Firestorm focuses on building quality Heroes in life first, and capable athletes second. Our classes run for all ages, allowing kids and parents to learn safety parkour skills together, like getting up, down, and over large objects safely, learning to fall properly, and protecting your knees, joints, and face.
Firestorm trains students in classes from absolute beginners, to weekend warriors, to actual Cirque Du Soleil acrobats.

Coach Justin and Coach Amy were so generous with their time to walk me through their facility and their different programs. They listened to my concerns, my wants, and what I was looking for my 4 children.
Coach Justin (the owner) has created an inclusive, positive, and balanced environment that is a safe space for kids to challenge themselves and grow in strength and body control in a fun way
I have tried so many different programs (SCATS, LAEF, Pony, AYSO, FNL, the list is endless) and I think i have finally found a HOME that all my children with their differing interests, strengths and weaknesses, can enjoy and have fun and grow together!
They also have open gym which helps expose them to activities and body movement that they would like to try outside of their own respective class.
This gym is the perfect place for people who are looking for a place to grow, learn about their strengths, and have fun! And it is perfect for all ages, all abilities, all backgrounds.
The classes are VERY small with individualized attention even in group classes. My daughter was able to do more in 10 min into her FIRST aerial class than she has at SCATS for the past 1.5 years.
Grateful to have found this place!!! Thank you!!!

My son has had the max pass for almost 3.5 years now and he has learned and grown so much.
He loves his coaches and they are all so well trained and professional, firm, yet also able to connect with the kids at their level.
Facility is kept very clean and staff answers emails immediately.
Ive my son if hes ever wanted to check out others parkour/tramp gyms just to try them out and he says no he only wants to be at Firestorm.

My 11 year old daughter has been asking to sign up ever since she did an open gym hour a few months ago. She had her first Parkour class yesterday and loved it. She loved the facilities, the coach, and the activities she was doing. I have her signed up for some other classes as well, and she is looking forward to all of them. As a parent, I appreciate the upstairs viewing area and the wifi if I need to bring my laptop to get some work done. I'm definitely glad I finally got around to signing her up!

The drive up to this gym is absolutely worth it every time. Attending the adult open gym is great. Staff are incredibly friendly. Amenities including a supertramp, foam pit, spring floor, bars to swing on, and plenty other standard parkour obstacles are located in this facility. The price for open gym being 15$ is absolutely amazing for the 2 1/2 hours of freetime provided.

What a wonderful experience and opportunity it has been for my child to learn how to master his acrobatic moves. We left another gym that was not doing much for us and we're so happy to have found Firestorm! The coaches are great, knowledgeable, and very caring. We look forward to spending much more time here and learning a lot more cool moves while gaining strength!

We found Firestorm through our homeschool charter school and decided to give it a try. My 10 year old daughter tried parkour and silks class and loved them both. Weβve done parkour class elsewhere and this place was far superior. The gym is large, clean and equipped with plenty of great stuff thatβs not all worn out. The instructors were amazing and gave great instruction and one on one attention. The office staff is attentive and super helpful. Weβre happy to have found it and definitely recommend it to anyone. Thank you Firestorm!

