Simply impressed. This place changed my life. I couldn't figure out how to kickstart my body to burn fat and gain strength. Then I ran into this gym! Ever since have lost multiple waist sizes while increasing muscle mass. Thanks to the knowledge and butt kicking of the coaches there. Floyd is supremely knowledgeable in this field.

I absolutely love this gym and all the trainers. Thanks to Floyd, I'm in the best shape of my life both physically and mentally. He created a personalized meal plan and workout schedule that best suited me, and we do weekly check-ins to ensure im on track to achieve my goals. He’s incredibly skillfull at holding me accountable and ensuring I stay on track without any room for slacking off. Same can be said for for the other trainers here as well. Lastly, you never have to worry about it being overcrowded or waiting for equipment, which is one of the main reasons why I came here in the first place and what I couldn’t stand about mainstream gyms. Overall, the workout environment is so positive and motivating, and I genuinely look forward to each and every workout- it’s become an addictive and transformative experience to say the least. Give this place a try and I promise you will not regret it!

Looking for a fitness challenge or a change in your fitness routine? This is how I got to this gym.
The facility has every machine & weights you need for a good workout. There are also cardio machines & bicycles to warm you up before your workout.
The boot camp is what I have been doing there. It is an intense workout for 30 minutes doing 5-8 exercises for 30 seconds rest then get back to it. It is so doable!
The facility is always clean. The restrooms are clean with all you need plus a scale to check your weight. You need to read the message on the wall in the bathroom it is spot on!
The music there has always been perfect for motivating you to keep going.
The staff is very friendly and professional. Each time I walk in they stop to greet me. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable about keeping the workout to fit your goals and needs for each person. For example, past or current injuries. For two months now I can say I am getting results from these quick & intense workouts! Thank you all at Development Fitness for kindly pushing me to be my best self.

I wanted to find a personal trainer (specifically for body building) and by google search found coach Floyd at Development Fitness. I have been seeing Floyd since September 2021. At first I had a hard time trusting the process. I had my doubts from horrible experience with trainers from 24 Hour Fitness. The notion was ALL trainers is dishonest and just want you money. I got proved wrong. went from 180lb to 168lb in 10 weeks with keeping the muscle! Did not lose any strength and only melted fat. He's friendly, caring, driven. He wants you in and out fast with results. He's not like other trainers who are lazy, trying to keep you in their rotation for the money. Very hard to find honest trainers which is what sold me to Coach Floyd and I have been seeing him ever since.

Eliana has been an amazing trainer to work with. I started with absolutely no gym experience and she has been patient in teaching me how to use all of the gym equipment and encouraging even at my beginner level. She keeps track of what I should be doing and when, and how much weight to use. All I have to do is show up. The gym is private and all of the people working out are respectful of the other patrons as well as the equipment. I have also enjoyed the bootcamp classes from time to time.

Stepping in to a new gym can be very intimidating and when I first step foot into this gym for the FREE bootcamp classes that are offered I felt so welcomed and was greeted immediately and was introduced to the coaches. Once we got started on the workout coach Eliana corrected my form which allowed me to accurately target my muscles that needed to be worked on. She is so knowledgeable and experienced and didn't make me feel awkward which I tend to get embarrassed lol. Just when I thought I couldn't do anymore rep she said give me 3 more, even though she was not just training me she went around the room helping and challenging everyone. It is such a positive environment and have enjoyed coming since! Highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a new environment and not overly crowded the coaches offer one on one training, help with nutrition, meal plans and more!! I’ve always struggled with my weight with ups and downs especially as I age. I started coming here to see Floyd with his team of dedicated fitness professionals and I’m already showing results. Floyd has helped me put a structure in place for my meals as well as realizing what works and doesn’t work for my body specifically. Development fitness is an awesome gym, they care about and listen to your concerns, then help you achieve attainable results. There are no feelings of intimidation here like I’ve felt at other large scale gyms. The feeling here is friends and family, all working towards a greater goal of getting fit and staying healthy. I love it here, and if you know me that’s a very surprising statement for me to make. Honestly though, if you are looking for a gym to either start, maintain, or continue your training and health routine this is hands down the place you need to be. Best fitness facility in Orange County, it’s the only gym I want to be at. Development fitness cares about the goals you have for yourself and helps make them a reality with dedication and sweat. There have been so few gyms that I have felt comfortable growing in, and even fewer trainers who have left an impression on me, but Developmental Fitness not only allowed me to feel comfortable in a gym but also challenged and supported in so many positive ways. Eliana, one of the trainers, has also impacted my life in ways that I’m forever grateful for. Prior to the pandemic, I was from someone who exercised daily and ate healthy, and during the pandemic I was unfortunately affected by mental health and drastic life changes and my body quickly started to show it. This year I decided to not be weighed down by previous life challenges, and Eliana was there to fully support me mentally, physically, and emotionally. Three months after being on her meal plan, and three months after her guidance and training, I am here to prove that you can always make a comeback, stronger than you were before. Not only have I almost lost all the significant weight I gained, but most importantly, I am stronger than I ever was, and I live such a fun healthy lifestyle once again!! I came to this personal training gym years ago and noticed results right away. I stopped going due to just life and not being consistent however went back this year because I remembered the awesome experience I had. The best trainers and gym to workout. Every trainer is there to ensure you workout properly and efficiently, pushing your limits while strict on form. This is one of the best gyms I have ever worked out in. The trainers are very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is positive. I personally train with Oscar who Is one of the best trainers I ever had. He pushes you to finish your workouts and he doesn't take no for an answer. I’ve been coming to Developement Fitness for about 6 months now and it has been a very good experience! From the people to the workouts, I genuinely wake up excited to go to the gym in the mornings. The atmosphere is different from all of the bigger gyms out there, you feel like you belong.
Since coming to DF, there has been a major shift not only physically with my body, but I’ve become mentally strong as well. Steph is awesome, she trains hard and wants you to succeed. Floyd is great, he’s full of knowledge and pushes you past your limits. I do not compete, but I enjoy being around the competitors and trainers that do, they’re full of insight. I was initially referred to Development Fitness by a good friend of mine. I was looking for a posing coach at the time and I was told that “Floyd was one of the best in the business!”
From my first interaction with Floyd, I knew that statement was going to find itself to be true. Not only does he come with knowledge and experience, he also is very supportive and encouraging throughout the process!
Although at the time, he was just my posing coach, I knew that if I wanted to take my body to the next level, I was going to need him in my corner. I did not just want to compete in Men’s Physique Competitions, I wanted to be the BEST and ultimately obtain the title of “Men’s Physique IFBB PRO”.
Once I expressed to him what I wanted to do, he said “You can do it and I can help you get there. Let’s get it!!”
Six weeks in to my 2nd time being coached by Floyd (1st time -Posing, 2nd Time- Strength Training & Nutrition) I can honestly say “I am nothing less that impressed!” My Physique has already made dramatic changes. His coaching has really impressed upon my mind that, there is BEAUTY IN THE BASICS! From the eating, all the way to the workouts, everything is simple yet highly effective!
Highly recommend Development Fitness! Whether it’s being coached by Floyd or one of his other coaches, you will not be disappointed!!

