Empower Hot Yoga is my first experience with yoga and I fell in love my first class! It has helped me mentally and I am very thankful for it! It’s very comfortable and clean. I love that they have a variety of classes. Everyone is extremely nice, helpful and informative. I highly recommend it!

This studio is so beautiful! You can see the amount of thought and effort that was put into everything. It is so clean from the props to the showers to the floors. The owners, Nikki and Josh, even offer things you may have forgotten at home, such as spray deodorant, q-tips, hair ties.

There is a variety of classes to choose from and you can find one almost any time of the day, making it easy to attend a class no matter what your schedule looks like.

Every teacher is so inviting and greet you as soon as you walk in. There are so many other services offered here as well. The first class is free and there are so many deals to take advantage of. I highly recommend trying a class whether you’re brand new to yoga/pilates or are an advanced student.

I never would’ve considered myself someone who enjoys yoga classes. Empowered was recommended to me by a friend, and I initially joined because they also offered warm Pilates and barre classes. However, I have now discovered the many benefits of hot yoga, and love going to every single one of the classes they offer. The studio is clean, beautiful, and Nikki and her crew are warm and inviting. The whole environment is a place where all are welcome. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Empower Yoga! It is clean, cozy, inviting and beautiful. You can tell how much time and effort the owners put into this space. The ambiance is so serene. The variety of classes here is also great, some days I’m feeling a Vinyasa flow vibe while others I’m feeling hot Pilates. I always walk out of here feeling better than when I walked in. They have showers, a nice filtered water fountain and many other finishing touches. I am new to the Chico area and have been welcomed into this little community like I’ve known them for forever. Nikki and her husband have been so welcoming from the very beginning. Empowered Hot Yoga was recommended to me by a co worker at the Wellness center I work at. Empowered is my home away from home. The studio is bright and beautiful, and most importantly very clean; from the moment you walk in ypu are greated with a smile. I've been to most the classes and have enjoyed all of them very much, the instructors are amazing. I've been taking hot yoga classes at Empower for a few months now, and I've seen a huge improvement in my flexibility, strength, and overall fitness. The classes are challenging but also fun, and I always leave feeling refreshed and energized.

The instructors at Empower are amazing. They're supportive and encouraging, and they're always there to help you modify poses or make adjustments as needed. They also create a great sense of community in the studio, and everyone is very welcoming and supportive of each other.

So everyone here is very nice, first off. So kudos. I took two classes and the yoga one was fine; nothing to write home about, but solid. The Sculpt one was nothing but legs and barely raised my heart rate. Really I don't know if it even counted as exercise, not even my legs were sore the next day. Just not a well-thought out or well-rounded class or, if you're going to have a very easy Sculpt class, offer another more intense one for folks who want to sweat a bit.

The main problem in my opinion is the design here. OMG, yikes, WHITE. Everything is white, especially in the room itself. They have colored lights on which creates a nice glow, but I still feel like I'm in a dystopian clinical space. The floor is also white, which means watch out; unless you clean your feet beforehand you will find yourself leaving little smudges on the floor, which is a bit embarrassing.

I wanted to like this place, but neither the space nor the courses were out of the ordinary or the expected. Except, that is, for how overwhelmingly white it is, lol.

Wow! There are no words that can accurately describe this studio. I was looking for a studio in other states for about a year and never found “the one”. Most are very commercialize or just plain unwelcoming. My original studio is hard to beat and somehow Empower was able to match it and more! The teachers are all absolutely amazing and knowledgeable and can help you with whatever modifications you need or kick it up a notch if you’re looking for something more intense. Nikki (the owner) is hands down one of the most kind and genuine people I have met and makes you feel so at ease it’s like you’re walking in to a friends home. She is always there to greet you before and after workouts and sometimes if you’re lucky you’ll also get the pleasure of working out beside her! There are PLENTY of different classes to take like vinyasa, Pilates, barre or just a classic 26 series! You may come for the workout but what makes this studio so unique is the community behind it! Take a class here! I promise you won’t regret it!

This place is absolutely magically amazing!! The second you walk into the door your mind is at peace. Everyone is so nice and very supportive!! I enjoy coming to all classes but my personal favorites are yin, ashtanga and self discovery. The cleaniness and extras in the bathroom make it feel like home. The cold lavender towel is always chefs kiss. I would recommend empower hot yoga to absolutely everyone!

This was my first time trying any version of pilates, and I so enjoyed it. I had allergies all day but they subsided for the entire 60 mins of the class, which was so relieving. The instructors commentary was uplifting & had me laughing when I felt like giving up. The entire place is so well organized & clean, & the owner is a sweet person. Staff was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in I had a sense of ease and was greeted by my name with further instruction of how to prepare for class. I felt so comfortable at Empower, though I had not been to hot yoga in many years.
The instructors/staff are very informative, and helpful. They will explain what to expect from class, remind you to hydrate, and will encourage you to take a break if needed. I throughly enjoyed the cool towels we received at the end of class, as I felt so refreshed and calm after an amazing session. I leave Empower feeling so refreshed, open hearted. I will visit again very soon!

The brand new yoga studio is GORGEOUS! I’ve met the owners of the establishment, Nikki and Josh, you can tell that they’ve poured their heart and soul into this place. The instructors of the classes are a bunch of talented people that stand out with great energy and attitudes. Adding a welcoming and fun environment to practice yoga at this studio. I’m looking forward to attending the variety of classes offered, which is rare to find all these options in just one studio. So I’m looking forward for them all at Empower.

Tips:
- The owners are very approachable and amazing people! Any questions that do come up they’re easy to approach
- Don’t forget to close the green curtain before entering the bathroom if you don’t wanna put on a show 🤭
- There is extra parking past the studio, church next to the structure, if the parking lot is full

I went to an Empower Yoga collaboration event at The Lost Dutchman Taproom! Empower made sure we had plenty of pop-up’s for shade, ice water and held a beautiful class on a sunny day. Afterwards, we got a ticket to cool down with a drink at the Taproom. Such an awesome experience! Empower made sure all the details were thought out so that the event flowed super smoothly.
