My membership got terminated here. People are to sensitive to honest feedback. There’s a lot of perverted men that go here. I had to make many complaints to management about the constant disrespect of men who would harass me. Hawaiian Gardens wasn’t a safe gym environment. Some girl reported me because she thought I had a crush on her because I called her pretty. They have rift raft outside the gym that live homeless in the parking lot and use the gym, that’s is the guy I reported for harassment, he would talk to me outside, and bother me while I was working out and try to stand to close to me, on multiple altercations. Then other guys who bother me while I’m working out to say obscene things, bothering me while I have my over-the-ear head phones on. Also the bathroom you can’t take any pictures. That’s not to bad, but I think there should be a separate area in the bathroom designated for picture taking, with full ceiling to floor mirrors, And good lighting. Another thing I didn’t like is there is no personal space everything feels like a sardine can. How does a gym not have room for movement ?? That’s literally why we are there, to move our bodies, and it’s impossible. The sauna is tiny, the bathroom area everything was always wet and the floor full of old hair, they don’t clean the shower head so your bathing in mold, and the smell is horrendous. They have a gym “tour” they lie on the tour saying there’s a “outdoor” area it’s been in construction for months and never opens, it is a gimmick. And make sure you call corporate because even after my membership was cancelled they tried charging my card and didn’t return the payment of the month they terminated my membership. This EOS Location is another dooms day event.

They don’t offer a free trial / 7 day trial as advertised online. Said I lived “too far” when the city I live in is closer than the cities “within radius”. They will try to do anything to make you pay. Why are you trying to make me commit before letting me try the gym? Terrible sales rep. Also they are combining with Gold’s Gym soon so be prepared for the worst crowds.

I am so glad to be a part of this dynamic gym. It offers everything I need! The staff are amazing and extremely helpful. On top of that the gym is always clean and those vents in the shower I am in aww! I've seen some vents in the shower at other gyms, and they were filthy. There were times I didn't want to take a shower because of it, but not at EoS. They are on top of their cleaning game and I appreciate that 100%! EoS you got a friend in me. Anthony mora was amazing. Even though I didn’t get a membership he was extremely polite and understanding and wasn’t bothered when I told him I wasn’t going to get a membership even after he took me and my girlfriend around to show us the equipment. I recently visited this gym as a guest because my friend invited me to work out with them. While I appreciated being welcomed, I felt uncomfortable because I was repeatedly pressured to sign up for a membership during my visit.

I understand that memberships are important for the business, but I came only as a guest and wanted to experience the gym without feeling obligated. The pushiness made the visit less enjoyable.

I would kindly ask that future guest passes or trial visits focus more on letting people experience the gym atmosphere first, rather than being pressured right away. That way, guests can make a decision on their own.

Really Disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of instructor Joel at EOS, Hawaiian garden. He was rude when I used a machine he had left unattended for long and was reserving multiple machines at once, making it difficult for other members. I believe Staff are allowed to do this because of the way he behaved and decided to yell.
Have sent an email to their operations manager about this, so we will see if there is a response and if the gym cares.

Why does this place feel like a homeless center. I come in follow the rules and do what I need to keep up with the rules. But no one else follows. Been here for 2 years and the massage chairs are always taken by people withe blankets and there teddy bears this is ridiculous like this is there home. General Manager interaction today was unprofessional, unnecessarily prolonged, and disrespectful. We just moved to the area and we are looking for to get the week pass to confirm the gym would be reasonable busy at peak time. He straight away said if we want to pay $10 dollars, of course the gym would be busy. Very inappropriate and dismissive. He also struggled to be clear about the rules and was talking non sense, asking for a bunch of documentation when he noticed one of us couldn’t speak English and had her passport instead of a local ID. He clearly didn’t want to provide the pass and started create obstacles. We even showed bank statements at one point to show our previous address and explained we just moved to Long Beach area. Anyways, I’m kind of glad that we had this issue early on, before signing up so we are aware this gym isn’t for our family. Such a shame since I used to be a EOS member from Point Loma San Diego and was super excited to join again. Note: parking is also very difficult and the gym looked crazy busy

I have several memberships for different gyms in the area since I'm always on the go but this location specifically has never failed to meet my expectations. As a night owl having a gym that is open 24 hours makes a huge difference and the staff that this EoS establishment has is one of the friendliest and attentive I've seen by far. One of the usual night crew employs named Chris T. makes going to the gym feel like a second home from the minute you walk in. Going as far as giving you a run down of the gym, explaining different memberships (with prices and fees), to asking what your fitness goal is and offering programs exclusively at this EoS with some of their personal coaches that they have. Overall that man is always on the go making sure the equipment is put away where it's supposed to, and restocking the fridge for other members that might be a little thirsty or need a boost of energy. It’s an overall solid gym. More busier than other gyms but that’s good for the owners pockets. It gets the job done but I’ll say I haven’t had the urge or opportunity to get a workout done here. I just be ready to go after about 20mins of standing around waiting for space or equipment— I just really overwhelming just to workout.. I want to share a deeply disappointing and unprofessional experience I had on my very first visit to EOS Fitness, which took place when I attempted to redeem a 7-day pass and potentially sign up for a membership. What was supposed to be a simple process turned into a humiliating situation where I was treated with hostility, accused of actions I did not take, and ultimately asked to leave under threat of the police — all without raising my voice, causing a scene, or doing anything inappropriate.

