I was looking for a gym where you can have that 1 on 1 experience with a trainer for a complete hour because I am a beginner getting back into working out. If you're reading these reviews it means you're looking for a personal trainer and I can tell you to just stop right now and sign up with Chantal/Tyler. My boyfriend and I worked with Chantal and she is the best hands down. She's kind, funny, and pushes you while understanding your limitations.

We only did two 30 minute sessions a week but we could see and feel a difference in our body composition and overall confidence! The results would've been even more noticeable if we worked on our diet more which she also provides with nutrition coaching. We would've stayed with Chantal forever if it wasn't for us moving to the bay.

I have been training with Chantal since September of last year. My first day and first impression was amazing. I was able to talk to her and express my needs, and she helped set up goals accordingly. The one correction she made to my posture on the first day helped my knees, which had been troubling me for a long time and since have strengthened a lot.
She is great at assessing and tailoring the exercises to your strengths and weaknesses. There was this instance where she removed a particular routine from my day on which I was struggling and replaced it with something which was equally effective and built my strength so that eventually I was able to go back and do that routine, all the while without even me noticing it. She will still push me to do more but keep in mind my limits.
For each exercise and routine, she knows where it will have an effect on the body and how to do it right. She constantly monitors me so that I don't hurt myself, parallelly adding incremental challenges so that I can improve.
She is good at having a great conversation with you during the session so that it is not monotonous.
I highly recommend Chantal and Tyler.

Chantal is awesome 🤩
I started end of Sept with private sessions for a month since I was new to weight training. Chantel taught me technique of using weights and how a simple modification / adjustment can make a big difference.
Now I do her group classes and it’s fun and she keeps pushing me to get to the next level. When I started, I could only use 2lbs weights but now I can use up to 20lbs.
With Chantal’s guidance and teachings I’m enjoying adding weights into my exercise routine. Highly recommend Chantal if you’re new to weight training.

I highly recommend signing up for Chantal’s strength training class! I joined the class in November and was scared given that I had absolutely no knowledge of equipment, exercises or motivation to workout. Chantal and Tyler are very genuine kind hearted people. I have been working with Chantal for about a month now. I’ve had an excellent experience getting guidance from Tyler. I’ve never sought the guidance from a personal trainer prior to him. I’m an individual that exercises regularly and Tyler helped me modify my routines and correct my posture to prevent injuries (something that I was regularly experiencing when exercising my lower body using free weights prior to getting Tyler’s guidance). I don’t ever write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one given the great experience I had working with Tyler.

With training results, I’ve seen some crazy growth in a few months that I hadn’t seen with previous trainers over a longer time span. I felt like Tyler really emphasized proper form and muscle activation as opposed to working to failure every time. They made the workouts much more enjoyable. Also, I came in with some herniated disc and knee issues due to improper form + heavy weights. After a few months, I felt zero pain in those area altogether. I was very impressed.

With regard to personality and working style, Tyler has a way of making you feel motivated and energized every time. He has a great friendly demeanor and I’ve never felt overwhelmed, intimidated, or nervous in the slightest at any time. Outside of physical training, Tyler has given surprisingly deep insight and feedback on my career goals, mental health, and other topics. It was like having an all around coach with insights on physical/mental health, productivity, and achieving success in general. We’ve also had some great conversations about life goals, passions, and interests around books and music.

Tyler works tirelessly and is an amazing resource for so much knowledge. I’ve asked him a million questions over the last year either during our sessions or over text, and he’s always given a well-researched, thoughtful, and educated response. Even after we stopped our sessions (after moving to the East Coast), I’ll text him a question or two once in a while and he’ll always respond.

To summarize, I highly recommend Tyler. I came to Tyler with a goal of just improving my physical health and I left with so much more.

