I regret joining this gym. Some members use the cable machine for their entire workout — for more than an hour — without letting anyone else use or share them. The staff doesn’t seem to do anything about it. We’re left struggling with these inconsiderate members every day. So I definitely won’t be renewing my membership, and I don’t recommend this facility.

Everybody was cleaning up after using equipment. Relatively organized and it looked like most people were putting away their weights. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were clean. I signed up because it's cheaper than the other local gym, but they have very few machines and free weights. There is a huge wait for everything. I canceled and went back to 24hr.

They are mostly about classes and massages and so forth . If you are into tanning booths and massafe chairs, this is your gym. Otherwise you will regret it. A gym called "Crunch" and they don't even have an ab cruncher.

Great place to work out. Gym is super clean. I like the set up. Free weights in the back, cardio centered and off the right is racks (wall balls, pull ups etc) and a padded area for tires or sleigh push/pulls or Lunges let your imagination go to work. They also have fitness classes, I haven't attended any yet. They have spray tan for us ladies, or message stations which is part of your membership. There is no sauna or pool (which I don't mind I never used them any ways) last they do have a large studio room they use for classes/TRX or you can use too if you want. Good location and the staff is super friendly and happy be there. Very helpful. Every conversation I've had with staff has been happy, helpful and professional. Bathrooms/locker rooms are clean. I always would recommend locking your stuff up just to be safe. They have locks for sale and they are only 5$. So they are not trying to rip you off. The monthy cost is as little as 15 per month up to 35. Even at 35 per month it's affordable and with the 35 per month you can bring a friend unlimited. That's awesome! Highly recommend them.

5 ellipticals, 3 of which have been broken for months. Treadmills and bikes are never at capacity. How about getting rid of those and putting back the ellipticals you took out when you expanded the lifting machines. This gym is not a good choice if your 60 or older. From not enforcing the mask policy during early COVID to eliminating ellipticals, seniors are not valued as members.

After three years of frequenting this gym, I've decided to cancel my membership. While the gym is spacious, with plenty of equipment and great classes, the lack of cleanliness has become unbearable. Throughout my time there, I have never seen any professional cleaning the gym. Dust, hair, and sweat are everywhere, and it’s disgusting.

If you look at the pictures I’ve attached, you can see a thick layer of dust inside the paper dispenser used to clean the machines, which is unacceptable.

Another issue is the behavior of some members. For instance, there's a guy who comes in every day wearing a blue shirt and grey pants. He monopolizes one of the cable machines for over an hour, taking forever between sets, which prevents others from using it. Despite this ongoing problem, the management has never addressed it.

A gym should be a clean and communal space, but unfortunately, this one falls short.

Crunch gives me the best workout. As a coach, I belong to three gyms in Santa Rosa. When I workout, workout for my own physical benefits, I workout at Crunch Fitness because I feel challenged by the machines. The set up is beneficial, the scene challenging for wanting strength and fitness, plus the machines are arranged efficiently. The best strength training is at Coddingtown Crunch Fitness. Plus I go to Target and Whole Foods for breakfast and lunch when I am done working out because they share the same parking lot.

I’ve been coming to this gym for bit over a year now, it’s a great environment with tones of friendly people all willing to help one another, although I took off 2 stars due to the fact that there is another crunch member at this gym that is constantly on the cable machine everyday, he wears a blue shirt and gray sweatpants everyday, I have heard this issue has already been reported and he was advised, but I still see him only every use the cable machine for the entire time he attends the gym, it really limits how much people can use the cable machines because one will always be taken by him. Other than that this gym is great but if you can people do something about this problem, that would be wonderful. Thank you. Anonymous report.

$20 for a month with HIIT classes? Heck yes. I'm only here in Santa Rosa for a month and was considering joining a CrossFit gym, since that's what I do back home in Seattle. The CrossFit gyms I tried out cost $230+ / mo, so I decided to try the Crunch Fitness HIIT class before I made the decision. Surprisingly, it was pretty challenging. So I decided to save $210 and just sign up with Crunch for $20. The only downsides to Crunch is 1) the name of the gym, whoever is in charge of branding should be working for a cereal company, not a gym company, and 2) the gym is dirty. It's not so dirty that I feel like I'll come home with some skin disease, but it's not the cleanest. They're only charging $20 though so the dirtiness is forgiven. They don't have the money to hire someone to clean the gym lol.

