Went in to inquire about ballet classes for 16 y.o. and older.
They shut down all summer. No technique classes. And this place is all about RECITALS.
You should have to audition for performing class not every class performs. Yuck

Seems like a great location however I feel so e things could be done a bit differently. My son (6yrs) wanted to attend dance class this summer. I signed him up here. 1st class he was completely petrified, ran out and gave me the biggest hug he has ever given me. Lol he was terrified hahah understandable. We left so he missed week 1 of the 3 weeks. I called the ladies on the way home. Explained the situation. They assured me that next week Ms. Danielle would talk with him. So week 2 rolls around . I let the ladies know we are back. They sat they will get the teacher to talk to him. A few minutes later the teacher comes out and in front of everybody in the lobby she begins asking my son if he is ready. Basically basically singling him out in front of everyone. Now I know this was not the intention but my son immediately clammed up and was done. If you have a child who is obviously nervous of the situation in my opinion the best way to rectify that would give him maybe a minute or 2 alone with the teacher to talk to them. Not have the teacher come out in front of everybody that he is nervous in front of and began talking to him. I'm not mad at the school and I do understand that this It is based off of my six-year-old son's emotions. I just feel the situation could have been handled differently

Our daughter is loving it and learning so much ! Staff is friendly and their facility is very clean. Prices are very affordable. We are happy to have dance as part of our routine and look forward to seeing our daughter grow as a dancer!

Our son and daughter have been dancing at DDC for several years in both the recreation classes and competition teams. They are a friendly group and a healthy learning environment for all kids. We always ask the kids if they would like to continue for the next term and the answer is always a resounding, "Yes!"

Update: I no longer recommend this studio. I found out some unfortunate information ( which I verified) and I think it is being led poorly. It’s a shame, we used to love this studio.

We have been a part of the ddc family for many years. Although there are many studios out there, I would choose Diana’s dance over and over again. My daughter has the skill, and the love for dance because of Ms. Diana and the many teachers that have taught her threw out her time here. But more than anything who she is, her kindness, her warm heart, the lasting friendships, a studio that is very inclusive of each child. They try very hard to include all and teach your child that, so there are really NO clicks. Kids need to feel included and a part of a group, a TEAM, that there Important. And they do, because, here, they are!

The previous review was for In and out Burger this company has helped our family out in tremendous ways when I was out for an aneurysm and they paid for my daughter's tuition until I was healed I have nothing bad to say about Diana's dance company and or the owner herself what a blessing she has been to my family as well as my daughter I apologize for the previous review which was not for Diana's dance.

After moving to canyon lake we had a hard time finding a local dance studio to move my daughter to. We tried a few in the area and this is by far the best! The customer service at the front desk is helpful and knowledgable, the instructors are good, Diane herself was great, and the parents talked nothing but good things about the place while we watched our daughter in class. Most importantly, my daughter loves it and is learning new techniques. They even bumped her up a class after watching her dance in her first class.

I danced here for 16 years, from tiny combo to recreational classes, to joining the competition team, to pointe, to becoming a teacher and getting to teach my own tiny combo. This place is a second home to me and many other dancers who dance there the family friendly environment is great for kids starting out or even adults wanting to come and take classes themselves. I'll definitely be coming back to visit and will be coming to all the recitals.

I met Miss Diana in person and she is a remarkable woman in the sense that she runs a wonderful yet stressful business but you would never know it because of her graceful professionalism. She brings unfettered joy to so many children and adults alike. From Lyrical to Jazz, Hip Hop to Tap and Ballet dance classes for ages 18 months to adults. The adult hip hop class is great for anyone looking to pick up the basics and learn some of the new moves with excellent instructors it is easy and fun to pick up. And the feeling you get from this experience will last you a lifetime!
