The place was so great, I almost don't want to review it. This little desert oasis needs to stay exactly how it is, with the exact amount of people. It was fantastic.

I was at a conference two weeks ago and saw this absolutely jacked unit of a man. I got to talking to him, and as it turns out, he works out lol. We talked along the way during the conference, and later it was brought up that he goes to this awesome gym—Desert Metro Fitness. Since I was in town for another week, I decided to check it out. I saw it, it looked awesome, got a week membership, and went four out of seven days. I had such a wonderful time.

I'm relatively new to bodybuilding, but I've made some very impressive gains, lifestyle changes, and weight loss this year. I'm more locked in than ever, so it was fantastic to find this desert oasis with all of the equipment that I needed. The equipment is just amazing, and I liked the staff. I think I met a couple of the owners as well as some of the trainers; super badass people.

This is a real deal, heavy-hitting gym. This is where real bodybuilders go to make changes, and they have the equipment, vibe, and lighting to create that environment for you.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the place and very happy with the gym experience. Since I go to Palm Springs once a month, this will be the place where I get a week membership every month and pump it out there.

My son wanted to check DMF out even though we have gym memberships. We ended up each getting a 6 month membership! I had my mind made up that this was going to be the kind of gym where you felt intimidated and heard a lot of grunting but it couldn’t have been further from the truth. The owner and trainers and staff in general were everything we needed today. The energy in this gym is something I haven’t ever experienced. The way we both felt leaving today was so amazing! Go check them out!!

This is not your typical gym, it's a community. I was made to feel welcome the minute I entered the place. Theron and Endria are the heart and personality of this place. All the trainers are certified professionals. All the equipment is top notch and the gym is spotless.
Everyone helps each other, everyone motivates everyone. DME has become my social life, I have made many friends at this place. I just love getting up every morning, and I mean every morning and going to the gym.
I cant say enough how I feel about this place and it's owners and clients.

I was in town for the week and DMF offered a great rate for the week to workout. I met one of the owners when I was in there signing up, super nice guy. The gym is solid. You can definitely get strong in there. Lots of good equipment and everyone respects the vibe. Just an FYI, cardio equipment is stairmasters and treadmills with 1 rogue bike and 2 other spin bikes and there’s no bumpers if you’re looking for that. I’ll definitely hit this place again next time I’m in town.

I joined DMF about a week or so ago, and I already love this place. I participate in one of the strength training groups, and they kick my butt first thing in the morning. We have two trainers for a group of 5-8 people, and they coach us through hard and effective workouts. They know what they are doing, and they know what they are talking about. Around the gym, you see people of all strength levels - from normal every day people to competition-level bodybuilders - and everybody is extremely supportive, friendly and encouraging. It's a great place to work out. If you want to get stronger, you need to check out DMF.

Moved to Palm Springs about a year ago and decided, I want to set a goal and start going to the gym. When I enter Desert Metro fit the vibe was so off. Everyone seemed so competitive and in competition with each other. It felt like you had to look a certain way to sign up at this gym. I decided to not even bother signing up. I signed up at a different gym.

Great gym. The owners are very nice and helpful. The equipment is top notch. Good music throughout but not to loud. I have injuries and the new equipment let's me lift heavy and not reinjure myself.
