want to share my recent experience to help future members make informed decisions. Please be aware that membership cancellations cannot be completed through the mobile app. Instead, you must create an account and cancel through MyClubOnline, which is not clearly communicated and feels unnecessarily complicated.

Additionally, members should know that the gym requires an additional full month’s payment at the time of cancellation. In my case, I attempted to cancel today, even though my next billing date isn’t until 12/13/2025. My prior payment should have covered me through that date, yet I was still charged for an extra month.

I hope this information is helpful to others. Transparency is important, and sharing experiences like this ensures consumers can make better choices.

11/20 there was an incident that caught the attention of the whole gym, 2 of the trainer lady’s approached and tried to de escalate the situation and let the customer know that respect needs to be given to these machines. This customer just wasn’t having it and needed more help! Those 2 tried to do everything to calm the situation! Unfortunately the customer was asked to leave and everything was peaceful! I commend the entire staff that was involved because it could have gone really bad!

I came into EOS Fitness in Lake Elsinore today fully ready and excited to work out. Instead, I ended up wasting over an hour of my time sitting at a desk being pressured and talked in circles by two staff members — Al and another gentleman whose name I didn’t catch. My husband and I made it clear multiple times that we just wanted to sign up and get started with our workout, but they kept us sitting there, going on and on with sales pitches, unnecessary “evaluations,” and constant upselling.

What should’ve been a simple, 5-minute process turned into a frustrating, hour-long ordeal that completely ruined our day. We didn’t even get to work out. we left angry, disappointed, and honestly shocked at how poorly the situation was handled.

I’ve been to plenty of gyms, and I’ve never experienced this level of pushiness or disregard for a customer’s time. It felt less like a fitness center and more like a sales trap. If management actually cares about people’s experience here, they need to retrain their staff to respect when someone says “no” and to prioritize letting paying members actually use the gym.

If you’re considering signing up here, don’t. Save yourself the frustration and find a gym that values your time instead of holding you hostage in a sales meeting.

I joined this gym in September 2025 after talking with my doctor about needing to keep swimming while it is cold outside since it has an indoor pool. They had a special where I could get the first month for 11cents.

At the time of my sign up, I was given a free trainer session. So, I went to that session, which was very laid back and not too challenging until it was over. When it ended the trainer spent 20 minutes plus trying to pressure me to sign up for continued training. He seems like a really enthusiastic guy, but a little too intense on the sale. So I said no. It was such high pressure, I didn't feel like coming back for a month afterwards.

They also told me verbally at the sign up that I wouldn't be charged the annual fee until October 2026. However, that turned out to be false as they showed me the signed agreement where I signed that I would be charged the annual fee on October 24, 2025 (a little over a month after joining). I got a "friendly reminder" email about the charges coming up. I was pretty shocked. So I went over to cancel my gym membership. They said even though I cancelled the membership that I would still be charged as I didn't give 30 days' notice before the cancellation.

Overall, I think these young guys managing the gym could be better at customer service. As for the gym, it is relatively new so there are many new machines. The locker room was closed from flooding for an hour from flooding the one time I needed it to change to swim. The pool was a bit cool, but okay. The machines were pretty decent. The locker room was uncomfortable (no surprise). If they had better management I would still be a member. As it is, I spent $80 to go there once--not smart on my part, but not smart on their part either.

I just want to say the Gym has good amenities, but be aware of what they make you signed, because even though they say no contracts, they will get you one way or another, and yes they are very nice to you but once they get you into the membership and there’s a problem with them taking money out of your card, fir something they fail that’s when they can’t help you and even the customer service that calls to collect the payment is rude, and feels comfortable raising there voice and hugs up on you because you don’t want to pay for something that the Gym fail to accommodate to what they had offered. So if you get a personal trainer and they say oh just sigh here is for the sections you’re going to get, don’t sign and read first.

Another overcrowded gym. There dry sauna is always out of service. There’s a pink Lexus coupe that is always hotboxing in parking lot. There’s two young women always following elderly men around for attention. There’s a OF girl that promotes her OF (you’re not a baddie, have some respect). The massage chairs never work. Cryotherapy is down half the time. Customer service is subpar. Not enough cardio machines.