After the COVID and being home for a year with my 3 kiddos I was loosing it. I did my research and found Elevated Personal Training. Besides losing some weight, not a lot like I would off like, (it’s been only a month) but I could say -5lb and 1/2in less. It’s not a lot, but let me tell you the felling after each session it’s the best felling ever, having that time just for me, it’s amazing and not to mention Chantal, makes every session pleasant. I have trained with both Chantal and Tyler at different occasions.
They are both great in their own way and both have distinct ways of training which in fact makes them stand out.

Chantal’s way of training is incredible she makes sure that while you are training with her you do not waste your time and money. I like how fast paced she is and she moves on fairly quick which I liked because I gave me the opportunity to learn various exercises. When training with her she incorporates cardio and weight training to her routines which is a plus because some trainers only focus on one aspect at a time. In addition I liked how she had weekly check-ins to see if anything has changed and how much weight and or body fat you've lost. She makes sure she sends encouraging messages along with that she truly cares for her clients because she cheers you up all the time. I liked how Chantal also shared tips and tricks while working out. If you want to learn all the secrets make sure to book your session with her.

Tyler is very knowledgeable when it comes to training and nutrition. He sent me the most easy to follow guide and I was able to enjoy my food without having to cut anything out entirely. I signed up for the couple’s training as opposed to the one on one training which he also offers, but I wanted to be able to go workout with my husband. I truly enjoyed how he was able to modify the routine for my husband and I since at that time my husband had a knee injury and was not able to squat. Tyler made sure we would still incorporate leg day by changing up the exercises so it would not put so much strain on my husband’s bad knee. Also I liked how Tyler is a great listener if you bring up any concerns to him about your fitness/fitness goals.

They both answer any questions outside of your schedule training sessions, so if something pops up you can feel free to ask them and they get back to you within a reasonable time frame.

If you want to get your money’s worth make sure you contact Chantal or Tyler as they are both experts in the field of personal training.

I decided to reach out to Chantal initially through a post she made on Facebook offering PT and Boot Camp classes. From the very start, she was cordial, professional, and never made me feel awkward like some of the other trainers I have been to. I genuinely signed up with Chantal on a whim to try her out, the last trainer I had almost turned me off of PT forever after a terrible knee injury during my first session. That whim has now turned into me seeing her 5 times a week! She is amazing and understands that everyone is different with what they need out of PT. Not only that, I am seeing RESULTS. When the scale wasn't moving and I was getting discouraged Chantal measured me and told me to stop stepping on the scale so much. Sure enough 2 weeks later at the same weight I had lost 3 inches from around my waist!!!!

Started training with Tyler in Dec 2020, best decision I've made in a long time. Let me tell you why: I'm early 50's, always worked out to some extent, although never really knew what I was doing, not overweight, have 2 damaged shoulders due to motorcycle accidents and a dodgy back, occasionally. My main goal was to get my six-pack back and feel better in myself overall. I was concerned Tyler would be like many other trainers and assume I was mid 20's, fully fit and capable of any weight or movement. Not the case, he listened to my request, my goals and my concerns and set the plan accordingly

I work with Tyler twice a week due to my busy schedule, in between times I work out at home with cardio and yoga and light weights. I genuinely look forward to my workouts with Tyler. Not only is it about the physical workout but the conversation about life, mindset, attitude etc. He truly covers all bases about well being, mind, body and spirit.

He adjusts the workout to accommodate the level of movement, especially in my shoulders. He pushes enough to encourage the movement but not enough to cause discomfort and pain. I've never been more motivated, or eaten so healthily.

I was looking for a trainer that could work with me because I have pretty severe anxiety and I needed someone that would be willing to respect that but also help me get healthier and less afraid of a gym environment. I started doing training sessions with Tyler a month into COVID’s shelter in place mandate. It’s the first time I’ve had a personal trainer, and I couldn’t be more pleased! Tyler is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and you can’t beat having your workout tailor-made for your own body! I started seeing him because of a foot issue which started preventing me from doing many of the things I love (dancing, rock climbing, wearing normal shoes!), but he’s helped me with my foot and so much more: posture, strength training, and it’s all helping me regain confidence in my body after a few injuries had me doubting my abilities.
