I signed up for a monthly membership and some personal training classes with Miranda. I heard a few rumors about EOS being an overcrowded gym, I’m a late afternoon guy and I have not experienced this yet in nearly 10 visits.

Miranda was transparent about the costs on an ongoing basis and even took great care to assign me to the right personal trainer who could accommodate my spine issues.

I have no issue voicing any complaints or concerns in person, but I simply don’t have any and I wanted to give kudos to EOS and Miranda. So far the experience is above average, facilities are clean, staff is friendly.

Lots of great machines here terrific space lots of light open views Clean locker room 24 hours too love it. Lots of outside views from this gym doesn’t make you feel closed in like plenty of other facilities in the valley. Never sign up for the training, they will scam you and run your bank dry… each time they say they will fix it and stop charging us… they KEEP CHARGING US ANYWAYS … it’s been months and we are out so many hundreds of dollars we had to cancel our anniversary… to this day we are still being over charged and they won’t stop no matter what we do… I don’t know what else to do they won’t stop charging us no matter what we do

Do not sign up for this sketchy gym! Go to IN SHAPE in Cathedral City instead. The salespeople at EOS are manipulative, committed to make you sign contracts for services you do not need, and they don't fully explain what they're making you sign-up for! The EOS salespeople are trained the same way SCAM CALLERS are trained, which is that they use specific words and examples to guilt-trip and sweet-talk you into signing up for services beyond just a standard gym membership and EOS makes it really difficult to cancel. EOS even force you to pay with debit instead of credit, that way they can get away with ripping you off more easily. The gym also does not have enough parking, the workers at the desk are either rude or antisocial, and other gyms offer more for less money (EOS doesn't even have a pool like IN SHAPE GYM does, for example). Do not sign up for EOS.

I have been coming to this gym for 2 years now. Overall it has gotten better in some respects and worse on others.

Pros- The front staff is great at welcoming you, staff is getting more in-tune to restating the movie when it ends. The $100 annual and $10 a month fee is a good price and the thing that keeps me coming back.

Cons- if you come anytime after 3PM until 9 PM (Monday through Wednesday), it is VERY CROWDED. It’s difficult to find parking and it’s sometimes a hassle to get on a machine while groups 20 something’s converge on a single machine. Space in the free weight room is always limited. Machines are sometimes not fixed for weeks as well a many patrons playing on their phones instead of actually working out on a machine (while others wait for the machine). Finally, it’s World Series time as I wrote this and not one television screen is showing it. .

How long would you think it takes to get a water heater repaired... They're always saying they bought seven new water heaters why don't they use their warranty and get it fixed. Sick and tired of always having a lukewarm to cold shower. I've never known a gym that can't keep a water heater working.

Love coming to this gym! If you are looking for Zumba classes, Dora T. is the class to come to! Always a party and the energy and people who attend her classes are so much fun!

My only complaint about this gym is that parking is a nightmare, but you do get an excellent workout and the staff is always helpful. I am glad I signed up!

Personal training program is a joke - don't waste your time or money. I signed up for a personal trainer, Samantha, and she didn't call or show up to 2 of my first 3 appointments. Super unprofessional. Buddy made all kinds of excuses for her when she honestly should have been fired. I canceled my contract due to gym's breech of contract, but it took over a month of continuous follow up w/Buddy, then finally a call to corporate to get it done. EOS continued to charge me for sessions for over a month, I ended up filing a dispute w/my credit card company and won. Their classes are good and I like the movie room with treadmills, but the front office is terrible.

The gym itself is a typical 24hr Fitness style layout. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. They have everything you need for a daily workout. I had no complaints and worked out there multiple times a week for several months. Unfortunately a few months into my membership I realized I was being billed $60 a month for the two $9.99 a month memberships I signed up for. When I called to inquire I was told that these were “late fees”. This didn’t make sense because every month it was paid on the 1st as the contract stated it would be billed. Turns out they are in the habit of processing your membership days early and since I had it on my junk card that I max out and pay off at the end of every month it wasn’t clearing. So even though it was cleared and paid on the 1st I was being hit with these fees. They seemed completely unconcerned with the fact that it was to be billed on the 1st as per contract and basically told me if I didn’t like it too bad. I could take them to small claims I suppose but they know most people don’t have time for that and so they scam clients with this game apparently.
I obviously canceled but it’s a shame because it was a very convenient location for us.

The staff is very friendly and the equipment generally in good shape. If you ever find a time any day of the week when it is not overly crowded then it would be a good gym. Remember iot is low season now... What makes it a less desirable gym are the people that use the equipment without cleaning up, leave the weights for someone else to put away, take pieces of machines to other parts of the gym some it becomes useless until they return and my favorite playing on their phone and tying up equipment for up to 30 minutes for ONE person. The price is cheap but not worth having to split every workout into two days because you can find a single machine or bench to complete a single workout on a single day.

