Very poor business practices as a private club. My brother is on the Del Norte swim club, and we had attempted to watch him during one of his practices as we had prior. The young bearded attendant who we attempted to purchase food from the snack bar from, made a huge fuss about myself and my family attending the practice without a membership. My father who was being firm yet decisive with his words, started getting cussed out by this guy, who kept insisting and citing precinct that had no bearing on the situation. It got to the point where this guy was literally shaking in anger, and he decided to angrily close the window in frustration. From that point, we had a lengthy conversation with the manager who had no true interest in trying to resolve the root of the situation, and started quoting about how their facilities were akin to "disneyland" and how even as direct relation to the swimmer, we could not simply observe my little brother swim without a $10 charge to watch him swim for an hour. Threats were also made to call the police for trespassing, and the whole scene devolved and got completely blown out of proportion. The use of the "lofty" facilities of Del Norte which a shaded roof area is designated enough to be considered an amenity for club members apparently. I just really was appalled how the whole situation was handled on their end, and if you are looking into enrolling your loved one into the swim program, I would recommend another program that can accommodate your devotion to your child and their talents.

Iβve been a member of this club for years, but unfortunately, the service has declined while prices have increased significantly. What disappointed me the most is their complete lack of empathy toward disabled children. Iβve since found other facilities that offer better service at a more affordable price. I also heard that Lifetime will be opening a branch in the Arcade area, which Iβm looking forward to. I highly recommend exploring other options.

The water quality of the swimming pool is too dirty, there is sand under the water, no one cleans it, it looks dirty, and the indoor is very cold in winter

Great neighborhood tennis club with a nice little gym as well. Friendly staff. My only real complaint is they reduced their hours from 10pm to 9pm during the pandemic and never went back. I prefer to workout at night so this is pretty limiting.

Complete disregard for the law or those with disabilities.
For over a month I have been trying to get Del Norte to fix/ replace the chair lifts that assist those with disabilities to get into one of their two swimming pools.
I have been given just excuse after excuse. First was told the chair lifts needed new batteries, then I was told I would need assistance to turn them manually, then use power to lower chair into pool. When I arrived to use the pool the chair lifts could not be turned at all, so were not usable.
I was then told they were going to replace both chair lifts, and this wa βtheir top priorityβ. I was then told lifts had shipped July 7, and as soon as they arrived they would be installed. Two weeks latter, I was told the lifts had not been shipped at all as the companyβput our account on hold without telling usβ.
So it is over a month, still have no idea when the pool lifts will be installed.
This is a violation of both state and a federal law. The manager acknowledged this to me, but I am just getting excuse after excuse as to why there are still no chair lifts for either pool.
Del Norte Club is owned by Arcade Church. I informed them in a letter of the non- operational chair lifts a month ago. I have not received any response from Arcade Church, and continue to just get excuses from Del Norte manager.
It is a disgrace the callous disregard for the law exhibited by Del Norte Club and Arcade Church. It is also a disgrace that they have such little regard for the safety of their members.

You know... I'm surprised! Staff are friendly, prices good for what you get, easy access to your own lane in the pool, there are two as well, one is a dedicated adults only pool which is WONDERFUL but there are spaces if you have kids too. Fitness equipment is brand new, the entire place is just nice. Staff welcoming too. This is more of a family friendly, older crowd not a muscle fest place. That said they have legit squat racks and not just a ton of smith machines. Good place, good people, good clientele, staff, facilities etc. Just a little tucked away but worth it.

I signed up for a seven day free pass. I took my son do go swimming and they said no one can help me with my pass. It was Saturday at 3. They were just going turn me away but my son was all set to go swimming. She charged me 30 dollars for my son do go swimming.

If your ok with old and dirty, then you should be good here, most of the staff are friendly, in a kinda fake way, some staff will straight ignore you as long as you are a member with a year contract. In my opinion , membership is over populated, especially when the young ones are out of school, can become a bit rough. The inside pool has two lanes for reservation, most times are unavailable, the other lanes are come first, ect good luck with that.
A hot tub is available but members have been known to hog it up for an hour!
Just received notice
membership fee will increase due to janitorial, that is laughable.
I am not renewing membership.

Love this place they have just about everything, the indoor pool is a plus and the tennis courts are always nice, not to mention the workers are always super nice and friendly! They offer team workouts for different age groups and the gym equipment is nice. They provide child care while you work out and they have pickleball courts and basketball hoops.

We joined this club initially so my son could continue to learn to swim. He was on the swim team last year and what a great experience! The families were very supportive and really want each swimmer to do their best. My son loves to go spend a few hours in the pool on most summer weekends. They do have lifeguards on duty during these times.
This club has quite a bit to offer. They have a workout room, fitness classes, tennis courts, basketball, indoor and outdoor pool, summer camp for the kids, and a small snack bar. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
