I had high hopes for this gym but turns out they suck. On 10-13-2023 the opening person didn’t show up. I waited for 30 minutes before deciding to leave. The gym is suppose to open at 7 AM on the weekend but they need to get staff that actually shows up on time. The machines also need replacing and updating. There are machines that don’t work (7 treadmills) and are just there wasting space. Sanitizing wipes are not refilled in the morning. Very disappointed.

Beware of signing up- this location scammed me. I tried canceling my membership with them, and the manager Kassandra told me that I had a contract and would have to pay a penalty fee plus half of the remaining months which amounted to a few hundred dollars. I ended up paying the membership for another 7 months because the penalty to cancel would end up being more expensive. I called again 7 months later to cancel my contract, and was told by a team member that my account did not reflect anything about me having a contract. Therefore the manager basically lied to me so I could keep paying the membership. I talked to new manager Michael who said he would try to help me with getting me reimbursed for being lied to and tricked into paying 7 months worth of a membership I couldn’t use. I got no response. This facility also doesn’t have the best machines or variety, wasn’t worth the money.

Of the crunch locations I have been to, this one is not ideal. Much of the equipment is old and worn out. There is not a lot of free open space, it could definitely get unusable at peak times, especially if they use of the space reserved for their group classes. There are not as many machines as one would like. Only 1 olympic squat rack which is old the HIIT area is small and rickety, the whole thing you can shake it if you hang from the bars. The free weights area is extremely cramped and not ideal, not enough benches and missing some of the good stations that other locations have. Only one area with cable stations and in general the whole place is cramped. The bathrooms are fine as long as you don't mind a big common shower (for the men, can't speak for women's restroom).
I would not recommend this location for your main location compared to others.

I already belong to a gym, but I went to Crunch with a friend to assist her with the workout machines. So we went, yo the gym and wow, it was so clean! The manager Michael was very attentive and kind and friendly. He took the time to assist us with our needs. All their staff are kind and knowledgeable. We both still wear masks and disinfect everything. At Crunch there are lots of wipes to disinfect and smells fresh. These are very important details to me. They have movies and music playing while exercising, and gives you encouragement. We enjoy Crunch because everyone focuses on their own routine and minds their business, which I also like. One other great thing about Crunch is the great price. It also includes a tanning area, which is a plus, since summer is almost here!

Crunch gym is a huge scamming corporation! I've been robbed of $298 because the whole corporation ignored me when I tried being refunded. I signed up for a competition they had in September but I lost my job not long after so I called and emailed to cancel my participation before the charge went through and was ignored and charged anyway for $149. I've called and emailed so many times and heard nothing from anyone. Then on the 23rd of this month I was charged again for the same amount for no reason! It seems like I'm not getting any help from anyone working for Crunch and I'm getting fed up and scared that they are going to rob me of more money. I'm contemplating on whether I should contact the Better Business Bureau. I've sent emails and called the corporate already and I just don't know what else to do. I would love to cancel my membership too but they also make that near impossible as well. I just want my money back and for the gym to take my card off their system so they won't randomly charge me again for nothing. I have proof for everything and hopefully I'll hear from someone this time. Also the manager at this location Edgar was not nice or professional and did not even try to help me with this situation. He was on his phone when I went in and made me wait for him to be done texting or something and didn't even try to look up my account to help me out.

Occasionally machines take months to get fixed and frequently break back down, got unnecessarily charged fees for not cancelling 10 days before the year ended, even though I asked an employee a month prior and he told me not to cancel until after the entire year was up. Also when I first signed up I had to ask about the online no enrollment fee deal right before the purchase, idk why she didn't just tell me outright, maybe it's commision?? A little shady overall

I've been coming here for about a year now. They have gotten a lot better at making sure the men's bathroom is clean, however one of the towel dispensers will always be empty in there. The rest of the gym is pretty clean, the only thing they need to step up on is making sure the sanitizong wipes are stocked at ALL times.

The place is PACKED. everyone and there mom goes here. You also have a really strange environment where you have your groups of young guys following around the alpha young guy hogging up equipment. I joined this gym since I will be working in Chino two weeks out of the month. I enrolled online with no issue and went into the gym to get my tag. The employee who checked me in was helpful.

Man, this gym is small and crowded. Even when not in full capacity. I can’t help but comment on the guys who spend hours kicking the sandbags. I’m not sure if they’re practicing for their next MMA tournament, but they are kicking their sweat everywhere when they perform their roundhouse kicks.

Otherwise, I have not had any issues with the staff or gym goers.

