David Knox at the Napa Golf Course leads an outstanding PGA Junior Golf program for children of all ages, skill sets and financial situations. The JM Champ Foundation supports children that truly wants to learn to play golf. David Knox has not only helped teach my son to golf, but golf has helped build his self esteem, teach him manners such as looking a person in the eye when you shake there hand. He looks forward to spending time away from the screen.

This junior golf league is awesome! My son loved every bit of it. This league can teach you to golf and/or help you to be better. David Knox and all of the coaches are great with the players and they emphasize greatly on sportsmanship. Their level of expertise is just what the players need to learn. I loved that the older kids really help out with the younger ones. My son was a beginner and it was a lot of fun to watch him progress in his golf skills. I can’t wait to watch him progress more and more over time.

David was beyond helpful with our family golf lesson. He was informative and able to adapt the lesson to the varying levels of expertise, which ranged from beginner to intermediate. I took David's "Ladies on Course" lessons last month and thanks to some simple tips on grip and swing follow-through I just played my second best round ever on the hardest course I have ever played. Can't wait for him to offer another series of lessons!

I participated in "Ladies on the Course with David" at Napa Golf Course. I've had more than a few golf instructors. David Knox especially shines. His teaching points are clearly demonstrated and easily understood. David's humor and zest make him an exceptionable teacher.

It was a lot of fun to watch my 8 year old son discover his love for golf in his first golf season with David Knox in the Napa Junior Golf League. He enjoyed himself and grew so much in his skills and confidence in just 5 weeks. Family friendly environment for us all to watch him during the matches as well. Very happy we found this league!

David is an exceptional golf instructor! My wife and I took the “Get Golf Ready 1” course with David at the Napa Golf Course and we covered an amazing amount of material—both about the sport and step by step instructions on how to play. And we had lots of fun doing this. David is really passionate about the game and he took great care to make sure we started out on the correct path. We could not imagine a better way to get started with golf and give David our highest recommendation!

David does a great job motivating the kids - all levels of play and all ages. This was our first league experience and we were very happy with how smoothly the practices and matches went. Our son was a 100% beginner and had only played putt-putt golf before. In no time, he made big progress with drives, chips and understanding the game, scrambles, etc. David has a lot of enthusiasm for the sport and for passing that on to children of all golf skill levels. I appreciated his attention to detail each practice and match. We are signed up for the next league!

I have absolutely loved learning to play golf from David. He is incredibly patient and makes the time to explain all the Who, What, Where, Why and Whens. He helps us to understand from A-Z the game of golf....it’s so much more than just swinging a club. (Although that’s the best part!) He gives us confidence and encouragement all the time.
