Dare strength
I’ve been training at dare strength for about a month and a half, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. The facility is top-notch, with good equipment and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable.

CrossFit literally changed my life. I was overweight and very unhappy. I wasn't just comfortable physically, but there was a time that I was struggling emotionally and little did I know that starting CrossFit was going to improve my life in ways I did not expect. Classes are awesome! Every class is designed to target a different part of the body. The instructor is always paying attention to all of us and making sure we do the exercises properly to avoid injury. I like it here because the instructor always gives us recovery exercises, and send us nutritional suggestions.

Dare Strength is starting me on a new journey to a healthier and fit lifestyle. I stumbled upon Dare Fitness on Google, I was very anxious to even begin this journey until I met Coach Daniel. After meeting Coach Daniel was my first time succeeding in losing weight. It didn’t happen overnight and took me over a year to finally settle into the habit of working out and eating better, but every workout and every healthy meal has built up to now where I lost 10 pounds and counting. I moved cities but I am continuing coaching with Coach Daniel to get my body to where I feel confident in, but I miss working out with the other members in an environment where everyone is pushing to be a better version of themselves and working towards their own goals.

Coach Daniel made sure that I focused on proper stance and formation and there was no pressure on overdoing exercises I wasn’t ready for. I've tried different methods and facilities for weight loss and health improvement, but no place or thing was anywhere as effective as this gym. Coach Daniel is really knowledgeable about all things health, and he is also very encouraging. There's really no judgement from the coach or the people you work out with; everyone is very nice and supportive. I can say with confidence that my time at this gym has been some of the best I've had in terms of self improvement, not just physically but also mentally as well.

This is not your traditional crossfit. Great Environment to learn and get in shape. Think of this as more of a Individualized complete personal training, even down to nutrition. Daniel is great and extremely knowledgeable. Daniel is also very conscious of everybody's limitations, I have a lot of existing injuries and he works around them and works with me to rehab them and get me functional. I recommend this to anybody, especially if you have never done crossfit before.

Crossfit Dare is a great place to learn and continue your health and fitness journey. I started here a few years back when I was looking for something to get back into shape and little did I know I would be a part of an amazing and encouraging community.

What I love about this place is that Coach Daniel will get to know you a bit about you before you start, which I feel is important to know what goals, injuries, etc one might have. He has quarterly 1on1 meeting to check if we are still on track with our goals and if he can help us out achieve those goals.

I definitely recommend this box and if you are in town looking for a box to workout while in the area stop by Crossfit Dare.

I LOVE CROSSFIT DARE !!!!!

This is a place where you can work out your body as well as your mind amongst great people with an amazing coach to guide you through every step of the way. I have been an avid Classpass user who also had active memberships at yoga, pilates and bootcamp studios. All those places were fine but I soon got bored of the monotonous workouts and impersonal environments. I heard great things about crossfit so I decided to check out the boxes that were around me. After my free trial class at Dare, I knew this was the place to be. Coach Daniel was very attentive and was by my side the entire hour, helping but also asking questions to understand my fitness needs. He never was once pushy about signing up and when I left, I just knew this was where I wanted to start my crossfit journey.

Ever since I've signed up, I look forward to every class I go to! Everyday is a new workout targeting different goals but the best part about Crossfit Dare is that I feel like I am part of a sports team. Everyone is incredibly supportive and there to help you. You feel as if you are part of a team goal as opposed to a personal one which keeps me more motivated. All classes consists of a combination of stretches, cardio, strength training and weights. You always get the full body experience by the end of the week! There is truly nothing bad I can say about Crossfit Dare.

Oh! and my brother, who has not worked out in 10 years begrudgingly came for a trial session after weeks of me pestering him. He fell in love with the box and is now a member too! He too says he looks forward to every class. I think that says a lot about how wonderful this place is :)

Tremendous place to get fit and learn about your body. This I have learned has to do with mobility, strength and conditioning and how they compliment each other. Coach Daniel cares about the members and from the top on down it's the best place I have found to train.

Crossfit can be seen as a brutal workout that is " not for everyone," however Crossfit Dare Owner/Head Coach Dan really creates an environment where each athlete can feel at home, thrive and definitely reach there goals. It is a great facility and everyone really looks out for each other. I've been going to Crossfit Dare for approximately 4 months and have no intentions on stopping.

Great place to train and learn crossfit. Coach Daniel is an excellent teacher and very accommodating to your personal goals, fitness level, and especially fatigue level during the week. It's a pretty chill, friendly environment, not to say you'll be chilling during the WOD. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a box or on the fence with trying crossfit.

Because of aging process, osteoporosis found in my bones, and "advanced stage" of my right hip. So, I joined CrossFit Dare 3 years ago. Coach Daniel modified WOD for me according to my age (I am 60 years old) and my needs. Now no more left knee pain nor right hip discomfort. I feel much better, and I am getting stronger...

This review is coming from someone who is still a beginner.
If you are thinking of joining Crossfit Dare and looking for the perspective of someone who just got into it, then this review is for you.

I had been trying everything I can to lose weight and be fit, I tried going on diets, I joined 24 hour fitness and for a while, I was getting results. The main issue I had was that although I joined 24 hour fitness, I had no idea how to do any exercises or use any of the machines so I was always stuck using the treadmill and elliptical only. I then decided I needed to do something else to be fit. I looked into personal trainers, I looked into other crossfit gyms before I finally found Crossfit Dare.
When I first met coach, I was really impressed by the attention and how knowledgeable he was to every question I asked. He also had a lot of questions for me as well, I think he was trying to gauge if I was ready and willing for the challenge. Crossfit is not easy and I knew I was ready for the challenge so he asked me to come in for a class and see what I thought.

All new users need to go through a ramp up class before you begin the normal workouts of the day, these ramp up classes help you learn all the proper movements and proper techniques of the workouts so that you don't end up hurting yourself. During the ramp up classes, you will be corrected a lot for anything done wrong, you will be asked a lot of questions from the coach such as if anything hurts or where you are feeling the exercise the most, remember, this is all crucial to make sure you are doing it right.

The gym itself has a very warm and welcoming culture to it. One of the things I hated about being a 24 hour fitness member was the meat-head mentality of the people at the gym making beginners like me feel intimidated, Crossfit Dare is not like that at all. From day 1, everyone welcomed me to the gym and introduced themselves. When I had chats with other members and explained how I was frustrated I could not do a proper squat, they were all very understanding and reminded me that they were all there at one point too but that I would get it soon. The gym also has group events that get scheduled outside of the workouts such as hikes and a recent bowling night. This is the type of culture the gym has developed, one that feels like a very tight knit family.

I am so glad that I joined but I must stress, it is not easy! But hey, that's what I signed up for and that's what I knew I was getting in to. Every time I go in, I am wondering how I will ever get through the workout of the day and every time I finish it, I feel so happy and proud that I got through it........ and I'm just beginning! I know that things will get harder but you know what? I'm ready for it all thanks to Coach and Crossfit Dare!