If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would. First off I visited this gym one time and I always say it for a half an hour. The gym was small and it smelled funny. So I decided I was going to go elsewhere. I forgot to cancel my membership that was charged $84 for a place that I've only been to an 1/2 an hour. Tried to contact the manager to see how would I go about getting a refund of some sort and was told no no my money is gone and I should have read the contract better. This is true, but I am a little disappointed that they felt comfortable taking $84 for a service never used. Beware of s sleazy gyms like this.

Great place and affordable, my only complaint is that this gym is super dirty, the machines are pretty nasty when you touch the handles they feel like if you were touching butter. I hope they can steam clean them or do something about it.
It also smells bad, they also should be cleaning the machines at night because the members don’t wipe down the machines after each use.
I hope the gym can fix that problem soon because I am thinking of finding another place less dirty with less people. Thank you

I can tell the owner truly cares about giving customers a quality experience, however this gym is OK at best.

There are not enough machines, and the machines themselves are not the best.

Equipment is never where it should be- instead it can usually be found lying around the weight room.

There are no towels or rags to clean equipment after use- instead they have paper towel dispensers, each with one spray bottle.

Tried to come here using our active and fit direct memberships when visiting Santa Rosa. They would not let us in even though it's included in our membership! Told us we would need to buy day passes 😂😂. Luckily Stan Bennett's set us up for the day. The whole point of active and fit for us is because we are nomadic and usually only in a place for a few days at a time. We have never had this problem anywhere else.

For anyone signing up for a membership through the Active and Fit Direct program, dont delete your fitness card. I visited Crunch fitness back in February to check it out, and I guess they signed me up for a 3 day trial (even though I didn't want it). Then in August I get an email at work saying they will partially reimburse me if I sign up for a gym membership. I went to the gym on August 1 with the paper work from the work program (active and fit direct). The people behind the desk at Crunch took the paper and type something on their computer. They hand me the membership card. I'm confused it went so quickly and they didn't ask me to sign any forms. I asked them if i had to sign anything and they said no. I went in the next day, scanned the card and everything went through. I figured everything was fine. I went in today and scan my card, and the guy says that I am not a member and that I was not allowed in the gym anymore. This took me by surprise, but only a little bit. I explained my side of the story, but he was sticking to his professional stance of "you're not allowed here anymore". After some back and forth he asked for a confirmation email. I didn't get one from Crunch when I signed up, but I still had my work program confirmation email. So I showed it to him. He then takes that info, puts it in the computer and asks me to sign some stuff.
I get that the guy is doing his job, but I am paying for a membership, so it didn't feel great that Crunch was willing to kick me out of their gym without finding out my side of the story.

I liked the gym in general. It is in a good location, easily accessible with plenty of parking. The gym, as well as the bathroom/locker area was very clean. There is a good selection of weights and equipment. I just happen to go during a time that they are generally pretty busy. So that is just a personal preference type of thing. The staff were great, very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I think that once I find a time not so busy I will enjoy working out here more.

I first have to say that I have put off going to a gym, I am shy and out of shape, I mean really. I bit the bullet and walked in last week and signed up. I had to face my fears and put my health and happiness above that. Let me tell you, it is different here, no pressure, kind and they listen. Great prices, 3 different monthly packages to choose from so you can pick what works best.

This place is clean and organized and plenty of equipment. Sanitizer to wipe down the machines, bathrooms etc.

I have never worked with a personal trainer before, I signed up with Malcolm and I am really happy that I did. Two sessions in and I feel supported and listened to. Learning the proper way to do the exercises and also nutrition help. I am looking forward to being a long time client.

To wrap up this review, don't be afraid to go in and check it out. It will take me a while to not feel intimidated but it is not because of anyone there, it is in my own head. They are kind and no judgement!
