Overall very good EOS facility. It has been months since its grand opening but it's still the most popular location in the Coachella Valley. It is constantly busy especially when they run their bring a friend promos, so if that's not for you try another location. The Palm Desert location was recently updated with all the latest equipment I'd suggest giving it a visit I'd you haven't been in a while.

My experience at EOS Fitness in Indio has been nothing short of exhausting. We were assured by Eric, the manager, that canceling our membership would be simple. That was the first lie. The front desk repeated the same script over and over — “it’s canceled,” “it’s in process,” “don’t worry.” Meanwhile, the monthly charges kept coming.

When you call to dispute the charges, you don’t reach the gym. You’re sent to a third-party company that conveniently claims they can’t help and tells you to “call the club.” When you call the club, you get more excuses and more lies. Two months later, we’re still being charged, and still no refund.

Save yourself the frustration. This place is disorganized, dishonest, and a waste of time and money.

This gym was massively overcrowded and in poor condition, they promised a supplement with a week membership and then refused to honor their promise, both the general manager Kumar and the fitness manager Tyler were extremely unhelpful and rude, they don’t care about honoring their word and or customer experience.

Don't trust this gym. They overcharged me hundreds of dollars and told me I would be reimbursed the money, only to receive a fraction of what they owe me (120). Even after escalating this issue, they said I would no longer be getting charged for training only to be charged 88 dollars on 11/07/25 and again today for 88 dollars. That is already over what they have reimbursed me. I now will be reporting this to my bank and canceling my debit card. Don't trust this bank I'm trying to do you a favor.

This EOS is by far one of the best gyms I’ve been too! The employees are always friendly, helpful, and brings great energy every time I come in. I love the gym equipment they have in this gym! I go early at 2 in the morning to get my workout in and most of the machines I want to use are not taken up:). The staff aren’t cranky at all either. I see them hustling around putting back some of the weight that's been left around, cleaning up after themselves and overall they’re friendly and kind when you walk in and leave the place telling you "Have a great work out" & "Enjoy the rest of your day."

Too many personal trainers. In a gym that’s extremely crowded most of the day there should not be 5-10 personal trainers taking up machines everyday. I joined this gym before they opened. It is a gym that is way oversold! The parking lot is horrendous with very little parking and super small spaces. Buyer beware…..When you sign up make sure they tell you about all the fees if you want to cancel. Also find out How to cancel. Not as easy as signing up! They are very quick to get back to you if you want to sign up and hound you with calls about signing up for personal training.Not only does the company charge you your monthly fee, they charge you your yearly fee if you cancel during the time of being charged your yearly fee. That in itself speaks volumes of what kind of company this is! It wasn’t quite the same getting in touch with management to discuss crediting me back the yearly fee in which they took out of my account, considering I won’t be there. I Made several attempts to contact management and was told Elaine was interviewing .Not even an offer of let me get your number and I’ll have management get back to you.The front desk connected me to billing, in which they cannot do anything. I emailed Elaine and got no response. I called back and spoke with Sydney in which I was told maybe I didn’t hear correctly when signing up regarding being charged my yearly fee as well if it fell within the 30 days of cancellation. I am a business owner myself and this process of canceling my membership was handled so unprofessionally! Charging me a yearly fee when I’m canceling my membership and will not be there is wrong!

I love to swim, was a member in San Diego and finally had to quit because honestly the pools were so dirty, grimy and gross, I was afraid I would catch something. I had already gotten glass in my foot.

Now I'm moving to the desert so I called Indio EOS knowing they were a much newer facility to ask if they have a pool. OMG, the front desk person would not answer whether or not they have a pool unless I first answered her MEMBERSHIP questions.

This is manipulative and so desperate. I asked again, telling her I was not interested in anything at that time except to know if there's a pool, nowhere on the internet could I find this out.

SHE REFUSED TO ANSWER.

I love this place and the employees. It’s one of the largest gyms I’ve been to with great amenities. However, the past summer there have been multiple times where the air conditioning is broken or turned down too low. It makes it truly disgusting and musty to work out in the gym. To the management of this place — you have over 300 people working out in a warehouse in the desert, where temperatures regularly reach 100+ degrees, and you think it’s safe to keep it open without AC? It’s irresponsible and unpleasant. I can even hear the employees commenting on how hot it is for them. Do better.