People milling around in street clothes, inattentive front desk. Local management said they would cancel my membership because of these issues, but weeks later - it hasn't been cancelled. All around, a pretty terrible experience.

The gym feels more like a night club with groups of men hanging out leering at women, in street clothes, not working out. Front desk will ignore you while they carry on personal conversations - and get to you - when they feel like it.

The gym is extremely overcrowded. There's little chance you'll get on machines or access to weights.

I received a 7 day trial pass but when I went in to use it, it felt like I was buying a car. I had to sit n talk w someone and he asked me far too many questions and unneeded questions just to use a pass. He then had his boss come over for the hard sell even though I said I just wanted to check the gym out so I had to put a stop to that. I ve went a few times but the gym is so packed u can hardly find a parking space let alone workout a full muscle group since there are too many ppl using the equipment u need. The gym is ok, it s 2 story but they don t have a sauna or pool. The other thing is that I ve received several texts and emails as well as calls in only 3 days to see about joining. That ALONE is off putting enough to not join. The equipment is Nautilous and find them to be uncomfortable to use as well. Overall not a fan of the place.

I had an amazing experience at EOS Palm Springs. I called early in the morning to discuss how to bring in a guest with me to workout. My brother-in -Law is for the week. I dealt with the sales associate, Jesse on the phone and in person and I cannot be happier with him. Miranda is the absolute best personal trainer I've ever worked with! She looks like a supermodel so you know she takes fitness very seriously, but she has a fun attitude towards fitness. The rest of the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful! The theater room is very cool both loterally and figuratively, and has bikes treadmills and ellipticals. Its two levels of equipment, and has even more aerobic rooms and private work out rooms across the parking lot. Wish i could show more pictures but I didn't want to get anyone in frame while they were working out. I certainly found my gym for when I visit Palm Springs!

Formerly Gold’s gym location I recently joined and instantly regretted it. They have absolutely sold way too many memberships and it’s reflected in the crowds Sunday through Monday anytime of the day from 7am-10pm packed to limit. There was a horrible leak in the restroom and they were still open. The whole ceiling was pouring water. Very hazardous for guests should have closed off the locker room. I tried it out for a month I got charged 85 Dollars for an annual fee When I knew already that I wanted to cancel. I went inside To talk with someone named malakai who told me sorry If you don't cancel within five days we can't refund you the money I haven't even been going for 2 months and they took 90 dollars. I have been going to EOS for approximately 2 years. The gym is fine if you are looking for a place to just throw up some weights and get some basic cardio. The gym lacks is several places that keeps me from loving it. 1) if you are going to have a belt squat machine (which is a piece of equipment very beneficial for those of us with L spine issues) be sure to have a proper belt and chain. Sometimes the belt and chain can be found and sometimes it can’t. Not acceptable for those of us that are members and cannot do conventional barbell squats. 2) if a member asks an employee for help finding an item that is not located in its proper place,
the employee should NEVER just shrug their shoulders and say “sorry”. Stop stocking your inventory and take the time to fix the problem. 3) Fix your equipment. If you cannot afford to properly fix it or
Replace it then up your membership dues. It’s exhausting seeing the same machines CONSTANTLY broken. 4) Put a stop to the invasive video recording in the gym. This isn’t a home gym. People here pay for privacy and a safe space. If you want to record yourself, read the room.

As a gym, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure these things are addressed. There are other options in the PS area. Don’t let neglect put this one the bottom of the list.

Don’t Fall for the Low Price Ads – EOS Fitness is Misleading

I joined EOS Fitness in Palm Springs because of their $1 sign-up and $24/month offer—but ended up being charged $92.97 without warning. I asked for an explanation, and their billing service refused to give a breakdown. Then my monthly fee was suddenly raised to $32.48.

This place may look nice, but it’s not worth the shady billing and rude customer service. I canceled and won’t be back. If you’re considering joining, be careful—they’re not upfront about costs.

Really hard to cancel a membership if you call or try to do it in person. I finally figured out it’s best to do it through the website, not the app. I googled how to cancel the membership and it took me through a variety of steps on how to do it.

This use to be a World Gym, EOS did an amazing job renovating it when they took over. Their machine upkeep is pretty good lately, maybe 2 machines broken tops at a time, but they have spares of the same. I've been to all 3 EOS in the desert. This one has mostly Nautilus equipment, great for drop-sets. The Members at this one like to keep to themselves, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I have also noticed this one has a lot of older ppl that can't be bothered to wipe down their machines. Mayor bump for being the one location to have three (reversible) peck decks.

Been coming since it was called Gold’s Gym. Easily the best gym with the most equipment across a 2-storied building. Plenty of bike racks to park my bike, and super friendly staff. Can’t beat the $10 membership price value as well 💪🏼
