Been coming here for 4 years. The staff is really friendly (Props to Darlene at the front) and they have a good variety of equipment, from multiple flat benches and an entire row of Olympic lifting racks. They also have a great functional room in the back if you want more variety. I haven’t found a better gym in the SCV at this price point.

On Saturday I went to this class called AcceleratedHIIT and I truly loved it, the instructor called Michelle W. was so nice and helpful, she taught me how to correct my posture and use the weights when doing all the exercises. Frank the manager here is amazing and has held down the facility in keeping it clean and family friendly. Because of this gym we travel about 30 minutes a day to get our 4 year old son into boxing classes and they offer a great promotion for kids. The staff here is very patient. Isa the boxing coach made the first experience very pleasant and Frank has been very accommodating. Would highly recommend this gym and it’s definitely worth the drive if you need a clean facility with many great options would choose Crunch over LA fit and 24 hours any day of the week

I’ve been coming to Crunch Santa Clarita since 2020, and I have to say Frank has been one of the nicest and most reliable people I’ve met here. He’s always made sure I got the best deals, and I’ve seen managers come and go at different locations—but nobody runs a gym as smoothly as Frank does.

The personal trainers here all have a friendly attitude and really make the environment welcoming. Even the janitors are super nice and reliable, always keeping things clean and taking care of anything that comes up quickly.

Assistant managers Joshua and Kami also bring such a great energy—walking in and being greeted by them first thing always sets a positive tone for the day.

Be aware of this company this gym is a scam. I signed up with them online and started going. Then I wanted to downgrade. I sat down with two of the managers, two of the store managers Sean, and Beshoy they did something on the computer and started withdrawing money $420 each month and $26 each month for the for the gym membership. I didn’t know they were withdrawing all that amount of money didn’t check the account from where they were withdrawing money. They withdrew money for six months and I didn’t know no one called me and I never used the Fitness strainers. I never used not even one hour with the fitness trainer

An update to these review or complaint is that crunch fitness has done nothing to help me with the situation that they they did to me they have done absolutely nothing in contacting me or emailing me. They have not given me 1cent out of almost more than $2500. They stole from my accounts. This people in Santa Clarita are just scammers. Kristine Hale is the one that respond to this complaints and she responds with a generic message; she doesn’t even take the time to respond to messages.

I was getting charged for an old account that had been “cancelled” by one of the front desk employees because my membership would show up as inactive. The following months I realized I was getting charged double. I went in person and an employee told me to just get that old agreement number from ABC Financial and they would be able to do everything on their end. The next day I went in after getting that old agreement number and the GM was super rude and so unprofessional. He told us they couldn’t do anything about it and asked why I didn’t come earlier to resolve the problem, I had just given birth to my baby and that’s the last thing I was worried about.He proceeded to tell me that I shouldn’t have have made a new account with that other employee because she wasn’t authorized to do so, how was I supposed to know that. Anyways he denied helping me and told me that it was an issue with my bank and told me I’d just have to cancel my credit card. So I emailed their operations manager and she resolved the issue the next day, and told me my refund would come in the next few days. It was that simple so why was I denied and treated so rudely. I would’ve given a one star review because of how rude the Gm was but the professionalism and urgency of their operations manager was amazing.

It's an okay gym. Just that... okay... no frills, old machines, decent staff, average facilities and variety of equipment. On the plus side, it's rarely crowded (unlike LA Fitness) and you can get a good workout quickly. And it's affordable. On the minus side, it's kind of a low-energy atmosphere and they keep the temperature too warm - which means it's super stuffy inside and you won't be able to stay long unless you don't mind sweating gallons.

