Overall a great gym. I usually go to the Fullerton EOS but now that they transitioned from Golds to EOS I decided to try this location out. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and it’s clean. The only complaint I would have is that the hours are insanely disappointing. Opening at 7am and closing at 7pm on a weekend doesn’t make it accessible to be able to go in either earlier or later in the day at all and creates it to be full a lot throughout that time range.

Very disappointing experience. I came to EOS Gym (which replaced Gold’s Gym) around 10pm — a full hour before closing — ready to sign up for a membership. I was also interested in trying a free guest pass before committing. Instead, I was denied both because “there’s no manager on site.” It’s frustrating when a gym that advertises being open and welcoming can’t even sign up new members during their posted hours. Definitely not the kind of first impression I expected.

Today was my first day using my 7 day pass. I LOVE the gym and I’m looking forward to becoming a member. the manager mike of the lincon and state college gym is rude and disrespectful today October 2nd I had a small confrontation with him due to the fact that my daughter's monthly membership payment could not be collected and I explained to him that I did not have a card with me to make the payment and that if I could allow her access just for today and he answered me rudely demanding payment I explained that I have never had any problems with my payments that I am always fair and that I understood what he was saying but he continued with his rude attitude I told him that I would never recommend people because they are there to help not to fight I was only asking for a day of entry so as not to return home since I was already there but he did not want to he became rude and I would make my payment the next day without any problem and at no time did I ask for a freebie only that he would consider me only that day and the next day I would pay but he did not want to and even turned away from me. So, people, that manager talks nicely at first to get people to sign up for memberships, and then he's a rude, abusive despot.

If I could put a zero I would. The other day I signed up for a guest pass. The staff at the front desk was some younger lady with curly brownish blonde hair . She was very rude and acted like she couldn’t find my guest pass. I didn’t feel welcomed and then the next day they called me to sign of for a membership which I declined specifically because of the rude staff. My boyfriend likes gold gyms so i might sign up at a different location but as far as the Anaheim one the staff is very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Please get better staff because the ones that currently work front desk are driving customers away. & that location is by Disneyland where tourists go from all over the world im sure so people should feel extra welcomed. No matter race, religion, gender or color. Everyone should be treated with the out most respect. Hopefully they fix the problem soon.

Dear Gold’s Gym Management,

I visited the Anaheim location today with my guest, and we both filled out the required information. Unfortunately, the receptionist we interacted with was extremely rude. The experience left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected, and we cannot help but wonder if this treatment was because of our race. It was very hurtful, and I am still upset about it now, which is why I feel the need to report this.

As high-tier members, we pay for a membership that includes guest privileges. If guests are not truly welcome, then why is this option offered? We expect the benefits we pay for to be honored without hostility.

I believe the staff at this location should improve their attitude and professionalism. At the very least, we deserve an apology for the way we were treated. No member should feel discriminated against at a place they pay to belong to.

Gym equipment never works here. 2 of the most used machines have been out of service for 2 months now. When I initially signed up the employee gave me a passive aggressive addituide when I was wanting to read the terms of the contract before signing it. I noticed he signed me up for a year membership even though I wanted month to month. He also never mentioned the yearly 60$ fee associated with it so when I got charged it came unexpectedly. Don't come here, not worth the money.

Unbelievably this gym shamelessly engages in abuse of the elderly by using fraudulent schemes to convince elderly members to sign $1,200 personal training contracts. My father-in-law (a 75 year-old man with limited ability to read in English and low income) is one of their recent victims. He was lied to and tricked into signing a personal training contract he couldn't even read, much less understand. He took the gym's staff member's word for it (that he was signing consent for 1 personal training session) and he was lied to, so now he is stuck with a $1,200 debt (and likely damaged credit since he lives on very low social security income and can't afford to pay). Shame on Gold's Gym. I will be contacting NBC news and whatever other news outlet I can. This is a form of elder abuse and it is infuriating.

Today, I visited the gym with my brother-in-law and found it well-kept, with clean equipment and bathrooms. However, we did encounter some challenges with the customer service. We wanted to discuss some questions regarding billing and upgrade options, but our interaction with the manager, KC, and a front desk staff member (a woman with long black hair) felt a bit unwelcoming. VERY Nice Staff, ...I use tread mill& Stairs , they are adequate equipment for me, I Enjoy the music videos & tv to divert my workout / mind from bordem , or intense exertion that can occur during workout... I see lots of folks using the various equipment& weights, Something for Every ...Body...I also see many folks use alternative transportation ( use the bike rack, I ride my bike there & Appreciate folks showing the Environment some Love🦋
At almost 67 / 190 lbs..lifetime foodaholic ..heavy since age 7...just trying to loose weight in a healthy / keep weight off mode & have set minimum 10 lbs weight lose goal increments &eat healthy & exercise to meet those goals
For any Seniors on Medicare advantage plans ..take Advantage of Your Free gym membership that Your plan should have( call Your health plan , get a gym membership code , come to the gym to sign up free with that code& START EXERCISING..Start out slow / get Your dr's approval & get healthy( I walked my neighborhood for a few months& rode my bike to get in practice for the gym before coming there)...YOU may even be able to lower Your medication intake or even eliminate Some medications as part Of Your NEW HEALTHY Plan( but always thru a dr's advice/ guidance) Most of us Are What We Eat& lack of exercise sometimes bring on disease / ailments that thru combination of healthy diet / exercise could be kept to a minimum/ or never occur
..It is hard to workout consistently( not easy & we procrastinate), but by pushing one's self some& try to eat healthy most the time, IT IS WELL WORTH THE RESULTS..( taking a pill or using weight loss drugs maybe easier , but are hard on the body/ side effects & usually must be done a lifetime, could be added expenses)

