I had a great workout. The layout was replaced by Gold's Gym before EoS bought it so nothing to gain from that but glad they kept the layout. I also like that the lockers were repaired. The men's locker water fountain should be replaced with one that has a water bottle filter system. Would be great to start a workout with a bottle of fresh cold water. Otherwise, the only other issue is that the gym gets crowded however that's a separate issue not the gyms fault.

Updated review: After all the renovations, they cut down the cardio machines in half and relocated all upstairs. It’s very cramped and always occupied. I’m disappointed because everything else looks great. I just wish they didn’t sacrifice the cardio machines for the turf hardly anyone uses other than for stretching.

This 1-star review is strictly about the condition of the gym itself. Although the gym was recently renovated and looks great, they failed to address issues that have persisted for years.

If you like HOT group exercise classes, then Gold's Valencia is for you! The Group Exercise room is too hot because the air conditioning is never TURNED ON before classes start, and there's also no AC in the cycle room. This has been an ongoing problem for years and has been brought to their attention numerous times. They claim it’s out of their control and set regionally. How is it that the rest of the gym remains cool, but the Group room is always stuffy and hot? This past week has been worse than before, with many members saying they feel as if they might pass out from the heat.

Let’s not forget when it rains. For years, water has leaked inside when it’s pouring outside. Towels and buckets are scattered throughout the Group Exercise room and across the gym.

What keeps me here is the wide variety of classes and all the AMAZING instructors! It would be great if they listened to their members and made the experience more enjoyable, without the risk of passing out or slipping on the wet floor. Unfortunately, I don't think anything will be done until someone actually passes out or gets hurt.

I can’t say enough great things about Kaitlyn and Krista. Coordinating a gym membership for one person is challenging enough—but they managed to get eight of us, all on a work trip with different schedules and needs, completely taken care of without a hitch.

From the moment we reached out, both Kaitlyn and Krista were incredibly professional, kind, and accommodating. They handled every detail with ease—from verifying access to walking us through amenities and making sure everyone felt welcomed and comfortable.

Bad service! I signed up for 3 work out session plus 1 body scan for a total of $100 I did NOT join the gym. The manager Zach singed me up for 2 weeks meanwhile I was on a work trip. We have no Golds Gym where I live.
After November when I left , Golds Gym charged me $150 including membership fees .remind you I live in another state. I received no refund, they kept on charging my card and nobody done anything to help with that matter.

Met with extreme hostility by the GM Josh. Absolutely unprofessional hanging up the phone on someone mid conversation. Threatening and unsafe environment to even have a conversation would not recommend this gym until they remove that guy. I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible customer service and knowledgeable staff at Gold's Gym Valencia. As someone who considers myself a "gym snob" and has held multiple memberships on both the East and West Coasts, I have experienced many top-tier facilities with dedicated and fit individuals.

I was genuinely surprised and impressed by the level of service and expertise, from the warm greeting by Ryan at the entrance to the seamless membership renewal process with Manager Josh Olson. I was also fortunate enough to meet Tony Johnson, the Regional Director, who happened to be at the gym the day I renewed.

The entire staff is attentive to any needs or questions, and I've been consistently impressed with the gym's cleanliness and the excellent arrangement of equipment. I am truly enjoying my membership, which I find to be affordable despite offering all the amenities.

I liked the gym but with the new renovations it seems like the management doesn’t really care about the cardio equipment. The new renovations they just crammed all of the cardo equipment into the corner. You would also think that when you spend all that money on the renovations you can at least do some upgrades to the showers. There is such low water pressure it is like trying to shower with a squirt gun. Also there is absolutely no hot water also. If you like to work out before heading to the office forget it unless you like ice cold showers.

I mainly go to the classes that Megan is teaching , Heidee and Rena are great also. The floor machines are normally always being used so is rarely that stay extra since you are always waiting for empty machine. I like the new football area downstairs to do sit up or other floor exercises.

Unfortunately i couldnt avail of the day free pass because im not residing in the area at the moment.

We are driving around parts if LA to find out where to live. This area (santa clarita) is pretty nice. And the housing is more affordable than la jolla.

I workout 2x a day so having a good gym near me is a must. It seems there are more locations (in LA) to live which are near a more 24 or LA Fitnesses.

Golds does give u a free pass. But u have to have an address near. Ive been driving around the past 2 weeks and 24 hours and La fitness would allow me to train 1x to see if i liked the facility. (Even without an address nearby. Maybe they were just in a good mood or didnt care?) no worries.

Its not a problem. Nothing an outside circuit workout couldnt fix.

Remember. These are big corporate companies. The staff will always be great, but the policies might be hit or miss.

The location of this golds is nice and in a good area. If u live in this area, good gym to go to.

The spin class was moved to a small room with no ventilation. I have requested fans, yet we are still suffering in the tiny, stifling hot room without any air flow while up to 20 people are working out at high intensity. I hope no one passes out from lack of oxygen or heat exhaustion.

The gym was alright, way too crowded. Josh(guy from Missouri) the salesman was out of line- I signed up for a trial to check out the gym and he wouldn't stop selling me on a membership. There is a skill to selling, but this was just flat-out unprofessional. 1 or 2 " no thank you's " should suffice, rather than rudely grilling a potential customer for why they can't afford a $1 promo membership. Golds gym is relatively clean and has a good selection of equipment. They just re did the gym and it has a lot more Olympic weight lifting racks which is a plus. The parking here is horrible as you have to walk quite a ways to the gym. They also have a steam room but no sauna.

New equipment provides everything a bodybuilder and average gymgoer would need. Deadlifting platforms, squat racks, a plethora of machine, and rows of benches in the dumbbell area, and many barbell benches. This gym has matched the quality of surrounding commercial gyms. Powerlifting or weightlifting at this gym would still be difficult though.

Probably one of the best location gyms out there staff is always friendly. They don’t seem like they hate their job. The gym is gone through some renovations, which makes it even better now there seems like there’s more space and room to do stuff and not feel like you’re gonna run into everybody disappointed they got rid of the cinema room, but they made up for for it by making the extra room and not feeling so crowded in there. I’ve been a member of this gym since before it was even completed, but it’s time for me to move on. The steam room is consistently dirty, and the showers have such poor water flow that it’s barely a trickle. When I brought it up to the staff, they admitted it’s a known issue—one I’ve had to deal with for years. On top of that, they no longer offer the town service that was once available. I expected better maintenance and service, but unfortunately, this facility just isn’t up to standard. Moving on to a cleaner and more functional gym.

Bit of an oxymoron to say Golds Gym and single peck fly machine in the same sentence. Please fix the one that's been broken for 4 months.
Also, unless you like waiting for machines, do not go around 530/6pm on weekdays. They have too many members and it's absolutely ridiculous there is no cap to it.