I wouldn’t recommend going here, I will be honest about the gym and say my son had no issues with the workout machines or anything but the billing was the issue, they charge 50 dollars annual for cleaning and 90 dollars for signing up, on top of 16.99 a month for a membership, I saw these prices and thought my son was better off going back to LA fit so a month later I went in to cancel the membership, and that day I got a 50 dollar annual charge and I didn’t even know about it. I went to cancel and I was kept getting pushed just to freeze my account but I still canceled it and ignored the staff. After canceling I got a 16.99 charge two days later. Keep in mind this account was for my 15 year old son and crunch was just yanking money he worked for straight out of his account.So I was unable to refund any of those charges including the 50 dollar fee. This gym is full of thieves and it’s absolutely unacceptable to charge this amount especially to a young teenager .I’m 100% going back to la fit and staying there for good. Can’t believe I have to resort to a bad review but I have no other choice. I went in to Crunch to cancel my membership with the manager which I was assured was cancelled as I moved abroad. The manager told me that there is no fee but at the end of the month I was charged about $70 dollars. What is this charge for as I already paid the annual fee some months prior. In the contract that was signed, there is no mention of this exit fee which was backed up by the Manager. He also refused to give any type of notification that put into writing that I was canceling my membership. The contract terms are quite clear that if a member moves an X amount miles away from a Crunch those would be grounds for members to terminate the contract. This was communicated to the manager. On my app, it still reads that my account is active. WHYYY IS MY ACCOUNT STILL ACTIVE IF I HAVE ALREADY GONE IN TO CANCEL. Crunch has clearly breached the contract. I’ve already sent an email to the manager and of course with no response. I sent a message to the GM and of course no response. How is this a common trend for y’all? How is crunch Santa Clarita still in business? Contact me immediately as my account is still ACTIVE WHEN IT SHOULD BE CANCELLED AS WELL AS A REFUND. The legal terms are CLEAR

It’s unfortunate that I must write a review like this, but this new management in this gym is not only terrible…it is horrendous, unprofessional, and immature. I have been coming to this gym since January of 2022. I tried to cancel my personal training membership since June 22nd 2024. My only reason for cancelling is because I no longer live in California. I truly had a wonderful experience being trained by Chris Ngoon! He is very knowledgeable and taught me how to push myself and is over just an amazing trainer! Moving forward with this review…I was told by James that there is a 30 day period before the official cancellation. We had agreed on this meaning I would be charged until July 24th. I have now been OVERCHARGED $100+ after July 24th(I have even been charged during August). NOT TO MENTION BEFORE AND THROUGH OUT THE 30 DAY PERIOD…He never gave me any documentation nor was an email ever sent to me about my cancellation. When it was brought up to him he says “I am not obligated to give you documentation!” Which is completely false. You must always give, have, or show documentation especially in a company as large as crunch fitness. He had NO documentation of this cancellation ANYWHERE (we looked while he went through the computer) and we had asked him numerous amounts of times! Then we tried to speak to James’s manager, Josh, about this and he just said to talk to James. Then you talk to James and he tells you to talk to Josh. Josh and James make you go back and forth because neither of them know how to do their job. When we tried asking to speak to upper management, James said “I don’t know who Josh’s boss is.” We asked how do you not know who your upper management is? He then goes on to say “I am not obligated to give you their name or number.” Like how are you going to back track on your statement saying you don’t know them, then say “I am not obligated to give you their info”. Not to mention we had gone in person and have called NUMEROUS amounts of times! ALL I WANTED WAS TO CANCEL AND GET A REFUND FOR THE OVERCHARGED FEES! IT DID NOT NEED TO BE THIS INCONVENIENT CYCLE OF UNPROFESSIONALISM, IMMATURITY, AND ANNOYANCE!

Workout for one month and asked manager to cancel my membership, still double checked with him about cancellation fee and he said that there is no fee I just have to pay next monthly payment.
today after one month they took monthly payment and cancellation fee from my bank account, I called them , went to the gym itself and guess what was the reason? Yep I needed to notify them 30 days before cancellation :))) I went there exactly 30 days ago and asked them hundreds of times about cancellation fee:))

About the gym itself, always crowded,not clean at all, overall gym itself 2/10 management -10000/10

Christie “sales director” absolute trash customer service . I had been told this woman has a horrible attitude and is extremely rude, today I experienced it . I came in today for a free pass. I couldn’t because my ID wasn’t in the area of canyon country, Valencia or Santa Clarita but it is SAUGUS. Which is ridiculous. The manager that helped was very rude. I said I would just come back and then pushed me into doing the $1 for a month and when I said that I would think about it he rescinded that offer and I felt forced to sign up. I was never told about the initiation fee or that I would have commit to a year. I have emailed them to cancel my $1 membership immediately as I feel cheated. I did not like the vibes and many was pushy and did not like the way he was talking to other members. Made condescending statement to me about women only wanting to do cardio. I want to cancel but I will not walk in there if he is in there during that time to cancel my membership as I really didn’t appreciate him