Been going to this gym since it opened which was awhile back. Not too many complaints about this particular location, but a lot of the machines are frequently out of order or aren't working how they should.

They filled in the fitness class room with more lower body work out machines and added more benches which was nice, but sucks for those who enjoyed going to the classes.

Like most gyms, it gets really busy from 4 pm til closer to closing. But because of its vicinity to Katella High School, I feel like this location gets even more packed full of crocs & pajama wearing Gen Zs going 50 people deep on any given machine/bench compared to other locations. It doesn't help that this location is pretty small too.

This location is alright. Just wish they would stay on top of maintenance more though.

The best value gym in the area! This facility is kept clean and well maintained! The newer equipment is state of the art and adequate for a good workout. Even with busy times, the place never seems too crowded!
Upon entering, members and guests check in and are greeted by the friendly staff, who can assist them with the equipment and getting items at the company store, including nutrition products, drinks, snacks and those famous Golds® t-shirts!
Parking is accessible a block from Lincoln, off S. Peregrine St., behind the post office. The front entrance is actually on the backside of Anaheim Town Square, facing south, away from Lincoln Bl.

Very disappointing experience coming in. I am planning on moving to Orange/Anaheim in the next month and wanted to try out the gym for a day pass to see if I liked it since it’s close to where I plan to be and they said I couldn’t because I wasn’t a resident yet… I received an email from Golds with the free day pass but was still denied entry unless I paid $20 for a single day… will not be getting a membership here with their complete lack of understanding and competence. I’m new to the area and just got back from Africa on deployment. It’s always been my dream to visit golds gym, I’ve been working on my ifbb pro card in bodybuilding and it’s been somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit because of the history of amazing bodybuilders who’s worked out there in the past. I was absolutely appalled at the customer service and was disrespected and made felt like I wasn’t as good and they were better than me and tried to belittle me in front of other members. whoever is the operations manager treated me with nothing but disrespect and I urge you to treat your military service members with more respect. I’ve been going here for the past year and in the grand scheme of Gold’s gyms it’s pretty bad. At any given point anywhere from 1-6 pieces of equipment will be broken and will remain broken for anywhere from a week to a month. After asking for my personal training sessions to be put on hold in August of 2023 I was charged in September anyway. When I brought it up to Michael the manager I was assured it wouldn’t happen again and that it would get resolved; however, I was charged again in October. I was also charged again in January after I had received an email from Michael claiming that a refund had been issued. It has been over 8 months and I’m still waiting for my refund of $912 for the sessions I didn’t want.

No follow through and you will most likely be forgotten. If you need a refund good luck.

This whole process has exacerbated my anxiety disorder, which I informed Michael of and yet Gold’s has still been dragging their feet and stealing my money.

I recommend not saving any card on file with them because they will charge you incorrectly whenever they want.

The personal trainers are amazing! But stopping the sessions has been a nightmare. I wish I could give them negative stars for how horrible this process has been.

Best gym I’ve visited! I am in USA on holiday from New Zealand and needing a gym to train at while I’m here for 6 weeks.
The front desk staff and Marcus were absolutely amazing and made me feel welcomed. Sign up was super easy and I appreciated being able to train on the same day I signed up. Important Note: This isn’t about the experience I had at the gym of using their equipment or how my experience I had with employees or how clean the gym. This review is going to talk about how much it took to get my refund for the down payment.

For those who are thinking of just trying out this gym and if you don’t like it and want a refund after trying it out for a day or two, you’re out of luck. It took me about 3 months to finally receive my refund of my down payment and this was with all the calling and in-person meetings trying to get my money back. And if you’re wondering why I didn’t cancel in-person? Well I did ask but instead they gave me a number to call and create an account to just cancel my subscription. As usual they make it difficult to cancel the subscription. Even after all that was said and done, you’ll properly won’t see it for a month if you’re lucky, even if you call for help you still have to wait since there isn’t something they can really do but ask you to wait another week and another week and so on.

Once again I don’t recommend this gym just for the fact it took so long to refund my down payment in the beginning. All the calling and in-person meeting would have not happened if they just refunded in-person

Dont come in here if you expect a quick and easy cancellation. They refused to cancel membership in person. Needed to do it online instead. It has been weeks and I have yet to get my refund. Very unfortunate