I've been coming to Firestorm on and off for many years now, and it has become very dear to my heart. Every time I go I immediately feel at home. I couldn't possibly say enough nice things about this place, the community, the facilities, the coaches, the owners, and the overall inspiring vibe. I've went to and worked at so many gyms across the country, and I've never loved one so much. Thank you Justin and Angel. Love you guys. 9/12 Edit: I had a fantastic experience coming back to this gym. I tried several classes with a Max Day Pass, and all the coaches were great. I feel like I learned much. Dimitriβs instruction was particularly helpful. I appreciated his detailed explanations, demonstrations, and specific feedback. I signed up for a 2-year monthly membership and plan to invite my friends to come as well. The one thing I wish they had is a βguest passβ for members to bring a friend to an open gym for free once a month so I could introduce them to the gym without any financial commitment on their part ($15 isnβt a lot, but this would make it easier to get them to say βyesβ to checking it out). I updated my rating to 5 stars to reflect my new experience today.
9/9 Edit: Thank you to Firestorm Freerunning for the fast and meaningful response. I really appreciate them offering me another opportunity to have a great experience and the clarification. I have adjusted my 1-star rating to reflect managementβs understanding reply, and I plan on taking them up on their offer to revisit this gym next week. Iβll update this rating/review with how it goes!
9/7: New members beware: this is not the place for you if you have prior parkour experience. I recently started looking for a parkour gym to get a membership at and recommend to my friend group who is also interested in joining me. I came in for the first time today to try the 7:00pm parkour class. I was charged $55 at the front desk for the class and an hour-long open gym session afterwards. The lesson was packed with students. Understandably, the single teacher did not have the bandwidth to give adequate time and instruction to every student (especially when many younger students demanded more attention). However, there was little effort made by the instructor to gauge where I was at or offer new direction as a first-time student. I felt like I didnβt get anything of value during the class session. I didnβt learn anything, and my current skills werenβt assessed. I was hoping for more interaction with a coach during a class session. I also felt like I was misled by the front desk person when I found out afterward that $40 of the $55 was for a βMax Day Pass,β which covers me for lessons during the entire day. I was only there for the last hour of the day, yet this was not explained to me when I arriven, and I was charged for one hour the same amount that would be for an entire day. I wouldβve appreciated if the front desk person told me this upfront, so I could come back on another day when I could get the full value. I was told that the instructor from the lesson would be available during the $15 open gym time to help me out, so I stayed for that additional session as well. However, the instructor never showed up, and I ended up feeling like my trip to this gym was a huge waste of time and money. Itβs unfortunate I wonβt be coming back because this was the closest and most convenient place for me. I was looking forward to learning a lot here. Instead, Iβll be looking at purchasing a yearly membership and signing up for classes at another gym next.

I will list the amenities belowβ as a fist timer, I was happy that they had anything I needed. I was worried about not having enough water or secure storage, but this place is comprehensive. Clean facilities, coaches are engaging (and caring), and has any other amenities you may need. There are tables, chairs, WiFi, lockers, and plenty of air circulating throughout. Large variety of classes to choose from. Particularly great for young ones, but also a great place adults to learn and practice, as well!
To make your visit comfortable (and safe), I noticed they have these things:
Chairs
Tables
WiFi
Bathrooms (womenβs have feminine and baby products for free, presumably)
Hand sanitizing station
Water fountains + bottle fillers
Cubby-sized lockers (lock-able with your own lock but I didnβt see locks on them)
Ample parking

We finally checked this place out this week and my kids haven't stopped talking about it since we left. My 5 year old did the Little Hero class and my 7 year old did the Parkour class...and they both napped after (which they NEVER do)!
Everyone from the front desk staff to the instructors to the people responding to emails have been incredibly friendly and helpful! This was our first organized class during the pandemic and we felt completely safe! The facility is clean and spacious, everyone was wearing a mask and social distancing was easy. We can't wait to come back! My kids have already requested to attend open gym everyday and the parents night outs! I only wish they had a toddler class because my 23 month old acted as if I was torturing him by not letting him join in the classes!

This place really bugs me. Over the years, weβve signed up twice, and cancelled twice. The teachers seem to have the right attitude about sports, but donβt actually train any of the kids as you would expect teachers to do. Kids are just expected to go with the flow and do whatβs asked. If they canβt, the teachers will just talk any anxiety down into not doing it. I guess itβs important to know your own limits, but this isnβt a place that will walk you through learning a new thing step by step. The first time we signed up my kid was six and asked his instructor to help him learn how to do a handstand. He was told βsomeoneβ could help him βat some pointβ for weeks (during which we stayed for open gyms and asked again and again but got brushed off), before I finally cancelled.
Like an adult gym, they try to rope you in to contracts that donβt work for the family, and offer zero flexibility if their own admin, or the students, have changing needs. Fast forward a few years and we tried again but with their outdoor classes. Theyβve changed the park venue after just two weeks to one that doesnβt work for our family, cancelled a class due to βincrement weatherβ and offered no refund or makeup classes unless we drive to their new indoor venue in Westminster to attend a class indoors (hey, not to put too fine a point on it, but it isnβt what I signed up for.) Finally, I need to add, my kid got a bruise on his ribs from climbing some stadium seating, and none of the βteachersβ seemed to notice or care or think to mention it happened. The injury wasnβt serious, kid was fine, but...I consider that a liability and Iβd rather not risk it again.
Gave them a good try, wasnβt for us.

