Largest gym in the South Lake Tahoe area. It offers a wide range of workout equipment, training rooms, cardio machines, and classes. Has more of the classic gym feel. There is definitely some deferred maintenance that is obvious to some of the equipment and building, especially the locker rooms. There are less amenities than most gyms. For instance, it would be nice if there was a community area for meeting up with people or making a phone call etc. That said, it's a great place to work out and a great community of regulars. I would highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a gym.

I love this gym. The community that is fostered by the owners and employees is so beautiful. Everyone is welcomed warmly and personably. I specifically love going to the classes, for example: the Asana Hiit class, yoga, and Glute Junkie. All levels are welcomed to these classes--I am 6 months pregnant and do what I can while remaining responsible and within my limits created by the pregnancy. They are constantly adding new amazing classes and have a very cool program involving ice baths, etc., which I hope to join after I have my baby! Theres a sauna in the women's locker room as well!

This place is something special. I dropped in for a week while traveling, I've been to a lot of gyms and this one is by far one of my favorites.

The budokon class was so unique, the gym is clean with a ton of equipment, the staff is friendly and knowledgable, all around a great gym I would 100% be a part of if I lived there.

The energy at elements is electric! Everyone is so happy to be here the clients and the owners/coaches. Ali and rob are the owners and they are 2 of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They care so much about the clients and just want to see everyone succeed. There is something for everyone at this gym, they have tons of classes taught by awesome coaches and so much equipment. This gym has had many different owners and hasn’t been the best in the past until Ali and rob bought it and made such a positive culture. The CrossFit coach Dylan is also awesome and so positive and has killer workouts for anyone of any age and ability, he scales everything accordingly depending on the athlete. Love coming into elements and being greeted by happiness and positivity.

The equipment needs new vinyl on the benches. Duct tape isn't professional and feels horrible on the body. Closing at 4pm on Saturday and Sunday sucks should sta open at least until 8pm. For $30 a month the equipment should be better and they should accommodate those of us who might work on weekends and can't get there until after 4pm. If there was a better gym in Tahoe I would go to it like a crunch fitness only $12 a month and open 24 hours..

They've unilaterally closed their studios for individual access, so now this gym has become useless for serious lifting.

The official reason was that their equipment too expensive to share for everyone (although I paid extra for this studio access)

Well, if you're struggling with a budget for maintenance, please, raise prices, but don't ruin the experience.

The way they announce changes in the gym agreement is another piece of art.

Very unprofessional management that calls their customers thieves.

Wish rating could be higher Great workout areas and weights. Owners are really nice and keep equipment working. Locker rooms still need work--benches not stable. No steam or spa for over a year--but heard ice bath coming--with no heat, as winter approaches--do not get. Parking is great now that it was expanded and repaved. No way to shower so workout before work or before going to dinner is problematic. Membership seems to be growing so that is great. I do recommend though.

I really think this gym is a one of a kind. Complete with all the equipment you need. The staff in here are great, too. They are quick to answer any questions, and they are very friendly. Included with the membership I have, there is a very diverse collection of classes that can quickly become routine for anyone. Lets not forget how the bike trail is right in the back, which I favor on leg days- a ride to the gym. There really Is much to offer.

The old "Push" (formerly "Time Out") has been remodeled substantially. A few amenities are lacking - but so what? This is a hardcore gym; a real gym. Sorta reminiscent of the Gold's Gym and World Gym era. Spacious and clean with far more equipment than any other facility in the area. Basic and sophisticated classes are abundant. Trainers are available. This gym has good vibes with talented owners and courteous, pleasant staff. The members are easy going and likable. Tahoe Locals. Men and Women. Good people. No jerks.

I cancelled my membership. This company charged everyone the full rate when the entire town was evacuated for weeks because of the Caldor Fire. They said they would not be reimbursing anyone and it was 'the bank's fault'. Seems shady that they would charge us all for a membership when their members could not access the facilities for weeks and many were experiencing financial hardship from being ordered out of their homes.

This gym location has changed ownership and names several times over the last decade, but Rob and Ali have finally taken true ownership and pride over what is now Elements Health Club. They have invested not only more financial capital but have also invested their heart and committment to a healthy local Tahoe community. Their unwavering dedication to an environment of inclusivity and availability for people of all health and fitness backgrounds is apparent through the trainers they employ, the up-to-date equipment they provide, and the many opportunities to try new activities and meet new people. Elements is the best gym in South Lake Tahoe and will continue to grow and improve!

