Let me preface this by saying this review is based on my experience only.

This business did something really shady in my opinion, randomly charged my card for $1,890 after I completed my "contract term," and didn't even have the audacity to reply to my email with an explanation or apology or anything. Thankfully my credit card company offered protection against fraudulent charges and I changed my card number since this place kept my credit card info on file.

I wanted to support an Asian American owned business, which is what led me to FC50. I was a bit surprised they did no written contract, everything was oral, and they took my credit card info in their phone and saved it. I agreed to a 3 month term and paid for the first month up front on or around Sep. 10th ($720) for September's sessions.

The training sessions itself confused me a bit. I thought with personal training, your personal trainer is supposed to tell you what to do and keep track of your progress. My personal trainer often asked me what did we do last time? Or what do I want to work on today. That made the personal training session 'less personal' in my opinion. He did teach me proper form on various exercises, so that was a positive that I took from my experience with this business.

They charged my card for October sessions ($630) on or around Sep. 27th (I thought he had told me my billing cycles would be around the beginning of the month - but whatever). I had to travel overseas in November so we skipped that month. They did charge my card on around Nov. 19th for December's training sessions ($630) but did refund $180 after I asked for a refund because the amount of sessions I was doing in Dec did not add up to $630 (albeit it took them approximately 3 weeks to send the refund). At this point, I didn't enjoy my personal training at this place anymore, so I just skipped all my December sessions but still paid for all of them.

I decided after I finished the 3 month term, I did not want to renew here and left it at that. Then suddenly on or around Jan. 28th, I received a credit charge alert that this business charged my credit card on file for $1,890. Why would they do that when I've never even paid that much for monthly sessions? I emailed them, no response. So I handled the fraudulent charge through my credit card company. To this day, still no idea why they did that, and no explanation or apology from them either.

I've (37 male) been training at FC50 for almost a year now, and the transformation has been incredible. Prior I had issues with movement and general fitness spending a lot of time at my desk working. My strength has improved significantly, and I owe a lot of it to Joe, who's an outstanding trainer. He's incredibly focused on technique, which has been key in reducing the pain in my shoulders and knees but also helps me work out efficiently and safely.

The accountability at FC50 is unmatched, and the dynamic workouts always challenge my weak points, making me progressively stronger. I've learned so much about fitness and my own body. If you're serious about getting stronger and improving your health and wellbeing, FC50 is the place to be.

I have been seeing Peter for the better part of the year now. I was skeptical at first given my inexperience with personal gym trainers and my unsuccessful attempts at improving my lower back pain seeing a number of Chiropractors and PTs. I found him via Google reviews, set up a consultation with him and boy did he knew his stuff. He listens to you, is polite, and is extremely knowledgable of his crafts. He honestly tries to understand your ‘personal’ needs, body demands and ‘trains’ keeping your priorities in mind as opposed to his (hence in the most true sense - a personal trainer). He is very accommodating when it comes to schedules and day-to-day exercises based on how you feel and whats your goal for that day/week. He is very punctual and doesn’t let one session time slip into the next one, hence making sure you always have your full time for your work-out/session. He would also go the extra mile to research about specific questions you pose at him to make sure he continuously understands your evolving needs and concerns. Its always great to find a good gym buddy, luckily for me, I have found mine in my trainer.

I have significantly improved my muscular flexility, ability and strength. I am more knowledgable about my general body dynamics and look forward to my weekly sessions with Peter as opposed to just checking the box coz my paid the money. I would highly recommend FC50 to anyone who’s looking for a more human touch personal training experience.

The only regret I have is that I didn’t find him sooner! Kudos to you, Peter - keep up the good work!!

I have worked with Peter since late January 2023. My goal was to lose the baby weight I put on from my pregnancies and to improve my mood and energy. I was 120 lbs when we started training and now I am 105 lbs. In the past 3 months of working with him, he has always been professional and helpful. He has been patient and helpful regarding questions whether it was about training or nutrition.