Here’s what happened:

After researching gyms online, I came across EOS Fitness and signed up for a 7-day pass through your website. I received confirmation via email and text, and drove to the location excited to try the facility and potentially become a paying member.

I checked in at the front desk, filled out the information on the iPad, and was then directed to speak with the general manager, Kasee. She asked for my ID, and when I told her it was in my car, she instructed me to retrieve it, which I did without issue. Upon seeing my driver’s license, she immediately told me I wasn’t eligible for the 7-day pass because my listed address was not at least six miles away — despite the fact that I do live nearby, but just haven’t updated my ID.

I said fine — forget the free trial, I’ll just sign up as a regular member. To my surprise, she refused and told me she “felt uncomfortable” and was choosing to deny service. I hadn’t done anything wrong at this point. I asked why I was being spoken to in a rude, irritated tone and asked if she was having a bad day — I was calm, respectful, and just trying to get clarity.

I then asked to speak with someone else, since this interaction was clearly going nowhere. Kasee left and returned with Donika, the operations manager. Instead of de-escalating, Donika came in accusatory — asking me if I had taken any photos or videos. I had not. I told her I was on a conference call with my mentor and even showed her my phone. Still, she insisted that Kasee “would never lie” and demanded to see or delete footage that didn’t exist.

At this point, they both left and returned with the front desk employee who originally checked me in. He informed me I had to leave and that if I didn’t, the police would be called — simply because the general manager “felt uncomfortable.”

Let me be very clear:
• I never yelled.
• I never cursed.
• I never took photos or video.
• I never threatened or disrespected anyone.

I was simply trying to sign up for a membership — trying to give you my business — and I was treated like a threat, discriminated against, and kicked out for no valid reason.

This was my first day ever setting foot in an EOS Fitness. I left feeling humiliated and deeply disappointed. This is not how people should be treated, especially by general and operations managers who are supposed to represent leadership and uphold professional standards.

I will never do business with EOS Fitness again, and I will encourage others to be very cautious about how they might be treated.

Worse EOS ever!? 7 paper towel dispensers... empty!?! Like how? I used 3 machines and 2 were broken or not operating as they should. The lighting is terrible. Came here in lieu of 24 HR Fitness Long Beach - Bellflower and fell in love! This facility actually used to be a 24 HR Fitness until 2020 and retains it's original purpose - open 24/7 (for 1/2 the price and cleaner!!) 24 Hour Fitness LB & Cerritos both close early and are falsely & dishonestly advertising their facility & services. Unprofessional Management, Zero Customer Service

They have a zero tolerance policy for feedback. Management and staff will argue rather than act on constructive feedback or take accountability for any legitimate concerns. Wait times for customer service are unbelievable - 30+ min to sign-up, modify membership, change payment method, etc. The employees don't care if the business does well or not, they get paid anyway (especially the management). Take your money somewhere else, you'll be glad you did.

Your best bet would be to let go of that "new" manager - she only made excuses instead of acknowledging the poor service, made several unprofessional remarks, bragging about how she is the manager, the boss, and "mama bear" of the establishment. I went in 100% ready to sign up for the best plan, and to my surprise, was completely talked OUT of doing so. Furthermore, the facility is too crowded. The vibe of the staff is unprofessional and casual. You need management who do not have huge egos. I went with a different gym nearby instead, and I am glad I did.

The free pass was misleading. It’s says “no commitments” on the website. I felt like because I didn’t sign up, they made the excuse that I needed to live within a 5 mile radius to get the pass. I was embarrassed.

This gym lowkey surprises me more and more. Y’all decided to add a dumbbell rack in the middle of the green area near the stretch cage. Yes, it’s usable, but you guys also added an “Outdoor” or “Backyard” gym and it hasn’t even opened yet, even though it’s been completed. I remember when that was being built back in 2024 and they finished it already at the end of 2024. I figured the “outdoor”/“backyard” will open in the summer but if it doesn’t, yall need to remove that and just add a basketball court to be more usable. Y’all be adding more employees than adding better machines or fixing them.

