, consider purchasing your own gym equipment and avoid fitness gyms like Crunch, as they are likely to take your money. The only one who can actually do anything is a manager who is rarely present at their own gym. I’m irritated as I’m dealing with financial issues from constant struggles with the amount of tedious work just to cancel subscriptions from various places and their refund policies that only benefit them and never you.

Although the gym is decent the management SUCKS. Every manager says something different when wanting to sign up or renew. They can't even maintain the same employees for more than a few months. The front desk loses lost and found stuff and the gym is small but I just can't stand the management. An Annemarie called me to give a "deal" since my membership canceled...it was far from a deal even though I've been going there for over 6yrs. They act like they are taking care of you, but that's if you don't know any better. SAD because I love giving 5 stars!!

This gym is my home gym. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming every time I come in. They are also really helpful. The personal trainers are dedicated to helping you meet your fitness goal and help make adjustments according to your health needs. Classes are fun. Zumba with any instructor is filled with great energy and enthusiasm. There’s a variety of weights and machines available for any type of workout. It’s also pretty cool that the gym allows vendors and small business inside regularly. Working with a personal trainer and all the staff at the gym I have reached many goals and personal records in my fitness journey. I lost 35 lbs. and have gained a lot of muscle. Overall, I have had a good experience coming here.

I transferred here from another Crunch due to wanting personal training that worked with my schedule. I knew Cameron would set me up with a good pt. Trevor us a great trainer. He listens to your goals and build the sessions around it.
I do 5k and I love that they have a track for me to run on. The fact they are 24 hrs is a plus. Try them out and if you want a trainer ask for Trevor.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I just left this gym. I drove 20 minutes to this one because the one close to me is closed. I looked everywhere and couldn't find a sanitation station. I wanted to wipe down the machines before using them to ensure I am not getting someone else's sweat on me.

When I asked an employee if I just wasn't looking in the right place, he said, "Oh. Yeah, we are out of paper towels. If you really need some I have some here you can have for now."

So... no one in that gym that is working out is wiping down the machines before or after using them because the gym ran out of paper towels?! 🤢🤮

I told him I was gonna skip the workout today. And he said, "Just because we are out of paper towels?"

I don't know about you guys, but I think that is incredibly unhygienic and I will definitely not be returning to this Crunch Fitness.

Greedy and Immoral Management. At the beginning of February 2025, Anmerie had offered to renew my membership but I kindly rejected because I’m currently a college student that can’t afford a membership that had raised their prices. After offering me $20/month, I was convinced to stay with this gym. However, months leading up to June, I was being charged for $32/month, and every time I came in to request help for this issue, other workers and managers told me that it would be fixed and the charges would be what I agreed with Anmerie by the next month. This issue continued for months. On June 9, I came in for the same issue, except now they tell me that they were never allowed to make an offer like that to me ever, and the charges can’t be reversed. Feeling cheated and scammed, I cancelled my membership on June 9. On the day of cancellation, they told me that I had until July 9 to use their services and equipment. Today is July 9, and I just got charged another $32 because the management did not cancel my membership during the time I was there. When calling, Anmerie had answered the phone and told me I had cancelled my membership on June 10, which is not true, and that cancelling my membership in June did not cancel it completely which is why i was charged Today on July 9. This does not make sense at all. She began to talk about a 30 day policy which did not align with the words that she had said to me at all. Instead of trying to find a compromise, I’m now being forced to pay another month for their useless services. Initially, I never intended to renew my membership, but this greedy behavior to lie to me about a lot of the issues I was dealing with is just immoral and messed up to do to a young man. This is my first experience with a gym and they’ve not only ruined my perspective of the gym experience, but they’ve also reinforced the stereotypical concerns of a public gym to me.

Trust me when I say it takes a lot for me to take the time to come on here to leave a review. Typically, I like to use review platforms to praise the wonderful things As I know this can be a place for a lot of negativity. I hate that I have to contribute to this, but it is necessary.

This club changed Management a few months ago, and both my parents and I have had issues with the general manager, BRIAN, being sleazy, salesy and a liar. The first issue was him preying on my elderly mom regarding a special deal and was promised that her card would not be charged, but in fact, she was charged for multiple memberships after providing her card information. She had to go back to the store and call the location multiple times until Brian agreed to give a refund. The refund ended up being given in cash and when my family went to the gym the day and time he said it would be ready, it still was NOT ready and they had to again return on a different occasion to receive their refund.