Our first class was last week, and my kids have been counting down the days until the next class. I appreciate that one of the coaches who wasn't part of my kids' class happened to be walking past and noticed that one of my kids' form was off, so he stopped what he was doing and spent two minutes with him until he understood the correct form. Fantastic fun! Outstanding staff was very helpful in teaching us new things and give personal attention when asked, couldnt speak more highly of them. The place itself is well thought out with plenty to do, our hour and a half felt like 5 minutes. We especially enjoyed the Olympic trampoline and the Nerf wars (several battles with handheld weapons like axes and shields and several battles with the guns and darts they provided). Great change of pace from the daily norm!

This parkour gym has very friendly and capable teachers who know how to work well with kids. This was an enjoyable experience for my four kids. My kids were so happy to have a place to work out all of their energy after all these months of quarantining. It did get very hot for my kids with masks on, but I appreciated that they are working hard to follow guidelines so they can stay open.

This is the original location in Santa Ana. The coaches are friendly, enthusiastic, and seem very knowledgeable in their area of expertise. Most of the coaches are male. We had one female coach for the silks class. They had appropriate equipment for the classes being offered. The gym is not that big, but they do pack a lot of classes in there. There is a waiting area upstairs with chairs and couches. There are books and legos for siblings who are waiting. Being that this is the original location, it is older/ more used. We haven't visited the other locations yet, but one of the first things we noticed when we walked in was the smell of sweat. I do wonder how often the equipment gets a thorough cleaning.
My child was able to try out the classes she was interested in using the day max pass. She tried parkour and the aerial silks class. She received good feedback and instruction during her classes. I could see everything from the parent waiting area upstairs.

Brought my son to check it out and he was interested. He decided he wanted to sign up. Been a few month now and hes still going strong. He really looks forward to going and I am happy hes off the ipad burning calories. They have a trampoline and foam pit, springy gymnastics floor and climbing walls and scaffolding that can be configured to do just about anything. I imagine it might get hot and stinky in the summer but its fun right now. There is a handy upper view deck for parents to watch from so nothing shady goes on. The kids seem to like the coaches. The coaches make it fun but also teach and work them hard so its nice.

Great experience so far! I called around to a few other Parkour places before settling on this. Even though it was a bit farther of a drive, I chose Firestorm due to itβs excellent customer service (regardless of who I spoke with). This place has many options for a variety of interests, they put a lot of effort into student encouragement and growth; theyβre extremely flexible to work with what fits your needs! Very pleased! All of the coaches are kind & competent in their craft! The pricing is fair. They do a ton of different special events. A lot of open gym time options at almost no cost for members. Extra shout out to Sebastian for being a patient excellent communicator... super helpful!
Thanks!

Just took my first parkour class with the Max Day Pass and it was really fun! This is such a welcoming environment and the instructors are really great at correcting form and modifying techniques to help you out. There are a lot of kids during the day and I am amazed at their skill level, but several older people (like me) as well and I felt very comfortable doing everything. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun way to work out and learn movement skills.

I have 1 child that has been taking classes here for awhile, and now a younger sibling is starting. The coaches are all great with the kids and there is definitely an upbeat atmosphere. The downside is that the gym gets very hot in the summer, and there is not always enough sitting room in the lounge area ... however this also speaks to how popular Firestorm is.