I've never been to this gym nor has my daughter.. I've been getting constant treating phone calls and emails from this location about my 4 year old getting send to collections for a past due balance. I've spoken to maaaany team members when they called, that my child is 4 and has never been there.. I've received a email from Patty treating to send us collections for a past due balance unless we come in to pay.. I've offered to show my bank statement of never being there. Also that my daughter is 4 and has never been inside of a gym...
I'm getting no responses for anyone only tears to go to collections.

Scam artists. Don’t waste your time or money signing up. They always send a bunch of kids out in public to take your account and routing number, and the only way to cancel is to have a formal notice of at LEAST 30 days. Which means, even if your trial is for $1, you will inevitably be charged $87 whether you cancel right away or not.
I requested to have my paperwork back and shredded as soon as I signed it, and they refused to give me back my papers and proceeded with the charges. I even disputed this with the bank and lost because it is an ACH transaction since they bill you directly through your account and routing number. 100% Worst business practice in Santa Clarita.

The customer service here is practically non existent. What makes everything worse is that one of the managers is one of the rudest men anyone can encounter, so there’s no one here looking out for their customers genuinely. His name is Sean and I genuinely have no idea how he has a job still considering the amount of reviews i’ve read about him here and the amount of complaints i’ve heard from other gym goers. He isn’t sure about any of their policies even though he’s a manager..
He talks down on you when you’re genuinely just trying to understand what the membership entails.
The other staff are also just extremely pushy whenever you make it known that you want to cancel a membership. I understand that this is their livelihood, but if I’ve already made up my mind, just please do what I ask.
They make it painfully hard to cancel any type of membership. They love to advertise as a “no commitment, easy cancel” gym but they are definitely not. They don’t adequately communicate with each other whenever it comes to appointments and then take it out on their paying customers. My boyfriend had an even harder time than I did trying to cancel his membership.
you’ll be better off at quite literally any other gym. please save your money and don’t come here.

This gym is awful. I signed up and almost every machine I wanted to use was broken most of the time. The bathroom was dirty, it was packed full of people mostly younger people with bad vibes. The parking lot sucked. I was refused a refund because I was a day late to ask for it. I’ve been to 24, LA fit, anytime and crunch was by far the worst. I heard bad things about it but decided to try it out, I wished I listened to the people that said not to go.

DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU LONG AFTER YOU CANCEL!!! Came into town for 1 month in April 2023 and was told I could sign up for one month and would not be charged more than one month as long as I canceled before the next month. I did this and they still charged me. I called and was told to send an email to the manager and state I wanted to cancel. I did this and never heard anything back. Then I get charged again call back and find out that manager got fired for stealing money or something along those lines. Called back got a guy that said he would cancel my mempership and send me confirmation which he did. Or so I thought. Still got charged a few days later. Just called because I am still being charged and talk to manager Shawn. He assured me my account would be canceled and I would be refunded. 2 days later I get charged AGAIN. It is now October of 2023 and this gym has stolen nearly $200 from me.

DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION Worst experience with their customer service. The manager clearly told me that I would be charged $1 for 2 months then I would have an annual fee of $50. I haven’t even been a member for over a month and was charged a $40 fee, the $40 was never mentioned to me. I tried to discuss with them, but they didn’t even offer any reimbursement. I’m a college student, I can’t be spending $40 just any time. Never giving them my business again.

It's annoying how I cancel my membership. I canceled my membership through online and said I will get notified by the manager within 2 days, it has been past 5 or 6 days I never gotten any email. So I had to call the gym. CRUNCH FITNESS you have to improve your service. If I didn't call the gym I wouldn't even find out if it is canceled or not. There's no customer service either, you can't contact them! I guess they don't want to deal with customers with complains or concerns. No wonder there's no improvement 🤦‍♀️ they just for the money after all. I have read some of reviews about false advertising either!! Shame!!