I had to cancel my membership due to medical reasons. The girls upfront were very attentive when I got there, as soon as I asked how I could cancel their attitude changed. I had to create an account to be able to cancel, I had to pay one month plus the annual fee because they said it was coming in the next 30 days so I ended up paying $80 to be able to close a membership that wasn’t going to be able to afford in the next coming months. At the end I thanked the girls for guiding me to the process of canceling even though I could feel very uncomfortable. No one should feel like that when trying to cancel anything! At the end of the day we’re paying for it. Besides the last few times it was very hard to find parking space and finding available equipment was hard bc it was always very crowded. Once I can start working out again I’ll be looking for another gym.

Good equipment but absolutely grotesque overcrowding situation, several times i’ve scoured the parking lot found no luck and left. I don’t even come to this gym past 5pm on the weekdays because even if you’re lucky to find a parking spot that’s not 5 minutes away, all of the equipment inside is already being used so have fun standing around waiting 10-20 minutes for anything to be open.

OVERSOLD and way too crowded for me. Do you enjoy the crowds and lines at Disneyland more than the rides? Then this place is for you! I've tried to go when "popular times" chart on google maps says it is less busy but it always is still uncomfortably crowded. The only times I suspect it may NOT be busy is midnight to 4am. There are almost always cars circling for a parking spot when I go, and people circling you on equipment asking if you are almost done. Paying for personal trainers here seems to be a particularly bad idea because I see them and their clients standing and waiting as well. The line of 30(?) treadmills is often at capacity. Have you ever wondered why gyms usually have a rules sign that says no bags on the gym floor? They are everywhere at this gym (despite the sign). Gym towels seem to be more the exception than the rule. Last night there was water pouring from the ceiling onto some workout bikes. The sauna in the mens room has been broken for a week. When it works, PEOPLE ARE ARE CLOTHED + WEARING DIRTY SHOES, and the last time I was trying to use it a staff member came in during peak hours to power wash and told everyone to get out. I think the planet fitness massage chairs worked better than here, and I'm thinking about going back because the equipment was still fine and it is probably even less crowded now that everyone is at this gym instead.

Not experienced enough in getting gym memberships. However, my experience here has not been ideal. I was told I was a "good candidate" for their personal training program. I said I just wanted a membership. They didn't take no for an answer. They asked more personal questions. I'm very open and said things that made them justify why I needed it. Another person stepped in and told me more details about the program.
Eventually, I felt worn down and I'm a very anxious person that tries to avoid confrontation but didn't think I had to stand my ground for a gym but now I pay for their 4 month pt program that apparently I can't cancel at all. If I can't make a session or didn't reschedule. I'll get charged more. Very disgusted with how it all works. I know I should've read closer but I felt overwhelmed from their insistence and anxiety and noisy environment. This shouldn't be a normal business practice. It seems predatory
If you struggle with being firm on what you exactly want, I suggest avoiding this place. The movie theater room was cool though

I have been a member of EOS Palm Desert since it was still a Golds Gym. I happen to be in the neighborhood. I told the front desk staff that I just want to look around. I did let them know that I am a Palm Desert member. The girl up front asked for my number. Shy typed it in the system. Then told me she could not let me in? She looked at the other coworker, then coworker said I have to acompany you. I told her ok. I just literally went around the counter, took a look around. Not even 10 seconds, and left. Damn, ya'll got some trust issues. Would I try to upgrade, and gain access to this location? Hell no, would I recommend this location to friends? Of course not!

This gym does get busy; i stopped caring the more i came and got used to it. If you have social anxiety may not be for you however the perks are worth it. Cleaning crew on top of it every night, outdoor area to stretch and sweat, private movie area (my fav), massage chairs, women’s private sauna and classes with variety (so much fun!) Shout out to Aaron for the amazing classes. last note: everytime i nudge employees and ask when things will be fixed im always given a short answer of maybe this day or that day etc. When i asked Greg he made me feel seen and took initivate with a solutions oriented approach. He took the time to contact management, vendors etc and boom! Women’s sauna is fixed. Anyway great gym 🙂

I’ve been trying to get a refund clarification, but I haven’t received any response from the email I found (just by chance). At the gym, they told me to talk to my bank. My bank says you need to reprocess the refund correctly. I just want my money back and to be done with you.
You pressured me into buying a membership I didn’t need, I canceled it the same day, and now it’s been over two months without my money—all because of an error you made. How am I supposed to get a solution?
Pd. I do not recommend this gym; it’s always crowded. If you don’t hire a personal trainer, is dificult use some machines. Only the group classes are somewhat worth it, but even those are always full. Good luck getting in here because it will be hard to get out.

