Ive been a member since pre covid. I alway get a warm welcoming from all the staff. Tustin crunch offers a wide range of equipment and classes, making it easy to stay motivated and meet fitness goals. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, and the facility is clean and well-maintained all the equipment is returned where they belong rarely see dumbbells laying around the gym. Pretty empty before noon and youll see the same people every day if you go at the same time making it more comfortable and less shy for new gym goers. Overall, a great place to work out and make connections.

Awful employee. I paid to request a song on their rockbot platform. The employee immediately deleted my music and banned my account. The employee only wants to use the company’s resources to listen to their own favorite. They have no respect for their customers. I’ll quit this place after this. I’m writing to address an ongoing issue with a member at your facility, known as "the blind guy." Despite multiple reports to management, the problem continues, making the gym unsafe and uncomfortable for many of us.

The member frequently:

Throws heavy weights (up to 80 lbs), creating a safety hazard.
Uses derogatory language, making the environment hostile and unwelcoming.

It’s disappointing that nothing has been done despite repeated complaints. This behavior violates basic gym rules and poses a serious safety risk.

I urge Crunch Fitness to take action—whether it’s a suspension or even revoking membership. Members deserve a safe and respectful space to work out, and it’s time this issue was handled.

I'm using my son's computer and I just want to say what a lovely time I have a few weeks ago when I visited my daughter in Irvine and attended several Zumba classes there! Also, Destiny was so nice and kind at the front desk when i signed in and told her that I was visiting and using my Crunch membership from another city. She was helpful and super nice. In fact, all the Zumba instructor are absolutely fabulous and the last class I took was with Jin. I definitely will come back, when I visit my daughter again!

I would give negative stars because of horrible management, however the staff are good people, especially Destiny. She is world class and an angel.

I was called by the team to update my card info because I had recently made changes. However after they told me that a fee would be incurred, due to it being a late fee? So I let them know I rather not move forward. The lady spoke to a manager and then assured me the fee would be waived, so I decided to continue with the membership.

Come to find out after looking at my account, I was still charged with the late fee. I sent a message to bring this up and so they can reverse this mistake. Instead, I was met with no help whatsoever. The manager I was messaging, Geselle, said can not fix this. Even though it was their word that no late fee would be charged. She did not want to reverse it, nor skip a month. So I let her know I rather cancel, and she happily obliged.

They rather lose a customer, than too reverse a mistake caused by not keeping their word. No thanks

Very terrible the people were nice but I signed up for the most expensive plan and it said a dollar for the first month that was untrue apparently it’s 5 dollars and you have 5 days to cancel before the charge your the membership fee and then a late fee this makes me just not want to continue trying to find a gym and work out it really hurt my self esteem and my motivation to get in shape

Shady business, They neglected to cancel my membership after going in person to do so, because I was told they wouldn't cancel over the phone or virtually at the time. They then continued to charge me for months before I even noticed on my CC. Now you can supposedly cancel over email (we'll see). The actual facility itself is also trash. I feel like this gym has gotten too crowded over the last few years. The location is too small for the amount of people that go here. Especially during peak hours, good luck finding an empty squat rack or bench press or rowing machine.

The front desk is usually empty every other time. So I just walk through without giving my number at that point. I feel like anyone can sneak in here.

Wish they checked the bottles of sanitizing spray more often. And the paper towel machines. They also are empty or almost empty half the time.

Crunch Tustin is my favorite gym and crunch location to workout at, I’ve been working out here for years and have tried other gyms but the rest don’t compare to Crunch especially this location because the employees are very professional and friendly. They always greet the members entering and leaving the gym, it makes me feel welcome when i workout here and i love it that it’s not too packed so i get to get a good workout. The manager Matt Deily is the best manager they’ve had there because he makes sure that all guests and members are greeted and helped with their memberships and he makes sure that the gym is cleaned and equipped with paper towels and sprays for cleaning the machines.

Went in last night to try do a free trial as I recently moved into the area, the fella with a pony-tail was terrible. Didn't want to give a free trial and tried to push me into signing up straight away and pay the most expensive membership even though I clearly said I didn't want it and I would be going to the gym solo. Eventually said I agreed to sign up for the peak signup, however he told me to get the most expensive one again and cancel it tomorrow so he would get more money/commission. Shocking customer service and I've never been so pressurised in my life to sign up for something. Avoid this fella with the pony tail

This gym is great, it’s no frills, the vibe here is great, the price is reasonable. People of any fitness level and workout experience will fit in just fine and the patrons all keep to themselves and there is truly no judgment here.