I go to crunch for the Zumba classes, the instructors are awesome. Specially Maricela, OMG!! If you’re looking for a workout and at the same time have fun doing it. Then her class is the place to be! I’ve been a member for a while now, I just wish I could bring two guests instead of only one. I am still a member at planet fitness, and I pay less there and I can bring two guests. Anyways, Maricelas Zumba class is the best!

watch out for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Sean Laymin is extremely unprofessional. When i came in to do a 30 day free trial, i was specifically told that as long as I cancel before the month end is up and i receive the first bill I would only have to pay the $1 fee. Sean Laymin clarified multiple times that in total I would only have to pay the $1 as long as I cancel before since money is of high concern I made sure to ask about 7 times. When I went in to cancel my contract today Sean said that I had to pay the first bill, however after I explained how he never disclosed that he acted extremely unprofessional and was unsure of where the policies even were and refused to let me talk to his supervisor. This was a scam due to him not disclosing any of that information. I also know multiple other people who have had extremely hard times cancelling their memberships and believe that Crunch Fitness provides false advertisement and refuses to disclose the information in the contract and would also not allow me to see the contract as well.

I needed assistance at the service desk, but staff member Dom was on the phone helping another customer so I walked away to continue w my workout. This is the worst crunch I’ve ever been to. For how much square footage they have and the number of people who come to this gym, they do not have nearly enough equipment. God help you if you’re in a rush, there’s no way you’re not going to have to wait for equipment to open up at least once. They only have two bench presses and six free weight benches. They’re also missing common accessories. They don’t have MAG cable attachments, they don’t have barbell lock collars, they don’t have barbell neck pads. The people who go to this gym don’t care either. Dumbbells are never on the correct spots, people leave bars loaded on the Olympic platforms. The weights at the Olympic platforms are also a hodgepodge of steel plates and bumper plates. Finally the room full of punching bags reeks of BO 24/7. This gym is a joke and the anytime fitness up the street is better suited for any serious gym goers.

I tried canceling my membership five times. I emailed and called but since then I moved and was in between jobs so I no longer needed the membership, nor could I afford it or come into the facility. I emailed three separate times and called at least 5 times. I was charged about $110 since I initially cancelled my membership. They kept telling me that the manager would call me back and he never did, so I had to keep calling daily to try and get a hold of him. It was embarrassing and the worst situation I have ever been in as a customer. When I signed up they put down the wrong information so even when I tried to cancel, they insisted my information didn't match. Not to mention the manager seemed burdened by my requests, while the front desk employees were way more eager to help. The manager said I couldn't receive a refund, because he never responded to my emails. The exact conversation went like this: "So you can't refund me, because you guys didn't check the three emails I sent months ago?" while the manager goes on to say, "uhh ya". So unprofessional! When I tried to see if there was some sort of customer service that could help, there is no line to contact and none of the numbers work. I am looking to file a claim with my bank because they basically stole my money. This is the first gym membership I have ever had, and I will never be getting another one, especially with this company. I received no apologies for the absolute hell they put me through. I am so disappointed, and I would never recommend this establishment. Do better please.

Me and my husband signed up about a month ago. Jae was the person assisting us. We paid for my husbands in full for the whole year which was $399. The next day when I checked my checking account I noticed he had charged us twice. So we had two separate charges of $399. I called the gym and at first it took forever to get in contact with the manager as the other sales associates were unable to assist me with this. After hours of calling I finally spoke to the manager Mingo. I told him my situation, no apology was given he simply just said ok I will refund you your money. I asked how long it would take he said about 7-10 business days. I patiently waited 10 business days but I never received my refund. I called 10 business days later and spoke to the recent manager Sean. He looked up the account and said he didn't see any refunds being done that he still saw the duplicate accounts. He gave me and email and directed me to the operations manager. I emailed Bree a week ago she did apologies but it has been a week plus the other weeks that I have waited and I still don't have my money.

This gym is showing incompetency, lack of customer service, and signs of fraudulence. This should have never happened and could have easily been dealt with in a manageable time frame. It has been a month and nothing has yet to be done.

A very disappointing experience. Don't go here. It is not clean, the raestrooms are not cleaned or maintained. I've been trying it out after 24Hour Fitness closed. Music is blasted upstairs by the treadmills for "prime time" hours, and you can't even hear your own music in your headphones. Completely obnoxious so I had to cut my workout short. In addition to that, I was sold on a trial membership with the understanding that I could cancel at any time. However, after I cancelled, and my cancellation notice had been received and processing they still processed a payment for the next month and insisted it is non refundable. Completely rude and indifferent. I’m filing a complaint with BBB.

