The mission of Empower Fitness is to meet the need in our community for a place where young people can gather and know they are both wanted and safe. Our desire is to inspire young people to be their best and improve their educational and employment opportunities.
We will accomplish these goals by providing exercise, fitness, competition, tutoring, training, and mentoring. Our guiding principles are: a dedication to making a difference in our community; a spiritual commitment and compassion; a desire to continually reach just one more troubled teen; and devotion to creating a drug and alcohol free environment safe for the whole family.

I wish I could give this zero. This is a gym filled with creeps, not a good gym for girls. The staff frequently followed me around and one staff member told me to put my shirt over my sports bra, while I was in the CHANGING ROOM, in the middle of changing. Even after explaining myself, she was still rude. It’s full of dirty and usually broken equipment, and don’t bother going in the afternoon, all the high school boys will be crowded around a single machine, blocking all the other ones from being used.

When my kids had an activity here my spouse and I tried to join. They wouldn't let us because we are gay. They said only families with a "man and his wife" can join. Our family with kids didn't pass their bigot test.

Holy Moly what a great place. The basketball court is amazing! We use it daily for different training the people there are so nice. I love all the scripture keeps me going when I want to give up.

Super friendly staff, spiritual environment, nice clean basketball court. Unbeatable family plan price. Our personal trainer (jake) for me and my wife is amazing! Come join us on the basketball court or in the weight room!

Visited the facility on Tuesday. I was very impressed with both the equipment and the staff. Also, there is a nice indoor basketball court as well. Looks like I found a great place to keep working on my fitness goals!

Tried to charge me twice for the same month. Horrible customer service. The new employees (young girls working the front desk) just wanted to argue with me. Hours are also ridiculous.

All these reviews must be family and friends because this place is a dump. It's more of a Daycare then a gym. I travel for work so I'm constantly trying new gyms up and down California, I have never seen a weight room with so many small children ( maybe 6- 10 years old.) playing on the equipment like it's a playground. Not only that but by the time you finally get a hold of a weight... it's broken or falling apart. Gym bags scattered everywhere you can't even walk through the hallway. Do yourself a favor and drive the 25 min to the planet Fitness. I will and I hate PF.

Lord's Gym us wonderful with great atmosphere. No use of prophecy, music and TV content are clean. Great environment for young people as well as older too. They have a great trainer and the desk assistants are young but respectful. This gym even has an indoors basketball court, plenty of space to play ping pong and other table games, is extremely well equipped and very clean. There's plenty of parking. They're closed only on Sundays.
This is also a Non-profit Organizaion, although there is a very reasonable membership charge. The one thing that would make it 5 starts for me would be to have more and consistent group classes.

Excellent Gym well equipped, and easy to access. They were started as a ministry to keep kids in a healthy environment after school and now is open to all ages. They are very affordable and very clean. The only thing that will make it better is to have more consistent group classes. I love this gym.

I’ve been to tons of gyms and this one is by far my favorite. Great staff! Very welcoming environment. The basketball court is a great addition. Definitely has enough Equipment to get in whatever work out you need.

Its a Great gym when looking at the price perspective. Take for example the fact that If you were to go to a normal gym you could be looking at anything between 50$ to 150$ a month. Whereas if you are under 21 at Lords it is only 5$ monthly. And above 21 years of age it is 25$. They also have a family plan that puts you at 50$ a month which if you have a big family you could be paying very little per person. For this price you get a basketball court, treadmills, great service, music, food, Full locker rooms, ping pong, Pool, couches, Childcare, boxing room, Weight trainers, yoga room, stretching, and all of the essential machines and weights.
