About the Club

Driven Strength Club is a limited membership social strength club where we build strong relationships and even stronger bodies.

One membership includes all 3 services: Strength Club, Social Club and Coworking.
On the Strength side, we bring the accountability and community aspects to our members who want to follow their own programming. But if you do need programming or want coaching, we have 4 on 1 Personal Training as well as 1 on 1 Personal Training.

On the Social side, we have regular member's only events and community events.

On the Coworking side we have open workspace area, private workspace area, and a call pod.

I’ve worked out at 24 Hour Fitness, LA Fitness, and Planet Fitness over the years, but I could never stick with it. I didn’t realize until joining Driven Strength Club that a big part of the problem was those gyms just weren’t inviting.

From day one, James (the owner) made me feel like I belonged. His coaching sessions laid the groundwork and gave me the foundation I needed to feel comfortable and build from there. That initial investment in helping me get started made all the difference.

What I love most is that it’s never packed—I never have to fight for equipment or wait around. The environment has this perfect balance: it’s designed for you to lock in and get work done, but it doesn’t feel commercial or forced. The other members are friendly and welcoming without being over-the-top about it. Everything just feels genuine.

James is constantly making improvements for members too. Recently he installed two massive ceiling fans that make a huge difference with air circulation, and he added a golf simulator (which I’m completely biased about as an avid golfer, but still—it’s awesome).

Bottom line: if you’ve been struggling to find your rhythm because gyms haven’t clicked for you, give Driven Strength Club a shot. I recently missed a workout due to a weekend wedding, and I can honestly say I missed coming here. That’s something I never thought I’d experience with a gym.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Before I joined Driven Strength Club, I would spend hours behind a desk and gotten stiff and it hurt to move. Working out with James I’ve noticed increased strength, endurance and mobility. Working in a small group setting is great as you build lasting friendships and have people holding you accountable for your goals. I’d highly recommend joining and continuing/starting your health journey.

Joining this gym has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my physical and mental well-being.

First, the space itself is always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. Everything is easy to find, the equipment is in great shape, and the environment never feels overwhelming.

What really makes this gym stand out, though, is the people. The ownership is awesome—genuinely invested in creating a positive, welcoming space. James is incredibly supportive and takes the time to understand your goals. There’s no pressure to be an athlete or fit a certain mold. I came in with little experience, and through consistent guidance and encouragement, I’ve learned that I am capable of lifting, building strength, and improving through hard work and dedication.

But it’s not just James who makes a difference—it’s the members too. The community here is something special. We cheer each other on, celebrate wins (big and small), and create an environment where everyone feels supported. It’s inspiring to be surrounded by people who lift each other up—literally and figuratively.

If you’re looking for a place to start new healthy habits, I recommend Driven Strength Club.

This is the best lifting/gym environment I’ve ever been a part of! James is super personable and friendly, and really tries to make everyone feel welcome. There are plenty of squat racks and platforms, and they do a good job of listening to their members if there is interest in a new machine. I would highly recommend!

An incredibly clean gym with all the equipment you'd need. But more importantly, James, the owner and coach is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and motivating!

I hadn't worked out in months and thought starting group classes would be intimidating, but James made it a very easy transition. More importantly after the first 10 weeks of the program, the progress was visible in my mood, focus, and 1 rep max numbers.

Before I started with Driven Strength Club, I couldn’t bring in the groceries without getting winded. My fitness goals were less ROCK HARD ABS, and more PUT ON SOCKS WITHOUT GETTING LIGHTHEADED.

James’ mobility focused strength training along with his words of motivation not only helped me achieve my goals, but has me looking forward to a life where every week I perform better than the last.

This gym/training program is for anyone who wants to have a say in how they feel.
Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis had left me feeling defeated; like I’d been strapped into the passengers seat, forced to watch as the disease drove us toward a cliff.

This is a gym like no other, and I've tried many but nothing compares to Driven Strength Club.

This Gym is a great place to reach your fitness goal for so many reasons.

The acknowledgment and welcome you get every single time you walk in is always a nice start.

This gym isn't crowded and there is plenty of parking which is a bonus. But the best part of it all are the owners who run this place straight from the heart.

Being a gym novice, James' knowledge of proper form helped me avoid injury, which was my biggest fear. He's very client-centered and devotes his time to work with you one-on-one to figure out how to support your fitness goals.

When I first started, I could barely lift the barbell and do a box squat. Now I can lift and squat with weights with confidence.

His positive attitude kept me motivated during challenging workouts and hearing the words "you are strong" is what keeps me driven to reach my goal.

I love being a part of this gym, I feel like I have finally found my fitness community. If you are looking to find a gym, please give Driven Strength a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Before Driven Strength Club, I was that person—always trying to get into fitness and quitting a million times over. I felt extremely lost at big-box gyms and had no idea where to begin. Then I found DSC—and everything changed.

