Not bad for a neighborhood gym! Needs a bit of a facelift but great equipment and classes and top amenities for the price you're paying. Great workout and great value for the money!

Reliable, clean, lost some members to John Reed and Gold's, but I still enjoy Crunch for a much more mellow experience than, say, Gold's Beverly Center. At Crunch you can have your own space in the locker room without being crowded.

Don’t waste your time going near this dump it stinks, bad quality equipment, and they make it impossible for foreign people to train there and the staff are rude. Typical “ LA “ vibe gym, save the money and go anywhere else.

I've been a member of Crunch Fitness in Chatsworth for a while, and I'm very disappointed with the current situation. I understand that renovations are necessary, but the way the club has handled the closure of the locker rooms is completely unacceptable.
The locker rooms have been closed for renovations, which is fine. However, the club has provided no alternative storage for our belongings. Instead, members are being told to change in the bathroom by the basketball court.
This is not a viable or sanitary solution. It’s a huge inconvenience and honestly feels disrespectful to paying members. We pay for a full fitness experience, and a functional, clean space to change and store our things is a basic expectation.
This lack of foresight and poor planning has made my recent visits incredibly frustrating. I hope Crunch takes this feedback seriously and finds a proper solution for its members while the renovations are underway.

I’m surprised reading all these negative reviews.

I signed up in May and have been working out 5-6 days a week at random hours throughout the day and have had nothing but great experiences here.

The staff is friendly and the amenities that include parking validation (2.5 hours), towel service, sauna, showers (soap/shampoo/ conditioner), plastic bags for wet clothes, hair dryers, and even cue tips.

The staff has been nothing but friendly to me, and since I’ve become a regular, they go out of their way to say hi and converse with me about my day/week , how I’m liking living in the area, and other topics.

The rates are extremely affordable for what you have access to at this gym, giving that it’s located in the heart of West Hollywood on Sunset.

If I’d have to say my one pet-peeve about this gym, it is that they don’t enforce the no cell phone rule while using equipment, buts it’s never been to much of an issue besides once or twice. Somebody was using their phone on one machine for the extent of my 1 hour workout and I didn’t get a chance to use it. I could have probably went up to him and called him out for it, but I just decided to take advantage the other machines and stations they provide that day.

Also, would be nice if they turned the old steam room into another dry sauna, but they keep their one sauna hot and people moving through, so I can’t complain too much.

All around solid gym in a great location and will continue to hold a membership for the foreseeable future.

I'm so glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews. This is a great gym with friendly and professional staff, clean and working equipment, and it's not too busy - even at peak hours. I've been a member for about a month and would recommend if you live in the area. Go talk to Casey and join up. Great gym!

I worked out here from 2021-2022, then again from 2024-2025. (Work took me elsewhere in those middle two years.)

There are many things I have been grateful for.
1) The spacious capacity of the locker rooms.
2) The VIEW.
3) The sense of community I've developed here.
4) The staff's attention, commitment, + thoughtfulness. (Enormous thank you to Casey Callangan, who was consistently a bright light during my unsteady first year in L.A.)
5) How logical the cancelation process has been, both times I've needed to cancel.

I haven't taken advantage of personal training offered here. But, I've observed that the training team overall is professional, diverse, and look like they're having fun. It's my belief that this corresponds to their capacity to effect change in clients, and is a result of strong leadership. So, I would recommend anyone considering improving their life, speak with Fitness Manager Rachel Weaver.

Saying goodbye to this gym is one of the hardest things about leaving L.A. I am incredibly grateful. Thank you.

Had a bad experience with a personal trainer today, July 16th 2025. One of the Caucasian male trainer in the personal training room around 1pm.

I went in the room to use the small bosu ball which I’ve done many times. Before I went inside I checked to see who was in there. All I saw was the trainer laying on a box leaning on his elbow with his legs spread open, it looked like he was about to take a nap. I didn’t think he was training anyone since he presented himself in a very unprofessional manner. If I was paying someone to train me and they presented themselves this way I would fire them. Very unprofessional. So I walked in to grab the bosu ball and of course he starts yelling at me saying “I’m training someone you can’t be in here”. I turned around and see his client is laying on the floor. I couldn’t see his client from the outside. There was no need to be so rude.

