I’ve hesitated to write this review, as I’ve given Delano several chances to address my concerns, but after ongoing issues, I feel it’s important to share my honest experience for other parents considering this gym.

My child has been attending for some time, and given the cost of tuition, I expected a higher level of consistency and instruction. Unfortunately, the coaching staff changes frequently, which disrupts continuity and makes it hard for kids to build rapport with instructors. Class structure often feels repetitive, with a heavy emphasis on conditioning rather than focused gymnastics skill development. I understand the need for fitness, but I enrolled my child to learn gymnastics, not just to do conditioning drills.

I’ve also noticed behavioral issues among some children in class, such as cutting in line or making unkind comments that don’t seem to be consistently addressed by staff. This can create a discouraging environment for the kids who are there to learn and be supported.

The facility itself has some challenges. There is no air conditioning, and during the summer months, the upstairs viewing area can become uncomfortably hot for parents. In the winter, it’s the opposite, very cold. Given the multiple programs and rentals that use the space (Cheerleading, Zumba, etc.), it’s surprising this hasn’t been addressed.

Seating for parents is another ongoing issue. Overlapping class schedules mean the space is often overcrowded, and with the addition of Zumba classes taking over the upstairs area, there’s frequently nowhere to sit. Many parents, myself included, have had to wait in our cars until the area clears, which has been happening for months.

Lastly, I feel the front desk experience could be improved. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed interactions that came across as short or unfriendly, even toward my child when she simply inquired about purchasing a snack. Small moments like that can make a big difference in how families feel welcomed.

At this point, I’m considering exploring other gym options. I recommend that you tour the facility during peak hours and observe a class before committing, so you can determine if it’s the right fit for your family. ✌️

We love Delano! Have both of our girls in classes and love the convenience of different age groups at same time, and the parent work out center is a huge plus for us. Girls love going and even wanted their birthday party here. Coaches are great and involved with the kids. They are challenged and pushed in a good way to participate, and the coaches make classes fun. Saturday open gym is also super fun so kids can do what they want and show you different things they have been working on.

It get place for families to bring their kids to have fun in a safe environment. The staff here are super nice and welcoming. And a nice area to workout and still watch your little one and keep in mind the kids are being watched and taught by the amazing staff.

I brought my niece and nephew to open gym and they had such a great time! Super warm and welcoming and the owner took the time to show us around. We will definitely be back. Thank you Delano!!!

This place is magical. It can be scary to start something new as an adult and this place makes you feel right at home! My son also loves the delano coaches. He looks forward to seeing coach Bryce and he especially loves the delano dogs Hank and Brody

Took my kid's down to check out the gym and they loved it. Spoke to the friendly staff and got a tour of the gym and went over all the programs they had to offer. Went over pricing which was cheaper then I imagined for all that they do very nice clean place signed the kids up and they couldn’t be happier!!!! Thank you Carmen

The staff at Delano are so good to the kids there. My kids went here for years and I trust them without a doubt. Not only are they great, professional coaches, they have proven time and time again that safety is first priority. I had my daughter’s 10th birthday here and I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was so much fun! My daughter had about 10 of her friends there. Carmen and Diego were wonderful. They had games set and decorations in the party room. It was private and so much fun.

We absolutely love Delano, and Carmen along with the entire staff have been amazing! Every coach our kids had, Coach Suzette, Ellia, Amador, etc were very attentive and nurturing. My kids even had their birthday party there and we were all pleasantly surprised and so grateful at how beautiful, fun, and well coordinated it was. Our entire family highly recommend Delano Athletica if your kids are serious about gymnastics, or simply want to have fun with a great group of other kids and caring staff. 5 Stars for us⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t say enough about this place!! My 3 youngest kids came here and loved it. The opened and welcoming environment of this establishment and the personal care and attention to our children has been extremely welcoming and heartfelt and we couldn’t possibly be more appreciative of what it has done for them. We gave this place a shot; I as a mother my daughter as an attendee. She was just a beginner but the lack of EVERYTHING from this facility discouraged her total interest. Feels like if your child is no expert they waiste no time or energy on them yet you as a parent are expected to never miss a payment...not to mention the blond lady they have at the front desk. Zero absolutely no personality....such a shame
