Absolutely hands down the best fitness experience I've ever had! Earned Fitness is truly a one-of-a-kind gym. This gym is wonderful - super supportive and the coaches are so knowledgeable and helpful. They really work with your individual fitness level! I'm in my forties and have two kiddos and bigger gyms are a bit intimidating for me. I've been at this gym for over a year and I'm so much stronger and more confident in my fitness!

I’ve been at Earned Fitness since they opened (and trained with Vianney, Niko and Derrick at Troy) - the team at Earned are the best. I have an artificial knee and tibia and the coaches have always gladly modified the workout to cater to my limitations. I’ve never stuck to a workout routine until I found the amazing team at Earned. If you need need more individual attention Vianney has given me private personal training and has been a great motivator and has supported me throughout my fitness and weight loss journey. If you want a dedicated, professional and supportive team around you, you can’t go wrong with Earned Fitness.

The coaches at Earned Fitness are knowledgeable and always push quality and form over quantity and speed. Have been going to Earned since they opened and prior to that went to the park classes. I have learned so much from the coaches and am confident that when I'm there, they will push me to my potential without going overboard. I've seen with myself and other members how they tailor the workout based on each individual, if someone is injured or having an issue, they modify the workout to work for them. I highly recommend Earned Fitness for men and women of all ages and fitness levels.

This place is more than a gym, it’s a community. I have many injuries and they take the time to help me build my weakness and work around injuries so I still get a great workout without feeling left out. I am stronger than ever from being a part of this gym. Their workouts are strategic full of intent and effective. They start every class with a question and end every class with a cheer. My kind of place!

The best ‘gym’ experience I’ve ever had! I’ve done CrossFit, worked out at garage gyms, had gym memberships and things the best! I’m older now and can’t just go crazy. I need guidance and good training. I have that here at Earned, safe, effective training!

I have worked @ least once with all the coaches @ Earned Fitness (primarily w/ Derrick) & they are all incredibly personable, welcoming, adaptable and extremely knowledgeable regarding anything that I required from them in terms of fitness goals, workouts & nutrition.
I experienced a knee injury during my time @ Earned Fitness and the coaches, particularly Derrick did a GREAT job @ continuing to push & challenge me, while also being mindful of my injury. I would definitely encourage others to check them out. I foresee myself being w/ them for a LONG time!!

Love the workouts here! Every workout is customized for you specifically and you really get the one-on-one attention, even though the training is in groups of 4. It’s the perfect balance of cardio and strength training all done in an hour 2 to 3 days a week. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve been wanting to get back to working out but have been so self-conscious and full of self-doubt. Vianney has been a constant positive support for me and now I am back working out twice a week. The classes are so fun and challenging and the coaches modify it for your individual needs. The class goes by quickly and I feel so good and strong afterwards. I’ve recommitted myself to my health and Earned Fitness is the place to do it!

Today I experienced my first class with Jacqueline. It was perfect. I was very intimidated to go to a gym because I have lots of injuries and haven't worked out in that way for a while. She was so welcoming. The class size was perfect with just 2 other women. She already knew about what was going on with me and adjusted the workout for my needs. It wasn't overwhelming at all and I feel like I got a lot from it. I highly recommend Earned Fitness.

I recently joined Earned as a gift to myself. I work full time remotely and have two children in elementary school, so developing and protecting a workout routine for myself has been very challenging. I also had an injury and a resulting surgery from which I am still recovering.
The Earned team has helped me establish a nice workout routine, customizes and personalizes my workouts to my injury and how I feel that day, strikes the delicate balance of encouraging and challenging me, and brings our community together in a truly genuine way. After a long hiatus from exercising, I was looking for something to get myself moving regularly again. Gym equipment was always intimidating for me, but with what I’ve learnt at Earned, I feel confident now to even do some of the simpler movements at home. The coaches have a great eye for detail. They personalize movements to your fitness level and goals. They make what seems like minor adjustments to your form, but it makes a huge difference. They make the classes fun and encouraging and easy to attend. I’d highly recommend Earned fitness.

Earned Fitness takes a unique and welcome approach to coaching and fitness. By limiting each class to no more than 4 people, they provide every bit the customized workout and training that a personal trainer would provide, at a reasonable cost. So if, as in my case I have a trashed knee, each exercise is tailored to not only protect the knee from injury, but do everything possible to strengthen it. This approach to fitness also provides each member with a community and a sense of camaraderie way beyond anything experienced in a large gym or circuit facility. The coaches are all extremely experienced; and pay exceptional attention to each Earned Fitness member, ensuring that the exercises are done correctly, maximizing the benefits while precluding any injuries.

If you’re unsure where to start, start here with Earned Fitness! I am my own worst enemy when it comes to motivating myself to workout. This is the first fitness routine that I have been able to stick with and actually enjoy. I work full time and have a little one at home. So as a typical mom, I tend to put my needs last. That was until I met Coach Vianney. I found her though the community Facebook group and really liked what she was offering. Semi-private fitness classes with no more than 4 people. This allows the coaches to give you personalized training. The workouts are modified to fit your specific goals and needs. I’ve been working out with her since October 2021 and I can tell you that these classes come first and are my priority. I have my classmates that hold me accountable and I enjoy seeing them in class. I have become stronger and healthier and never miss a Monday. Invest in yourself with Earned Fitness and you won’t regret it!