Real crowded all the machines were taken look like the AC didn't work it was very hot inside so it didn't help to be there. I was also there around 1:00 p.m. so that could be it.

Yvonne was a huge help answering all my questions when figuring out the recovery room and den access. She was thorough and kind. I've been here a couple times and love the variety of machines. This location has alot to offer. I also have children who attend the kids club where parents can check on their kids by the movie theater screen without physically going to the kids club. The only thing I dont like about this location is no matter what time I go there's ALOT of people other than that this location is great!!!

Signed up for a 7 day trial online as I wanted to check out the new gym, since I’d been to a different eos location 8 years ago as a guest they were unwilling to honor their guest pass and made me pay 20$ for a day pass, once inside the facility is very nice as it’s newly opened but is insanely packed to the point where I had two people waiting on my bench, nobody was wiping down their equipment, the lighting at the gym is also very poorly set up as when your on bench the lights are shining right at your eyes blinding you, while the bathrooms look nice they were quite dirty with puddles under the urinals and was relatively small considering the size of the rest of the gym. The cable stack outside was unusable as one of the carabiners were missing so you could only use one side of the stack. While the gym looks nice now Id wager in 5 years it’ll be as run down as the other EOS locations.

From Front Desk to coaches to sale & Maintenance crew they are all great 😸 Conie is always very welcoming and helpful she's always taking care of something or someone . Bailey is very nice and helpful as well . Lazarus is a great guy easy to talk to because his such a great listener. They always have a fun movie playing which makes the gym more fun. I was new so it was a little hard to figure out the machines and where to find the ones I like, a little confusing the way they have the machines set up, it's a big place.. Came here for a Zumba class which was great, loved the outside side area and some of the new machines and other interesting machines they got here..

Big gym. I love the outside backyard to work out in. I have to say its a well kept up gym when it comes to cleanliness. I talked with the night guy with glasses, thanking him for keeping up on the cleaning. He was all over the gym picking up weights fixing the racks and picking up trash. I told him at 24 hr they never do that. I love everything about this place except the sauna isn't working at the moment and the movie room is closed between certain hours. Overall good experience.

I’ve been a member of this gym since its grand opening, and it’s disappointing to see how far it has declined. The sauna has been out of service for a few days now with no updates on repairs, and the locker rooms are consistently unclean—surprising given how many staff members are on-site. It’s frustrating to watch the facility lose the quality and care it once had, now feeling more like a run-down gym you’d find in Palm Desert. As a longtime member, I expected better, and I’m genuinely unhappy with the direction this gym is headed.

This new facility is a great addition to the valley! The facility is a big space with a variety of machines and a great organization. The staff is very helpful and ready to assist! Their back yard and recovery areas are also a great feature to have. The gym is very well kept cleaned and maintenanced. Great space definitely recommend!

The gym is very nice for what it is. Came down for the weekend, so I tired the 1 week pass and ended up paying 20$ for a day pass because no one was to help me with that. Also the front desk is pretty rude with the whole process, and started to sigh when I told her if they offered any military deals and said no. Wouldn’t recommend for veterans and active members.

I didn't necessarily want to switch gyms, I liked my gym I go to but was tired of making the 30 minute drive. I stopped in at EOS off Jefferson and Gary helped show me around the Facility and was awesome start to finish. I only wanted the basic membership (i'm that guy), but after the presentation from Gary, I got the full upgraded membership. If you want nothing but honesty and a genuine character to talk to if you are thinking about making the switch to Eos, TALK TO GARY. Super excited and looking forward to my now, 10 minute commute!

Great for weight training

Cons: the music is SO LOUD in the cardio area I CANNOT hear my own music or shows with my earbuds. (What is the point of their music since everyone has in their earbuds) I feel like an old person asking to lower sound. It really changes my pleasant mood when I walk in everyday. arrgh
The ridiculous TV screens ( I know - I am not watching but look up from cardio) have outdated game shows , informational shows and a stalled screen or newsman haha - why - just turn them off)
People do not clean their machines - they probably would if there were cleaning wipes instead of paper towel dispensers that sometimes work
So - I have the $22/ month membership where I can attend classes however due to back injury I am not doing classes. I asked to downgrade membership - they said sure for $50 or I can pay to put my membership on hold. It just gets better. Obviously this club is not for me- ~ but for weight training this is your club

This is a new and excellent gym - massive and very well stocked with everything and can accommodate the serious strength athlete or lifter who wants free weights , racks and bars and turf, as well as the basic consumer who wants the usual strength and cardio machines. This place is small. Online says fremm gym trial but you have to be a local in order to get the "free trial".. staff tried to compare themselves to the UFC gym that I attend to but the fall short and to top it off their sauna is small and the ceiling is also small, dam near bumped my head trying to sit down and enjoy the sauna.. sauna isn't even hot. Overall this was a horrible experience.