I am extremely happy with the results of training with him. I feel much more confident wearing new clothes and I have more energy to take care of my children. I really recommend Peter to anyone looking to improve their health and lifestyle.

Overall great training experience with Peter. I would highly recommend giving Peter a try if you enjoy a great trainer, coach and learning about various training plans and exercises that are unique.

Training provides the slow grind towards my goals but there is definite value as I have a better gym/life balance and I make more meaningful time in the gym.

Working with Peter during my fitness journey has been many things - all positive! He knows when and how to push you when you think you can’t do anymore. He also knows when to take a step back when you know you can’t do anymore.

He is super attentive to your fitness needs and does a great job and making sure you understand what is happening to your body when you do certain exercises, and if you are like me all that information motivates me when I am working out alone. He listens to what is happening with your body and makes sure your body is able to do the exercises beforehand. Modifications happen, but if you are experiencing any type of pain Peter will readjust or change the workout to ensure you do not hurt yourself.

Another thing I will say was working with Peter made me feel the improvement of the muscles we were working on that week. Emotionally I felt accountable to work out and when I wasn’t I was mindful of what I was doing each day. Be it stretches, a long walk or just eating better.

In terms of pricing, for a personal trainer I would say Peter makes himself accessible at multiple price points. PT is expensive yes, but as investment in yourself, I couldn’t have asked for a better coach!

I began my weight loss journey in Nov. 2021. My mom had already been working out at this gym prior to this with Jasmine, her personal trainer. I came in to "watch" one of my mom's sessions and Jasmine included me right from the start even though she wasn't getting paid for me. The one thing I love most about this gym is that I have always been self conscious about working out in front of people and this gym allows me to work out with a personal trainer without judgement. Jasmine is an amazing trainer. She is patient but also firm. Her number one thing is safety so I know that when I'm doing a new exercise I won't get hurt. She listens to your wants and needs and is very flexible if my work schedule which has made it easy for me to stay consistent in my workouts. I have been working out almost every week since Nov. and have lost 75lbs. If you struggle with weight loss and getting motivated to workout this is the gym for you. Just look at my results.

Training with Peter and Jasmine has been a great experience! I joined FC50 because I wanted to learn how to exercise more safely and effectively. I’ve been training with Jasmine for three months now and I feel so much more confident in my form and I’m seeing consistent progress. I normally I don't take time to go online and write a review, however I have received seriously outstanding service. My experience training with Peter at FC50 fitness has profoundly altered my workouts, my ideas about exercise and a healthy lifestyle. right before the covid shutdown, I had a knee replacement and gained over 30 pounds. I was depressed, menopausal and ready to give up. This was just going to be me now. Then, I decided, maybe with the right help, advice direction, and support their was still hope. But I didn't want to pay a big box gym to set me up with some trainer giving me the scripted workouts. If I was going to do this, I had to be serious and disciplined! And i had to find someone who cared about "my" results. Someone knowledgeable and compassionate. I found that with Peter! I had met with a few other trainers, and knew almost immediately when I met Peter he was the one! and I was right! I have made amazing progress for an out of shape 62 year old woman! Even with my knee issues. Peter is very informed and always careful that I'm not injured. My body fat dropped from what I was told 29% to 17.75 and a month later to 15.4! During 2020, when COVID was extremely prevalent and home was the preferred place to be at, I’ve decided to make a home gym. However, after months of having it, I found trouble in being confident in my form. No matter how many videos I watched, I did not feel comfortable due to the fear of injuring myself. I knew I needed more than online videos which was how I ended up going to FC50. I was put on a 6 month program with the goal of fixing my form on workouts I tried before and also learning new workouts. Although form was my main focus, they helped me with nutrition and measurements to maximize strength and growth. Even though I struggled with gaining weight my whole life, I was able to put on 15lb! After my program, I am now comfortable in every exercise I wanted to do and even more. I am beyond satisfied by what I achieved from FC50 and I recommend anyone who is struggling with form or have any other physical concerns to come here!