The billing and customer service department are atrocious though, it’s all off shore, anyone you speak to on the phone that’s not on site at that gym will barely speak English, they’re rude, the payment processing is goofy and slow. You make payment and it doesn’t come out of your account for 5 days, you miss a payment and the emails and phone calls border on harassment. I’d rather pay more and not deal with this stuff at a different gym, it bums me out that this is how it’s done here because I did feel at home working out at crunch but it only took a few months to get tired of dealing with the company outside of the gym.

I was a member of this gym for a few months. It’s great for the price, staff is friendly. It’s a small gym but has enough equipment to be able to work out no matter what your goals are. I had to cancel and the manager was very nice and understanding. The process was really easy. I might be able to start going here again soon and I am choosing to come back to this gym because of my overall experience, including the easy cancellation process.

Considering this gym? Important read. 👉 Crunch Tustin has an awesome vibe, personable staff, clean machines that if need repair are addressed immediately. The positive nature is upheld by the gym-goers. Oh and free tanning all for $30/mo? Incredible value.

One thing that's important to note is that I had to abruptly move overseas. Nat, the gym manager, was surprisingly supportive and light-hearted, made the cancellation process streamlined (within 3 minutes), provided guardrails in case of issues with corporate and wished me the best of luck.

I've had to cancel from other gym brands. As I'm sure some of you have experienced, the process can be unnecessarily difficult and dragged out. I can't say enough about how well Tustin Crunch manages its facilities and treats its clientele.

100% will be back sooner or later.

Update (12/2022): I'm still not pleased with the tight layout as it can be uncomfortable to navigate. However, the availability of free weights and barbells is great. I rarely have to wait to use equipment. Overall my experience here is satisfactory.

The mark of a great gym isn’t how shiny and new the equipment is or how many extra services they offer that you’ll never use. Instead, it can often be measured by how many of its members consistently show up to work out, and seem happy to be there doing it. That is this Crunch Fitness location. Extremely reasonable prices, especially if you pay for a year in advance. The equipment is plenty nice, and I have never been left wanting more. The best part of this place is that while it is regularly full during peak hours, it never feels over-crowded. Really love the artificial turf in the middle of the gym, along with plentiful squat racks. The ownership here have also been quick to fix broken equipment. It is clear this is a place where both customers and employees value it as a fitness home for many. Stop wasting money at 24 and LA Fitness and sign up for this gym at a fraction of the cost.

Crunch Tustin isn’t terrible but for your money I suggest looking elsewhere. Cleanliness is not a focus here, the bathroom vents have not been dusted in weeks as you can see. The mold is growing in the mens showers & they are so slimy, maybe scrub them a tad bit harder ? Next would be the tub to place your dirty mats is literally a storage bin from Walmart. The rotting bathroom mirrors & also their “cleanliness station”. I recommend using disposable sanitizer wipes or investing into your members experience because at this point it seems you guys are just getting by. If your looking for a gym for a quick workout sesh then this works but if your looking for a home this isn’t it. Invest elsewhere. I hope management doesn’t see this as a rant but ways for them to improve because this location has so much potential it’s in TUSTIN!! Once again do better for your members.

The best Crunch in OC. I say that with passion as I've gone to multiple Crunch's, such as Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Burbank, etc. The 5 stars earned by this gym goes to the following:
1. Staff/Management - Their staff is friendly and they always say hi and bye everytime I enter and leave. This makes my introvert self feel empowered to do extroverted activity throughout my day. Their personal trainers such as Mario are knowledgeable and personally have educated me on how my own body works. In addition, truly an honorable/integrity/ethical gym when enforcing the limit of how many folks are allowed during the pandemic restrictions.
2. Cleanliness is 10/10. Before and during this pandemic, they kept their honor with refilling the bottles with sanitation liquids, copious amounts of paper towels, and hand sanitizers.
3. The fellow gym members. I can say the people here are nice, friendly, and determined. Being how Tustin is centralized to Irvine and Orange, the clientele are older folks and younger folks. Though age could be a factor, I am more confident to say it's the maturity. The maturity of my fellow gym members are higher than other gyms. You'll get a few guys that will go hard with chalk, but nothing out of the ordinary. Other gyms... I've seen very inexperienced users hurting themselves, or 3 people using 1 equipment (menage e trois), or people using 3 machines as 1 exercise with no social mindfulness.
4. Equipment - I have not seen a drop in quality of the equipment. This must mean that they either replace the dirty messed up ropes before I can see or use them, or they certainly take quality seriously. I have also seen a "cable" machine go down for 1 day, and the next day was repaired.