I moved in March and maintained my membership at crunch for two months because I still enjoyed going there for the squat racks specifically. I know there was a change in Management a few months ago and over that time, I watched the gym cleanliness and service decline. I decided to cancel my membership but was told I need to speak directly in person with a manager.

This is a sincere inconvenience since I no longer live locally. I returned on another day within the timeframe I was told, only to find that the manager was not there because of car trouble. I went again another day, and was told he was not there that day. Finally, I sent an email, waited 4 days (2) business days) and did not receive a reply. On 06/24, I called only to be left on hold for five minutes. When I called back, the general manager Brian was the one who answered the phone. He was very dismissive (call was only :55 seconds) and tried to say that I would need to pay an additional month rather than canceling my membership immediately. I notified him that I had made many attempts to follow the process with ample time and that I requested immediate cancellation. He said he would grant this for “being a long time member”.

I requested a confirmation email or follow up that this had been processed and he assured me that I would receive something in my email the next day or so. I NEVER received an email and today I am seeing a charge on my credit card statement for the monthly fee. I have already notified the location management via email, but this has proved to be useless since he never answered the initial email I sent to begin with.

I have been in customer service my whole life and I have multiple instances regarding BRIAN, this location, and difficulties with regard to communication, billing and cancellation. I honestly think this location is a scam and I don’t know what membership fees go toward because the gym is disgusting. I’d be happy to attach photos of the various things I have observed over the last few months and years with regard to how this place has gone downhill.

There are some wonderful employees. I have met there over time, but things have really declined since new management began.
DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM. PLANET FITNESS IS BETTER AND CONTINUING TO GROW - CRUNCH IS ON ITS WAY OUT - JUMP SHIP WHILE YOU CAN.

I’m mostly writing this review because I appreciate how clean the gym is on weekends. I always see Ronnie cleaning up and re-racking weights. He’s also very attentive compared to other night staffers on the weekdays. I’m adding photos to show what it’s like on a typical Sunday morning at 3am. It’s not always like this on weekdays!

I enjoyed the personal training services and reached my goals and beyond. The hydro massage option is cool too. There are usually a lot of people from 7-9pm but then it starts to die down. I’ve never had to wait more than one person in line for a machine. They also have 7 squat racks which is awesome.

Minus one star because sometimes the bike machine buttons are broken or uncalibrated. And when I tried to cancel my personal trainer membership I had to pay an extra month on top of the month for the 30-day cancellation policy, but I had timestamps on when I told them so management figured it out. But be sure to have timestamps and written record of when you cancel things (if you do!)

Other than that it’s a chill environment and lots of equipment to choose from.

Music was always the same and super loud. There was at least 1 machine broken in my workout routine and a few treadmills broken at the same time. The hole in the ceiling by the lat pull down leaked when it rained. I cancelled my membership in person on 2/09, was charged the monthly on 2/09 and charged again on 3/09. When I walked in to ask why I was charged again 30 days after I cancelled, the manager said cause it takes 30 days and Feb is a short month. Their terms say it's 10 days. I asked to get the 3/09 charged cancelled and he said he couldn't. Best he could do is put a note and hope corporate approves it. Can't wait till click to cancel goes into full effect.

They could throw in a few more leg press machines. The only real issue I have is with the limited quantity of specific machines. During peak times, the one you might want to use is taken. Sometimes I’ll see someone using it, go do something else, come back, and someone else is on it. Repeat. I don’t mind waiting for a machine, but I would prefer more similar options that train the muscle groups nearby. I know there is the actual weightlifting area where you place the circular weight, but idk, I’ve never really felt safe using them.

I think they have done a great job keeping it a little cleaner, with the obvious slip ups with running out of wipes to clean your machine.

The group for classes room is open when a class is not in session, which is a great place to warm up. When classes are in session though, it gets a little congested in the rest of the gym.

Overall, from my last few reviews, some updated gym equipment, some reorganization, and a relatively warm gym culture, I feel good about working out here.
They could throw in a few more leg press machines.. That one seems to be out the most. And they could keep a better stock on sanitation wipes for the machines.