Worst experience ever, canceling is almost impossible, I canceled it back in Feb and they wanted to charge me until April, I went in person, called the 1800 number and even called their support center and they wouldn’t cancel it so I had to file a complaint with the BBB and apparently I’m not the only one as this company has a 95% of the people leaving having the same issue so they try to get as much money as they can from your bank. Be aware this will be the worse decision when you try to cancel, mine was due to a medical emergency and I was told they were waiving all fees and canceling at no charge and they still trying to charge me up to this date

After many years of paying for membership and not going to the gym, it was nice to be able to go and do a workout. It was packed with a lot of people this evening. The cool thing is they still have a pool, but not many people were using it. The pool was the main reason why I joined the gym. I want be a better swimmer so I can take a cruise.

Nice gym. Parking can be tough. Locker rooms need plumbing maintenance, cleaning, and less ac.

Can't understand how front entrance to pool area can be locked as 'exit only'. Someone could drown before help could run through locker room to save them.

Pool water is optimal temp @ 82°. Body oil stains need to be cleaned from under edges of pool and hot tub.

Showers are running better. Only 1 shower out of order today. Shower doesn't seem affected by flushing any more. Floors in locker room and pool area need a good cleaning.

Pool water is good temperature. Water aerobics instructor is good. Good supply of usable weights and noodles for pool exercises.

Some are taking photos in the locker room again, so pay attention.

This gym is an absolute joke when it comes to security. Someone broke into my husbands locker even though he had put a LOCK on it, stole his stuff. The lock was clearly messed with and Jammed it and when he reported it, the staff couldn’t care less and just repeated, ‘we’re not responsible.’ So what’s the point of lockers and locks if anyone can break in and the gym doesn’t bother to investigate! Completely unacceptable. I will never trust this place again!

Cleaing of hot steam room .fungus grow die in black sliply on the wall so badly ... brush fungus with hard brush completely thenwashout with water at least once a week . What they have done is spray chemical soap and spray water once a month just pretending done, ? I think . Also too much noise music

I love this gym. Please make hot water and soap in the men’s room a priority. It’s a frequent occurrence that multiple showers are out of soap when I visit. The staff works hard and I’m grateful for them but please focus on the basics like hot water and soap.

It’s gotten better. 9/10 sauna is working most of the time. Sometimes smells like cheese in there randomly. Bathrooms are better I see it being stocked often but still go in there and toilet seat covers are out or out of tp. It’s a heavy traffic gym especially on the older generation side maybe that’s why. So better but still needs some attention in that area.

Love this gym, BUT the members need to be held accountable to pick up weights/kettle balls and put them where they belong. It is a nightmare and super dangerous, which creates liability for EOS!

Let me start off by saying I hate gyms. I've given several of them my money each month over the years until I finally decided to abandon gyms for small studios (e.g cycling, Pilates). Then EoS Fitness came to town. I joined because I needed access to a pool so that I could rehab my knee. The low monthly price was too good to pass up in addition to all the amenities.

I haven't used any of the equipment so I can't review that. I only attend classes: cycling, Pop Pilates, water fit, cardio barre, Body Pump, build the peach, HIIT). Every Water Fit instructor I've had, I've loved. Jennifer is hilarious. I can see why she has such a huge following. She made me feel right at home and gives really great tips during the workout. MacKenzie Barre class is stellar bar none. I've also taken her cycling class. She is good at all the things. Jeannie and Zaira are absolutely amazing. They teach back to back classes and don't get winded like the rest of us mortals.😵‍💫

The people at the front desk are always friendly. Most of them are not snobby and sound genuine when they say 'Enjoy your workout'.

The only reasons I'm not giving them 5 stars is
-the pool temperature is almost always cold. I literally cannot think when it's cold. As awesome as the instructiors are, enjoying the water fit class is nearly impossible when I'm a popscicle.
- I'm unclear when the equipment and rooms get cleaned and by who because it's certainly not by the clients. How hard is it for people to wipe down the equipment and everything used after a class? One or two spray bottles of cleaning solution and hand sanitizer dispensers does not a clean gym make. There aren't even sanitizing sprays in the studio rooms. My workaround is that I bring my own cleaning towelettes. There are too many germs and airborne diseases going around for no consistent cleaning to be happening.

Those things aside, I enjoy going to EoS Fitness. It really is an affordable gym where all are welcome. I see people in wheelchairs and blind guests so they are clearly ADA compliant. EoS is well on its way to becoming a 5 star gym.

Reminds me of an upgraded 24 hour fitness. I’m loving the locations being open 24 hours; this allows me to go when my busy schedule allows me. The staff is wonderful. I will say sometimes the paper towels run out quick for wiping the machines down. I also noticed sometimes it’s hard to find a front desk staff member if you come in the wee hours in the morning.

I enjoy going there a lot great place wonderful staff. If I could add one thing some of the cable machines I think need a little lubrication you can feel some dry dragging during movements it’s not bad but I can notice it. Otherwise I Love going there.