Management and staff are not trained in customer service at all. I slipped and fell in a puddle of water at the gym in March filled out the paperwork which the staff scrambled to find. I never received a call regarding my injuries. Took four months to recover completely.
The pool is almost always cold. People who use the pool need it warm because they are most likely exercising in the pool because on an injury or joint pain. Having the pool cold makes it difficult and more painful to workout. When it was brought to managements attention, he stated that is was maintenance's issue and there was nothing he could do about it. When talking with other folks in the class this seems to be the answer often given. There were also balls of hair around the outside of the pool that sat for at least a week. I go to this location because they are the only local EOS with a pool.
This past Sunday the substitute instructor was a no show the Gentle Yoga class at 8am. When serval of us went to ask if there was some one we could speak to about this, we were told they use a third party company. The staff on hand did not have way to contact this third party company to let them know their employee was a no show or let us file a complaint with this third party company.
The place is always crowded and the desk and management need to be retrained on customer service. I am currently looking into other local gyms with pools because of my constant disappointment in this location.

EOS Fitness is horrible. Their website doesn’t say you have to be 18 to use a week pass, but when I showed up, they told me I couldn’t use it. I tried to get information about memberships and pricing, but I had to wait over 30 minutes and no one ever came to help me. It wasn’t even busy, and the staff gave off a bad attitude. I ended up leaving without ever speaking to anyone. If this is how they treat new people, I wouldn’t recommend this gym at all.

I had a very inconsiderate moment with the on the phone 9/16/25 with the manager gabriel, I was trying to explain to him that i've been trying to put my account on HOLD for the past 3 month BECAUSE i just gave birth ( last manager i spoke with wanted me to get a doctors note stating that i had just gave birth).and I have not been able to get help with the previous with the other managers on site or associates, I still keep getting charged on my account so I decided that I wanted to just CANCEL my membership because I cannot afford it at this time AND BECAUSE OF THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, I HAVE RECEIVED. I was charged an annual fee and membership fee of $143 on the 13th day of my membership, not the 14th day (two weeks as I was told), and I went to cancel but there's no refund for the annual fee, even though I've only been a member for 13 days. I can understand the membership fee, but not an annual fee. They may as well not allow people to cancel? They don't have a corporate number, even though they're a corporation, and a shady one at that. I'm resolving this through BBB and my bank. THIEVES.

They violated their own CONTRACT (I was told differently but didn't read it clearly) by charging me last night, 13 days later, not 14 (maybe they used shady central time?).

Also, they don't have an EASY click to cancel option on their app, AGAIN shady, abd here's why: "the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) passed the "Click to Cancel" rule to prevent companies from using deceptive practices that make cancellation difficult.
The rule mandates that a cancellation process must be at least as easy as the enrollment process. The FTC created the rule in response to a high volume of consumer complaints about unfair and deceptive subscription and membership practices."

this place is not ideal. when you first sign up for a membership, there is barely anything that is stated clearly, so it's very confusing. you pay more than what they say upfront, and even though you dont go to their gym and ask them to send the money back due to not even going to the gym, they say that it was in their policy so they can't, but what policy? they did not make anything clear. they still continued to take money out. despite this, all this the workers there are nice, its just their system that needs more work on.

Beware: The personal training managers use shady practices and give incorrect information on the time frame when you have to cancel. The head manager originally said it was 6 days, others said 5 days but it is 3 days. They will not let you cancel after that and keep charging you no matter how many times you talk to them and email them. I was forced to cancel my gym membership all together even though it is a nice facility and I enjoyed using it. They are fighting me trying to cancel my personal training and keep charging me, when I call I am transferred to their 3rd party collection company who are rude and unwilling to let me off the hook. This has been going on since I first joined in January 2025 and in July, they are still charging me, I have not used their personal trainers but they won’t let me cancel. I’m out $400 for nothing, this is a total scam.

When I first started coming here I was at my worst. Beyond out of shape. 38% body fat and I weighed 190lbs. Today I weigh 160lbs and 19% body fat. The gym culture and community here is amazing. The staff and clients have been all love and support. I’ve never felt this good in my life. It would be great if she was scheduled on more days , there’s currently still no dance Monday mornings.
Recommendation:

Met with Gabriel, the GM of the Lake Elsinore location today. He introduced himself and was very personable. Usually if we tour a gym, we say we’ll think about it because the employees are like vultures but Gabriel gave us a thorough tour of the facility and didn’t pressure us into joining immediately. Spoiler Alert: We signed up immediately (on our own merit)!