I'm glad they finally lowered the volume on the music, I use to walk out of there with a huge headache. Now they just need to play a variety of music not just hip hop or pop. What about country, classic soft rock, jazz, Christian music? All ages and all walks of life go into the gym, Tustin is a city of mixed ethnicity, therefore maybe consider instrumental music if not a variety.

I was a member at crunch lake Forest they shut down started charging my account when they were shut down, found out they transferred my account to placentia which is a different area code obviously not going to drive there, called and canceled never got my money back. Almost a year later I got a call from a creditor saying I owe them $69.75 had to pay it so it didn't go to my credit,called crunch placentia and district manager told me they had to take the hard stance for the company on this one sorry bro. This was our first time at this particular gym because we were doing business in the area and my queen and I were impressed with the gym. This gym was clean, spacious and organized! This place is at 90 percent packed! No one's wiping the machines and mask wearing people below their noses. It's a cesspool of Covid19 waiting to happen. All LA fitness, 24 hour fitness, planet fitness etc... started coming here. It's just not great to work out at all it gets stuffy at times and the line is about a 40 minute wait just to get inside.

Crunch Fitness Tustin is Excellent. Everyone members and employees help each other like a family. The Front Desk Associates are some of the nicest people I have met. They are friendly, sincere and run the gym with a friendly yet professional manner. The gym is kept spotless and the employees make sure it is kept clean and sanitized. Everything is wiped down constantly and the members help each other in making sure it is sanitary all the time. Mask are required and the front desk associates make sure everyone has there mask on at all times-no question about it. Announcements are made frequently about masks being on. Temperatures are checked upon check-in.

It's got everything you need for a low price of $14.99. The equipment could be better and the number of members has definitely been maxed out. Good luck finding weights to use in the interval of 4-9PM. I'd still recommend for the price and the energies you get from everyone when you go.

awesome place. Been there for a week so far and every work out has been amazing. Staff seems friendly and the people there support a positive vibe. Not like other gyms where I felt judged. This place will be home until my actual home changes locations. Right now, this place just makes sense for me. And not to mention I am getting results! Feelin happy and Crunch Tustin wins. Shout out to Eden for getting me in there and putting up with my bad attitude when I went in for the first time! Thanks staff :)

Lots of cardio equipment which I like. Plenty of free weights too. They also have hydro massage and tanning booths. Lots of classes like Zumba and boot camp.

I like all the fitness equipment they have but a lot of times the weights are all either taken or misplaced, other then that the staff are very friendly. I don’t like the music they play most of the time as it’s too mellow for working out, it’s the kind of music I would listen to if I’m trying to go to sleep.

Good gym ! Friendly staff, a little small and only a few machines, but the woman’s and men’s locker room are unsanitary and have never been cleaned or changed. The woman’s shower curtains have mold and I informed the female staff that there was period blood on the shower curtains and floor and I come back weeks later and it’s still there ! Disgusting! But good place to get a nice workout.

I’d like to say Thank you to the front desk staff and all the fabulous Zumba instructors who are so friendly and welcoming when I visit from Colorado every summer. I grew up in Tustin, and always make it to the Zumba classes at Crunch -Tustin when visiting my folks. I’m also a Zumba instructor teaching in Colorado. The Zumba instructors at Crunch always allow me to teach a few songs and make me feel like a part of their class even though I’m visiting. It is wonderful to see how much Zumba is loved everywhere I go. Z-Love, Donna 💗

I have silver sneakers and come here for the hydro massage bed. It really helps my back. The showers are good. The place is clean. They have a lot of exercise equipment of all types. Free weights pull up bars and tv's. A nice selection of drinks power bars and supplements. Free tee shirt with the peak results membership. Tanning booths and a large mirrored group exercise room. Lots of classes and a boot camp training programs for small groups. Come try the free one day pass.
