When I showed up on Monday to my first DFF class, I had pretty low expectations that this would be a good fit for me. My understanding of this kind of place was that it was for people who are fit, strong, and young. A friend told me she would do it if I would. I agreed to do the research.
My age and ability limitations did not faze Darrien. He listened to me, then immediately gave me something I could do. I stayed for the hour. On my way out, one of the half dozen other people said to me, “I’ve been coming for 6 months, and I look forward to it every day.” I came back the next day.
Everyone in the class has different abilities. I was never made to feel “less than.” I keep showing up and I keep getting stronger. In the three weeks coming, four times a week, I have never been sore. My posture has improved. I’m walking more confidently. I’m paying attention to what I eat.
This is a safe place. There is an encouraging environment. I have had both knees replaced with titanium. I am unable to kneel or get up and down off the floor. I have torn ligaments in my left shoulder. Darrien is knowledgeable about the body’s abilities. He pays attention to detail. I appreciate the way he explains which part of the body each exercise targets. He always has a plan and makes the most of the time. He distributes his knowledge and detailed instructions around the room, ensuring everyone is included.
I realize that at 72, if I don’t take care of myself, I will require someone else to take care of me. I want to put that off as long as I can. I believe DFF will help me progress toward this goal.

Dff bootcamp is awesome!! I love the friendly vibe. Being out of shape and over weight can be intimidating at some gyms, but not here! Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I wanted something in a group to get me out of the house and work on my fitness and mental health. Darrien is amazing! What a cool guy! The workout is perfect for all levels. You can adjust the movements if you need to. If you have any injuries or limits, they will find another option, which I love. I have not been able to workout for a whole hour before on my own. And I did it!! You have to check it out. Best thing I've done for myself in a long time.

Iam a 67 & 1/2 year old that has had both knees total replacement in the past year and a half. I was apprehensive about even trying to do a workout with my knees, but my daughter-in-law Shelby talked me into going with her and assured me that they would take good care of me and make sure I didn't hurt myself. I went from no exercise at all and jumped right into the program.Well after only 4 workouts I could not believe how much better I felt and not only did it not hurt my knees they are actually feeling better than before I started. I'm on my second week now and Iam totally hooked ❤️ I love my coach Nicole and Darrien also helping me to push myself and make sure I'm doing everything right, constantly checking on me to make sure I'm OK.They give me so much encouragement and motivation I just love them and everything about the program. So if your an older person like my self and want to feel better and get your body in better shape I would suggest you giving them a try. It's the best thing I've done for myself and my health in a very long time. If I can do it you can too.❤️ again a huge thanks to Nicole for always helping me you're a awesome coach and Darrien for making me part of the group ❤️😍❤️

I’ve been part of DFF since December 2023 and I’m so glad I joined, the workouts are fun and they change them up often and they’re challenging and they will modify for you and push you when you are ready, they also have a nutrition side, they help you all the way, the support is awesome, it’s a great no judgement atmosphere, in fact everyone encourages you, you won’t be sorry, give DFF a try 😊

I was too shy to join boot camp. Decided to give it a try and everyone that goes is so nice and friendly. They make you feel welcomed and not left out. Currently still attending with my husband he’s down 40 pounds I’m down 12. Really recommend to give it a try you won’t regret it.

Love Dff able to bring my baby in in the stroller while working out. Get a great work out in 1 hour. Instructors are fun and push you hard.

I started dff at a size 16 and tired and couldn't even walk a mile let alone run one that was 5 years ago. I am now down to a size 10 I can run a mile I'm really slow but I can run. I've had to take a break due to a medical condition, but darrien and Nicole still text me or call me to check in on me to make sure I'm still doing ok . They are amazing.

I joined DFF 6 months ago and all I can say is coach Darrien has taught me so much. From the way you eat smarter, read labels, count calories and push myself to get stronger and more fit. Coach Darrien is knowledgeable and determined to help each of their clients to improve themselves and help us to achieve our goals. Thanks coach D, it’s absolutely worth it to get up at 4:30 am to join your class.

Tough year ,I needed a change and I'm so thankful for this Boot camp,great workouts,people,I've lost 8 lbs in a month and will keep going, so good for my overall health and brain 🙂thank you Darrien and Nicole for all your help✌️🙂

Been going for a few months and I LOVE IT! My coach is coach Nicole she’s the BEST + my inspiration/motivation to my lifting and weight loss journey since she can relate to me. The gym community are encouraging, great sportsmanship. Would 100% recommend trying it out!

Love the atmosphere and encouraging community at DFF. Learned better nutrition and the importance of protein as well as healthier alternatives. My A1C was extremely high and as a result of working out and eating better I am now in pre diabetic levels. As an added bonus I was able to lose 25 pounds. As an older woman, the coaches are easy to work with and give me the extra push/ encouragement when I need it. I am now in much better shape both physically and mentally than I have been years. Encourage everyone to come check out DFF Bootcamp!

I lost 25 pounds with this program in 2018 I have maintained that 25 pound weight loss for 8 years. I started back about 5 weeks ago and have lost an additional 5 pounds. I recommend this . I've gone to other work out companies and this one is the best.