I’ve had such a great experience at EōS Fitness, and a big reason for that is the amazing fitness manager, Clay. He’s incredibly personable, trustworthy, and made me feel genuinely welcomed from day one. We were able to agree on a membership plan that felt fair and honest, and I never once felt pressured which really stood out to me.

Even though Clay didn’t personally train me, the way he connected, communicated, and carried himself made a big impact. He made me feel like I truly belonged there, and that kind of energy is rare and really appreciated.

He’s professional, motivating, and clearly cares about the members and their overall experience. EōS is lucky to have someone like him in leadership.

While the kids' club at this gym is exceptional, offering friendly staff and great customer service, the front desk experience is a major letdown.
There's a clear need for the front desk team to receive training in communication and professional demeanor, including facial expressions.
Considering the membership cost, the recent experience was incredibly frustrating. I wasted time and gas today only to be told that my long-term guest, who has been visiting for months, was no longer allowed entry.

This was compounded by the fact that we had an additional visitor with us who is visiting for the weekend and suddenly, my 15-year-old sister, who has regularly been my guest, was also flagged. Such inconsistencies and last-minute revelations are disappointing and reflect poorly on the gym's.

It's truly a joke that there's been no follow-through on our membership and training fees. It's been over a month, and this unresolved issue is very frustrating.

I have had great experiences in other eos gyms but that was not the case for this location. I came as a guest and this was nothing new to me since I have gone as a guest to other locations in the past. This time around the experience when registering my guest account was horrible. I felt harassed and uncomfortable when Isaiah the manager was essentially trying to get me to buy a membership when I clearly stated I did not want one and I only came as a guest. I understand it is their job but the approach he had to the conversation was terrible. Considering he is the manger I would recommend a review on his customer service because it was awful. Avoid this location unless you want to feel harassed and uncomfortable. If I could I would give it zero stars but since I cannot one star is what they deserve.

EoS is a pretty decent gym but this is just for this location as I am incredibly annoyed at how crowded it always is which the can’t help but what makes it worse is that machines are constantly broken. Some machines stay broke for months on end.

The crowds wouldn’t be so bad if machines weren’t broken and people had to wait on others and broken machines wouldn’t be so bad if the crowds weren’t so bad. But this combination is horrible and makes the experience not worth it most times I come.

One other thing that irked me was seeing all the incentives for signing up for a membership online versus coming in to get my membership. I had to pay an “enrollment fee” of like $60 and then the next month had to pay $60 for my annual fee ON TOP of my monthly payment. Whereas if I signed up online, the first would have only been $1. And signing up in person was a mess. They rushed me and told me that I needed to be sure I wanted a membership and was actually going to get it today. I wanted a membership and was going to go for it, but who wants to be rushed like that? Also, I never got a tour so I’ve been learning about the various features of the gym each time I come. I had no idea they had a massage room that was for my plan…

The parking situation is a mess too.

What I like about this gym…fairly nice people who come and just want to workout. The staff are friendly and welcoming when you check in. There are a lot of features and things available to my tier. Though “movie theater” is a bit much…I’m not even sure how you’d listen to it when it’s on. It’s just a screen that shows a movie in the very back.

If they could fix their machines more often, that would go a long way to help with the frustration I feel as a paying customer.

This gym seems the most perfected out of all their locations in IE, I enjoy the diverse exercise options, the amenities and the overall layout. I think it's wild for anyone to give the gym a poor rating without even working out at the gym. Get a membership while they're still affordable ✨️

Only critique is their "different" gym rules in where they enforce separate fees from each gym as if they're not the same company. I think that's a money grab and they should reconsider what's more important, gaining trust of their customers/gym members or charge them fees whenever they get a chance. EoS has shown they listen to complaints, so I'm hopeful they will continue doing so.

The Nautilus leg extension and leg curl machines are not good for a person over 6 foot. They’re not ergonomic. Also most the machines have a switch weight selection (rather than a simple pin) which makes it more difficult to tell if your selecting the weight you want.