Floyd, Elijah, Elaina, kaleb are the trainers I see every time I step in the gym and their vibe and energy is impeccable. Always super friendly, caring, and so knowledgeable. Development Fitness has really played a pivotal role in my fitness journey. They truly have gone above and beyond to surpass all of my needs. There aren’t many gyms that truly exceed or even meet your expectations now a days. But this is one of those rare gyms.
I always wanted to compete in a physique competition and was ready to take the next step towards accomplishing that life long Goal. I met with Floyd back in July of 2021 and we went straight to work, training hard for the next 5 months. I hit the stage for my 1st physique competition in December. I couldn’t have done it without Floyd’s coaching and guidance (I got a meal plan, workouts, supplement recommendations). I’m sure a lot of people can relate with the fact that you have your off days where you don’t want to hit the gym. However, the team at development fitness provides continual motivation and support. It’s amazing to see the kind of environment and community that Floyd and his team have created here. If you are looking to take your body to the next level, definitely check them out. About 8 months ago I decided I needed to find a personal training gym. After I started working out with Floyd, I realized this gym was going to rock my world. DF is small but has everything you need. Floyd is beyond knowledgable, and if you listen to him and put in the work, he will transform your body. I spent years going to bootcamp gyms and "big box" gyms, but I never really saw a huge change. The greatest thing about a personal training gym is that you will get pushed beyond what you think you're capable of, because the trainers believe in you! If you were to tell me 8 months ago that I'd be able to do 50 pushups, I wouldn't have believed you, but I can!
I started taking it seriously about 4 months ago, and I actually followed the meal plan and became more consistent with my work outs. Because I was resistant with the meal plans, we went through baby steps and a couple different approaches until we found something I'd stick to. In four months I've lost about 20 lbs and 7% body fat!! Floyd knows I'll work hard, but understands vacations, holidays, and occasional parties! It's a hard core place, but at the same time super fun and welcoming. If you do the work, you will see the results.

Love this gym. I have been working out here for about 4 months now. Both and Floyd and Adan are legit. They love what they do and it shows both in knowledge and positivity. This space has everything you need in terms of equipment. It's not so big that you feel like you'll get lost if you take a wrong turn but it's not so small that you feel like you are on top of the person next to you. However, most important is the attention and quality of training you receive based on your goals. It's hard to beat. You won't regret your decision to come here.

We had an absolutely incredible transformation because of this gym and it's owner Floyd. He prepped us through our first bodybuilding/physique competition. He covered every single detail for us; motivated us when we were faltering; cheering us on when we succeeded; and correcting us as needed.

I have been under the guidance of Floyd, the head coach and gym owner for over 9 months. I reached out to Development Fitness in search of a bodybuilding and competition prep specialist; however, Floyd is also a respected lifestyle coach and nutrition specialist in the OC area.
Since August 2017, I have been training diligently with him to get in condition for my first NPC competition this year.
Personally, I always do my research and have my own prior knowledge on proper nutrition and training so I can tell when a trainer is not an expert in their advice. Since the start, Floyd has given great advice and has always been very motivating. His diet plans are very thorough and written to accommodate your specific body composition and he adjusts them frequently. To add, he answers your questions inside and outside of the gym.
I highly recommend Development Fitness. The entire team is top notch and led by example. I guarantee you won’t find equally qualified trainers or bodybuilding specialists in the area, and I speak from experience since I am very involved in the fitness industry myself. I own both a corporate gym and private gym membership at well-known gyms, but you hardly find experienced personnel in either. If you’re looking for a gym, diet plans, 1 on 1 training, seriously give this business a shot and you won’t regret it.