Looks good on the outside, but not very welcoming by my experience. Here’s what happened.
I visited from AZ, (but go to EOS there and have the black card membership) and so since I never been here, I asked where the massage rooms were. Mind you, I scanned in earlier and took a shower already. But I was looked at weird by the employee in the morning, and asked if I had a membership and to scan in. (I had a backpack with me.) So I felt offended because why do I gotta do it again? Because she assumed I was not a member? I felt judged and unwelcome. Not cool. That hurt. Anyway, I scanned in again despite the disrespect, and she pointed them out, but I just left. I don’t want to use a service from someone with that treatment. I’m not one to hit back, and my intention isn’t to turn people away to cause you to lose business. It’s to bring attention to what happened so it doesn’t happen again. I hope your business flourishes even as your souls do. Otherwise, why should somebody come somewhere where they’re profiled? I understand you want to make sure people aren’t just walking in without scanning in, but still; I scanned in. So unless management is telling there employees to treat your customers this way, I’d encourage you to talk with your female employee who was there in the morning around 7-8am ish on Saturday, April 12.

Since I’ve been a member of EoS I’ve never had a problem like I did today or felt unwelcome specially when speaking to the managers in charge. I have the highest membership so that I can bring a member when me when needed. My youngest son wanted to check out the gym but they refuse to let him in under my membership and forced me to get him a membership of his own even though I’m paying the highest one so that him or other people that want to try the gym can come under my own. I didn’t get no workout at all due to this situation and had to wait for someone to help me open up a new membership for my son. Missed my Zumba class and my training. I had better expectations since I’ve been a member for many years now.

Kids Club: The kids club here is amazing. I have a 2 year old and he loves to come to the gym with me. I mostly come in the morning and the staff is always so excited to see my baby. The morning crew, Sam, Anyssa, and Annabelle are all amazing. I’ve also gone in the afternoon and they are also great. I love that there is a camera in the gym to check in on your little one and when I pick him up, they always update me on how his day went. I love that I can get my workout in while my baby gets to play and interact with other kids.

The subscription policy is misleading. If you want to try all the available features of the room, you need to subscribe to the maximum subscription for $ 30. However, if you want to switch to the regular plan because you do not need all the additional features offered, you will be forced to pay a downgrade fee of $ 49. This looks more like a scam than a friendly service. When I registered at the club, the manager told me that if I didn’t like the plan, I could change it, and he kept quiet about the commission.
P.s. What managers write about how they strive to provide good service is a lie. They will not help you in any way and you will still have to pay a commission for the subscription downgrade. Be careful and read the contract. The maximum subscription is not worth the money.

I tried to go to the gym this morning with the week long free pass to see if I liked it since I’ll be living in Indio for a month. they told me that since I’m not local I’d have to pay $20 just for the day to see if I liked it or $70 for the month with more fees on top of that and wouldn’t honor the free pass when I was just tryin to see if I wanted to join the gym. Hands down- this is the best gym in the valleu. The equipment is top of the line, especially compared to planet fitness down the road. The outside workout area is something that ive never seen in a gym- and is a great touch. Its staff are great too, Brandon Afalava assisted me through all the steps, making sure i was gettinf the best bang for my buck and seemed genuinely intrigued about what brought me there. Id highly recommend an appointment with him and taking a chance with this gym.

I just got back after 6 years being away for work and obviously I needed a gym local I can go to. I have to say I’m truly impressed with this new gym and all of its amenities!! I joined the gym to go to new indio site before it opened and was told they would have a pool which sounded great this did not happen and the the new location opened months later than planned. I sighned up originally for multiple locations and was told id have to pay rest of year to downgrade despite being sold on stuff that was not delivered.
The new site is always busy but i will say great machines and atmosphere only criticism is it needs more benches to sit and change in mens locker room they do not have anywhere enough to match the amount of people using the place.
Realy is a good gym and set up in most locations just lets them down on being able to cancel or change membership.

I have been coming to this EOS Fitness since the first day it opened back in September 24. From the initial day of my fitness journey, I was offered to work with Personal Trainer who would help me reach my goals. I have lost about 25lb. I always have access to a locker, clean restroom, sanitizing wipes, and drinks because I do tend to forget mine. I love their equipment, great for beginners too.
