I practiced with Master Choi for some weeks until he mentioned made a comment in front of the entire class regarding my possible eating habits. I was very surprised to see these kinds of comments in a Martial Arts class with adults and children ... in California ... in the Bay Area of all places. If I could I would give 0 starts for inclusiveness

Grand master Choi has devoted his life to Taekwondo since a very young age, currently holding a 9th Dan black belt and having a lot of Taekwondo knowledge and skills to share with students.

My son has come to this Dojang since the beginning of the pandemic around March 2020, and I can see that he has become a more resilient person through the trainings.

Master LG Lee's dojan is not your typical martial arts studio with kids running around, paying their money and progressing up the color belts just for showing up.

He has a passion for taekwando and teaching, and is very 'old school' in reinforcing the values and goals of taekwando, and not just how to kick and punch. He is very focused on promoting good values so the kids can have a better life. He is also very good at balancing correction, sternness and encouragement and adjusting for the different age groups.

We were looking for somewhere for our 5 1/2 year old who, although many wonderful things, is not very focused. Disciple, attention and focus have improved significantly since starting that I had no hesitation in subscribing for a long term set of lessons. Amazingly, if acting up or talking back all my wife has to say is "What would Master Lee say?" and good behavior is almost instantaneous.
