Our daughter took tumbling classes here for several years while enjoying basketball and volleyball. When she wanted to give cheer a try, Coast was a great place to start because they offered a non travel team that was inexpensive and a manageable time frame. The opportunity to try it, supportive coaching and patient staff to help us navigate our questions helped our daughter discern that she loved it and wanted to be on a competitive. Her first year, she was on a Level 2 prep team that was a great introduction to club cheer: she loved her coaches and grew a TON! Her second year she made the level 3 senior team and again, great coaching and hard worked paid off with an incredible season and her making a very rigorous and selective high school team. We are incredibly thankful to the coast coaches and staff that have made the last 2 years exceptional and laid the groundwork for our daughter to excel and have the opportunity to cheer in high school after just 2 years of club. The gym is organized, helpful and we greatly the flexiblity of scheduling tumbling classes. We highly recommend Coast Spirit!

My daughter is on her 2nd year of competitive cheer at CSA. We LOVE it here. Itβs a local family owned gym with fabulous cheer coaches that truly care about the girls here and their safety. My daughter has progressed so quickly and they help every step of the way with coaching and support. They also foster strong team spirit and the kids are all very encouraging and supportive of each other. We drive a bit to get here and itβs so worth it.

The 5-6 year old Tiny Novice team was an utter disappointment. We paid over a $1000 for a few months of the coaches yelling at my 6 year old, telling her she as doing terribly and not letting her go to the bathroom when she asked to. It was discouraging and over priced. This team does not stunt, does not tumble, and does not compete against anyone so that they win their division. Not an uplifting program for small children. Maybe better for older girls who are ok with harsh criticism. My 6 year old left crying most days after practice. There was favoritism, bullying, revolving coaches, and disrespect from the owner when I mentioned anything. What a disappointing experience.

Our daughter began at CSA in a cheer/tumbling class 5 years ago. We chose CSA because it was close to JSerra HS that our eldest son was commuting to, and also because they have a special needs cheer team (we have another son w/special needs). Our son graduated HS, but we stayed at CSA, and drive from Oceanside 3 Times/week because our daughter has made friends at CSA, the coaches are great: inspirational, motivational, and believe in the athletes, and because the owners and coaches instill values and lessons into the girls.

After my daughter had an extremely disappointing experience on a different cheer team we found CSA. The owner, Karen is wonderful, kind and welcoming. Our family, especially my daughter is delighted to be part of CSA.