Giving this gym 3 stars at this time because I’m grateful they’re open when most other gyms are closed. However, if other gyms reopen and nothing changes at this gym, I’d drop it down to 2 stars. It is a smaller gym with older equipment/amenities. It is pretty packed most days/times but that may be due to being one of the only open gyms. The cleanliness of the gym would be my biggest complaint - mostly the locker rooms. There is consistently no toilet seat covers, no paper towels, no toilet paper, and NO SOAP. You’d think during COVID, having soap in the dispensers would be a top priority.

its a great gym, i prefer other locations but this one is open late. it would be cool if there was an extra barbell too since everyone waiting on one all the time. i really do have a problem with the staff. one guy in particular seems to bully people, I have heard him gossiping about guests and such. just not tasteful, people just want to get a workout in you know? at least go and help them instead of making fun.

I have friends that go here, and I have made some, and ALL of them just hate this guy lol its sad!! he's bossy and loud and just plain rude. someone is going to have a problem with him, if they haven't already. I had a membership and wanted to cancel. I kept calling and calling and no one would answer. I also googled the 1800 customer service line and i couldn't get through. I emailed the manger twice.
Once I was able to reach someone I told them I wanted to cancel and asked about the charge of $70. I spoke to a young lady who stated she was the manager and suggest going through my bank and getting it reimburse through them as they would take forever to reimburse me. She stated that she could also speak to my bank if needed to authorize it and assured me that they would not dispute the claim. I did just so and received a letter in the mail from my bank stating they could not reimburse me as the transaction was authorized. I proceeded to call Crunch again and was told that whoever i spoke to gave false information and they would not reimburse me my money. Terrible customer service. Note: a couple of times I was there by 6 or 7 am and they were still not open. Should have known better.

I signed up to this gym to give it a chance it looked like they had a proper locker room and decent weights but come to find out the lockers are from 24 hr fitness they didnt even have the decency to remove the stickers that said 24. Now when it comes to the weights there is little to no room to workout nit to mention only 1 squat rack, a platform that has the ufc logo on it with outdated plates that dont even fit the bar and basically ruins your whole workout if you even attempt a deadlift. Dont worry tho there is 4 rows of cardio machines. The whole place gives me vibes that it was purchased after a previous gym shut down or the owners literally bought all the equipment for cheap because it was used and runned down and now they are just profiting off of all the subscriptions. In all honesty if you are going to run a gym be proud of the equipment you have to offer. Only reason im working out here is because its the only gym open but you best believe as soon as the other gyms open up ill be switching as fast as possible.

This gym had a male personal trainer here that set me up on recurring personal training after I only wanted to sign up for 1 month. I agreed to tier 2 @$249 but he charged me $350 and then hit my card again the following month. The manager Angel does nothing to resolve this matter and says I need to complete the cancellation form which I already did twice, most recently this past Friday and denies to issue a refund. Definitely regret joining this gym.

However, we only went to the gym for about a week before we decided to cancel. The machines did not work properly and when we signed up for a personal trainer, they said there was nothing on file so there was no one there for us when we arrived. We told them we wanted to cancel and they said our membership was "cancelled." Six months later we get a letter from a collection agency stating we need to pay for six months that we did not use. I've been coming to this gym for a little over 3 years now. While I was able to overlook a few leaky ceilings, broken machines and an overall small area to work out in, the place has certainly changed in the last few months. The regulars have all gone on to other gyms, our favorite club manager is no longer there, but instead replaced by someone who is a "by the book" manager, completely taking away from that "home away from home" feel. Staff from years prior really worked hard to make you feel welcomed and not like just some "gym member" New staff makes you feel like a number. Seems like the only thing that matters now are member fees and taking your personal items to borrow equipment. We are seriously considering becoming "regulars" at the new Corona location.

I like that you can either have the gym to yourself if you go on the weekends, we used to have a terrible manager but now we have much friendlier one that's changed the gym very positively. So far ive been here for 3-4 years coming from a 24hr fitness. Also its cheap as hell you cant beat 10 dollars a month. It's a good gym small, but it's good.

My car got bashed in and robbed 50 feet from their front door at 7:30 AM before work, on a tuesday 3 weeks. ago

An employee informed us not to park on the "theft side of the building" where I got broken-in on, because there's no cameras on that side of the building.

I called management and asked them to improve security by installing cameras where my car and other cars were robbed - including and employee of the gym.

The manager got totally irritated and told me they can never install cameras on the outside of their building to improve safety because of the commercial owner.

I'm never going back, till they have cameras on the outside of their building. The parking lot is unsafe. I was robbed right near their front door. Having your money, ID's stolen, credit cards and ATM cards robbed outside the gym sucks. Especially when the gym doesn't care about improving the safety for me to come back.

I paid alot of money for a membership and I won't return till they have cameras for the parking lot.

I've been coming here for over a year now and the equipment used to feel new and most importantly clean. Now there are a handful of non working treadmills and alot of the equipment looks like it's never cleaned/disinfected. I still have the membership where I can visit any Crunch location and this one has slowly become on of my least favorites.
