EOS is just good enough. This gym has adequate space and enough equipment for there not to be long waits in between sets. The air conditioning is great. The spray bottles should be filled more often. The biggest problem with this gym is that the machines break down regularly and the ones that are actually fixed are out of commission for weeks at a time. For example, the seated leg press machine is broken every time I go, but I can still use it anyway. Same with many of the abdominal machines. Sometimes they declare a machine off limits for a long time so they can fix it. If this EOS gym didn't have this glaring issue I would rate it 4 stars.

Current problematic equipment that isn't currently undergoing maintenance: Weights in the sitting abdominal machine get jammed and stick.

Seated leg press machine height slider is stuck in place.

I had the best time ever at this gym, the mix of free weights and machines are top notch. I love the pool and the steam room, they're perfect. The punching bag room is amazing and the classes here at Eōs Fitness very intriguing. The real sell is the staff, great personalities and all of them look AMAZING. Definitely don't skip on the cinema cardio room, very nice and dark, cool, and a great ambiance. The staff that help you sign on are sooooo nice, helpful, and friendly. The back has a scale, shower, bathroom, lockers, and is stunning. Don't miss a chance to hit a great workout here

I have been a member here for 6 years. This gym has improved on cleanliness. I applaud the housekeeping team, they are doing their part by maintaining the men's locker room, bathroom and floor gym clean. Maintaining the gym equipment operational has been a problem here. Currently there's a flat bench press that is not operational due to what it seems to have loose bolts. This leaves 2 flat bench presses operational. 2 Squat machines have been out of commission for at least a week. These are some of the most popular gym equipment here. Squat machine tag says it's waiting for a part in October. I'm giving this gym 3 stars based on it's literally a gym and has broken gym equipment out of operation for weeks.

Not hard to find parking at this location and even during heavy foot traffic I didn’t have any issues finding machines to exercise on.

I have never written a bad review, but Gold's has been absolutely horrible. I called to cancel my policy back in June as I moved. I got redirected to billing to cancel my policy, spoke with billing, requested to cancel and thought it was done and over with. Got re-charged again for July and was told “we don't have record to requested your cancellation from billing." The manager sent me to make an account online to re-request a cancellation instead of just processing the cancellation it over the phone. I even checked the policy agreement and I could request it via phone. Super terrible process and I won't be using Gold's gym anymore.

You must know I had moved to Los Angeles Miracle Mile area & went to the downtown location nop i do not like it therefore once or twice a week a commute to the Montclair location. Machines are consistently broke, and a good percentage of the working ones are jamming. Months will go by along with all of the excuses in the world before a machine gets fixed once they are fixed. Theyy break again. Seriously, walk in and see the inappropriate amount of "broken nachine" tags there are. Staff is either understaffed in the front or in a group hanging out. Maintenance does not keep up on refilling paper towels in fitness rooms along with sprays. Constantly over crowde, which is normal, but a lot of people use poor for, and that contributes to the machines breaking. Staff focuses on getting more clients far before actually focusing on the quality of the machines and building. This is the best gym in town and that is very unfortunate. Please read this and improve. You guys have the name, but also have the pride and pay attention to what customers need and take that seriously. 👉🤢Also, older men blow snot rockets on the sidelines of the pool early in the morning. When their are cleaning products, more people could be wiping down their machines and putting their weights back. That would be cool.... I'm stuck here for 2.5 more years because I stupidly paid in advance. Please Gold's Gym, improve for all of our sakes. We are here because we have individual reasons to be better, and we are being limited and restricted due to insufficient workout equipment. Oh, and it constantly smells like weed. Heads up. **1-Star Review: Rude and Unprofessional Experience with Staff (Mia)**

My recent interactions with Mia at this Gold’s Gym have been consistently unpleasant. She has been impatient, hostile, and outright dismissive—especially when I was simply trying to book an InBody scan to track my fitness progress.

This wasn’t the first time she’s made me feel unwelcome. Previously, she was cold and impolite, but this time, she crossed the line. After reluctantly helping me with the scan, she handed me the report and snapped, “You don’t need me to explain this to you, right?” in a condescending tone. That kind of attitude is unacceptable in a gym that’s supposed to motivate and support its members.