The most important thing mentioned in training is saying,” Hello, and goodbye,” to everyone who walks in the door. And the front desk staff is terrible at basic gym etiquette. And these days the gym is a pure place of judgement, when the gym had the standard of we all are here to improve, or maintain”

Do not give them your contact information unless you're actually serious about going to this gym. If they insist when you stop by to see the gym, probably give them fake or burner ones because they will NOT stop contacting you even after you've declined their memberships.

If you've been to a Crunch before, such as the one in Burbank, it will not be the same. Burbank is a Crunch Signature and this is a franchise of some sort. The services, management, and cleanliness are not on par.

If the $10 a month membership appeals to you, they have the equipment for it but you'll also get the services, management, and cleanliness of a $10/month gym and not a Crunch level gym.

I previously wrote a 3 star review because half the machines are broken. They seemed to get on top of that and now this is honestly the best gym I’ve ever been to. They even remodeled one of the extra areas where there used to be a basketball court with at least 6 full size squat racks!!! OMG! The amount of machines and equipment this crunch has is unbeatable. Young and lively people too

If i could give this place Zero stars I would due to poor Management by Bishoy. I was recently targeted without warning, reason, evidence or even a thorough investigation I was accused mid squat by one of your employees by the name of Bishoy. In front of a room of people he questioned my character and insinuated that I was training my friend who was with me. His intention was clearly to belittle me as he threatened to kick me out without asking any questions or verifying his hypothesis. He was WRONG. I was forced to have to plead my case in your back office where the regional manager sat. Before coming to kick me out he had not even disclosed that he knew me prior or that multiple employees of theirs, including Patrick ( from the boxing class) have seen us work out together consistently. Crunch fitness has always been an outlet and safe place for me to become the best version of myself but today made me question the integrity and values of the gyms management. The stars are for Bishoy! If I could give him zero I would. I am extremely hurt by this and insulted.

Nothing has changed at this gym since my last post. The lights in the women's bathroom have not been fixed. I guess the rationale is better to have some light, then no light. The lights have been out in the main area, and over the handicap stall in the bathroom for over a month. Going into the second month. When you ask when this will be fixed, the front desk staff says, "I do not know". The sinks in the women's restroom are non functional. Two out of four sinks do not work, and this has also gone on for over a month. Going in the second month. When the front desk is asked when this will be fixed, they say, "I do not know'. The drains in the showers are clogged, and the water runs back into the shower. Of course the water is filthy, and has all kinds of particles in it. They have been told about the drains for over a month. I honestly do not believe Fernando knows what a drain is. If he were actually cleaning the bathrooms, and showers, he would clearly see there is a drain problem. This problem has existed for over a month. Going into the second month.
The staff does not know when this problem will be fixed. To make a note, the staff, with the exception of a mature man who works the front desk, have no clue what goes on or the continual problems at this filthy place. I bet they can all tell you what is going on on their phones! When I go to this building (you see, I do not deem this a gym, but a building with several broken machines) I usually go about 0630. the women's locker is always filthy, the sinks covered with water stains, the trash is always overflowing, and hair and trash on the floor. I am not sure why the locker rooms are not cleaned the night before, or have someone there when this place opens to clean. Whatever time a member goes, there should always be a clean locker room, bathrooms and showers. NOT HERE!! I have nothing positive to say about this place, and it is the fault of their corporate office, and employees. Crunch only wants memberships, and do not give one care about the members. We are also charged a maintenance fee of $60 each year. WHAT??? What is that for, to upkeep this building??? Every member should get his or her money back! It is time for the corporate office to step in. This place continues to be a mess! Frank does nothing here, and I cannot understand how he continues to work and collect a salary, or any of these people for that matter. If you do not believe me, come see for yourself! A huge disappointment!!! Do not buy a membership here!

I arrived as a guest. They were easy going and no forms to fill out nor sales pressure like LA Fitness (atleast that day with that person). The place is divided into areas and upstairs there seems to be enough treadmills and elliptical machines. Lots of younger crowd.