06/2025 Update: the rampant disrespect of these women in the locker room taking photos and videos despite the clear signs stating not to do so are buck wild. Management needs to do something about this because every single time I'm having to lurk around corners to make sure it's safe to walk out the showers in my towel because these females can't stand to not take mirror pics in the damn locker room. What if my kid got away from me and went running naked behind one of these Instagram model wannabes? No telling if she'd end up in a photo or on some bimbos Instagram page! Losing a star because I've mentioned this in the past and no one does anything about it

02/2025 Nice gym and the pool being heated is a plus however why is it that the hot tub is so filthy every few days? Also I personally think the women's locker room needs to 86 the mirrors. There's plenty of mirrors in the rest of the gym and I don't like looking around every corner when I'm showering and changing after the pool because these influencer/Instagram model wanna-bes can't NOT take photos and videos in the locker room. Today it was no less than 4 different girls and as I was finally leaving one was setting up a whole ass tripod.

I would like to see more effort put into the cleanliness of the pool/hot tub and the showers. I saw the same hair in the shower 3 days in a row and it's twice a week almost that the hot tub is yellow/brown and the workers seem to have no clue about it.

I know the gym just opened like 2 months ago but the way it was hyped up I would still expect better

Spoke to someone at the gym to cancel my membership before I moved out of state. Said it was all done and taken care of and my membership will end 30 days after my request.
Just got a call from collections after returning from my trip out of the country that it was never processed. Pretty annoyed. I never even got to go to the gym because they kept pushing the date back by months and months until I moved. Don’t know about how the gym is itself, but if you’re going to cancel make sure you get all the proof upfront because they’ll definitely come after you.

This gym has a lot of equipment and plenty of things to offer; however, customer service is another thing entirely. I've seen some reviews warning others about how difficult it is to reach someone + get assistance in canceling their gym membership/classes, and I can say that it is indeed true. This happened to one of my family members.

Expect to be charged indefinitely with hidden price increases. And if you do intend to get a membership here: please use a virtual card for payment. You absolutely will not receive any real help from their customer service.

I signed up for their $9.99 a month promotion. I signed up last year when the gym was under construction. I was charged the annual fee $59.99 in January 2025 and $9.99 through Feb-April 2025.

Today is May 17, 2025, I was checking my account transactions and saw a pending charge of $12.98. I did not get a notification about price increase. I checked my contract and didn't see any verbiage about price increase. I already contacted EOS customer service for an explanation.

Check your membership fee people. I understand, it was only an additional $2.99, but it's the principle!!

You won't find a better gym for the price. Everything is new and this location offers so much, they have a pool & jacuzzi, sauna, kids club, group fitness studio, a studio for the fitness enthusiasts who like to record their content, a cinema room where you can workout and watch a movie, along with all of that, they have the egym smart machines, a cyro room, and a room with massage chairs! There's more offer, that's just off the top of my head.

I have to modify my review from 5 to 1 star because of my experience with customer service at this gym. I wish I had heeded the previous bad reviews that warned me of their horrible service.

Beware of the staff that push you to sign a PT agreement without fully disclosing the details of the contract. I requested to freeze my training and start at a later date due to financial constraints and being out of the country, but was getting charged even though I was not using the service. Despite calling and emailing repeatedly to cancel or stop the charges, no one resolved my issue for months and it caused me great stress and frustration. I was not able to get a refund but was credited for the sessions I was charged for.

Note that if you sign up, you are allowed 3 days to cancel for any reason otherwise you are locked into a 4 month contract that extremely difficult to cancel and impossible to get a refund for even if you have a valid reason. It's a shame this gym uses such tactics to extort money from customers, because this gym is one of the best I've used. Sadly, I will not be continuing my membership and will do everything to have my membership cancelled ASAP.

It was that time of the month and I had to use the restroom to get tidied up and they were the only establishment open in that area at the time, so I stopped in to ask to use the restroom and was greeted by a tall guy (blond hair) who was unsympathetic and said no. Absolutely incredible GYM. Only recommendation is to get a (Cybex ) or similar brand Plate Loaded Squat Press. This GYM has the best equipment in the area already. Great job!