At first, we loved this place. Then my teen (and unathletic) daughter tried a trampoline class so she wouldn't compete directly with her more athletic brother (despite giving her all, she couldn't best his parkour performance). Her new coach proceeded to shame her about her efforts (while being more interested in his own stunts than in guiding his students). He told her she wasn't trying hard on the day she gave herself a cut on the cheekbone with her own knee. This injury wasn't noticed by the coach despite the blood.
We spoke to an "assistant manager" who placed her in a different class with a different coach. The first class, the attentive coach signed her off on 4 different tasks. She loved her experience. The problem came after 3 classes when we sent an email advising Firestorm that she would miss her next class because of illness. We received an email stating she wasn't in the new class. She had to go back to the other class.
A visit in person resulted in another "assistant manager" saying that there were no emails recording a class change. That's because we spoke to the first "assistant manager" in person. We were now told the class change was "temporary" and the class was full. Oh, but we could wait 1-2 months for another facility to be built in Westminster, so there might be more room in the classes then.
Our choices: classes with a condescending abusive *coach*, wait for 1-2 months for a chance of regaining her class spot, or quit, taking our money with us. Hmmm.

A great gym to learn trampoline, pakour, aerial yoga, breakdance, etc. My boys love the classes it offers here, and the instructors are patient with them. I would love to rate them 5 stars if it has air conditioning. Unfortunately it get hot and stuffy there even with the swamp cooler and big fans running.

My 12 year old son tried the Parkour class and he loved it. I liked how they will only advance you to higher levels unless you have proofed that you are capable of certain tricks. Very nice coaches who really love what they are doing. My two girls also like the silk class. The coach explained everything in detail and was aware of their safety.

We're at the start of our second stint at Firestorm. We moved away for a year. On moving back our kids were very excited to get back to these classes. You can tell which classes have the best instructors by how excited our children are to do them. I'll be interested to hear their opinions after this first week. I'll do my best to report back on the winners.

I was looking for a parkour gym for my kiddos. We tried a place that hosted a parkour class, but I didnβt feel that the coaches were properly trained to teach parkour as it was mainly a place focused on gymnastics. Iβm so glad I found this place! The facility is great and the coaches are even better. We did a trial class here and their time is well organized. Even though the coaches had 6-7 students in their class, my kiddos still got the attention of the coach and were shown how to do each skill properly. My boys and I are looking forward to being a part of this gym for awhile!

I have been interested in parkour for years, but had not gotten around to trying it until this year- with my four year old son. We had THE BEST TIME. WE have been back many times now, and we definitely will be back many more. I really appreciated how the coaches spoke to my son as respectfully and with as much engagement as they did me. They are modeling what I am teaching him at home, and this is wonderful support- I also really appreciate the structure of the classes, and that they teach safe body mechanics FIRST! We finally signed up for membership!!

Today was our first and last visit to this gym. We live close to the gym and went so my son could practice on a particular obstacle. All was fine till some young kid came over and decided he was going to grab the bar and try the obstacle too. One of the coaches came over and and loudly proceeded to lecture us on the obstacle and how dangerous it was. Ummm...I think he needed to lecture the 6 year old that was trying to climb on it, not us. He then went on to ridicule my son by sarcastically asking him if he was planning on going on american ninja warrior. This guy has ZERO clue of our background or my son's previous training. When my son said no to his question he rolled his eyes and went off on a huff. All of this took place in front of a 2nd coach- he said nothing. Completely uncalled for and totally unprofessional!

Moving to this city I needed a new aerial training home. I was referred to Firestorm by performers I've worked with and I am so ecstatic to train here now. Since I started Vincent has been helpful behind the desk and during open training hours. Questions, rigging, and training, he has assisted me in some way. I'm looking to make this my standard training facility due to its versatility for tumbling and aerial training. If you need a space to improve your skills, get down here!

I e-mailed these guys about classes and within 24 hrs received answers to all my questions. The online customer service was initially what motivated me to walk into the building. I signed up for a trial class and was welcomed with even more incredible personal customer service. It was very obvious to me that the staff enjoy their jobs and enjoy doing what they do. They were all so friendly and very welcoming to me as a newcomer. I especially appreciated that the coach I had this evening was very considerate of how hot it has been and how hot the gym can get, allowing us students to get water frequently. Long story short, I was very pleased with the service and workout i was given and signed up for class. :)
