FIIT60 is the BEST 1-hour workout around! We are a group training facility that feels much more like personal training due to the expert programming.
With 25+ years of experience in fitness, the owner is bringing personal training phased programming and integrating intro group training at a group rate cost. So you get all the attention at a fraction of the cost!
At FIIT60 we focus on form above everything, which is why our motto is “Lift Responsibly”. That is the philosophy of the program. We want to take care of all of the thinking for you. We will tell you what to do, how to do and how long to do it for. All the while keeping a very watchful eye on our members and correcting form when correction is needed.

I received a free week trial through an existing member who raved about this gym. I decided to give it a try even though it’s not the closest gym to my house. After the first week I decided to join, coach Mike is super knowledgeable when it comes to fitness training, he pays attention to every member to make sure everyone is doing each move correctly to avoid injuries. It has now been 3 months since I joined and I feel great and extremely strong. I typically go 4-6 days per week and love that there are so many different class times, if I can’t make it in the mornings due to work, I know I can go later in the day. The perks of trying the different class times is that you get to meet so many wonderful people from the gym community. Thank you Coach Mike!

I absolutely love going to FIIT60! After nearly a year here, I've seen massive improvements in my strength and overall energy levels – something I genuinely didn't feel before. I now feel much stronger and more energized throughout my day.
The biggest game-changer is Coach Mike. He's truly amazing, consistently prioritizing correct form above all else to ensure we stay safe and injury-free. He's also incredibly attentive, always ready to modify workouts on the spot if we have any ongoing issues, showing genuine care for our well-being.
What also makes this gym perfect for my busy life are the incredibly flexible hours and class structure. The gym is open every day, with 3 dedicated days for strength training. On these strength training days, Coach Mike offers around 6 different class time slots throughout the day, making it incredibly easy to fit my workouts in, no matter how hectic my schedule gets. This flexibility is something I deeply appreciate!
Beyond the excellent coaching and accessibility, the facility itself is top-notch. It's always spotlessly clean, with a great amount of high-quality equipment for every type of strength training. And the community? It's fantastic! I've met so many supportive and motivating people here.

It’s been about seven years since I’ve done any sort of weight training, and my previous experience with a trainer left me unsure about my form. But training with Mike at FIIT60 has been transformative. In a small group setting, he offers a one-on-one approach that I really appreciate. I have been a longtime client of Mike's and have stuck with him for many reasons. Mike truly cares about the longevity and safety of his members. FIIT60 member here for 2+years and finally writing an honest review. I decided to give myself the opportunity to get in the best shape of my life after a long break from the gym, especially post covid. At first my goal was to lose weight for my wedding but I consistently kept working out on addition to making lifestyle changes and to this date have lost 50lbs! Not only do I look better in my physical appearance, I’ve gained some amazing friends and appreciation for the community that has been built here at FIIT60. Mike and Damaris are fantastic instructors meeting all levels of experience as well as offering a fun playlist to workout to and a variety of workouts to challenge yourself with every week. My husband & I initially joined to get in shape for our wedding and now, it has been over a year since our wedding and we're still going here because we love this gym!
Coach Mike has not only encouraged us to be stronger (responsibly) but everyday at the gym is a constant reminder for why strength & mobility are so important to our everyday life and why health should always be a priority.
You're in GREAT hands going here! I reached ALL of my wedding fitness goals by joining this gym. I dropped almost 20 lbs before my wedding and I am way more toned now! The classes are unlimited so if you want to grind and go everyday, coach is right there with you! We also had SO many fitness questions while prepping for our wedding and Mikes input was always very helpful.
The gym is super clean (coach Mike is always cleaning!), very easy to book classes, challenging but you can TRULY make your workout what you want it to be (easy weights if you're not feeling 100% or if you want to go heavier, coach is right there with ya!)
Extra tips:
- parking is EASY (there's always a spot!)
- you can also buy a COLD Orgain protein shake right after your workout
- water refill stations
- 2 clean bathrooms
- good music while you workout
BOTTOM LINE:
This gym is amazingly structured for ALL ages, ALL types of goals, and ALL fitness levels. It's a hidden gem that we're so glad that we found!
If there's one thing to take away from this review.. Coach Mike is very encouraging, approachable and CARES about your health, fittness, mobility, goals, and his community. Go to a couple of classes and you'll quickly see all the ways coach cares about you & your experience with fiit60!

While visiting the Bay Area, my family invited me to join them for a class at FIIT60. I met their coach, Coach Mike, who was very welcoming to everyone. The gym is fully equipped with everything needed for an excellent workout—racks, dumbbells, kettlebells, plates, benches, and more. Coach Mike led us through an amazing workout class that I’m still feeling today. You really make it how you want it, in this case we just attended a wedding with lots of eating and drinking, so I wanted to push myself a little harder. He took the time to give each member individual guidance on technique and proper form, ensuring we lifted responsibly all through the class.
I’ll definitely return to this gym whenever I’m back in the Bay Area. Thanks, Coach Mike!

I have tried orange theory, F45 and others. FIIT60 is the best and it's thanks to Mike! His coaching feels very 1:1 even in a group setting. My form has improved a lot since I joined. He's also very accommodating to working parents - sometimes we get our son to the gym and Mike lets him sit in the corner and puts on the TV. If you are looking for a neighborhood gym, don't look anywhere else!

