I began training with Daria to focus on toning up and preventing muscle loss in my 30s. She designed a customized workout plan tailored to my body’s needs, and after just three months of weekly sessions, I noticed major improvements in the definition of my legs, arms, and back.
Not long after, I unfortunately had a fall and ended up with my wrist and forearm in a cast. Daria immediately adapted my workouts so I could continue training safely. Once the cast was removed, she guided me through rebuilding stability in my wrist and gradually regaining grip strength.
I truly attribute much of my healing and progress to Daria’s expertise. Her deep knowledge of gym equipment, weights, and ability to modify the workouts for injury recovery is impressive, and her genuine care and support come through in every session. I started my training with Daria when I was stationed in San Diego back in 2021-2022. I had no clue what I was doing in the beginning, but she helped me build a solid program to begin working out in earnest and build levels of strength and endurance I never had before. All I have to say is WOW. you never realize how bad other trainers are until you train with Daria. She is amazing. She helped me reach small goals in such a. Short amount of time it’s truly insane. I’ve worked with several trainers over the years, but none of them compare to Daria. She’s hands down the best trainer I’ve ever had. What sets her apart is not just her knowledge, but her passion for health and fitness. You can tell when she talks about the “why” behind each workout, and when she sends me informative videos and podcasts to help deepen my understanding.

Daria’s initial program to rehab an injured shoulder was largely successful, and she quickly transitioned me to other full-body training programs that were meticulously curated for me. Daria has really set herself apart from other “rep counter” trainers with her nutritional guidance. Unlike the latest designer restrictive diet, Daria had me eat more of food from options that were already available to me. Following this initial success, Daria has continued to adjust my diet and specific supplementation, completely changing my relationship with food.
What makes Daria elite? Daria’s training programs are not inspired by the latest Instagram craze exercises, but based on the latest science on exercise physiology. Daria not only stays up to date with the current research but has passed along these fascinating articles to me and has suggested other additional reading on other topics of interest to me and my health. I’ve been working with Daria for almost a year now, which is the longest amount of time I’ve been consistent with strength training. I’ve done fitness apps and YouTube work outs, worked with other personal trainers (online and in person), and even tried making my own programming. I still have never been as consistent as I have since I started working with Daria. She is both a kind and tough and will do anything for the good of her clients.
She has experience working with all sorts of clients, from people wanting to build daily wellness habits, to those recovering from injury, to those at a high level of fitness wanting to push themselves even further. Her own personal journey with body building has driven her to stay up to date with the latest research studies around wellness practices. She also practices what she preaches as a trainer and often does the very programming that she works on with clients (adjusted specifically to the clients needs and goals, which not all programming does) and also eats the meals she suggests to clients.
She has a great understanding of when to push someone physically and when recovery is warranted, as well as the eye of a hawk as she makes micro adjustments to form to maximize everything that you’re doing.
She has made it incredibly easy to be consistent and show up for myself the past year when it was never easy in the past. I feel physically stronger and much more empowered in the gym than I did a year ago. Although she has set me up with a great foundation to go off on my own with strength training, I have continued to train simply because I enjoy working with her. Personal training is not a light expense, but the value that she provides is evident by the numerous clients who continue to work with her on a long term basis!

Daria has made all the difference in my training this year! Her knowledge and attention to detail enabled her to put together great workouts that strengthened me, while working around my hip labral tear injury. (I had previously worked with trainers at other locations that were unable to do this). As a result, we improved my strength and stamina and I was in great shape going into my surgery. Training with Daria has changed my perception of working out so much and in the best way. I considered myself an active person. i would weight lift 2-3 times a week and do stairs or cardio 1-2 times a week but the issue i was having was staying consistent and also i was not retaining muscle growth
I trained with Daria weekly. When i had my consultant she asked me what my fitness goals are and what my current workout routine was. I emphasized that I was to rest in muscle growth. I have always been on the smaller side - 4’11” at 110-115 pounds - healthy but just small. During that consultation we tested my mobility, my strength and from there she customized a program that was geared towards my goals and added some variety to my daily workouts that didn’t naturally do before.
She taught me that consistency is key and this didn’t just apply to how many times I work out a week but also applies to the workouts I do each session. I remember it as the “6-week cycle”. We would stick to the routine cycle, every Monday, same workouts, and gradually increasing weight to build strength. There were definitely challenging days mentally but Daria was ALWAYS supportive in those moments which help me shift focus and stay motivated.
Examples of our workout days would be 3 leg workouts, 3 upper body workouts and would switch off through the session, again, increasing weight gradually with almost every session. I trained with Daria for a little over a year and the process showed. I met my goal of gain 10lbs but the bonus was it was healthy weight and it showed in my muscle growth. Although we were not focus on nutrition, I shared that eating enough of the right protein was a struggle for me and she gave me some tips and insight here as well.

Daria knows her stuff!!! She creates individual plans for all her clients, taking into account, wants, needs, food intake, rest days. She writes everything down which I love because every week we can see the progress on paper. She has helped me through a shoulder injury/rehab/strengthening those specific muscles and referred me to the best sports massage/body work specialist there is! The two of them communicate with me and with each other on my progress and I feel so well taken care of. She also calls me out when I’m not sticking to our plan which holds me accountable.