This location is literally the worst! They sign you up saying your membership will allow you into any gym blah blah blah, and that you can have a buddy with you, but once your signed up and you give them your money they don’t care. I wasn’t allowed a friend in because of a bunch of excuses and I was told that I couldn’t be signing into any crunch gym only the Cerritos. Canceling with them is incredibly hard. This is a poorly maintained 24 hour location. Like many Crunch fitness locations it's in a shopping center and roughly occupies the foot print of a smallish big box retail shop. The location was busy at 7 am when I came through. As indicated by other reviewers, the bathrooms are in rough shape, up to and including a post apocalyptic style plea to fix the Men's shower sometime in the near present. I also walked in without showing my membership, which was fine with me but might cause concern for a security minded person.

This is one of the better SoCal crunch gyms. I love the lighting, for some reason it seems not too bright and not too dark, lighting is an underrated but important factor for me when working out. It has a great variety of machines and LOTS of squat racks/deadlift platforms. Upstairs running track, machines are kept in working order. Overall it’s great and 24/7 open. The only bad part about this gym is the bathrooms are always gross. Otherwise awesome.

I witnessed Tim the manager on duty today, 8/18/23, become very rude and hostile to a patreon. From what I was able to hear the individual was seeking to enter the gym to work out but Tim refused service without reason when questioned he continued to exclaim that he may not enter because he says so. Bathrooms are always Dirty , Manager is Judgmental , Weights all over the place (constantly un-racked and unorganized), But half the staff is cool and they've got punching bags, the People who go there are pretty cool- 1/6 of the ceiling is always missing/dripping

Ive been working out for 8 years going strong going from fat kid to experienced gym rat and have certification and tend to have explosive weightlifting/ boxing knowledge

Despite this the manager (Tim)refused to interview me do to me wearing a tank top :/ .... These guys aren't real Gym People. Plain and Simple.

The Cerritos gym has all of the equipment I need for my fitness goals. The gym itself is a good size. It's very well kept. Bathrooms and exercise floors are clean. Staff is friendly. There was staff painting the upstairs walking area during business hours but did not interfere with our workouts. And they are 24 hours a day 7 days a week which is convenient.

A good energy place. Lots of young people and hard core bodybuilding types. Everyone is friendly and chill. Only reason for the downvote is that the bathroom really need an upgrade. The shower stalls are always dirty and filthy. Alway have lots of hair debris. Soaps never filled. The excuse of short staffed janitor on weekend is no excuse. It’s like saying no burgers at McDonald’s. Come on!! A clean bathroom is essential to the health and safety of the gym users. No excuse there. Hope it’ll turn around one day. I do love the gym and want to come for years to come. A janitorial staff that takes pride in its work is essential to turn things around here.

My first time at this location and it wasn’t what I completely expected. I thought this was a big place and would have a variety of machines available but unfortunately there wasn’t many. Pretty much the whole facility was outdated and needs to be redone. Once that happens I am willing to give it another try. Meanwhile the Anaheim location will have to do.

I order stuff from Home Depot. One week later I went to pick it up, but they don’t have it available anymore. Nobody called to let me know about that. When I went to pick it up, they said they don’t have the tiles anymore because they’re discontinue. Great my contractor came to work but there’s no tiles to install.

Take care of your money and be careful from this wolfs, they advertised $19.99 at month and they make you sign up for it. But after 6 months they charged you $49.49 for an annual fee. They never told me that when signed up. I called and they said that I signed the contract where it says that! Really? they expect me to read all the contract all the way through? I had signed up for personal training for $150 for 4 session with erick after the 4 session ended...After a month later they charged again another $150 without my permission and after talking to the trainer he said i have to tell them not to autocharge it...But who gave them permission to charge when i didnt ask for the service...And he said money wunt be refunded and i have to train the 4 session..Hate this gym and its management..Could give 0 Stars if i could..

Very popular intermediate gym. Enjoy modernish gym equipment that more then likely isnt gonna give you covid. The environment isnt too shallow with just a few "Instagram models" and low key "personal trainers". If this review comes off misleading given the score or judgemental, it's based off the reality of pretty much all gyms in socal. This is one of the better ones...