So I asked if I can just take the ball outside since there were two of them and no one was using either of them. He tries to make an excuse as to why I can’t use it but it didn’t make any sense. There were two of them and no one was using them. He just wanted to prevent me from using them simply to be rude. He eventually gave in but was trying to dictate where I can workout with the ball. Why does it matter where I take it? You’re not using it and there is a second ball there if you do need it. This was a classic case of power tripping.

These personal trainers need to be reminded that other people working out in the gym are paying customers as well. You can’t treat members poorly just because they don’t sign up for personal training services. Creating a hostile environment for customers is never good for business.

FIX THE AC!!!!!

This gym is unbearably loud, overheated, and increasingly indifferent to the member experience.

Despite signs and surveys referencing “quiet hours,” the music is cranked up to club level at all hours—even in areas that aren’t high-traffic. You can’t even hear your own podcast on noise-cancelling AirPods Pro. Multiple staff members have confirmed that the music is centrally programmed and cannot be manually adjusted—which begs the question: why even ask members for feedback?

After I submitted a thoughtful review through their official survey, I received a tone-deaf email from Rachel Weaver (Fitness Manager) telling me that the volume settings are out of their control. So why solicit input on something you’ve already decided can’t be changed? Either empower your staff to act on member concerns—or stop pretending you care.

The gym itself is also oppressively hot, especially in the cardio zone. No airflow, no AC relief, and no sense of urgency to fix it. Crunch used to be about listening to members and creating a welcoming space. That’s clearly no longer the case.

If you want a gym that values comfort, clarity, and responsiveness—look elsewhere.

A crooked, shady, nasty gym that I think probably does illegal things constantly, including allowing phones in the sauna where you are naked and people could record you. They refuse to enforce their own no phone rules (not to mention I think California state law explicitly makes this a felony).

Crunch West Hollywood, in my opinion, has always been nothing more than a glorified bath house that happens to have a gym. Heck, even their own trainers would be doing the naughty stuff in the steam room. But let's be honest, the gym's basic functions and management have been crumbling for years and it's now, in my opinion, just a "take the money and run gym."

I am not a lawyer, but in 2021 when Covid was bad and we were slowly allowed back out, the health department in no uncertain terms mandated masks. A young woman at the front desk was informed by me REPEATEDLY, enforce your rules -- this is a health public crisis and you are required to comply. The gym did not comply, and numerous people did not wear their masks. I can't be certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if this helped Covid spread.

I am not a lawyer, but they constantly have problems with the AC. During one summer, it became so hot, I seem to recall people might have had potential health issues. When ripped about this, they claimed they couldn't get their landlord to fix it. They have numerous lawyers to bully & intimidate numerous labor board complaints and potential unlawful termination, but suddenly these strong armed lawyers couldn't make a crooked building landlord fix an AC? I don't believe it personally.

I am not a lawyer, but intentionally taking out the steam room was an implied condition of the contract. Now obviously they have some generic release in their, but contracts require good faith -- the gym could simply ban people having naughty action in the steam room (you know who you are -- stop). Instead, they just shut it down, it kinda seems like the classic legal example of an illusory promise or bad faith, both of which nullify a contract. And there's also the issue that the issue that the women's steam room remains open, which I'm not a lawyer, but doesn't that mean Crunch West Hollywood is committing gender based discrimination, which both state and federal law prohibit, but also would nullify the legal contract?

I am not a lawyer, but between myself, Zam, Josh, and another member David, many of us autistic customers constantly feel unwelcomed and and unaccommodated at the gym, which does sound a lot like violations of the California Disabled Persons Act (CDPA) and the federal law known as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

I am not a lawyer, but I seem to recall a number of issues with illegal legal practices. You may want to contact the California labor board to investigate these claims.