Between her rudeness and the lack of professionalism, I’m seriously reconsidering my membership. A business that tolerates this kind of behavior from staff doesn’t deserve loyal customers. Until things improve, I won’t be recommending Gold’s Gym to my friends or family

Im not giving 1 star because things can get better, but at the moment, i’m not a big fan of this gym at all, i was gonna be far for a while so i went to the front desk to cancel my membership and the lady at the front desk said “we can’t cancel memberships and i can only cancel by calling a phone number” which is a complete nonsense, they have too many employees doing literally nothing, anyways she said she can freeze my membership and that was my only option at the moment because i needed to workout real quick then go to work, she did freeze my membership and didn’t bother mentioning that i will be paying 10$ every months while my membership is freeze, and it doesn’t just end here, when i called to cancel my membership they told me i have to call 30 days in advanced which is also really inconvenient, so after paying 10 dollars every month for 6 months i had to also pay 1 month of full subscription payment, i wish it was just this, i decided to hit the gym while my membership was still active it was packed up, like REALLY REALLY PACKED UP, not even one machine or one seat was available, im so glad for Anytime Fitness, i hope they learn from them.
The reason i gave 3 stars not 1 because the gym is big and they have cool screen big screen and a swimming pool, if they just fix some things here and there they will be a good merchandise, especially if they open 24/7 which will somehow contribute to the “gym packing” issue

I am disappointed in how unprofessional management is and how much they false advertise. Everywhere in the gym, they have posters stating it pays to refer, posters states that if you refer 1 person (you get 1 month free), 2 people (1 year free), 3 people (3 years free, THIS IS A LIE. I have been a member since 1/2024 and referred 2 people and they refuse to honor what their posters say. Although, I have reach out to different managers (as they are always changing management) I get nowhere, just false promises, all they say is they will open a ticket and get this issue resolved, one year in and nothing. Recently I have reached out to Pedro Rojas (general manager) which at first seemed like he would be helpful, unfortunately, HE WAS NOT. He was at first and now he has ignored my calls and emails. As much as I enjoyed being part of this gym due to their classes and their amenities, their staff is what makes you not be part of it. Now, I have to look elsewhere, but first I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau

It’s finally going to receive a much needed remodel in the coming months as this location is showing its age. From what I understand, new equipment is on order throughout the facility as well as new lockers and facelift in both men’s and women’s locker rooms. 5 star review due to engaging staff and always extending both a welcome and departing greeting if opportune ( staff not being indisposed due to assisting members at the reception desk ) Overall facility is maintained clean with a few pockets of disarray in the locker room mainly on weekends and may be due to staffing challenges. Not knocking off stars due to this or gym member culture of not wiping done equipment after use. Beyond control of gym staff assuring members clean up after machine use. Equipment is maintained and if servicing is needed, it’s promptly addressed. Look forward to the remodel.

I bought a trainers package here, and Markell Shivers one of the trainers, was so great; I made results with him in 2 weeks.The other trainer Isaiah corrected some of my form, on my upper body strength training too I was surprised, that I had been not fully isolating my pecs on my press on the flat bench. I had to cancel my membership after a truly frustrating and disheartening situation. I was boxing in the gym’s boxing room, and I was the only female in there when, around 10:05 PM (with the gym closing at 11:00 PM), maintenance staff stormed in unannounced. They began spraying cleaning chemicals on the mirrors and the floor, forcing me to wrap up my session early, despite not being done working out. It felt like I was being kicked out without any consideration, especially as the only person in the room.

I confronted the maintenance staff within the moment about why they would disrupt my workout like this, and let them know I would be reporting the issue to management the next day. I also made it clear they should never do this again. After this incident, I decided to cancel my membership, but canceling with Gold’s Gym turned out to be a NIGHTMARE.
The process was unnecessarily difficult, and I want to warn others that it’s almost impossible to cancel your membership smoothly.

On top of that, a huge portion of the gym’s machines were broken. It felt like 90% of the equipment was either out of order or poorly maintained, which is completely unacceptable for a gym of this caliber.

Overall, the lack of respect for my workout time, the poor condition of the equipment, and the frustrating cancellation process made it clear I would not be continuing my membership at Gold’s Gym. Be aware before signing up — this is not a gym that values its members’ time or makes it easy to leave when needed.

I haven’t been in the gym since I lost my arm, but at golds gym it’s been a great experience so far. People have been supporting me and helping me when needed. The staff has been very kind I couldn’t ask for a better staff then they have right now. if you are thinking about giving up you can do this! I lost an arm but I still go 5x a week even when I don’t want to!! Any doubts or problems you may face you can do this just believe in yourself!!!
