Showed up at 6:30am on 2/28/2023 and the gym is closed. Mind you, they open at 5am. This was the only time I could get a workout in as I have meetings all day starting at 7:30. It’s all good, they got my monthly payment yesterday! Please figure out adequate staffing to ensure the business opens on time as many of us are on a tight schedule!

She is very kind, professional and knowledgeable answered all my questions and had me sold over the phone. Great gym with lots of proper machines, free weights and dumbbells also offering tanning, hydro massage and a separate UFC section.

Almost all Crunch fitness gyms are excellent. But Rancho Cucamonga music selection is awful, like kindergarten schoolyard hahaha music. The shower restroom area smells awful. They allow people to keep lockers overnight (days) with filthy clothes..smells like dirty hamper. Other gyms don't allow people to keep filthy clothes in those lockers or stuff overnight.

Being charged trainer fees after canceling them in February, Manager Danny is hard to get a hold of, emails unanswered, phone calls not returned.
Best advice... go to your bank and put stop payment on anything Crunch related. Worst experience ever, not only that ..moved out of state due to transfer at work, they want to charge even though Crunch does not have a gym in this state.

It's a cool gym, they have so many machines to use and for the most part it's never really packed. The price is reasonable too, I've been with them since 2016 and it's only gone up like a dollar. The downside is the workers don't come to work on time, if you plan on coming in the morning expect the workers to show up after 6:15 (maybe later) although they open at "5".

If you enjoy having your time wasted, then by all means choose this gym.

They regularly open 40 minutes after open. I sat outside today for 20 minutes with 20 other customers at 5 am, many who started leaving around 5:15.

I gave it until 5:20 and left.

This place is completely disrespectful of other's time. Change your opening hours if your staff don't show up on time, this shouldn't be a guessing game.

Completely unprofessional and this is not a 1 time mistake, they do this all the time.

I only visit this gym when I'm at my parents house. My home Crunch is lovely.

Now I'm thinking I need a new big box chain because the one by my parents, where I often stop in, is so in unreliable.

Terrible customer service, employees here I’m more worried about socializing than helping anybody out, They don’t sell the UV glasses for the tanning beds. When I got my gym membership everything was going fine but when it came to canceling that’s when the problems start they make it almost impossible for you to cancel the manager is never available and you’ll never be able to speak with the manager and even after you cancel your gym membership they will still try to charge you this is the worst gym to go to because they will make sure it is almost impossible for you to cancel I would suggest going to a different gym with more friendly staff and that won’t try to rip you off that’s not including when they’ve charged me almost $900 in personal trainer fees when I canceled my personal trainer in the beginning but it did not stop them from keep charging me and then they told me I would get a refund December 3 and then when December 3 came and I told him when was I going to receive the money in my account they told me I was not getting my refund back worst gym I have ever been to DO NOT SING UP you will end up regretting it

Horrible customer service here this place is completely unprofessional. Even after your contract is over, you still have to go through a whole process to cancel your membership. Also, their trainers will scam you for your money. It wasn’t till after I had signed up for one that I realized I was being charged an excessive amount. I made several attempts to approach them in regards to that and all they told me was they couldn’t do anything about it. I lovevthis gym. I have tried planet fitness, crunch fitness and 24hour but this one is the best for me. The machines are great and they are always available as they have multiple. Love the treadmill as it's my best for running. People are nice and non-judgmental along with great service. Their smoothies are delicious and worth the price. They have protin bars,drink ect.. at affordable prices. Their pool is nice the saunas are interesting as they are always in use. Try it you will love it in Fontana ❤

DO NOT join this gym. Poor sanitation (COVID or otherwise), poor maintenance (the same 10 treadmills have been broken for 3 months now), and poor management/training for their employees. A gym employee attempted to extort money from me in order to let me use the UFC side of the gym (I had already paid) he teased me saying "I look too poor to be a real member". Six months ago I complained to the manager she said she do something, she was lying.

I canceled my membership and blocked my credit card but, they continued billing me for weeks and now they are threatening to send me to collections for a debt I don't owe over services they didn't provide. Looking through the reviews I see they have done this to hundreds of people.

Crunch Fittness offers deals that they don't honor and charges for services they do not render.

They have sent me to collections and I paid a lawyer to write them a threatening letter and the fiasco finally ended. I would definitely NOT recommend this gym.

At first i thought it is a nice gym to go to. Spacious, clean, nice staff, not that expensice... Until they started with their hidden fees. Turns out that if you enroll online you ll pay like 5$ but if you enroll in person that will cost you about 80$ for no apparent reason. When i confronted the manager with this simple truth, the manager's response was "it has a bitter sweet taste to it" and "that's how we do business"

Had a VA appointment in the area last week, not my usual club but thought I'd see if it was bigger and cleaner.

Walked in, almost entered the locker room till I saw someone completely maskless coming out. I started looking around, saw 3 ppl from where I stood with their masks under their chin, saw another 2 on my way to the front desk where the presumed manager was standing (maskless) with an employee (maskless until noticed me then put the mask back on). I asked if they had a mask policy, manager affirmed. I pointed out the totally maskless dude that just walked past an entire front desk full of employees and a manager while people were on the floor with masks under their chins and no employees enforcing anything.