I am not a lawyer, but if you see a phone in the steam room or sauna, you should contact local police and the Los Angeles county district attorney. I cannot be certain, but a phone was pointed at me while I was naked. I felt extremely uncomfortable, especially given being repeatedly violated in other ways, and the gym refuses to do anything about it. They seem to think a naked guy being uncomfortable with a phone pointed at his naked body is an unreasonable concern. EVEN THOUGH THE SIGN SAYS NO PHONES...PERIOD, NOT KEEP IT IN YOUR POCKETS, JUST NO PHONES. PERIOD. NO EXCPETIONS. I am not a lawyer, but that seems like a violation of CA Penal Code 631 (but like I said I'm not a lawyer, double check me and ask someone who is a lawyer).

Simply put, Crunch Gym West Hollywood is just another crooked, shady place in West Hollywood. I regret ever renewing my membership. To my fellow autistics, Happy Autism Acceptance month. Never be ashamed of who you are. And to my fellow survivors of violence, next week is national survivor pride. It's never your fault, it's never OK, and getting help is the bravest thing you can do (like I'm doing now by reporting this).

i’ve been a Crunch member for around six months and travel often and pay for a national wide membership. I was in Los Angeles for a meeting and came to the gym in order to change clothes and not even work out was instructed that it would be an additional $10 charge just to use the bathroom. I was directed by a woman named Perisa to go use the public restroom out in the mall area.

Totally disgusting customer service. I will definitely be canceling my membership as soon as I get back to Austin, Texas, and want management to know people and policies like that won’t be accepted by hard-working Americans.

There are some members who abuse amenities at this gym and instead of cancelling the membership of these members, they decided to remove the amenities so that no one can use them. Not sure why they think it is okay to punish all members. Will be canceling my membership. Very bad decision by management.

EDIT: The steam room is now closed. Being an amenity we pay for, a feature of the membership, and part of what makes this gym a "crunch signature" ... this reduces the appeal of the gym. Debating on whether or not to change to Equinox or John Ried. Might be a better value.

This gym is 75% gay men. It’s also well-located, clean, two levels, it has all the equipment/machines/classes a person could want, and the huge locker room has a hot sauna & steam room. The people who work here are great. In terms of large West Hollywood area gyms that don’t cost a million dollars a month, this is easily the best.

Someone did brake into my locker and stole my wallet and phone. Then on another day someone stole my slides…. And then the other day someone stole my toiletries. So there is a downside. But I have a better lock now and I’m more careful with my things

Not really worth it. You can get the membership around $55 a month. But within this range you can easily get another gym with more and newer equipment. And if you’re a gay people, this might not be a safe place for you anymore. Got assaulted by a homophobic person last Friday evening at the locker room. Already gave up on the management, they’re not gonna do anything for us.

"My Favorite Gym Experience – 10 Stars If I Could!"

This gym truly feels like a second home. The atmosphere is welcoming, filled with polite, goal-oriented people sharing the space, and it’s easy to feel comfortable here. Everyone is friendly, the classes are both fun and challenging, and the equipment is always in excellent condition.

Cleanliness is clearly a top priority, with staff and members alike keeping everything spotless. The vibe is just right—no elitist attitudes, no “meathead” atmosphere. It’s a community of people focused on their health and fitness in a genuinely motivating space.

The locker rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with private showers that offer quality products—perfect for scrubbing up after a great workout. Plus, the dry sauna and steam room are ideal for detoxing, leaving you refreshed and rejuvenated.

The trainers are fantastic too—supportive, knowledgeable, and committed to helping you achieve your goals. Beyond fitness, the gym is a great social outlet, perfect for making new friends or keeping up with low-key acquaintances.

If I could rate it 10 stars, I absolutely would!

Hi Everbody, I hope you all read my review, but I do not recommend this gym! Especially their personal trainers! I was on a monthly plan, and I asked the trainer to stop because I was away for a while. Yet she still went ahead and charged my account over 1k of monthly sessions when I was super specific not to! She told me today that they can't refund my account! I tried calling the gym but they won't get back to me.