Earned Fitness is a community of like minded people who accept and embrace all fitness levels. Their semi-private group classes provide individualized training and an incredible community of people who will support you wherever you are on your fitness journey.
I have suffered from chronic back and neck pain, lower extremity weakness, and overall stiffness. Since starting in Feb 2023, my daily pain has subsided, I feel stronger and am seeing real results in my everyday life. I can lift my kiddo pain free and there is no better feeling in the world.
Gyms are intimidating, even for those of us who were active in the past. The coaches and the environment at Earned make you feel safe, I feel at supported and excited every week for my classes. This is truly the best of the best, don't wait, just get started! Your only regret will be you didn't start sooner!

Top quality coaching. Programming is balanced and tailored to the specific needs of the athlete. They design the workouts to build on each other over a long period of time which allows you to keep pushing the bar to the next level. It’s clear that attention to detail in keeping athletes moving safely and maximizing each movement is a top priority and focus point. Earned Fitness completely set the tone for my healthy pregnancy and postpartum recovery. I was a little overweight when I learned I was pregnant, and immediately signed up with Vianney who is certified to coach pregnant women through their fitness journey! She is INCREDIBLE, and has custom workouts for me as I progressed through my pregnancy, and I actually became more lean, fit, and toned while pregnant. I didn’t gain a single “extra” pound which made my pregnancy so much easier, and of course the mobility and coordination helped with my delivery as well. After baby was born, I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight and stamina within 6 short weeks and returned to the gym to begin my postpartum fitness journey, and again Vianney created a custom curriculum for me to ramp up slowly and properly. I cannot thank her and coach Jackie and Nico enough for their encouragement , support, expertise, and professionalism!! The workouts are challenging but customizable, and the best part is they are manageable and FUN for any person and any body type/fitness level!! Even kids and teenagers have a place at Earned! I highly recommend giving this gym a try, you’ll make friends, you’ll learn about your body and about healthy nutrition, and you’ll *finally* get in shape the right way while feeling strong and empowered!

I've been doing weekly semi-private workouts with Earned Fitness since Nov 2022; and I have to say, it is one of the best investments in myself. I hate working out; but the coaches here, particularly Vianney, have made it fun and inspiring. I usually feel a little sore the second day; but it is so worth it; and I feel stronger for it.
I love that it is semi-private (4 people max). You have the ability to chat and encourage other members while you work out; but still have the coach's focus to correct your form as needed. The hour goes by!
Also, when I had a shoulder injury; Coach Vianney customized my workout so that I could continue, without taxing my injury. It would have been easy to take a hiatus; but we all know, it's harder to get back into it if you stop. So, thank you, thank you, Vianney!

Absolute best trainers and experience you can get. I spent years in the gym pushing machines and weights around with no results. I switched to personal training but it was getting expensive really quickly and the personal training started getting boring quickly.
The Earned Fitness model hits the sweet spot as far as training goes. The semi-private model is perfect. The class is small enough that you get just the right amount of attention. The class is big enough that there's just enough social aspect to it. So you get results and the class is fun.
I've seen better results in the last 6 months that years and years at the regular gym. The coaches are the absolute best in the business. If you are ready to make a change, this is the place to make it. You will get fit and you will make friends.

I found exactly what I was looking for at Earned Fitness - a challenging and personalized fitness routine at an inclusive gym that works with my busy work schedule and two toddlers!
I work out twice a week with Coach Vianney in semi-private classes and it's been amazing over the past 3 years! Earned Fitness truly meets all athletes where they're at. We have all fitness levels in our class, and everyone is challenged! Coach Vianney is a certified Birth Coach and she helped me during all of my pregnancies and post-partum! Her extensive knowledge, mixed with professionalism and fun personality have made me a client for life!
I have been intimidated/lost at gyms in the past, but at Earned Fitness, the coaches are so encouraging (not to mention passionate and experienced!) Would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

I always look forward to the time I spend at Earned fitness weekly. The coaches dedication to health and wellness for the participants as well as the Serra mesa community as a whole is obvious. They go above and beyond any fitness trainers I’ve worked with before to create a safe and empowering space. They work with closely with you to create a personalized plan to achieve your fitness and nutrition goals.
The semi private groups of 4 people allow close observation of your technique to prevent injuries and maximize gains while still providing the social aspect of a group setting.
It’s so personalized thats its the perfect spot for beginning a fitness journey, returning after a hiatus, during pregnancy and postpartum period or if you’re already a high level athlete.

I have been working out with Vianney since February 2022. I have struggled with pain and injury ever since I gave birth to our first son in 2019. I’ve done physical therapy, injections, etc and yet remained injured and frustrated that I was living with a lot of pain and not being able to be active. With Vianney’s guidance and training I am finally making progress and feeling so much better!! Her knowledge of the post-partum body, its challenges, and unique injuries is extraordinary. I have also gained almost 8lbs pf muscle throughout my body (seen on Dexa scan)! Not only is she an amazingly skilled personal trainer, but she is a wonderful person and friend. Her kindness and inclusiveness radiates throughout the class, creating such a sense of community among all of us. We recently moved to the area and I’ve already made new neighborhood friends through these classes!