This gym has definitely become the best gym in Lake Tahoe! Since Ali and Rob took over in summer of 2020, so many positive changes have happened and continue to happen! This gym is so clean and has ALL the equipment you’d ever need, and then some! Not to mention they also offer amazing classes daily that can fit anyone’s schedule. The vibe in here is awesome, it’s such a fun, welcoming, and supportive gym community. Ali and Rob truly love what they do and it shows. They also have some awesome coaches for personal training that go above and beyond for you. I always look forward to my workouts here and it’s definitely become my favorite gym I’ve ever stepped foot in. So much love for this place! South Lake is so lucky to have Ali and Rob and what they’re creating in this spacious building.

This is the best gym in South Lake. I’ve been going to this gym for 10 years, and have seen ownership switch far too many times. Since Elements took over, the renovations that they have made take this gym to a whole other level. When I came back to South Lake Tahoe I went back into the old gym that has changed hands a million times and watched it get ran into the ground. From the first day I walked in I could tell the energy has shifted, cleaner, coaching, happier clients, and people talking about how excited they were about the new owners that actually live here and have a beautiful daughter. They have amazing passion and already touched this community. Excited to have them here thank you.

They have a good variety of workout machines and classes. There are several different rooms devoted to various exercises styles (crossfit, classic weights, cardio, etc). The staff is friendly and helpful. They could use more classic equipment (bench press, squat racks, etc) but they do have tons of cardio machines. Overall a great gym and definitely worth the price.

I have repeatedly asked to cancel my membership. I called before the pandemic, AND I emailed but they are still charging me. Today I was even charged $40.00 for an annual fee. I tried calling them again today and got a generic voicemail that doesn’t even say who I’ve called! It just says leave a message. I am disputing the charges with my bank. Reading other reviews it’s pretty apparent this is a common problem with this company.

This place is disgusting. I didn’t want my membership. They kept charging me. I didn’t even know I was still a member until I started getting texts thanking me for being such an engaged member.

I think my cancellation got lost in the change from Planet fitness.

Then, when I called the desk to cancel. Instead of just helping, the desk person wants to argue about whether I’ve cever come in or not- here, I’ll make it crystal clear:

I toured Fit Republic once- it was gross. I decided to not continue a membership and went to anytime fitness up by Safeway. I was a member there for a year. It’s clean, and connected to a better network of also clean places. They did not argue with me about continuing either. If someone calls, try being apologetic. They make it very hard to find them online and cancel. Try apologizing for that first. And then try offering a refund of some kind, not arguing with me about how often I came in.

Poor management!

I am a disabled veteran and parked in handy capped parking. I didn’t put up my plate since I purchased a new vehicle and I’m waiting on the plates registration and everything else to come in. Stephanie had the audacity to ask me to move my vehicle since the placard wasn’t up. Which has never been an issue, honestly she parks there all the time anyway and so does the trainer”Donnie” who is parked in no parking spot in the photos below. (The red Truck) I refused to move the vehicle! She then began to verbally harass my wife, called her to the front desk and told her she needed to leave because she wasn’t a member. Mind you, I have unlimited guest privileges on my membership. I’ve been going here for 4 months now and we always check in at the front desk. Why all of a sudden is it an issue? Lastly, Stephanie and Donnie always leave the front desk unattended and work out together, and their Public displays of affection are way inappropriate. Please rectify this situation ASAP! And also start taking better care of your parking lot, it’s always un kept and vehicles always get stuck, which for a business is unsatisfactory.

I joined this club 3 years ago because I love(d) their Steam room. (I use it 4-6 times a year) It was constantly out of order, as was the Jacuzzi. I cancelled my subscription because I was promised that they would fix it. They did, so I rejoined. That was some 8-10 month ago.
I travel a lot, I'm busy and I don't visit but a few times a year. Today (4/19/18) I went there and the Jacuzzi was not working. The Steam room was not working once again. I asked an attendant if they plan on fixing it and he replied: "No they are never going to fix it". Went to the Front Desk and cancelled my membership. This place smells, has low hygiene standards and is a disgrace to South Lake Tahoe business community.
I sincerely hope they go belly up.
Save your money and go elsewhere.
And ... Travis ... you're an owners mouthpiece with zero ability to change anything. You're not even allowed to repair for safety reasons. Your own staff is so fed up with complaints, that they freely share their frustrations. Look for a better job.

Been a member of whatever this gym has been called since 2004. The parking lot has been fixed and its great now but inside is terrible. Everything is just plain dirty. I mean every inch of the place. Worse than that the cheap memberships have caused over crowding and an overwhelming amount of terrible members. 0 gym etiquette. They will sweat all over the machines and leave them wet for you to use next. There are "please re-rack your weights" signs all over the place but possibly most members don't know how to read. If you workout at night like I do then it looks like a grenade went off when you walk in. Regularly I have to walk all over the gym looking for the dumbbells that weren't re-racked. Place is a total joke now. Most people I talk to that have been members for years say the same thing but a lack of other options is the only reason they come to this place. I'd rather pay more money for a cleaner gym with better equipment and less "tools"