Since the gym is great it is super crowded. We always wonder if the gym is busy and even ask one of our family members that are training to give us feed back on how busy it is at a specific time. Maybe you should have a busy meter of sorts on the website or app. i.e. 30% Capacity 80% Capacity etc,

**Also, some of the leg equipment is getting a bit dusty (vertical press) from no use while others have a line (leg presses). Hopefully you will take a poll from members soon to understand what equipment you can add or subtract. Happy Customer! Keep up the good work! The awning for the outside area is fantastic.

EOS is far from any gym I've experienced. I had decided to make the switch from LA fitness having many complaints that had me feeling down on my luck in terms of gyms and fitness goals. The minute I stepped foot into the new EOS location at Grape St, I was excitedly welcomed in. After briefly explaining what I'd like to focus on to find personal growth, I met Kelly Liu, who immediately put any worries I had about the gym to rest. Kelly was attentive to my specific goals and strived to make me feel comfortable, something no one was able to accomplish for me at any gym. I had told her I had been uncomfortable attempting to make new friends and she quickly introduced me to multiple people that I now say hi/bye to every time I'm at the gym. Kelly then introduced me to my now trainer, Janessa Barraza, who has quickly become my favorite person. She has changed my life for the better in more ways than one. She's helped me become stronger physically, but more importantly, mentally. With Janessa's help, I've overcome many obstacles. We're still working on my confidence but I'm no longer self-sabotaging my life and fitness goals. I feel as though she not only tailors my workouts to my specific fitness goals helping me see daily progress, but she's helped me align with my higher sense of self, making me reach my full potential while inspiring me to create and maintain an optimistic outlook on life. There truly is nothing this young woman can't do and I hope that anyone new who enters the gym can meet Janessa, especially if they're looking for a positive role model, accountability partner, and best friend. Overall, the staff is unlike anywhere, they certainly go out of their way to notice you upon arrival and ensure you get a goodbye as well. I love EOS. I tell literally everyone it's the best gym with the most attentive managers and talented trainers.

This gym has been great, everything is clean, the equipment is nice, staff is very friendly. The best part has been working with Zachary as my personal trainer. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and knows exactly how to push me while keeping workouts challenging but manageable. He takes the time to personalize each session based on my goals and always explains the "why" behind everything we do, which has helped me build confidence in my workouts.

I’ve seen huge improvements in my strength and endurance, and I actually look forward to working out. He’s also super encouraging, which makes all the difference on days when motivation is low. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly knows his stuff and will help you get results, I can’t recommend Zachary enough.

Nice gym, very clean, the staff has always been welcoming at the front desk. Greets you as you walk in and says bye as you leave. I’ve been working out with a trainer Zachary since mid January and it’s been great. He’s a great guy/trainer. He knows his stuff, listens to what you wanna accompany work on. My strengths increased and my muscles are showing up quickly.
The gym does seem to be pretty crowded, but usually I am able to do what I want to do.
Overall it’s been a great experience.

The Zumba class is FIRE 🔥🔥🔥& overall this gym is top notch! Every time I come to the Lake Elsinore branch I’m greeted with sincere smiles from the friendly and helpful staff, plus the gym always looks clean and the people inside are active.
I myself honestly go for the Zumba classes with Mylene Green! From the first class I attended, it’s just been awesome! Sometimes instructors can dance per se, but some can also be like robots trained to do moves out of a text book, with no feeling (even though they’re ticking off the move checkboxes). Mylene is a world away from that type, she instructs her class with purpose, passion, feeling and soul! Her Zumba class is filled with so much color and vibrancy that if a zombie walked in there some kind of way, they’d be ALIVE by the time the class was over lol. The sound system is well balanced and pumping in the Zumba room & only adds to the authentic feel of the dance sessions. I could go on for days about how wonderful this class is, but I’ve got a better idea if you’re reading this. Come through! You’re going to love it! Guaranteed!

Thus far my experience at EŌS at Lake Elsinore with staff. has been great. My coach Zack has been very supportive and helpful guiding me through my workouts. Working out again at 69 isn’t easy to say the least. Only thing negative to say is that lately there has been some young men (teens) that think that it’s a wrestling arena and play around folks trying to workout. And, the sauna in the men’s locker room is constantly down.