From my very first week with Coach James, I knew that this time around would be different. He didn’t just train me—he believed in me. He gave me a roadmap, taught me how to train with purpose, and helped me find the confidence I never knew I had. I finally had a game plan! James helped build structure in my workouts and equipped me with the knowledge I needed to feel empowered whenever I stepped in the gym.

I highly recommend trying out the small group sessions. You’re surrounded by people who cheer you on, celebrate your wins, and grow alongside you. Driven Strength Club in Santa Fe Springs is a fantastic gym if you’re serious about lifting! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need. It’s the perfect spot for strength training, powerlifting, or getting stronger.

I don’t work with any trainers, but the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is positive, respectful, and motivating.

Coach James is incredibly attentive and has a special talent for understanding exactly what each person needs from a workout. He’s both supportive and knows when to push you further, helping you get the most out of each session. I also appreciate that his positive social nature seems to seep into the gym and its members, creating a great atmosphere all around.

I enjoy power-lifting at Driven Strength Club because the equipment is all new and well-maintained. James gave me some solid advice on how to bench press, and I've definitely noticed my strength improving! The gym has separate power-lifting racks and lifting platforms, and there are plenty of them—so I never have to wait and can get a solid workout in without wasting time. I live about 30-40 mins away and it is worth the drive vs going to a local shall-not-be-named gym.

What makes DSC truly unique is its vibe as a social club. It has a fun blend of bikes and cars indoors, bringing some of that amazing LA and OC car culture into the gym. The members-only events are always enjoyable, and I’ve joined a few myself. My favorite part of the gym, though, is the vibe. It’s truly a place I want to be—even on days when I’m not feeling a workout. I can socialize, relax on the sofa, or even get some work done in the private office rooms.

Coach James is the best. He is very patient with his workouts and explains everything very thoroughly. I found Driven Strength Club on IG. I was intrigued with the unique setup of a free weights gym & social club with pop-art and luxury cars on display. Came in for their Free Intro and met the owner/Trainer, James.

I’m not a novice at the gym game. I’ve been going to big box gyms since 2005, but they didn’t hold my interest, and I quickly became bored. What’s different with DSC is that James is attuned to your needs and your progress. He gives accountability to you, as a Member, to do your workouts, but at the same time, he LEADS you to your goals at your OWN Pace! He is very encouraging, engaging, and very caring towards the members! I can’t say I’ve ever found a gym, or even a Personal Trainer, who invested that much attention and care to their members. I know I may be a headache to James (sometimes) but he never made me feel like I was. Lol. This gym does not only care about their income, they sincerely care for their Members. I think I found a Gym Membership I’m sticking with.

If you want to be seen and heard by your Trainer, if you want your physical (and WFH) needs met, drop by the Driven Strength Club and find out what I mean.

I've always had a love/hate relationship with gyms. The weight room is usually packed, no one re-racks their plates/dumbbells, and there's usually only two squat racks. The first thing I noticed with Driven Strength Club is the amount of SPACE and EIGHT (!!) squat racks they have. I love that I don't need to squeeze between machines and people every time I need to move.

I won't lie. I've always been skeptical of personal trainers. They usually have physiques that I don't respect. If you're going to train me, why would I want someone who looks like they haven't worked out in decades themselves? After taking a tour, I decided to sign up for a few sessions with coach James since he seemed genuine and motivating. He's nothing short of phenomenal. He really takes good note of my goals and work outs I need to improve on. I usually get hints of condescending tones from males when I talk about lifting, but Coach James has no air of cockiness nor judgment. He gently corrected my form in each work out to prevent injury and was like a private cheerleader who encouraged me to finish each rep.

I haven't utilized the workspace yet but I'm really looking forward to that! The concept is super neat and I've never seen a place like it. Very cool spot if you're looking to build community while building your body ;)

When I first started training at Driven Strength Club, I was incredibly skinny, unsure of myself, and feeling overwhelmed about preparing for the military. I knew I needed to get stronger, not just physically, but mentally and Coach James helped me throughout my entire journey.

From day one, Coach James made me feel welcome and capable. He didn’t just see where I was, but he saw where I could go and helped me believe in that vision too. Every workout was purposeful, always building my confidence.
Through his expert guidance, I not only gained strength but also the mental resilience I needed for the challenges ahead. So impressed with Driven Strength Club. DSC, the first of its kind, is more than a gym. As someone who has been intimated by the gym and yoyo-ed with exercise and diet, I am so grateful to be a member of DSC. While it offers more than just a typical gym with areas to co-work, socialize, workout, and be a community, I’ve been fortunate to have been able to train with Coach James. James is extremely welcoming, friendly, and super knowledgeable about training more than just your body. He focuses on all elements of training, focusing on both your mind and your body. As someone who struggles with working out, he really looks out for my mental health and makes the environment extremely comfortable. Not only have I experienced first hand the training that James offers, I’ve also seen him transform other people’s lives. He cares about the person, in their fitness journey, but also in their personal and professional capacity. He is extremely inclusive and really works to create a judgment free zone. I would highly recommend DSC to anyone who is a beginner, seasoned, or somewhere in between. There’s a place for everybody and every body.