I've been a member of Crunch Gym West Hollywood for 6 years, but the quality has drastically declined. It's not worth it anymore. I've been to many other Crunch Signature locations in NYC, and compared to those this one is by far the worst and should be considered none signature.

I come in the early mornings, and the front desk staff never greet members often half asleep or often on their phones or personal laptops. The bathrooms are uncomfortable, with creepers lingering around the showers and sauna, Equipment is old compared to any other crunch signature gyms and will not be replaced anytime soon. Barbells are, some are rusty and poorly maintained, they have old stretching mats and a lack of essentials like bands — often stolen and definitely not what you'd expect from a high-end gym.

Staff are dismissive when you provide feedback, and the AC barely works during summer with loud fans overhead make it unpleasant to work out.

There's a high turnover of personal trainers, and the new ones are rude to members and need training on customer service. Training clients while on their phones. Their suppose have a DJ in the weekends and that has been scraped.

I reported several issues to management, but they brushed it off. RR room is now off-limits to members and reserved for trainers only.

Dear God,

Please explore other options in fitness. I was a member for about four years. When I decided to end my membership, the manager, management, and billing department sent me from one department to another in order to end my service, all the while continuing to bill me.

In business, it's the entire service from beginning to end that keeps customers and brings them back. In Los Angeles, there are a multitude of really great gyms. Let my experience advise you on your decisions.

Very disappointing gym, broken machines plus rude staff. After questioning why my balance was still due for those months when my member wasn’t cancelled during covid due to closure of gym I was still penalized and my credit was affected by their fault their own. Yet no help was offered and had to make a payment to remove it from my credit report. After trying to solve it for years. Stay away from this gym, you’ll get ripped off and there are way better gyms locally in the same price range

This was gym heaven. I’ve been to over five crunch locations and this has to be my favourite. The layout is great - spacious and well organized. The gym was very clean. The washrooms were well kept and equipped with blowers, straighteners, and all I needed to get ready after my workout. I used a day pass a few times and would definitely return to this gym again. Too bad I’m Canadian 😂 but highly recommend going in the morning before 7 as it was quite quiet. There weren’t many squat racks but the machines made up for it

I went last week and it was great. Well stocked gym and very high end. Apparently, too high end for me though! I've had a membership based in the downtown Long Beach location for over a year now, and when I needed to move to Hollywood for personal and professional reasons, I was assured by the staff there that I could use my membership here because I have the plus version. Apparently though, that wasn't true. I'm not sure how I got in last week, but apparently if you have a franchise membership you have to pay $10 every time you work out. I'm only saying this in case anybody else with a crunch membership thinks they can stop here to get a quick session in while they're in the area, or if they're traveling. Too bad, but it's a cool spot if you can afford it!

Hi!
I had a very terribel experience at this place. Im from Denmark and visiting LA. I was staying at a hotel in West Holywood where i saw this fitness close to me. I found the website and saw it were possible to get a free 1 Day-pas for filling your mail and phone-number - so i did that. When i arrived i get told that it is only for citizens of LA that can achieve the free trial, which it didnt say anywhere on the site! Completely scam to afterwards charge me 35$ to train at a regular fitness.
I would never recommend anyone to go train at this facility.

There are never enough clips for the benches and racks, nor are there enough bars. I have asked for months at the front desk and this never changes. It can't cost more than a month of one person's membership to have more than enough if things are constantly being moved around.
They've supposedly fixed the AC although they don't seem to run it. They have the fans unplugged or with no way of turning them on so it is always hot. There are no fans in the center of the gym where the majority of people are. It's disgusting.
No staff ever walks around to put equipment back in place.
The bathroom always smells like vomit.

Overall, Crunch is great value, has good equipment, is not too busy, and has excellent staff, classes, and personal trainers (BIG shout-out to Lauren, the manager, and PT Bridget). It's not too expensive and doesn't require you to sign a long contract.
I've loved every class I've taken - and they've all kicked my butt! I also enjoy a good steam room afterward.

