I've been to good gyms and great gyms but never found gyms for me that suited me & the vibe after checking this place out. It's dark. It's small. I like it. Gets me right to business. 💪🏻

This is a very well put gym. They have separated bits, one of purely weight lifting, another of cardio, and one extra which is very spacious for body movements. They have a vending machine for a quick, protein snack as well.
I am so grateful I am able to attend here.
Plus i was able to get help from both a worker, and a fellow gym member!?
A downside I am able to recall is there simply not being that many places to take a break
from what i could remember

Needs an a redo on everything, i.e. walks, equipment, flooring. Please get rid of those broken down treadmills and make some changes to accommodate women hence ergonomic circuit equipment. But I have say the employees are all super nice.

Tvs gone from cardio room. Classes either don't exist anymore or they're not clearly posted. Like the changes they've done adding more machines and relocated the saunas.

I am new to Dixon and new to this gym and I love the equipment in the manager is a very nice manager and very helpful when you need help with things If I rate this gym I'll give a 10❤️

Loved that they stayed open, but they never whipped the dust off vents or equipment, restrooms smell was the worst (never seemed clean) , and there equipment really run down. Need to change pads, and fix the squeaky fitness machines

Not sure what to think. I'm a new member, started right when COVID hit, then the gym understandably shut down one day when i arrived at 5am to find a sign on the door. The one thing i do not like about this gym is their lack of communication to their customers. I still haven't heard anything from them as far as their plan to reopen, are we still going to get charged fee's, why is no one responding to public inquiries on Facebook. I drove by the other day to find a note on the door saying they would re open on monday due to the fires that are happening ( you mean to tell me you re-opened? How was i supposed to know?). Now i call the phone number and its temporarily disconnected. 3 Stars and i hope everyone reading can agree, communication is key for a successful business who is also taking money out of your account every month.

It's my actual gym (Use to go to FR but they unfortunately close =( so sad cause I love it) it's good enough but not too much space areas, no drink holders at the machines but still works for me =)

A new member (1 month so far) at Excel Fitness - Dixon and there are only positive things i have to say for this place. The staff have been wonderful at all times and always willing to help out. It's 24 hours which is great especially because i usually work till 10 pm and so having the accessibility is great. They have all the tools and equipment that I'd like to use and more which has allowed me to loose 10 pounds so far and hopefully shape my body to my desire. Cheers!

I enrolled to Excel Fitness about 8 months ago while they had great sign up deals, I have a couple different memberships and Excel definitely stood out from others. It has all of the attachments you could think, the owner/manager was always looking feedback and ways to improve, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. I'm and very sad end my membership. But I will definitely be back for my day passes when I come to town
I highly recommend Excel Fitness to anyone looking for an overall great fitness facility.

The only place in town with childcare would be enough. But it is a great gym with super friendly employees and an owner that cares about his clients. The gym itself is clean and well maintained with a great variety of equipment and offers plenty of group classes for a good variety. Definitely recommend checking them out.

I LOVE, LOVE this gym. Love all the equipments the the fact that it’s a 24 hour gym. Patrick, the owner, goes above and beyond to please his members. In fact, he downright SPOILS us. We now have a sauna and AWESOME massage chairs at no extra cost. Yup! It’s all included in our super low monthly membership fees. Thank you Patrick for making this the BEST gym in the area. 😊

My husband and I found this gym during our month stay in Dixon from overseas. We were so impressed by this gym! The owner and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The membership was very affordable (child care included). The gym is equipped with great quality cardio and weight lifting equipment. While we weren't able to attend any classes, they offer a lot of great options! We thought it was great that this gym is 24hrs. There is plenty of equipment so you never have to worry about waiting to use a machine. The child care hours are extremely reasonable as well. The child care staff seemed happy to watch our son for us which allowed us to focus on our workout. There is a glass window to the child care room too so I could peak in on him and make sure he wasn't causing too much trouble, which was nice. We also liked that they played music in the gym and the gym was very clean! The owner seems very passionate and it shows in the quality of this gym! We wish him the best as it continues to grow. Would definitely recommend!

Place is fine if you DO NOT NEED child care. This facility is not equipped to take small children. I got to work out for a total of 10 mins of which my child cried for 2 mins & they had came and got me. They told me their people were trained in child care. He's 1.5 yrs old and highly unpredictable as you can imagine.There is no roof on the playroom which I was not aware of this when I signed up also there was no mention of a No crying policy.
We are part of 2 other groups during the wk where he goes to daycare and usally has no other issues. Not sure what actually happened. needless to say I'm going to pay an extra $10 a month for Peace of Mind somewhere else.