Mike is a very knowledgeable coach who is passionate about his job and makes sure each and every member at fiit60 does the exercises correctly. I'm 62 this year and 6 weeks into training at FIIT60. It's really starting to pay dividends with my mountain biking! This morning's ride I was totally on it and felt great!
I'm going to continue training with Mike Lunares. He's an excellent coach and always offers the best guidance on proper technique and body mechanics especially when I need to modify an exercise. I’ve known Mike for years and finally had the chance to come check out his gym and let me tell you…you aren’t going to find a more personalized group fitness gym in the bay! He incorporates strength (my favorite) hiit, stretching and mobility. Mike hits all aspects of training in a clean fun environment. I met Mike 8+ years ago when he was a coach at OrangeTheory. Right away, I could tell Mike was different than the other coaches because he focused on proper form and technique, rather than just being a cheerleader. During COVID, I had the opportunity to train with Mike one-on-one and it truly changed my life and the way I view fitness. Mike taught me the importance of consistency, rest days (from intensity), and correct form. Before I trained with Mike, I was doing a ton of cardio classes and I was not seeing results. Within a few months of working with Mike, I was stronger and leaner than I had been in my entire life!
When Mike and Damaris opened up FIIT60 almost 2 years ago, it was an obvious choice to sign up for an Unlimited membership. They put a lot of thought into designing the workout program every week, and you can tell they truly care about each member, providing one-on-one training and modifications as needed. FIIT60 has created an amazing community of people that make working out fun, and if you follow the program consistently, the results will follow.
As someone who has tried close to every workout class out there (OrangeTheory, Barry's, HotYoga, Spin, Pilates, Spenga, etc.), I can confidently say that that FIIT60 is the best group fitness class you will find!

Fiit 60 truly checks all the boxes! Mike is an amazing trainer and focuses on quality of movement over intensity, which is something I really appreciate. Mike seems to embody all of the characteristics I value in a trainer and business owner. The classes are structured in a way that you can focus on yourself and your movements - as opposed to other group classes that feel chaotic where you're rushing from one station to the next without enough time to properly get the movement down and adjust weights. He also encourages you to listen to your own body and not just push through when you aren't feeling 100% which personally I feel is super important. Honestly one of the best fitness finds. Mike is super helpful and is always making sure your form is good during the exercises. The workouts are so good and you’ll notice real progress. I had been doing a lot of the same exercises for a year at home through YT workouts only to come here and realize I had been doing them wrong all along lol. Since I started coming here I have gotten stronger. The environment is soo nice and encouraging. I really dislike gym culture and this place is so unlike any of the other gyms or bootcamps I’ve tried. There’s fun banter. The music is always on point. Coming here is one of the highlights of my weekly routine!

I am so glad I found Fiit60 facility. I have been going to the 6 AM classes for the past one year so I get to work under the guidance of two coaches: Mike and Damaris. Both coaches are awesome, they pay attention to correct forms and push you to up your fitness level without making you feel bad. I like the variety of different focus on different days: weight, cardio, stretches and core.
The best part is that they truly enjoy what they do which makes these workout sessions more enjoyable.

I have been attending FIIT60 classes through ClassPass since about a month ago. I've been to the Weights and HIIT classes with Mike and they are both intense, but rewarding. I don't have a lot of experience with strength and resistance training, so it has been super helpful to have Mike walk us through all the exercises and pointing out how to use the proper form. The class sizes are also pretty small so you get more attention from the instructor and can ask questions if you have any. With the wide array of class schedules, I look forward to dropping into more classes in the future to complement my personal fitness goals!

This review is way over due! I have been with the studio since it’s opening and I am stronger than I have ever been. Not only am I strong but my body has transferred in the best way. At this studio, he works on form and with your limitations. You are never pushed to go beyond your capabilities but you are encouraged to build strength within your own parameters. I've been working out at FIIT60 with Mike and Damaris for nearly a year. My body has transformed during that time. I've put on muscle, my clothes fit better, I am more flexible, and I'm more able to keep up with my three year old.
The programming is perfect for me. The focus is on lifting heavy weights, but the inclusion of core, corrective, and cardio means that it's possible to work out every day of the week without sacrificing rest. The fact that the program is every day really helps me stay accountable and make working out as much of a habit as brushing my teeth or eating dinner.
I love being in a setting where I can learn and improve my form and technique over time. I also love being in a setting where I can bring my young son with me to work out. Mike goes out of his way to facilitate this, which makes it possible for me to work out every day.

I was looking for a small group strength and functional training classes and FIIT60 fit the bill perfectly. Mike is a great coach to work with, knowledgeable and easy-going. If you are looking to increase strength and stability, improve balance, posture and flexibility FIIT60 is for you! Small sized classes where everyone gets 1 on 1 attention. You will get a full body workout in 60 minutes. The weight classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and you do the same template for 4 weeks so you can fully master the movements and increase weight by the end. Tuesday and Thursdays are core/cardio/corrective classes which vary each week. Fridays and HIIT and Sundays are stretching. The workouts are easily modified to allow beginners and can be more intense to make it hard enough for athletes. Mike and Damaris go out of their way to make sure everyone has good form and is comfortable with each movement. Try it out, you won’t regret it!

In September 2022 I was lucky to have met Mike and Damaris through a friend that joined FIIT60. I had been looking to get back in shape but didn’t want to go to just a traditional “gym” and try to figure it out on my own and eventually get bored. Mike and Damaris are excellent trainers and are very involved with their members throughout every class. They both are very personable and knowledgeable in their work.