Great gym for women since it’s mostly gay men! Very safe and chill environment. The towels are a little small, but I appreciate that they have them. The free weight area is usually pretty busy, but a way around it is using the class studio when they’re not having classes.

I do wish they had more times for mat Pilates, the only time they offer doesn’t work with my schedule, but they have many HIIT classes for people who are into those.

The women’s locker room is nice and equipped with shampoo, conditioner, soap, mouthwash, qtips, lotion, hair dryer, flat iron and curling iron.

I’m a former 2017 member who moved to personal training and then to a gym closer to work in the South Bay until the pandemic. I re-joined (May 2023) after visiting several gyms in the area due to location, certain equipment, public health approach & the ability to pay for a year w/ some personal training perks.

1. Front Staff: The people attacking the front staff in the comments were likely doing that to them in person. Whether in 2017 or my recent return in 2023, I’ve never encountered a rude front desk staff member or really any staff member. I HAVE witnessed and experienced an occasional rude member.

2. Cleanliness measures: Crunch is way better with cleaning staff operating throughout the day and not just at night. I wipe down machines and mats and have seen more people do this at Crunch than my last gym.

3. Public Health: I like that this isn’t an anti-mask environment like the South Bay. There’s no judgement or comments if people choose to wear a mask to class or throughout the gym. I like the meter on the app to get an estimate on how busy the gym is.

My last gym in the South Bay had an outbreak and was very non-chalant, anti-mask and didn’t prioritize cleaning. I loved that gym, but there was an anti public health, anti-mask vibe. Crunch is my first indoor gym experience since 2021. I like that people can mask, there’s a meter to gauge busy times and lot of cleaning stations.

4. Personal training & nutrition products: I like my trainer and while the sessions are competitively priced with some of the independent trainers, there are frequent discount opportunities. I like the dot-fit products because of the NSF 3rd party testing. As a former supplement compliance person, I respect this organization. The company seems solid as opposed to many random brands. There are many options protein shake wise. The protein powder seems competitively priced. I really like the Calcium/Magnesium supplement. There are sales and it’s competitive with costs in the stores. In fact, it’s cheaper with more transparency than many companies in stores.

5. Classes: I really enjoy the dance classes and the yoga is great. I like the yoga room. The other classes look fun. I haven’t tried them yet.

Cons: Yes, the building had an air issue as someone noted. I was fine. It has been fixed and the staff made us aware and brought in portable air conditioners to help mitigate the issue. There was a sign that the building resolved this issue.

I recommend bringing your own hip circle band and hip thrust padding. There are often a lot of people and things get lost.

This gym is one of the worst I’ve ever been to considering the price for a monthly membership. From the sign up process, the whole experience has been terrible. The person signing me up promised a promotion and after I gave them the payment information they said that the price was only available at other locations so I had to sign up for the regular pricing without the promotion. They wouldn’t honor the pricing we agreed on. Then the gym itself.. the equipment is very old and half the machines make noises they shouldn’t be making. There are only 6 benches or so throughout the gym, so if you come in during busier times, prepare to wait for equipment. Lastly the atmosphere is not great. Most days they will blast music so loud that you can hear it through noise canceling headphones. If you ask them to turn it down, they will say that corporate mandated that volume. Some days too there is training groups at the cardio section so you have to suffer through a drill Sargent screaming at people.. in addition to the insufferable music. Planning on switching my gyms very soon.

I've owned and operated multiple fitness clubs (franchise and independent label) for more years than I can count... all that is to say, I know how hard it is to maintain quality class instructors. And this particular location is incredibly impressive in the variety of classes it offers and the caliber of the classes themselves. Demetrius has put together a team of yoga, spin, dance, circuit, atb, shred, circuit instructors that is exceptional.
These instructors inspire and push you right up to the point you need to be pushed that particular day, without pressure or shame, but rather encouragement and self-empowerment. It's quite amazing actually. They truly care about the people attending the classes, trust me you feel it. Most importantly you leave with a feeling of accomplishment, a feeling of community, and a feeling of emotional levity. I actually used to lift weights exclusively and now, well I find that I'd rather spend that limited precious time we all have at the gym in one of these wonderful classes.