I have a desk job and became skinny fat. So, I hired Peter as a personal trainer, and I’m so glad that I did. He is knowledgeable about the human body and makes helpful suggestions if I’m struggling with a particular exercise. His sessions are challenging but not torturous and always go by quickly. Peter motivates you and always creates the best
workouts. They are never the same and always
challenging and productive to your goals. I have
gone from 207 lbs to 190 lbs and that's just two
workouts weekly with FC50. I am only 7 lbs from my goal weight! Gained muscle mass and defined cuts

My posture hasn't been the best since I work an office job. I also don't so much physical activities. I wanted to find a way to improve my posture, flexibility and overall fitness. I've been training with Peter in the form of yoga, and circuit training. I've increased my endurance, strength and feel much better overall since before I started training. Since the beginning of the year, ive gained over 25lbs. I let myself go and tried to lose the weight from august. Since i have little knowledge of working out and nutrition, its been a struggle. In November, i came across FC50 Fitness and ive been able to lose 22lbs. I couldnt be anymore happier and satisfied with my results. I usually dont write reviews but afterq working out for 2 years now after having my son but haven't gotten the results that I wanted. I was very reluctant to go to a physical trainer because of past experiences, but Peter made me very comfortable with his health evaluation which put my goals into perspective and made me feel nonjudged. My main gain was to lose my stubborn baby weight and in 2 months I was already seeing my body change in the way that i wanted it to. His diet plan was a little too strict for me at first but then he customized it so that it was more realistic for my lifestyle. I would recommend if you are serious about getting results and / or had bad experiences in the past with PTs.

I’ve trained at FC50 Fitness with Peter for about a month now. It’s absolutely my favorite time of the week and I would highly recommend it to others. The owners of the facility seem like genuinely nice people and have all the necessary equipment for a full gym experience. Peter is like the best friend you wish you always had. He is very responsive even when I am not at the gym, and he occasionally checks up on my own development and progress even at home. In the gym he is very professional, constantly reminding me to stay on pace and to push myself to achieve my goals. His exercises, in my opinion, are highly effective. For example, I have dealt with a back problem for several weeks, we began addressing the associated muscle groups and now I’m beginning to feel much better. All this to say that if you have reached a point in your life that you believe you need a trainer to help you reach your health goals, Peter is an excellent trainer who has a genuine interest in seeing you succeed. As a military member and my work line, I’m expected to maintain my physical fitness on precise levels. Due to the pandemic, I couldn’t train at the gyms since many of them were closed. As a result, I decided to try online workout videos to stay fit for about two weeks and quit afterward because it was boring. It was then I decided to search for a personal trainer in the nearby area. I came across Peter’s profile and liked the description that he had experience training military members and that his style offers a holistic approach to nutrition, mind, and body.
When I called him, he asked me which were my goals for which I told him that I needed to pass the new Army physical test in March. He immediately asked me if I could provide him with a video link of the required exercises to get an idea. To my surprise, when I met him the following day, he had the gym equipment set up as they have it for the test. His initiate to go out of his way to set up and familiarize himself with the Army routine spoke greatly of his commitment and dedication. Peter took the time to complete a thorough assessment of my current fitness level, goals, and limitations, which was extremely important.
He is one of the most experienced, committed, and passionate trainers I have the pleasure to train with. He is focused on helping me achieve my goal of passing the new Army ACFT test and makes every session challenging and somehow fun. Peter always ensures my technique and form are always correct to avoid injuries and gives me the extra push I need when I feel like giving up. Peter is extremely reliable, punctual, respectful, and always ready to start the training routine ahead of time with the exercise routine planned. Lastly, in just over a month, I’m already noticing the changes in my body composition, strength level, confidence, and motivation. I will have no hesitation in recommending him as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness goals.

I am an avid runner. I use to run 7 miles per day for the past 15 years. In the recent months I've been experiencing pain in my knees. I've since given running a break and wanted to focus on getting in shape. I've been working with Peter twice per week and I am highly satisfied with his knowledge as well as his training style.
