I’ve been taking a class with Michael for almost a year. We focus on balance, strength building and coordination. Skills that I use throughout my daily life. Michael has a vast knowledge base, extensive experience and a keen ability to make modifications. His easy going and non-judgmental approach make our class enjoyable. I highly recommend him for 1:1 and group classes.

I came to Michael with a painful back and looking for some exercises to do. Michael worked with at my level and showed me stretching and strengthening exercises to build core strength and muscle building back exercises. He created a fitness program personally for me to improve
my back and over all health. He is knowledgeable and very supportive. I would highly recommend Michael if you are looking for a personal trainer.

Michael is a wonderful fitness instructor. He is sincerely interested in my wellness and is willing to work in conjunction with my Physical Therapist to improve the loss of muscle. He is very patient. I love that he changes things up over time so I don't become bored. I highly recommend Michael as I am beginning to feel Fit over Forty after working out with him!

I have been working with Michael privately and in a group for several months after a friend who has been working with him for several years suggested I contact him after my knee replacement surgery. Fit Beyond 40 is exactly how I feel after training with Michael. The training Michael helped me through is designed specifically for me( what works for one may not work for others ). I have been living with Multiple Sclerosis for decades now and have had to learn how to walk, speak, & use my motor skills all over again. Michael always Checks in with me before, during, and after my workout to see how my body is doing and how I’m feeling. Don’t think he will baby or carry you through the training.. He gives specific instructions on what to do and how much to try to do. Stern yet motivating,
I even traveled from Sacramento to Alameda to train in his gym, if you don't use what you have, you’ll loose it. After training with Michael my balance, posture, and strength has improved, not to mention how youthful I can feel ☺️

Michael adjusts workouts to fit my aging body. As a senior the changes in balance, strength and endurance can happen without awareness. He tracks my progress and knows when to push me a little harder. Training sessions are challenging enough for improvement but not so onerous that I want to quit.