COLIN K is a gem of a person. He has meaningfully changed my life, way beyond just the physical gains for which we often initially come to a gym. I've grown in the way I deal with the world, both spiritually and practically. All of which is so much more important than how many lbs I curl or how many miles I run, and yet I find myself in the the best shape of my life.
I assure you, the rest of the instructors on the team are awesome as well. This gym really provides something for everyone.

*And please DO NOT be turned away from this gym because of this minor air conditioning issue, it is not that serious. The temperature in the gym is totally fine, in fact some areas I find are actually too cold. They are honestly doing the best they can, it is so apparent in their efforts. I can tell you from decades of experience, there is no temperature that will satisfy all the members of any gym, that is a fact.
BOTTOM LINE, here it is... I go to a fitness facility to sweat, to burn some calories, to smile, and to leave a better person than when I came. I think by now you all know exactly where I will be. Peace.

Poor air conditioning. It’s very hot on the weight floor. Often too hot to do a full workout on many summer days; Potentially dangerous conditions. Gym manager was understanding & helpful and seems it’s a building owner issue. Hope it’s resolved soon. Update 8/1: some acknowledgement and changes seem to be implemented

DO NOT REGISTER, SIGN UP or even come as a guest.
This is the third summer that this gym has the air conditioner issue ( & it’s always summer in LA)
Same lies & excuses as years before.
They added 3 useless AC units which made the situation worst & it’s like a disgusting HOT YOGA.
Bring your tea bag for the water fountains.
For additional, the plaza’s elevators are always broken.
Trust me, drive less than 10 mins to get to another gym. Anywhere BUT HERE.
This gym doesn’t worth a dollar.
We just canceled our membership today.

AC has been broken for 3 consecutive summers. Brought a digital thermometer to the weight room today (7/26/23) and it was 92.5 degrees Fahrenheit (see attached photo). You’ve had more than enough time (3 years) to fix this — it’s now unacceptable.

As far as amenities, this is best crunch I’ve been at. Towels and steam room and sauna are fantastic. The AC being broken is terrible. Because its not enough fans. And
With machines close together, people close together workout, makes it unbearable,
And hard to breathe. Didnt like the rate of pay for parking. Validation of your ticket doesn’t help with cost of pay.

I have been a member for about 4 years and I love it. The only gym I have found (and I have explored a lot) outside of the $250+ that has incredible classes and a regular gym with equipment. Yoga room, fitness room and spin room, which is perfect because I love to take classes and get my weight training in 2-3 days. Colin K is one of the best instructors I have ever had and I have been following him since the first spin class I took!!! His classes are challenging and his motivation in class is truly inspiring. I stay majority because of him. I also want to shout out Andrew and Demetrius for their great classes and always pushing me. These instructors are really special and make my Crunch experience what it is. Parking is easy, towel service, steam room/sauna/showers, everyone is nice and it is always clean.

Only down side is I wish the weight room was bigger and they can add more machines so there is 0 waiting. This can be an issue if its rush hour... leg machines are not available quite often. I hope one day they move into a bigger space and open one on the West Side too so I can go when I am traveling to that side of town. I want a Crunch everywhere. :)

Don’t bother joining - it’s not worth it.

The focus is on sales, not managing and maintaining the club. For the second year in a row, the A/C has been broken all summer. The problem started in May, it’s now September, and no progress. They have a sign at front desk blaming the landlord. Under the lease, Crunch is responsible for the AC, not the Landlord. The club was recently closed for a day due to no electricity. The sign on the door sated it was out all over, yet Trader Joes, the theater next door and Salon Republic all had power. The power was out due to non-payment of the utility bill - Crazy! Management doesn’t care about unhealthy conditions like no AC, dirty locker rooms, and broken equipment. Sales are all they care about.

