Signing up our daughter at Evolution Dance Center has been one of the best decisions ever. She had no prior dance experience before coming to this studio, and from day one, she was embraced and encouraged to be a part of their dance family. Dance has become a passion for her and watching her grow and be a part of this studio has been heart-warming. She has been cheered on by her instructors, and I've witnessed her self-esteem and courage grow over the past year. I highly recommend them for kids of all ages.

We have been sending our daughter here for about 6 months and have had a great experience! All of the staff is super friendly and have been very accommodating when we needed to switch classes. I have recommended them to anyone that is looking for a dance studio. They are great!

Evolution Dance Center is more than a dance studio, it is a dance community. Lisa, Alli, and the entire EDC faculty and staff have created a place where dancers learn great technique from encouraging teachers with the right mix of hard work and fun. My daughter has danced at EDC for 9 years and been on the competition team for 8 years. It is her second home with best friends where she has grown confidence, grit, and determination that will help her throughout life.

It is 4th season for our daughter at Evolution Dance Center. She started as soon as she turned 3 years old. She loves to dance, and it is our joy and proud to see her dance. Evolution Dance Center is very classy and competitive dance school, when you see their students performance it is done on very professional level. We highly recommend Evolution Dance Center.

Our daughter has been taking classes 3+ evenings a week at Evolution for two years. This truly is a wonderful place. It's a great studio with amazing and encouraging teachers. As one of the students that is not a competitive dancer, we have found the studio open, welcoming and an accepting place to learn and grow! Evolution is just the best! From the first second you call and talk with Bri, to the most fantastic instructors, to the fabulous owner Lisa, you just can’t beat it. I wanted a dance place that was a fun experience for my 4 girls yet also had the best instruction. Everyone is top notch! And they truly care about your kids. Best dance studio in San Diego. I was a former dancer and really researched where to go. We love it here I have 2 daughters both dancers. This is a great family place to dance. They have made the best friends. The teachers owner and staff are the best of the best!!!

Evolution Dance Center is my daughter’s home away from home. She has been dancing there for 8 years and on the competition team for 4. It’s AMAZING how she’s grown as a dancer! The owner Lisa and her amazing team did SUPERB during quarantine keeping these beautiful dancers engaged via Zoom and finally in studio. I can’t say enough about this dance studio! Our daughter has been going to Evolution since she was 2 and a half and we’ve loved every minute of the experience! She feels safe, confident and learns so much, even at such a young age! I LOVE being a part of the Evolution family. Also worth noting, we live in Rancho Bernardo and drive to Carlsbad because it’s worth it!!!

EDC has been incredible for our family. It's hard to believe that our daughter has been there for almost 10 years. She went from a shy little girl to a confident young woman. The friends she has had here, are her entire world; a supportive and loving family. We can't imagine a better place for her to grow. All 3 of my children have danced here - and have loved it! My 13 year old has danced here for 10 years and adores her dance family. The owner fosters a kind team-oriented environment- everyone supports each other. The girls are super close because of the emphasis on team. My 7 year old had separation anxiety last year - wanted to dance but cried every time I dropped her off. Lisa and/or the front desk met her at the door every time to greet her and make her feel comfortable. I can’t imagine dropping my kids off anywhere else.

We arrived a couple of years ago from overseas to EDC. Our daughter has grown within this community of girls. The groups overlap one another and are loaded with encouragement from top to bottom. Girls will be girls and the owner seems to manage this as well as girls can be "managed"... The instruction has improved since last year! We dont venture very far into the facility to check out the bathrooms...but what can really be expected from very young girls and a clean bathroom??. I feel sorry for anyone who has to clean up after one much less 100 young girls. The parent community is great. WE are still meeting parents and often find that pick up time is filled with get to know you chat. Great place for your kid to grow up and learn from the structure Lisa has in place... the fifth star is there in communication. The Recitals are AMAZING...always WOW factor. Its incredibly evident how hard these girls work and how well EDC's system works.

Great if you’re looking for a babysitter for your kid after school and a bunch of unfriendly cliché dance moms.
Not so great (actually horrible) if your child is looking to advance in dance skills.
Bathrooms disgusting to top it off.

Who logically puts beginning Ballet with hip hop as a single class? Only for beginners being well...babysat.

I rarely leave reviews but after a second go at this dump I felt compelled.

Wish them the best! Don’t waste your child’s time (or your money) if they actually want to dance!