Wife is immuno-compromised. Not going to risk her health in the slightest for the laziness of others no matter how big the gym is.

I canceled my membership back in March when the pandemic hit and Crunch was shut down but Crunch continued to charge my debit card. When I put a stop to their charges they somehow managed to get a hold of my credit card and charge it. I opened a dispute with my card but Crunch is still managing not only to charge for the monthly fee they are going 4 times beyond that amount. I had written a letter to their management but I get no response. I'll be taking them to court and I'll be getting retribution and then some. My advice to you if you're thinking about joining don't.

Unfortunately this gym is very dirty, they clearly clean the floors but the machines have dirt from months and months and during a pandemic this is terrible. Mirrors well yeah there's a lot of disgusting dirty on them.
Men's locker room is not very clean but not badly dirty either so okay I guess...
The enforcement of the towels is completely Bs because only 1out of 20 have it...
The gym is always overcrowded so not sure if over the capacity allowed by the state during the pandemic.
Not to mention the lack of attachments missing on the cable station (chest/back and other) ..

Bring a towel or you have to pay for their $1.29 small square white towel. Only one platform located in the UFC area and can't use it because it's locked to some type of higher tier membership. Only one squat rack so wait time is longer than usual, and some assisted squat machine. I recommend not to come here during peak times on your leg day. Other than that, I met some good peeps.

I had brought my son yesterday for his first time and there happened to be no kids that showed up for Jump Start....I thought that we would have to try back another day but Kenya was very helpful and gave my son a one and one workout...Her energy was lit and hyped my son up to push hard...My son loved his workout session and is already asking when he can do it again...Thank you Kenya for giving my son a great experience for his first time 😊 I’m really glad I signed him up...

I have heard bad reviews about Crunch but wanted to give it a try as it is closer and less drive time from my home but it has been very disappointing and frustrating experience. Me and my husband have been their customers for almost two years and rarely used the gym so wanted to cancel it. We had driven to Rancho Cucamonga location and personally cancelled it and they did show it in their computer that it's cancelled and they will not charge us but only for that month, and we had agreed. After couple months, we checked our credit card, and they had been charging us for additional months even though they had shown in their computer screen that the membership has been cancelled. We had to call her bank and close the credit card and get a new one and next thing you know it went to collections. The collection spokesperson was asking if we ever got confirmation email but Crunch staff (not at all helpful at this location) never even mentioned about such email. This whole experience has been very frustrating, we had referred atleast 10 family and friends from neighborhood and workplace to Crunch but I will be sharing my terrible experience with them so that they will also cancel their membership and take their business elsewhere because this stress is really not worth the time and effort.

Each Gym member must consent to Co-vid19 papers. Each member must have towel to exercise or must buy a towel. Cost of each towel is $3.75 or no exercise. Forceful message from Crunch. And no written document of stating the requirements of towel while exercising. Crunch Paper towels to wipe off sweat are not acceptable. Crunch will not justify its membership clause to members it is written to bring towel or else no exercise as spoken by management. I've already paid annual membership. Mark is patient, breaks things down step by step for our 9 year old son to understand better, and makes sure his form is good to optimize performance. Terrible gym! The price is cheap but it's not worth it. First off, they are suppose to open at 5am but their people that they schedule dont show up on time. Currently it is about to be 6am and the gym is still closed. This has happened multiple times already; not just once. 2ndly, their cleaning staff isnt the greatest. Restrooms/locker room sometimes does not even get cleaned right. The cleaning lady spends more time talking than cleaning. 3rdly, if you come early in the morning dont expect to see anyone in the front desk. The girl that is suppose to be in the front desk spends more time near the class instructor then at the desk area. Which brings us to the next point, the class instructor brings his effen dog to the gym. No, not a service dog just his regular dog. Why would I want to workout in the same place where you have your dog running around? The desk girl is actually playing with the dog so there really isn't anyone to complain to at that time. This gym used to be good like a year ago, but they have slowly lost alot of their good staff. Will be canceling the 4 gym memberships that I have here with them and going somewhere else.

Will charge you around a hundred dollars a year in fees. They are very bad at maintaining their equipment. That includes their air conditioner, and their only water fountain. Last summer when it was over a hundred degrees there was no AC so instead of promptly having it fixed, for several months they just kept the doors open.

Tried canceling service with them due to not being able to make the monthly payments. Gave me nothing but the run around for months! Terrible gym, will never go there again!!

Smaller gym with quality equipment. No pool, jacuzzi, sauna, etc like the bigger gyms. But they do have tanning and hydro massage machines.

Crunch is better than others gyms and it's big enough. It has variety of equipments and has a lot of different activities, like personal trainer, etc. You can also use the UFC gym next to them if u get the higher membership. The biggest problem is the money. It's very very expensive and they trick you into paying more than you want. It's also very hard to cancel it.

I'm upgrade credit card some how in they system was wrong, and double charge me, I'm feeling not right to me and cancel members, they put in system reasons canceled members is moving, but I'm not moving ....👎👎👎

Only one squat rack. Two bench press racks and the bench is narrow and has a gap around your neck area, making it uncomfortable. Clean and tidy though. Not as crowded as 24 Hour Fitness.

Looks like they are now changing management again with more aggressive trainers right as you walk in.