If you’re considering to signup in in this gym I highly recommend to think again. It’s been more than 3 months (basically since the heat started) that the ACs are not working and they are using few fans to in the gym.
There is no air circulation and it’s smelly and stuffy. It smells like sweat and damp everywhere .
And then the water fountains. The water fountains are on and off and when they work the water it almost hot. No matter how much literally every member complained nothing has changed. They try to tempt you to sign up so you can use the classes but it’s so hot in the classes that you won’t be able to breath.

Great location, but poorly managed. Not a clean gym. Health and safety are not a priority.
More emphasis is placed on sales. Machines are outdated, but it's not the biggest issue. How disgusting the gym is is the major concern.
Machines, bathrooms, studios, and equipment are filthy everyday. Machines are always covered with dried sticky film first thing in the morning (5am).
There are no cleaning members cleaning or touching up throughout the day. Studio floors are often dirty.
Front desk and management are pleasant and their working quarters are clean, but the gym is beyond disgusting.

Truly pains me to write this bad review because I've been a happy customer of this gym for over 8 YEARS. Never had a problem with the gym itself and after reading all of the HORROR STORIES about canceling the membership I thought that as a valued customer for so long I would have a pleasant experience. I WAS VERY WRONG. The minute I tried to cancel because I was moving away it's like I immediately became an ENEMY that they would fight to try and get the last cent out. I cancelled months ago and had to contest countless credit card charges and block them from making random charges whenever they please. Got one new charge TOFAY OUT OF THE BLUE after months of not seeing anything. THIS IS A TRUE NIGHTMARE.
Also, that email they respond the reviews with appearing like they want to help is a joke. Used it repeatedly to get in touch and was a nightmare being rerouted from person to person. The managers at the actual gym couldn't care less and anytime I was telling them I had this issue they brushed me off telling me to call billing. Of course when I call billing they say to call the manager of the gym. It's like they have this very planned scam in place making people waste a ton of time hoping they get tired and get a few charges thru. After OVER 8 YEARS of bringing my business to this company it is a SHAME THEY WOULD TREAT A VALUED CUSTOMER LIKE THAT.
And to that person that will reply to this review with a standard "we are so sorry bla bla bla... contact us at this email bla bla bla..." NO people have better things to do than waste their time contacting you guys because you are making unauthorized credit card charges! You can deal with the credit card company tarting it as fraud, because that's what it is. Thanks!

It is a gym with good equipment and structure but very hot in summer I have to keep asking them to turn on the fans since the air conditioning is always under maintenance and the fans suddenly stop and then I have to go to the reception many times asking them to turn the fan back on. I've had my bank cards stolen from my purse twice in the lockerroom. plus a personal trainer sold me a monthly package of private lessons and stopped working at the gym the next week. I requested the refound and they denied it. I cancelled my membership with Crunch Fitness on June 10th under the following California Law: California Health Club Studios Contract - Civil Code - CIV § 1812.85 section (c): I was owed $30.00 for a half month in March as well as $60.00 for the last month of my membership which I paid up front upon signing up (which was obviously never used). I received an email from Crunch on July 4th confirming that they would refund me and that it would take 2-3 weeks. I began following up with them in late July and then in August. They stopped returning my emails and it has now been 82 DAYS since I cancelled my membership and I still have NOT BEEN REFUNDED the $90.00 they owe me and AGREED TO SEND ME. Very disappointed in the way Crunch has handled this situation. Hopefully we can resolve the situation, otherwise I'll have no recourse except filing a small claims court case when e-filing becomes available again in the near future.

Great ambience, clean space, functional layout, towel service, and an amazing staff. Rob and Mike helped me sign up, and they were so incredibly helpful and kind. My only complaint would be that the lockers in the locker room require you to bring your own lock. There is plenty of new technology nowadays where you can enter in a 4 digit combo to lock your belongings, but hopefully that will be updated in the near future. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place. If you’re looking for a quality gym in WeHo, this place is it!
